I celebrated my 50th here at the bowling alley with my family. There should not be more than 10 people at the bowling alley. There is a small table for 2 people that can be pulled up to the large table, but since there is a step in the room and the small table only fits in front of the step, this table was not on the same level as the large table . And since there was only one radiator for the large room, it was relatively cold there. And what bothered me personally was that the bowling alley was used as a storage room for various Christmas decorations and other unused things. The service staff was friendly and helpful, although empty bottles and dishes could also be taken away immediately after a new order was served. Only the manager of the house saw this directly during her only "operation" with us and acted immediately. Most of my guests were happy with the food. The fries, the gyros with tzatziki and the starter salad were delicious. However, the "Grillteller Chef" skewer consisted almost entirely of fatty, tough cartilage mass, and was therefore only half eaten by those "affected"! We also complained about this, but the boss said that neck meat was just the way it was, it was also on the menu that it was neck meat, and he had been offering the skewer in this form for 13 years. It may be that there are guests who like to eat something like that, but personally I found it almost disgusting and the little bit of the skewer I ate still felt heavy in my stomach the next morning. Conclusion: All in all it was ok for the price, but next time I would personally look elsewhere...

On the occasion of our 41st class reunion, we reserved a table for 15 people. The reservation already worked wonderfully. You were on vacation at the time and still got in touch immediately. Class! We were with you on October 19th, 2024. Everything went well and we all had a very good meal and felt comfortable with you. A big thank you to everyone and especially to the very friendly service! I actually wanted to give it three and a half stars, but it ended up being three. First of all: The food is very good and the selection is enormous and the quality is right. There is a respectable selection for a Greek restaurant, especially for vegetarians and vegans. But what, in my opinion, is no longer “workable” these days is that card payments are only possible from €25 onwards. And then of course only with Girocard, no credit card, no GooglePay wallet etc.

It was our first time at Mylos. Service was friendly and quick, the ambience was ok. Bread in advance and the salad was ok. My wife's skewer was good and tasty, I had the Mylos plate, liver, lamb chop and gyros were ok, the other meat was too dry (fried for too long). I missed the usual ouzo at the Greek??

We ate very well. There was warm baguette with dip as a starter. Nice service. Well-attended restaurant.

War mit einer Kollegin hier. Das Restaurant besitzt ein eigenen Parkplatz und liegt an einer viel befahrenen Straße. Das Ambiente ist sehr einladend und urig. Man kann draußen und drinnen sitzen. Die Speisen sind sehr üppig. Alleine der Beilagensalat war groß. Die Vinaigrette war super. Ich hatte Souvlakispieße, meine Kollegin Lammfilet. Waren beide sehr zufrieden. Können die Shrimps in Tomatensoße und Feta sehr empfehlen.

Not a traditional Greek restaurant! Anyone expecting traditional and original Greek cuisine will be disappointed. A mousakas priced at almost €20, which is frozen, then thawed and served as something that doesn't deserve its name. Mushy mashed potatoes without any seasoning or taste. The eggplant had to be searched for a long time and turned out to be a single, narrowly sliced ​​piece. Even the salad had nothing Greek about it, the feta was missing and ended up on top of the mousakas! And then with the zucchini, 6 slices fried in breading, too much garlic and oil. In the end it was a disaster in terms of taste. It's absolutely not enough to make you come back and get a recommendation!

Absolutely underground. The greeting from the kitchen consisted of toasted white bread and a mini portion of potato salad (wild combo, right?) - which the four of us then shared. Tzatziki as a starter for €6.50 was a spoon, which was then supposed to appear larger by smearing it on a plate. You couldn't go wrong with the olives and pepperoni, they were fine. The Mylos grill plate for €16.50 was tiny. The wrong side dish was delivered and tzatziki was missing, the waiter then brought the correct side dish. In all dishes the meat was absolutely inferior: Gyros from the Stihl chopper without a crust, skewers that only consisted of fat, chicken gyros 'a la "burnt" chips and vegan gyros, which probably just consisted of seasoned wheat breading. Question for the kitchen: Do you try your own food? The taste is a disgrace. Paying separately was too inconvenient for the waiter, so he asked us to pay at the counter.

The store seemed like a good choice as it is regularly very busy and luckily we had a reservation. Unfortunately, the food wasn't nearly as tasty as expected. The vegan gyros didn't have much in common with gyros in terms of taste, the real gyros were different for each of us - sometimes almost burnt, sometimes cold, sometimes just small snippets... So not necessarily a showpiece. The tzatziki was again only issued in very small quantities, as if it were the national treasury of Greece. The souvlaki were very greasy. Unfortunately, I have to say that we have eaten better in snack bars. Luckily the atmosphere wasn't so stereotypically Greek, but it didn't really fit either. What's particularly annoying is that the drinks aren't cheap and water isn't even featured on the menu. Instead of still water there was sparkling water. We probably won't come again.

We ordered two vegan dishes and were extremely satisfied!! The service was super friendly and made sure that we got something vegan for the starter and salad and the ambience was simply beautiful in the middle of the green. Gladly again <3

Wonderfully delicious food and the best gyros I've eaten in Haan and beyond. We will eat here regularly from now on.

Everything is right...The service is strikingly good, as is the food, the atmosphere is rustic and good, the crowd is pleasant. Reservations are definitely necessary, there are few parking spaces, but a trip is worth it!!! You shouldn't go anywhere for good food be far...

Good restaurant with a large selection and portions. Coat rack is a little hard to find, so we put ours on the windowsill. The selection of drinks is also good.

Hier stimmt einfach alles, nicht umsonst sind wir hier regelmäßig zu Gast. Das rustikal-moderne Ambiente ist einladend, ob Gaststube, Winter- oder Biergarten, hier sollte für jeden Geschmack ein gemütlicher Platz zu finden sein. Die Speisen sind lecker und so portioniert, dass man auch ohne Vorspeise satt wird. Seit einiger Zeit befindet sich neben Füchschen Alt vom Fass auch das entsprechende Pils (Empfehlung!) im Ausschank. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der hervorragende Service, gepaart mit authentischer griechischer Gastfreundschaft, hier bleiben absolut keine Wünsche offen.

Nachdem wir vor ein paar Wochen in einer Taverne in Dachau essen waren und auch noch sehr gute Erinnerungen an unseren Urlaub in Griechenland hatten, freute ich mich heute sehr über die Einladung ins Mylos. Leider war die Freude nicht von langer Dauer. Mit authentischem Essen aus Griechenland hat das hier nicht viel zu tun. Das bestellte Tsatsiki (auf der Karte steht Zaziki) für rund 6 Euro ist ein Mini-Klecks auf einer Untertasse. Geschmacklich ganz ok, aber nicht wirklich wow. Generell waren die Portionen sehr klein und wenig schmackhaft. Ursprünglich wollte ich Bifteki bestellen, entschied mich dann aber (erinnernd an unser Essen in Dachau) für die Baby-Calamari. Das war dann wohl ein Fehler. Auf der Karte steht: Baby-Calamari aus der Pfanne mit Knoblauchsoße. Was ich bekam hatte wenig damit zu tun. Die Calamari schmeckten wenig frisch, hatten Unmengen Mehl-Panade (welche auf dem Teller abfiel) und waren vollgefüllt mit undefinierbarer Mehr Pampe, die sich entsprechend rausdrücken lies. Auch meine restlichen Familienmitglieder hatten ähnliche Erlebnisse auf dem Teller. Generell war unser Kellner nett. Die Dame, die die Gerichte aus der Küche bringt war eher platt. Hatte was von Kantine. Hier, Ihr Essen. Der Kellner schien unsere Nicht-Zufriedenheit zu spüren. Auf die Frage, ob es geschmeckt habe, sprach ich ihn auf die Füllung und meine Verwunderung an. Auch hier hätte er einlenken können. Das mindeste wäre ein Ouzo aufs Haus gewesen. Auch dies Fehlanzeige. Leider kann ich das Restaurant somit nicht empfehlen.

Everything excellent. Portions sufficient. Price/performance perfectly fine. Tastes very good. We will be back.

We sat in the back and there were way too many tables and it was very loud and cramped. There was hardly any space between the tables. You couldn't understand your own words. Portions are very small (children's portion) and the taste is not great either. Service very inattentive and slow. Won't be coming back.

My family and I have been Mylos customers for 10 years. The staff is very friendly and the food is always delicious.

Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal im Mylos. Wegen der veganen Speisekarte sind wir extra aus Hagen gekommen. Das Ambiente ist toll, die Bedienungen sehr zuvorkommend und superfreundlich. Stets wurde sich erkundigt, ob alles OK wäre und auch nach neuen Getränken wurde regelmäßig gefragt. Der kleine Gruß aus der Küche war leider nicht vegan, aber es wurde angeboten veganen Ersatz zu bringen. Die Softgetränke sind sehr klein und wirklich schnell leergetrunken. Dafür sind sie leider viel zu teuer. Auf den Tellern der Hauptgerichte hätten wir uns noch ein bisschen Deko gewünscht, ein paar Peperonis vielleicht. So ganz ohne sah der Teller etwas lieblos aus. Das Bifteki war geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Fetafüllung war allerdings nicht geschmolzen, was mit ein paar Minuten im Backofen anders gewesen wäre. Aus Hagen sind wir außerdem gewohnt nach dem Essen einen Ouzo auf Kosten des Hauses zu bekommen. Da wir hier pro Ouzo ca 5 Euro bezahlt hätten, haben wir darauf verzichtet. Trotzdem vergeben wir volle Punktzahl, denn das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und wir waren pappsatt. Und am 2. Weihnachtstag kommen wir wieder.

Geschmacklich war es ok., (da hat natürlich auch jeder ein anderes Geschmacksempfinden) ..... Preislich finde ich es für ein griechisches Restaurant schon eher an der oberen Grenze, was sowohl das Essen betrifft, als auch die Getränke. Ich für meinen Teil finde, dass es bessere griechische Restaurants gibt.

Sehr gutes und nicht zu teures Restaurant. Die letzten Male immer am Wochenende spontan dort gewesen (nach einem Anruf ob noch Platz wäre), draußen bei dem Wetter natürlich alles voll, Innen war noch Platz - also wenn es geht, besser reservieren. Das Essen ist sehr gut, von den Portionen her in Ordnung, "für beim Griechen" ehr etwas wenig. Für den normalen Menschen aber wohl ausreichend, daher bei größerem Hunger einfach eine Beilage mehr bestellen und gut ;) Besser so als wenn immer was in die Tonne fliegt. Einpacken scheint ansonsten auch kein Problem sein, wenn man mal bei Nachbartischen gelauscht hat. Die Kellner:innen sind nur am Laufen, leider dauert es dementsprechend mal ein bisschen länger, wenn man noch etwas zu trinken haben möchte oder so. Man kommt aber stets an den Tisch nach Erhalt der Speisen und erkundigt sich, ob alles in Ordnung wäre. Im Zweifel also abfangen und nicht drauf warten, dass man gefragt wird. Man könnte manchmal wohl problemlos eine Servicekraft dazu stellen und die hätte auch nur zu tun. Das Restaurant allgemein, wie die Tische, sind immer sauber, das Personal sehr nett. Immer wieder gerne! Kleiner Kritikpunkt: Bietet auch mal Softdrinks an, die größer sind als 0,2l (mit entsprechenden Gläsern)! Das ist so zu wenig, die noch kleineren Gläser sind in einem Zug leer und das geht den Abend über bei den Preisen leider sehr ins Geld... :/

nettes Team und freundlicher Chef … für einen Samstagabend bei vollem Haus kamen die Speisen und Getränke zügig … von der Metaxasauce war ich enttäuscht … ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Essen war sehr lecker. Man kann gut draußen sitzen und es ist ein schöner Abschluss nach einer Wanderung in dieser schönen Umgebung. Zum Schluss gibt's wer mag noch einen Uzo von und mit dem Chef. Preise sind schon was höher. Aber noch im Rahmen.

Leckeres Essen (etwas übersichtlich - aber genug), nette und freundliche Bedienung. Der Wirt begrüsste uns per Handschlag, sehr aufmerksam. Lokal und Sanitärräume sauber und aufgeräumt. Das Bier meiner Begleitung war leider nicht kalt genug. Sonst war aber alles gut. Parkplätze sind genügend vorhanden.

Wir waren in letzter Zeit schon öfter mit der Familie da und ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass es mich jedes Mal wieder überrascht wie gut das Restaurant ist. Das Ambiente ist sehr nett und man kann im ruhigen Restaurant echt sehr gut essen. Das Essen ist sehr abwechslungsreich und es schmeckt alles insgesamt gut und es ist wirklich für jeden was dabei. Die Kellner sind extrem zuverlässig und bringen das Essen immer schnell raus und sind außergewöhnlich nett. Gerade die junge Kellnerin die uns meistens bedient ist immer sehr aufmerksam und sympathisch und gibt uns immer ein gutes gefühlt wenn wir dort sind.

Das Mylos ist ein griechisches-mediterranes Lokal. Mehrere Räumlichkeiten bieten Platz für schöne Stunden. Vorweg wird ein kleiner Gruß aus der Küche serviert. Die Speisekarte ist vielfältig, dass Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hinkt leicht. Die Bedienung könnte etwas aufmerksamer sein (zumal wir Mittags die einzigen Gäste waren).

Sehr schmackhafte Gerichte, freundliches Personal und angemessene Preise

Essen, ok, wenn man die grische Küche nicht kennt... Bedienung, ok, Fachkräftemangel... ich sehne mich nach Griechenland... abseits von Touristen... dort ist es authentisch... ehrlich und herzlich... einfach schade... ich kenne Griechen als stolze und der Tradition verbundene Menschen... es ist schade, daß diese Tradition der Eindeutschung zum Opfer fällt. Ps: ist es wirklich notwendig, sich anzupassen. Ja ist es leider, aber wirklich so stark daß die Kultur und Küche... so ein Spagat machen muß? Ich, wir lieben die Grische Küche, aber wenn dann authentisch.... Ich wünsche den gesamten Team, gute Umsätze und bleibt wie ihr seid... es sei denn ihr möchtet Grischekultur in Deutschland etablieren. Macht was aus euch ihr habt es verdient....

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe dort. Das Essen hat leider nicht so gut geschmeckt. Das vegane Gyros war leider trocken. Service und Ambiente war sehr gut.

Täuschende Bilder, Essen gerade noch OK, aber nicht für den Preis. Lieblos serviert. Schönes Haus und nettes Personal. Kartenzahlung nur bedingt möglich. (EC)

Personal sehr freundlich - Essen frisch und lecker - Portionen aber sehr überschaubar und recht lieblos auf dem Teller serviert - der recht kleine Gastraum mit zu vielen Tischen ausgestattet, so daß es einfach viel zu eng ist und die Gemütlichkeit verloren geht

Tisch für 6 Personen reserviert, aber nur einen für 5 Personen bekommen. Das Essen war dann leider auch nicht so der Hit. Das Fleisch trocken , der Ziegenkäse zerlaufen und nicht ansehnlich serviert.

Super! Kann hier immer mittwochs den all you can eat gambas tag empfehlen, es gibt dann immer 1 kg gambas! Sehr freundliches und nettes Personal! Weiter so…

Vegan beim Griechen - sehr schön! Wo gibt es das sonst? Leckeres veganes Bifteki mit Röstaromen und Füllung aus veg. Frischkäse und Gemüse, dazu Pommes, Aiwar und veg Zaziki, ebenfalls sehr lecker. Zum Nachtisch veg. Baklava. Der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Vielen Dank für den schönen und leckeren Aufenthalt.

Leider war das Suvlaki eher ein Fett Schaschlik, lag uns sehr im Magen. Ich kenne das seither als flache magere Stücke auf dem Spiess. Ansonsten sehr lecker
