The food was consistently delicious: freshly prepared, well-seasoned, and authentically Greek. The hot appetizers and grilled dishes are a particular highlight. You can tell that they place great emphasis on quality. Overall, a fantastic restaurant with a great atmosphere, excellent food, and very attentive service. A clear recommendation for anyone who loves Greek cuisine or simply wants to enjoy a lovely evening!

That was our first and last time there. The tables in the large room were far too close together. It wasn't cozy and much too loud to have a conversation, even though not all the seats were occupied. The portions were very small and some were poor quality. The meat was burnt and gristly, and the fries weren't crispy. The price/performance ratio is not right.

The food was delicious, I really enjoyed it, especially the meat, which was very fresh and tasted great. The waiters and the owner were very friendly! I highly recommend this restaurant!! Thank you for the delicious food! 👍😀

We were a group of six for dinner. The service was, as always, super friendly. The portions were good and the quality was good.

The four of us actually had a good meal there, but the portions were very small. None of us were really full. It's embarrassing when you have guests... In other restaurants, we usually can't finish the portions... so it can't be because we're too hungry.

In my opinion, it's absolutely recommended. I've never been disappointed there.

First and last time I ate there. The bifteki wasn't cooked properly, the fries were cold, the chicken breast was juicy but overly salted, the fried potatoes weren't fresh and cold, and the salad wasn't crispy and had no flavor. It's a shame. There's nothing to complain about the staff; they were very accommodating.

Today was our first time at Brusco. The food was rather mediocre, like anything you'd find at a Greek takeaway, but the prices were on the lower end for Düsseldorf. Portions were quite small. The gyros meat was average in taste. The Metaxa sauce was also quite ordinary. The service was friendly enough. The atmosphere was great; we could sit outside and eat undisturbed by flies and other insects. Brusco has its own parking lot, which is why it wasn't crowded on this early holiday afternoon. Because of what I consider to be far too high prices, I won't be going there again.

Greek restaurant located just outside of Haan. We really enjoyed the food, the prices were reasonable and the service was very friendly and child-friendly.

Incredibly bad service... Today: The four of us sat down in the beer garden, drinks were spontaneously picked up and brought, then the order for food was taken. Then we waited, and waited...and waited...40 minutes later we asked our waitress what was going on with the food..."she'll take a look, she'll definitely be there soon"... (Obviously forgotten...) Unbelievable, but there were only 5-6 tables occupied... and she didn't even notice that we still didn't have anything!?!? The apology with “would you like an Ouzo/Metaxa on the house?” is little consolation... Otherwise: Food (too) expensive for what was offered (see other reviews with pictures), average taste. Nice atmosphere in the beer garden, but on a road that is primarily used for loud speeding past (curves with an incline). So we had to keep interrupting conversations because it was getting too loud. Reasons to come here again: none.. Edit: after reading the comments from the owner (and also the other reviews... you can only shake your head... Apparently it's always "the guest's fault" in this restaurant...)

The food was good, but nothing special. The dining room is loud and normal conversation at the table is hardly possible. The billing (we were a group at 2 tables) was chaotic and unclear. Some meals were forgotten and had to be reordered.

Das war das letzte Mal sas wir da waren. Die Portionen sind so klein geworden das mein Mann noch Hunger hatte. Gyros Salat: Karte: Eisbergsalat, Rucola, Tomate, Gurke, Croutons, Cesar Dressing Bekommen: Eisberg, 4 Rucola Stiele, 2 Scheibe Gurke geteilt auf dem Tellerrand. On Top Gyros mit Cesar Dressing, dachte es wäre Majo und Balsamiko. Eisbergsalat Trocken. Sprach meine Enttäuschung aus und wurde angepammt, könnte ja noch Dressing haben. Null Verständnis oder Entschuldigung! Das machen wir immer so. Nie wieder.

Wir waren mit meiner Firma hier essen. Es war an einem Donnerstag Abend und es war recht leer. Das Restaurant befindet sich direkt an der Hauptstraße. Parken kann man vor der Tür auf dem eigenen Parkplatz oder im nahegelegenen Gartencenter. Die Karte ist klein aber gut und das Ambiente ist sehe ansprechend und schön. Hier sollte man den Ein oder Anderen Euro mehr einplanen. Die Preise sind etwas gehoben. Das Essen war absolut okey. Zum Start und zum Abschluss gab es einen Ouzo. Das hat für viel Freude gesorgt.

We (4 people) received 4 slices of baguette bread with the cold meze platter (all spreads)! After we asked for a little more bread, we were given three thin slices. When we asked the boss what this was about, he came across as aggressive and we were given 5 slices on the table in a very unfriendly manner instead of three. Brusco will never see us again.

Edit October 2024: I haven't been here for a while and have to adjust my rating. The prices have risen significantly, which was to be expected given the current economic situation, but unfortunately the portions have also been reduced. What a shame! My girlfriend ordered the gyros plate and wanted fried potatoes instead of fries. The owner said that wasn't a problem. It would have been nice if he had mentioned that these are charged at an additional charge of +1€. I had the fried salmon with baked potato. The salmon was well fried, the baked potato had a great little dollop of tzatziki on it. As the potato became more and more dry because the tzatziki was gone in the first bite, I asked the waitress if she could please put more tzatziki on the potato for me. Again no problem and it came quickly. Here too it could have been mentioned that this additional portion of tzatziki costs a whopping €6.50!! is billed.... I would have expected that a small refill on the potato would of course be free when the dish already costs €22. The Greek cake still tastes very tasty, but the small piece for €8.50 is now way too overpriced. Unfortunately, I didn't take a closer look at the bill until I got home, otherwise I would have asked the owner about these additional and unannounced items on the bill. This won't happen to me the next time I go to a restaurant. I think this was my last visit here. Quality & service do not justify the inflated prices. It's a shame, but all the best! 2022: Very good restaurant! I've been there several times and would love to come back. The food is very tasty, the starters and also the main courses. If you have the Greek cake as a dessert, definitely go for it. There is a welcome ouzo once you sit down. I have always found the staff to be very friendly and attentive.

Relatively expensive and very simple cuisine. No WoW effect. But a nice atmosphere. More like 3.5 stars but unfortunately this is not possible here.

Ok so we were disappointed. Went here with my daughter who is 6. I ordered the baked gyros, she ordered French fries. The gyros was ok but the meat not really tender and too fatty. The fries came with lots of oregano on top and my daughter started crying as she doesn’t like spices. I told the waiter. They brought her new fries but charged us for them. I think this is where I would have expected the courtesy to just replace them. 2x 4.30 for fries is a lot. The tiny apple juice my daughter ordered twice was 3.80. that’s 7.60 for apple juice. High prices for relatively poor quality and service. I do not recommend this place.

Since we had sat down at a reserved table without knowing it, the waiter rudely insulted us and asked us to move. After that I lost my appetite and have rarely experienced anything so low-class. The food was acceptable, nothing more.

We had a business lunch here today with 6 people. A very well-stocked "normal" menu and also a small but nice lunch menu. Despite the different compositions, all six meals arrived at the same time and all guests were very happy with their choice. I will definitely try more dishes here several times, but on a private mission so that I can also try the wine selection...

I changed my rating from 4 to 2 stars. Why ? Because it gets worse from time to time. Portions smaller. But prices are higher. To charge 14.90 euros for my Pita things is outrageous. Hardly any meat on it, a few fries, the rest just salad. Not even a lot of tzatziki on it. So I get more in every chip shop. We were there last time. Disappointing since Corona, you have let up so much. In addition, the waiter always looks grim. I wasn't even asked if I wanted dessert today. This is not a service. Inviting is different. The taste is good, although very changeable. Price performance is poor. Always came specifically from Düsseldorf or Mettmann. But now it's over. Things are now better in Düsseldorf and Mettmann. Brusco no thanks never again. For comparison, look at the two pictures of the souvlaki. One is from three four years ago. Portion significantly larger sls now.

After presenting 2 vouchers from 10/22, things became a bit unfriendly. 1 voucher was accepted because the validity of 1 year is stated on the voucher. Reason: the restaurant could go bankrupt after just one year. Ok, keep it up and maybe it will work. Well, it was our last visit.

I would have loved to give TEN STARS!!! The food is perfect, everything is perfect. From starter to dessert, it's pure enjoyment! I would love to eat here every day and enjoy it.

When we entered the restaurant we were warmly welcomed and shown to the table. The card was a sheet of A3 format. The drinks order was taken quickly and delivered quickly. However, the 0.2 liter bottle is very expensive at €3.30. The ouzo you get at the beginning is on the house, it could have been a little cooler, which isn't so bad now. I had the grill plate and my girlfriend had the gyro plate. And garlic bread as a starter. The bread was nice and crispy but was slightly burnt by the grill, which made the bread a bit bitter. The salad was good. The main courses were prepared quickly and the meat was nice and juicy and the fries were nice and crispy, very tasty. For my taste there could have been a little more fries and especially more tzatziki, the amount of tzatziki was more of a small dollop of tablespoons. We had to order a plate of tzatziki for €5.50. Occasionally the waitress came and asked if everything was OK, but when the neighboring table was empty she came even more rarely. For dessert we had the chocolate cake and the mixed ice cream, the cake was nice and fluffy and the chocolate center was nice and creamy. The ice cream was ok, small balls but ok. The sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained and nice and bright. The stay was still very nice. We know that restaurateurs also have to earn something, but then they should also adjust the portions a little.

Absolutely crazy!!! Table reserved for 12 o'clock were 5 minutes before 12 and asked to wait outside. Then the table inside wasn't even pushed together or set. The staff seemed listless. Then my grill plate, the skewer, was burnt, as was my aunt's bifteki, the opposite, my lamb was raw. On complaint, a new one was brought to me. Our children got their salad without dressing but with stalk. (See photos) Extra 0.2 l drinks are sold here. There are no larger glasses, but the small ones cost €3.20. All in all, it's a disaster that they wanted money for it. It's an impudence.

Unfreundliches Personal.Obwohl im Garten noch etliche freie Plätze vorhanden waren wurden wir nach einer Reservierung gefragt.Dann ließ man uns erst einmal stehen.Als wir endlich Platz nehmen durften bat ich um ein Stuhlkissen, harte Gartenstühle. Mit wurde schnippisch geantwortet das es solche nicht gäbe. Andere Gäste hatten durchaus welche, sicherlich nicht von zu Hause mitgebracht. Wir sind gegangen und haben in dem freundlichen griechischem Poseidon in Vohwinkel gut gespeist.

Immer wieder sehr leckeres Essen. Auf Sonderwünsche wird jederzeit eingegangen. Für alle Geschmäcker etwas dabei. Sehr gute Qualität und Auswahl an Speisen.

Freundliche Bedienung, bodenständiges Essen ohne viel SchnickSchnack, dafür prima zubereitet! Konstante Qualität über viele Jahre hinweg, "Brusco-Gerichte zum Mitnehmen" haben uns durch Corona begleitet und wir haben sie heute auch noch gerne für den Kinoabend Zuhause.

Schöner Innen- und Außenbereich, freundliche Bedienung und leckeres Essen. Preis ist angemessen. Komme gerne wieder. Der Fisch ist sehr lecker.

Wir waren seit langer Zeit mal wieder im Restaurant. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Obwohl es sehr voll war und ich nicht reserviert hatte, hat man uns nach kurzer Wartezeit ein Tisch fertig gemacht. Wir haben uns für die Tagesempfehlung entschieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Als Dessert haben wir einen selbstgemachten Desser von der Chefin des Hauses (Vasiliki) gegessen. Einfach toll. Obwohl es sehr voll war, hat der Service gepasst. 5 Minuten länger warten ist auch keine Problem. Es war wie immer alles sehr gut und wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder. Dann aber auf der tollen Aussenterrasse. DANKE

Essen ist ok ,Essen wird leider für ein griechisches Restaurant sehr dezent gewürzt. Aussichtsterrasse leider geschlossen wegen Personalmangel .Terrasse direkt am Parkplatz und Haupstr mit einfacher Bestuhlung dementsprechend ein wenig unbequem

Bei unserem Spontanbesuch am letzten Wochende bekamen wir ohne Reservierung einen guten Platz. Der Service war zügig aber nicht aufdringlich. Wir haben weder auf die Vorspeisen noch auf die Hauptgerichte lange warten müssen. Alles war sehr gut. Die Portionen insbesondere der Hauptgerichte sind durchaus reichlich, das Fleich war heiß und saftig. Insbesondere die Giros und die empfehlenswerten Patatas (besser als Pommes) sind auf jeden Fall überdurchschnittlich. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Danke!
