Our absolute favorite Greek restaurant! The ambiance is very pleasant and modern. The menu is extensive and has everything a Greek heart desires. The service is always friendly, polite, and attentive. The food is served promptly and is always delicious and absolutely plentiful. Always accompanied by an ouzo before and after! We've enjoyed coming here for many years and can only recommend this fantastic Greek restaurant!!! Thank you 🧡

We have been going there on and off for years, including on the day of arrival in the evening as the start of our holiday and have always been very satisfied. We were there on the first evening this time too and were unfortunately very disappointed. The soft drinks were sold as syrup with water (tastes terribly artificial), unfortunately the food wasn't any better. The food tasted very warmed up and not freshly prepared, the meat was not good at all when it was prepared in the morning and warmed up in the evening (very dry). The quality has deteriorated greatly over the last year. We were only there once during our vacation and won't be visiting again anytime soon. It's a shame, it's a shame.

Our first visit to the Crete restaurant. We had made a reservation and were warmly greeted by the host couple(?) when we entered and were shown to a nice table for us and our dog. The service was very attentive and personal throughout the evening. After ordering, we didn't have to wait long for our food, even though the restaurant was busy. The quality of the meat was okay, but to be honest we've had better. The topping with the dried herb mixture was a bit overdone. Overall, we didn't eat badly at all. The price/performance ratio was definitely good. We had a wonderful evening, especially because of the atmosphere and the personal commitment of the host family. Top hosts, even towards us as foreign guests.

We have been enjoying the family stay and the delicious food in the Kreta restaurant on our vacation for more than 2 years. Due to the not exactly positive reviews 2 years ago (former operator), we can only give positive feedback. Ambiance, good food and a cozy atmosphere ensure a pleasant stay. We are already looking forward to seeing you again in June, where we will spend many wonderful hours there again on our vacation. True to the motto “Welcome to friends”

When it came to lunch, we exposed ourselves as repeat offenders😃For a very reasonable price, we had delicious and sufficiently large portions including a scoop of ice cream for dessert. On the terrace in the sun or inside, both very pleasant.

We saw the gate open 5-10 p.m. in the afternoon. After a 30 minute walk in the evening we found out that it was closed. Why do you do something like that? Then we went to Milloncino. They get 5 stars from us.

Service was great, the food gave the impression that it was warmed up especially for each guest with every order. At least with the liver this was only partially successful.

I arrived in Grömitz today and will have dinner at my favorite Greek restaurant. I am always welcome here! The staff is always very friendly and always has kind words on their lips. The food is of good quality and tastes very tasty and therefore a good price/performance ratio. Service and ambience cannot be faulted

Tzaziki tasted stale and the fries were too salty

Food arrived lukewarm and was cold after two bites of the fork, otherwise it was tasty.

We have been going to Grömitz for 10 years. Crete was always one of our absolute musts. But today we were very disappointed. The portions have shrunk so much. And we no longer like our absolute favorite food, gyros gratinated with Metaxa sauce. Very small gyros. Almost like Bolognese. Very little sauce. We'll probably have to find a new favorite Greek. There are plenty of others in Grömitz. You also have the feeling of quick processing. They would love to hand you the drink on the way to the table.

We were there with two families, ordering was relatively quick, but there was a problem with the right drinks. Ambience... well what can you get out of what is there. Staff relatively friendly. Of course we also want to earn money. Unfortunately I have to say the food wasn't good, gyros, it was very tough and gristly and unfortunately not enjoyable, I had to leave half of it behind. The “garlic bread” was definitely a baked baguette that was lightly seasoned and fried (4 pieces in a package available from various providers, available for €0.69). I understand something different by Greek specialties. Unfortunately I don't know why people are lining up there waiting for a table...

Unfortunately we don't give this restaurant many stars. I rarely write reviews, but we ate there last night and we were disappointed with the food. I had over-baked gyros and simply asked for a few more fries instead of rice. The service was friendly and our food arrived after about 15 minutes That surprised us a bit. My meat was very stringy with cartilage, the fries had the normal portion like the others. At first I tried to eat it, but a little later I said so. There was nothing alternative offered and the full amount charged. The remaining dishes also didn't have much taste. Conclusion, we definitely won't eat there again. It's a shame that they don't make any effort.

Basically there is nothing to complain about. Food very tasty and sufficient. Restaurant very busy which speaks for it. Was alone there, which is probably not something you like. Got a small, very tight space. Food arrives shortly after you order. However, you can't finish the starter in peace, then the main course comes. You get the feeling of being dismissed and that makes you uncomfortable. I'm used to Greek hospitality differently.

The food we ordered came to the table after just 8 minutes, actually not bad, but: meat was lukewarm (rather cold), hardly seasoned, tasted watery, the rice was cold... the "Metaxa sauce" is more reminiscent of pureed tomatoes, in my opinion Nothing at all to do with Metaxa sauce, and then the "spicy sauce" which was supposed to be hot, an absolute joke... not a bit spicy... just ridiculous... staff pointed this out, no apology or accommodating. Seems like mass production to me...never again! Save your standard answers and respond to the criticism...

We were there on Thursday and knew Crete from last year, where we were also very satisfied. We ordered the gyros and the grill plate. The meat was juicy and crispy, something that many restaurants cannot achieve at the same time. Both the tzatziki and the garlic and red sauce that were served with it were very tasty and the portions were generous. The menu, drinks and food were delivered very quickly and friendly by a young man. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the main course. The only recommendation for improvement that we gave verbally last year was the starter salad. Even though it was an appetizer, it seemed clearly undersized, not typical of the country and arranged carelessly. You could also leave it out. When I go out for a Greek meal, I don't want a typical German salad, like in a factory canteen, but something Greek. At least we, dare you say, offer something typical of the country, like homemade coleslaw or something similar. Something also disturbing is not the food but the floor tiles, many of which wobble badly when you walk on them. This is very unsettling when walking over them as they wobble underfoot. Conclusion: Very worthwhile visit, which we clearly recommend and will repeat.

We both had the grill plate for lunch. The meat was not very seasoned, but with the tzatziki it was ok. As usual, the portions for lunch are a little smaller, with a small salad and a scoop of ice cream for dessert. The price-performance ratio is right.

We showed up at the restaurant "unannounced" and still got a nice seat on the outside terrace, the staff was nice and accommodating and the food was very good and worth the price! We will definitely stop by there again when we are in Grömitz again!!

Food mediocre to OK, main course minced rolls very over-seasoned. Cautiously sharp. Service unfortunately poor. When it comes to the bill, a 30 minute waiting time with small children is unfortunately not enough. You have to get up and leave before you can get your wish for the bill fulfilled. Drink prices normal. Please do not choose the so-called garlic bread for starters. No garlic present. More like a dry herb baked roll for €4. Price/performance School grade Sufficient Unfortunately, criticism is met with a lack of understanding in the form of unfriendliness. According to the motto, we'll probably never see walk-in customers again anyway. More staff is definitely needed during the season.

Really tasty food, although relatively small portions for an expensive price. The warm starters and salads in particular are very expensive and few. The meat dishes were good and the drink prices were normal. The service staff were friendly, but you had to help with serving and clearing away the drinks and food. The atmosphere was nice, but not particularly comfortable. We paid around €30 per person. Tip: as a vegetarian you can only eat starters, side dishes and salads.

It was very busy and we waited outside the restaurant. The service was attentive, so the wait wasn't that long. After ordering the food, the food is delivered extremely quickly. So fast that it was there before our drinks. I think that, given the number of guests, it is hardly possible other than to prepare everything. The food itself was very tasty

Yesterday the lady who missed her job as a waitress was rude and almost scolded. The reason was our dog buggy. This would get in the way...note that we and two other guests were the only customers on the terrace. We then got up and spent our money somewhere else. We cannot recommend this store. Very Rude!!! Glad you can remember that. So you can definitely remember your key... but it doesn't matter, your reputation is increasingly in decline anyway. As you hear from many vacationers.

I had dinner here with my best friend and we were both very satisfied. The waitresses are all competent, humorous, friendly and work quickly. We had drinks and our food in record time, which was fresh and delicious. The price is right too; Price performance is good. Since my best friend had the Crete offer, I immediately got an ouzo (for free). Vacation is definitely fun like this :). So gladly again.

The atmosphere was very nice and the service was incredibly friendly. Unfortunately there wasn't a single (!!!) main course without meat. We know this better from other Greek restaurants. And they didn't accept any card payment except the German card.

The gratinated gyros with feta cheese tastes delicious! The two homemade sauces for the dishes are not available anywhere else. The entire team at the restaurant is extremely friendly and takes great care to ensure that every guest is satisfied. I enjoy coming here every year and can only recommend it.

Food was good and arrived quickly, even though it was busy. Help was quickly provided with a few slices of bread to bridge the waiting time for the hungry children. The only thing that is always a shame is why the terrace is equipped with the simplest tables and chairs.

Today we had dinner at Crete in Grömitz for the first time. (2 adults and 1 child) Super delicious Greek cuisine. We were there for lunch and were still very full in the evening. Keep it up.......

The drinks came quickly and the food was ready quickly and was very tasty! The portions were good. There is also a good selection for children. So absolutely recommended!

Friendly, very attentive and fast service, good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices, very tasty gyros and large enough portions to fill you up. Some dishes are also offered as “senior portions” - another plus point for the restaurant. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back :-)

The grill plate from the lunch menu is really good. The portion is sufficient. The restaurant is a bit dark. Only partially recommended for guests with disabilities. The tables and chairs in the interior are quite narrow. A little better on the outside.
