The food was not like what I actually know from Greek Service was great

Rarely have I had such good Greek food 👍 The bread and the dressing on the salad were homemade. Simply delicious 😋 We had grill plate 56 with liver, everything was perfectly seasoned and grilled, the suflaki wasn't fried to death, great, keep it up. The service was also very nice and always tried to look after our well-being, thank you, we felt very comfortable. On our next stay in Grömitz we will visit the SYRTAKI restaurant again.😊

The meal was excellent. The starter (garlic baguette with various dips) tasted very good. My gyros with mushrooms were perfectly prepared. Very tasty and rich. The staff was friendly. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. All around a lovely evening. I'll definitely eat here again on my next vacation. Highly recommended!

World class food, great service and perfect value for money. 3 years later and still perfect!

We (2 adults + 2 children) received a very friendly welcome and were served very quickly despite the restaurant being full. The food was very good. What really stands out here is the friendliness and the atmosphere. We really liked the family atmosphere. Recommended!

Very good Greek cuisine with not the usual overcrowded plates. The taste is very good and there is something for everyone. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Very nice facility. On the second visit I chose gyros and was so disappointed, a bit dry and dark meat. On the plates that came out of the kitchen later, the meat was very light and had larger pieces. One had the impression that we were there too early, a shame.

We are now in Grömitz several times a year and a visit to the Syrtaki restaurant is always part of it. The food is very tasty and the portions are quite generous, so you don't need a starter to fill you up. Price/performance is absolutely right here. For us the best Greek in Grömitz!

Sat down with a huge hunger. Nice greeting, saying it would take some time. But then... I ordered the same food 4 times, he said yes but ordered the drinks first, ok drinks. We wanted another portion of fries 🍟because it was supposed to take a while, but it was gone so quickly and didn't come back. So ordered from the waitress walking past + ketchup and mayonnaise. Drinks went quickly and portions of fries arrived. Ketchup and mayo, just before the fries 🍟 were empty. After about 40 minutes we asked how long the food would last and only got a cheeky answer that we hadn't even ordered yet 😳. Find the mistake... Further answer from the waiter: since when would you order food before drinks???🤔 Without words, we would have to wait at least another 30 minutes. Invoice requested, done and gone. No apology, nothing, just the cheeky answers and then ketchup and mayonnaise were charged at €0.40 each! We have never experienced this in a restaurant. Was the first and last time!

Ein sehr netter und aufmerksamer Chef, dessen Interesse am Gast wirklich echt ist. Auch alle anderen Mitarbeiter/-innen sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Portionen recht groß. Individuelle Wünsche werden notiert und umgesetzt. Geschmacklich war auch alles prima, so dass man das Restaurant auf jeden Fall empfehlen kann. Auffällig waren überdies zwei Aspekte: 1.) das Restaurant hat augenscheinlich viele Stammgäste 2.) es werden auch sehr viele Essen zum Abholen bestellt Preislich absolut marktüblich. Wir kommen sicherlich nochmal wieder.

Attentive and friendly staff. Gyros with fries and souflaki with fries were very tasty and plentiful. We can fully recommend it!

Locally quite. On Saturday evening we easily got a table for two people without making a reservation. Fast and friendly service. Unfortunately, the meat (gyros, steak and suvlaki) was past the cooking point and the meat was therefore very dry.

Nicht zu empfehlen. Selten so ein schlechtes Gyros gegessen. Auch der Fleischspiess war knochentrocken. Der Chef war sehr unfreundlich und für Kritik absolut nicht empfänglich. Im Gegenteil, er wurde den Gästen gegenüber ausfallend. Ein weiteres Manko war das Kartenzahlung nicht möglich war. In der heutigen Zeit unmöglich !!

The food in the Syrtaki restaurant is delicious, but the staff is very unfriendly. The service is bad.

Eating in the garden area on the street. Attentive and quick service. The beef liver with whole mushrooms with rice and zatziki. Plus a small side salad. Basis: three thin, heavily roasted but very tender slices of beef liver. It tasted excellent despite (or because of?) the strong roasting. The zatziki dip, like the rice, was sparingly measured. With an extra portion of rice brought promptly, I left the syrtaki feeling delicious and well-sated. There was also an ouzo on the house with the bill.

We were there spontaneously. You can sit outside very comfortably. When we came in we were greeted by a service employee who seemed very stressed, even though it was early and not that busy. At the table we were served very friendly and courteously by an employee. The food was great. Price performance is also absolutely recommended

The best Greek restaurant in Grömitz! When we are on vacation we eat there several times. The dishes are very tasty and also really great value for money. Highly recommended: three homemade dips, all the grill plates, bifteki or the grilled salmon (two really big pieces of salmon!). The salad served with the dishes has a delicious homemade dressing! The waitresses there are all very nice and attentive. The owner always takes time for his guests. Freshness, quality and service are very important here!!! We always enjoy coming back.

The atmosphere is pleasant and well decorated, the menu offers a good selection of dishes and drinks. The service was good and the owners were friendly.

Wir haben lange nicht mehr so gut griechisch gegessen. Es war sehr, sehr gut. Außerdem sind wir von einer sehr netten Bedienung hervorragend bewirtet worden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

The staff was friendly. The food was also delicious, the fries would have needed a few more minutes then they would have been crispier. The only thing that wasn't so good was the long waiting time. It took about 35 minutes before we could order the drinks; we were only allowed to order the food when the drinks were at the table. Organization of the entire process needs improvement. It was a pleasant 2 hours.

Went there for the first time since we were in Grömitz. And we all really enjoyed and enjoyed it. Service top. The food was great and the ambience was great too. What more could you want on vacation!!! We'd love to come back!!

A very good Greek with delicious food.

Although we hadn't reserved a table, we were quickly assigned one, the food was great, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Since it was a little fuller, it was immediately pointed out that it might take a little longer, but everything was at the table in no time at all :). We would love to come here again!

We made a reservation and it worked very well. Eaten deliciously. We were there with 6 people and 3 children and I think paying €0.50 for a bag of ketchup is a rip-off, it shouldn't be. A bottle of ketchup would do the trick and you don't have to pay for 6-8 bags

Food was ok, but over-baked fillet in a dented metal bowl/pan, for the price...well. Cutlery, lots of forks with crooked tines!?! I'm no longer on maneuvers with the Bundeswehr!

Ribbon noodles in herb cream sauce with vegetables and fresh mushrooms, the only thing that was edible were the mushrooms, otherwise everything was gone, had to run after the salt, which was still in the original packaging. (plastic container) By vegetables they meant 2 small green pepper cubes and a red one. My wife's gyros was cut so small that you didn't have to chew anymore, you just had to swallow, unfortunately it got stuck in your throat because it was too dry. It tasted like frozen food, not fresh. Special requests, such as a 0.5 liter in 2 glasses, were not possible and because we didn't want ouzo, there was nothing at all. The argument after our complaint was that they mostly have old people as guests and they prefer to season their own food. Never again “My cream sauce at home tastes better.

It was really delicious, very plentiful, pretty quick and really nice. The price-performance ratio is very good. The only drawback: no card payment possible.

Friendly hosts and great service. As a vegetarian you have a rather small selection of main dishes in many Greek restaurants, but they usually taste very good. I ordered the pasta with fried mushrooms here. The mushrooms were absolutely delicious and fit perfectly into the dish. The portion was also very good, I was pretty full afterwards :) In general, I found the stay very pleasant and will definitely come back again.

Good afternoon, I had to let this experience on December 30th, 2023 sink in... I reserved a table for 5 people at 7 p.m. the day before. It worked and the anticipation grew... On the evening in question we were there on time and were assigned a table... We thought it would work... There wasn't much going on in the restaurant! After 10 minutes of waiting someone came and brought the menu... Ordered a drink a short time later. Then starters and our selection of dishes. Drinks came relatively quickly, then the appetizer... At around 7:50 p.m. a salad that was hardly eaten... we had to send three of them back... Ordered 2 new wheat beers...our food arrived at 8:05 p.m.... As I said: the store was almost empty! 2 x Giros...meat was raw And not through The other 3 meals lukewarm to cold... We told the landlady that none of this was acceptable! She offered us that we didn't have to pay for the 2 Giros, my wife only paid half... As a first apology, an ouzo from the chef, 2 small bottles of wine from the boss and our bill of 85 euros (for subterranean service and food) an ouzo... It was a real drag for us this evening. You're looking forward to a nice evening and then something like this happens... As if someone wanted to fool us with the hidden camera... I have never experienced anything like this in my entire life...

Very cozy restaurant with delicious food. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio is great, I've rarely eaten such delicious fries...the boss and service are very nice, friendly and accommodating...dogs are welcome...👍👍gladly again

First meal was super tasty. Great ambience and the food was super tasty. 2 adults with 2 children with starter about 110€ The portions were enough and we strolled home feeling full. Service very friendly. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back next year

Nice and attentive service. Very good food, not too spicy, like many other Greek restaurants. The homemade tzatziki, the home-baked bread and the biftiki are highly recommended. From our experience, the ambience corresponds to the taverns in Greece, a bit simpler.

Essen war ok. Der Aussenbereich ist direkt an der Hauptstraße, das ist nicht so idyllisch.

Freundliche und kompetente Bedienung die sehr aufmerksam sind. Wir hatten mehrere Vorspeisen und dann jeweils ein Hauptgericht, das verbringen der Gerichte war zur Vorspeise gut getimet. Für das was wir alles gegessen haben, stimmen die Preise auf jedenfall. Wir können das Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen und würden auch wieder dort essen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant! Wir wurden direkt am Anfang sehr nett begrüßt und haben auch sofort die Speisekarten bekommen. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und die Portionen sind sehr groß, vorallem für den Preis. Auch die Bedingung war sehr nett und ein Uso gab es zum Abschied auch noch. Ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen wirklich gar nicht verstehen, wir werden wieder kommen!

Sehr gutes Essen, riesen Portionen zu guten Preisen. Wir waren das erste mal hier und waren total begeistert. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Rentiert sich in Grömitz die Griechen zu vergleichen!!!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und an unseren Tisch geleitet. Das Essen kam trotz sehr starkem Betrieb an diesem Abend recht schnell und der Service war stets zuvorkommend. Die Portionen waren mehr als reichhaltig und es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch die Getränke sind sehr gepflegt. Wir würden das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne noch einmal hierhin zurück. Eine Tischreservierung ist zu empfehlen.

Das Essen war in Ordnung leider war es kein richtiger Grieche. Es gab keine Knoblauchkartoffeln und die Portion Zaziki war recht klein trotzdem hat es soweit geschmeckt. Kartenzahlung war nicht möglich was echt schade ist.

Große Auswahl an Essen und Getränken. Das Essen war gut und ausreichend, wobei das Kindergericht wohl nur für kleine Kinder ausreicht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, auch und insbesondere dem Nachwuchs gegenüber.

Wir waren als Familie da mit 2 kleinen Kindern und kommen aus Frankfurt. So nett und lieb zu den Kindern habe ich selten gesehen. Essen auch mega lecker und nicht teuer. Sehr sehr zu empfehlen!!!!

Wir waren zu viert da (Eltern, 2 Kleinkinder) Uns wurde direkt Kinderbesteck und Hochstuhl angeboten. Das Essen der Kinder wurde uns auch direkt beim Bestellen angeboten es mit der Vorspeise zu servieren. Ohne ein Wort wurden uns zusätzliche Servietten gebracht... und die hatten wir auch nötig 😅 Der Vorspeisensalat war gut. Der Gyros mit frischen Pilzen war super gewürzt und vom Drehspieß geschnitten. Das Bifteki reichlich und hatte neben dem Feta noch zusätzlich Gauda mit drin. Der Reis war ok, schmeckte quasi wie bei uns zu Hause. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. 1 Vorspeise, 2 Hauptgerichte, 1 Kindergericht und 3 große Getränke für knapp 55€ ist absolut angemessen, vorallem für Grömitz.
