Takeaway with no seating area, the pita wasn't crispy, sauce was a paste, fries were greasy and spicy, Never again

I ordered a portion of pita gyros, incredibly poor quality. The fries were not fresh, old and sticky. The gyro had way too many turns on the spit. Partly burnt and dry and tough. As a side dish, 3 small pieces of tomatoes. Lowest quality. I would advise anyone not to buy food there

Unbeatable value for money, huge portion and great quality. We went there twice in one week because we were so excited.

Very tasty pita for 7 euros, more than filling, Aperol for 6 euros great, nice snack atmosphere, we'll be back. All the criticism here is absolutely incomprehensible.

We were there again after years, unfortunately not to our satisfaction. A (small) portion of warmed pasta with a purchased ready-made sauce and half a liter of water for just under €10 is unfortunately overpriced.

We both got a pita giros, which for €7 is almost a full dinner. Nice giros and the added fries in the pita are a nice touch. Only tip: The fries could be a little crunchier if they were fried just a little longer.

Highly recommended near the beach. The pita gyros 7 euros is a large bite of good quality. Friendly service, so if you are looking for something tasty, don't just pass by this Greek.

The food and service is not recommended. I was there last night, the portions are measly, the price is too high and it didn't take long until I had to visit the quiet place several times.

Very unfriendly when ordering, the food was unseasoned and had little to do with Greek, below average snack bar...

There's nothing to complain about, I can highly recommend the Greeks.

Went to Glowe for a week and ate here twice. Chicken pita and fries both delicious. Even if €7 for pita and €4 for fries are quite a lot. But unfortunately that's how it is these days...

Everything was great 👍, we've been to the stand several times now and it's always delicious! I like crispy gyros and not limp ones. This is also authentically cut with a knife! Extra requests were promptly fulfilled. Yes, €12 for a gyro plate isn't the cheapest, but what tourist center is that! We'll be back 👌

Overpriced children's portion, it wasn't anything else. 13.90€ for gyros with fries for menu 1. Flabby fries, with very little meat (by little I mean little), some coleslaw from the Netto. It was so little that it wouldn't even pass as a children's portion... what a disgrace. Due overpriced and finished snot from the discount store. Thank you, never again.

YUMMY! The negative comments are complete misinformation. The Pita Gyros costs €7 and is really big! There is enough sauce, meat, onions and tomatoes on it. There is absolutely no reason to complain. The prices mentioned here in the negative comments are not correct. I'm not a bad eater and I DIDN'T finish the pita. The fries are seasoned so deliciously. We liked it so much that we took a third pita with us. You can sit anywhere and the two gentlemen in the booth were very friendly. Extra requests are not an issue. Here’s another photo as proof! Go there, it tastes really good.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right at all. If I pay €12.90 for a plate of gyros at a snack bar, you can actually expect that it will fill you up. Portion size far too small for the price. The taste was okay. At 6:30 p.m. there was nothing left other than the aforementioned gyro plate or pita.

My dear Schollie. A committed salesperson is not everything. In principle, I don't write negative reviews. Today I'll make an exception: We arrived at the food court hungry. Today the “Greek” should prove his skills. The man really failed with his food. For a double dumpling with cold fries, a hint of tomato, onion rings and, oh yes, a hint of meat. The crowning glory was a greasy paste (cheese?). All this for the price of €10.90. Thanks. But people never stop learning. You shouldn't hope for stupid vacationers at this stand. Just get better!

Schön auf diesem "Marktplatz" bei schönem Wetter. Man kann nur draußen sitzen!

Essen gut, Besitzer freundlich. Preise aber schon recht teuer und leider kein Bier.

Alles io. Preise sind völlig in Ordnung.

Wir haben uns an allen Ständen, die auf der Promenade Pommes anbieten angestellt und Pommes rot/weiß bestellt. Geschmacklich Schnitt dieser Stand am Besten ab, Bedienung war schnell. Nur etwas mehr Ketchup/Mayo hätte es sein können.

Waren dieses Jahr in unserem Urlaub mehrfach bei "Der Grieche" essen, Speisen waren immer wieder sehr lecker besonders Nummer 8👍, Personal ist freundlich und immer gut gelaunt.

Hab mich übereden lassen (was ein Fehler war), da zu essen. Obwohl ich kein grosser Fan der griechischen Küche bin. Mich hat leider rein gar nix überzeugen können, statt Gyros, hätte ich auch auf einem Löschblatt kauen können, oder auch dünnen Holzplättchen. Musste wohl noch weg, war ja bald Feierabend. Fazit: Brauch ich nicht noch einmal

Gyrosteller mit Pommes Nr. 5 jetzt stattliche 12,50 €. Das ist es nicht wert. So ein Tellerchen höchstens 9 €, mehr aber auch nicht. Finde die Preissteigerung innerh. 1 Jahr von 8,90 auf 12,50 mehr als unverschämt. Naja muss da nicht mehr hingehen. Und geschmacklich hat sich nichts geändert.

Super gelegen, an einer kleinen "Fressmeile" direkt am Strandanfang. Habe einen Pita Gyros für 6€ bestellt. Auf jeden Fall kann ich sagen, ich bin nach 7 Stunden immernoch pappsatt!!! Und ich habe den nicht voll aufessen können! Geschmeckt hat das Essen ganz hervorragend. Alles bestens mit dem Fleisch und der Pita. Für einen kleinen Snack zwischendurch bekommt man ordentlich was auf die Hand. Also ich zumindest kann es nur empfehlen!

Lecker aber ein bisschen teurer als üblich. Aber wenn man den Fisch mal satt hat eine schmackhafte Alternative.
