Hello and Ciao from Glowe As with some others (you can read), the WAITING is one of the 2 small negative points I can give. This refers to the abundance in this restaurant. Well attended is an understatement. Not possible in large groups without pre-ordering. A table of 2 or 4 may work with a waiting time. Service is OK to good (too busy), they make an effort. Nevertheless, a drink order sometimes slips back or is forgotten. A little tip on the side... always let 1 person go to the bar and 1 person always go for drinks. But so far everything is okay 👍🏻😃 To eat 😁🍷 Mega portions and very tasty, fresh, plentiful 😋 really great. At today's prices it should be that way. That's why I'm on vacation and I also enjoy feasting. For my taste there is a little too little garlic in some dishes (ordered straight away) but that can also be tolerated/represented. Conclusion, yes we will come back and book a table in advance. 😉🥂 I also read (in other reviews) that the tables are too narrow. Yup! I can pass it on like this. Then it gets very loud in the restaurant and you can also hear one or two things from the neighboring table. Cannot be avoided. LG until next time

The food itself was okay. The service is mediocre but acceptable. On the other hand, I found the atmosphere took some getting used to, not to mention quite uncomfortable. What won't work in 2025 is the fact that you can't pay by card. There is an ATM right next to the entrance where you can withdraw money for exorbitant fees. Basically an impudence.

The tables are far too close, with people waiting in between. 7 p.m. rush hour, our order was taken after half an hour. Then another 1/2 hour until the food came. But that was delicious. The final grappa was nice too

We were in this restaurant for the first time today. The first impression is actually very nice. But when we arrived we had to wait until our reserved table became available and then we didn't even get a clean table. What actually annoyed me the most was that we had to wait over 2 hours for our food. People who came later than us got their food shortly afterwards. When we spoke to the staff we received our food shortly afterwards. If it hadn't come, we would have gotten up and left. I don't think we will visit this restaurant again.

Unfortunately, I didn't like the food that much. It was very boring, the taste was missing. The service was always very nice and quick. The price/performance ratio of the food doesn't suit me at all.

The food is really incredibly tasty and is beautifully prepared. It also happened very quickly. The service was absolutely top. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back when we vacation here again! 👍🏼☺️

Since the restaurant on the opposite side of the street didn't have to adhere to agreements or reservations, we ended up in this beautiful restaurant. We received a very warm welcome, the drinks arrived within five minutes and the food was served quickly and was delicious. Thank you for that. We'll definitely come back.

We ordered the pizzas over the phone and had a very friendly person on the phone who took our order. Our pizzas were ready at the agreed time and tasted delicious - the dough was perfect and the toppings were also very good. There could have been a little more salmon on the #91, but that's complaining at a high level. We were very satisfied and would like to come back.

Shells were grottoes bad. Firstly, they were cold, secondly, they were still sandy and with beard. They only tasted like wine. A lot of the mussels were broken. No taste of its own. The penne al forno was warm but... Five peas exactly, neither was the ham, let alone the mushrooms. Not recommended

It's an expensive pleasure there. The waitress wasn't very talkative and the pizza... well, that's how it goes. It also took a very long time for the food to arrive. There was an ice cream counter at the exit, the ice cream looked older.

A great pizzaria! You have to be there to know what taste is all about! The creativity the employees put into themselves is amazing! If this delicious pizzeria cared as much about the preparation of the food as it did against all the reviews with one or two stars, you could even write: great! A pizza for 18€ must be delicious 😇

Good standard Italian cuisine (we had very good Pizza Capriciosa), but at comparatively over-ambitious prices. Service friendly but not overly committed. Annoying: card payment is not possible despite the steep prices - instead you are referred to an expensive EC machine right next to the entrance... you don't have to have one. Very busy, for low season, but only until 8:00 p.m., then relaxed

The service was quick and also friendly. We all enjoyed the food too. What doesn't fit at all is the price-performance ratio. For example, I had gnocchi. They definitely weren't homemade, they were delicious, but I think 17 euros is way too much for some gnocchi with tomato sauce. My son really wanted croquettes as a side dish. Eight croquettes cost €8.90, unbelievable! They were normal frozen croquettes, nothing special. The pizzas were also far above the prices you would find in pizzerias. That's why we wouldn't come back, the ambience is quite nice, but nothing special either, so the high prices are not justified. In addition, card payments were not possible.

A very nice restaurant. The atmosphere is well furnished, but there are also tables in the front area, at the entrance, and people are constantly walking there (picking up food), which can be very annoying. We booked a table for 6:30 p.m., our starter came at 7 p.m. and our main course came around 7:30 p.m. Overall, I would say that a visit to the restaurant is worth it because of the delicious food. The service isn't overwhelming... the waitress walks around in sweatpants and you barely know which brand of beer is coming out of the tap... not to mention which brands the bottled beers are. The pizza wasn't that good either, a bit poor for the price, but the taste was ok. What is not acceptable at all is that NO card payment was possible. There was no sign to be seen, on the contrary there was a small sign “ec cash” on the entrance door. It was also not stated when ordering that card payment was not possible. Something like that is not acceptable... The last time I was in this restaurant was because the price-performance ratio and service didn't match.

Wonderful and stylishly furnished restaurant...You are warmly welcomed and served...We ate there and also ordered to be picked up - everything was great The pizza and pasta dishes were very good. Definitely a place to go again on our next vacation. It is a very busy restaurant and that speaks for itself😊

Food was ok, nothing more and less, what we didn't like at all was how we were treated as guests, the table behind the pillar right next to the cutlery tray even though there were other seats available, and the price was a bit high for a simple pizza

The order to pick up was ready quickly but that's the only positive thing... the salami pizza and lasagna were both really bad. Pizza totally dry and carelessly topped, lasagna could be described as soup, tastes better from any supermarket. Absolute disappointment and that at the prices... never again!!

We ordered pizzas to pick up. The pizzas were so tasty. Unfortunately very crispy and thinly topped. Little selection of pizzas and not exactly described what is on the pizzas. Unfortunately, no card payment is possible either. BUT delicious and no stomach ache!

Chic and expensive.... In my opinion there is a wide gap between the price and performance ratio.

The food is OK, but the poor service makes it irrelevant. 2 male waiters (head waiter + bartender) are very slow in their work, a female waiter tries to compensate for this with a lot of effort but is overwhelmed by the number of guests.

Sitting in the middle of the aisle, people picking up their own past the table every minute, everything took a very long time and the lasagne was just a minced meat sauce!!!

Unfortunately it wasn't a pleasant visit. Flowers on the table were withered, the bottom tablecloth was wet and a dirty one was placed over it. There were 4 tables full and we had to wait almost an hour for our pizza, which was lukewarm, but the prices are higher than at others nearby. Praise goes to the friendly staff, hence 2 stars.

Nice Italian restaurant. Had a very good meal there. The food came to the table hot, the portions were reasonable and, most importantly, it tasted incredibly delicious. Therefore, a clear recommendation!!

In the outdoor area the tables are quite close together, which is very annoying when eating. It's positive that you can also take your dog into the restaurant. The negative thing is the extremely long wait for food. If you order something other than pizza you will have to wait an hour for your food. My wife ordered king prawns and we waited 2 hours for it, despite repeated requests and there wasn't even an apology.

Food was good. Unfortunately, I felt like I was in a large cafeteria on the terrace. The noise was very unpleasant, probably due to the fact that the tables were very close to each other.

The positive preceded: The Jägerschnitzel was absolutely ok. The side dish chosen (and requested in advance) was not on the plate, but the croquettes were still very tasty. The cola wasn't sufficiently carbonated, but the beer was tasty. The chicken was pretty dead and very flat / the sauce - just like the schnitzel - was delicious. The very loud cooling of the counter unfortunately rounded off the overall impression. Somehow the vocal construct didn't seem very Italian to me.

We found the price-performance ratio to be very inadequate. The food is nothing special and not loving and tastes quite neutral. The service was in great need of improvement (speed, friendliness, attention, hospitality). The atmosphere didn't seem Italian to us either. We waited 1.5 hours for our food at a restaurant that wasn't busy. Then another dish was forgotten. When asked, they asked for 2 minutes of patience and after 20 minutes nothing had happened. Then the wrong dish came to the table. No apology, no accommodation, nothing. Very disappointing.

An idyllic Italian restaurant with great attention to detail. Although it is located on the main street, it is still quiet. The food is very authentic and the portions are sufficient. Unfortunately, the pleasure is not a bargain. A large parking lot and a toilet are available.

We were in Glowe with the whole family for my 60th birthday and had dinner at an Italian restaurant. The Italian dishes with pasta were OK, but I treated myself to a piece of beef steak, which I wanted MEDIUM, and after 1 hour a shoe sole was delivered, through! The service was also a long time coming, waiting times were above average, could be because I only saw one person in service. The atmosphere is pleasant! However, I can't give this more than 2 stars because of that! SORRY!

The food wasn't good, my partner's pizza was ok. My pizza was cold if not lukewarm. The service was not well organized. Despite a reservation, the place was not prepared and was more like a small cat table on the edge. The brusceta were just ok. I cannot recommend the restaurant.

Top, everything was great and great food

The service this evening seemed stressed and restless but the food was great, prices are of no interest to us, mainly it tastes good 😄

It looked nice outside, but we sat inside because of the weather. The ambience is generally okay, but a little more love could have been put into the decoration and furnishings. The service was ok, we didn't have to deal with the staff more than necessary. The food was just about average, don't expect a taste explosion here. A few more spices would be good for the dishes. For the price I would have expected more.

I ordered a tuna pizza and bitterly regretted it. A few hours after consumption, severe diarrhea and vomiting began. Histamine poisoning is the only explanation. The symptoms clearly indicate massive hygiene deficiencies when handling tuna. Such conditions are completely unacceptable in a restaurant. I definitely won't visit this place again and strongly advise anyone not to eat here. The holiday on Rügen was ruined by this restaurant.

Very tasty food. However, for an Italian it is comparatively expensive. Most main courses cost from 20 euros. The portions are plenty. The drinks are also rather expensive. I recommend taking advantage of the lunch specials (until 3 p.m.).

Typical Italian restaurant. Fast and friendly service. Portions are sufficient and our dishes were very tasty. Gladly again.

We were there right at 11 - which is great for us because very few people have lunch at 11 (but if the kids are awake at 5, they're hungry at 11) so there's free choice of seating. The service was quick and friendly, the portions were a good size and very tasty. There was even a little something extra for the kids. We can only recommend it.

This whole evening was a complete disgrace! I was with my wife next door in the Indian restaurant (which is part of this restaurant). After I ordered a mediocre dish for a relatively large amount of money and asked about the toilets, I was told that there were no toilets in this restaurant and that I had to go to the building next door. The sanitary facilities there were relatively dirty. But you couldn't dry your hands because the paper towel dispenser wasn't full. The whole program for €58! No lie: I've never experienced anything like that!

Never again !! We ordered pasta and lasagne to pick up, everything was ready for pick up after 20 minutes. The pasta was far from Italian food. The lasagne (lukewarm) was swimming in fat and consisted of 80 percent bubblegum-like cheese. Minced meat and lasagne sheets could only be guessed at, there was no béchamel sauce, the taste was a smooth 6 - a disgrace for €18.90. Last but not least, my wife thought about the pasta again late in the evening...

The pasta with our dishes didn't taste like anything, it was definitely missing salt. The veal fillet was okay, the noodles tossed in sage could only be eaten with the sauce. The forest mushrooms were just soggy. My girlfriend had tagliatelle in gorgonzola spinach sauce. There was also no salt on the pasta. The toilets could be cleaner. Why are the cleaning products lying around? Other guests around us waited 1.5 hours for their food and were, understandably, angry and dissatisfied. The service was simply too little and too slow. It could also be cleaner, especially outside. The prices on the ice cream menu are a disgrace, 12 euros for an ice cream sundae is crazy. Not recommended!!!

The order was taken quickly, but I still hadn't had the food (a portion of pasta and a pizza) after an hour. So unfortunately I can't say what the food was like.

It took a long time to take the order until the food arrived, but over an hour. The pizza was okay, the saltimbocca was covered in an indefinable mush. The vegetables were fresh but very oily. With two beers and a wine spritzer, the price of over EUR 70.00 was far too much. Not recommended.

Good cuisine, is recommended. However, the knives require a lot of effort when cutting pizza. Sharpening the knives is urgently necessary.

A lot of time passed before a person came to take the drink order and we could also order food. Of the starters, of the bruschetta, only one slice was toasted, all the others weren't, and the taste wasn't great either. Spices were also saved on the fish soup. The main course on all plates had a lot of leaf salad as a garnish, every meal lacked seasoning, no taste, you ordered vegetables as a side dish, which also had potatoes that you already had as a side dish with your plate. The vegetables were overcooked and not really seasoned. Toilets weren't clean either.

The staff is understaffed, and sometimes someone has to help out at the ice cream truck. Food was very simply prepared and not understandable for the price category. Waited 40 minutes for the food, another 20 minutes until we paid after the plates were empty and cleared away. Pizza is a lot of cheese about nothing.

The pizzeria is nicely decorated, with seating inside and outside. The staff was friendly, but also seemed very stressed. Unfortunately we had to wait an hour for the food. It was warm and tasted good.

Was there for the third time now, had very good ice cream again.

We were there for the second time yesterday and were actually looking forward to it because it was very nice the last time. Children had pizza and pasta which was just about ok with the waiting time. But the fact that you have to wait almost an hour for an actual starter and that the service staff notify you three times tops everything Even the bill took almost 3/4 hour. If we weren't properly behaved, we and the table next door would have simply left. The whole thing was very chaotic. We are really disappointed 😞. Not even an apology or anything on the house as compensation. I prefer not to mention the toilet. It's all a shame.

Unfortunately we didn't get to taste the food. In the evening around 7:30 p.m. we were in the restaurant and were able to take a seat outside. The table was still full of leftover dishes from the previous guests. This was totally ignored and so were we. It was very crowded, many guests stared questioningly at the waiter, who had probably been waiting for their food for a long time. 2 waiters who served guests, one for drinks... definitely not enough in the high season!!! We left again without eating.

Service was friendly... we had to wait over an hour for the food and the taste wasn't great. All in all - 6 points out of 10.

Very dirty. The toilet was already completely dirty at 12 p.m. when it opened. Terrace hasn't been swept for ages. There is rubbish on the floor. Very expensive. Food was nothing special. We had a pizza and two pasta. It took 55 minutes since we were all alone. Really not recommended!

Update 07/2024: Again we were spontaneous, with a quick reservation by phone. The quality of the food and the hospitality has not diminished. Sure, prices have risen like everywhere else. For a freshly tapped 0.5 liter Pils you pay €5.90 - at least half a liter...😊 The pizzas start at €15 This time our son had lasagna, which was also delicious😋 For comparison, the photos from this year and last year...same size and quality👍🏻 We will be happy to come back! Summer 2023: Spontaneously making a reservation while on the go was better that way. After us, guests unfortunately had to switch to pizza to go. The restaurant was very busy, which didn't cause any problems for the staff. We received a very friendly welcome, the waitresses supported each other and were always courteous. The food was on the table after a few minutes and was very tasty. At 32 cm, the pizzas were sufficiently large and special requests were happy to be fulfilled. We weren't sitting at the most comfortable table because the pizzas we picked up all walked past us, but we didn't plan on staying any longer either. There are quieter seats at the back of the restaurant. The outdoor area is large and even heated. The tables were clean and the sanitary facilities were impeccable. My family doesn't think the partial deductions in the reviews are justified. As is the case everywhere, the prices are inflationary but are appropriate for the service and quality. Tourist trap! Carbonara with kitchen cream for €17.90

Waiting time was short, pizza was ok, but a bit bland. However, the prices are very steep. €14.95 for a Margherita is already close to the limit...

Ordered a cocktail which came, Cola with rum. Because the menu wasn't updated. It can happen sometimes. I got the cocktail I originally ordered and only had to pay for the coke. I thought it was okay. Overall, the food was okay, except that various fish were not prepared properly. There was also quite a lot going on that day. I wouldn't go there to eat anymore, I'd just order pizza.

Nice Italian. The order was taken quickly. Drinks arrived within 5 minutes. The house bonus was olives and bread. Ordering food was also quick and we didn't have to wait long. Pizzas are very large, pasta seemed very little at the beginning, but we were proven wrong because we were pretty full of pasta afterwards🤪. Very nicely presented on the plate and the water bottles also looked quite elegant. All in all a nice, very tasty Italian visit.

The child had a craving for pizza but could never finish a whole pizza. Upon request, the pizza was split, 1/2 with salami and 1/2 with tuna. Super accommodating. Beautiful patio, flower pots painted in Italian colors and beautifully planted, fresh flowers on the table, ice cream in many variations. The price was also okay (I paid the price for tuna pizza for the pizza, which is okay for me). The pizza was delicious. It was a cozy meal and then we went to the water playground next to it.

Absolutely world class, the service, the food, everything. You will never find such a good Italian in Italy. Absolute recommendation! Visiting with a dog is no problem at all!
