Delicious food, nice service, we'll be back and have been there again now.

Very nice contact on the phone to reserve the table. Everyone there was friendly and the food was really good. Thank you for the lovely evening and the nice hospitality. There was a rolled roast, classic schnitzel and finally a delicious crème brulee. And a small burning delicious fisherman's spirit.

We went there to eat and were moderately at peace. The tomato soup tasted more like pasta sauce and the main course wasn't great either. You couldn't decide on the furnishings, on the one hand it was part of a tavern and in the middle there was always American knick-knacks. The service was quite good.

We don't know the hotel or room. We only tested the restaurant. The friendly and attentive welcome was immediately noticeable. The food wasn't great but it was tasty. Starter salad was great! Fast and timely process. Location conveys a cozy and warm atmosphere.

Good rooms at a reasonable rate. Breakfast was sufficient, good quality, only the coffee was more suitable for pensioners 😉. The dinner was very tasty and the portions were large enough. All in all, we were very satisfied.

We wanted to have dinner in the restaurant with four people and our dog. We were there the day before and said that it was important to us to get a table on the edge for the dog's sake and we got one reserved. Today when we arrived at the restaurant on time, everything looked different. Our promised table was occupied. When we asked, we were told it would take a few minutes. No problem... so we went for another little walk. When we arrived again after another 20 minutes, our table was still occupied by the same guests who continued to order diligently. All we got was the information... something must have gone wrong and we can put it in the middle. This is what it looks like when you no longer seem to need it. We won't be coming back again. It's a shame actually.

During our short vacation we were guests at the Gasthaus Zur Schaabe. The menu had something for every taste and the food was very tasty. The service was very friendly and in a good mood. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the generous portions and the atmosphere seems inviting to us. However, a reservation is recommended as the restaurant is very busy, especially during the main meals. We will definitely come back on our next vacation.

Very good cuisine and service on point

We were on vacation here for a week. The room was functional. I am lactose intolerant and gluten intolerant. The inn is not prepared for this. I had my own breakfast (rolls, spread) with me, at the end of the trip I was charged for the full breakfast, which I didn't think was right.

We went to the restaurant for dinner in the afternoon, so there weren't many people at the time. The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious and a good portion. Our dog was allowed into the restaurant and we could park right in front of the door.

We were “only” in the restaurant. It was super tasty. The kids and we were very happy. The schnitzel with fries and fried potatoes and also the mushroom soup were delicious. We stayed from October 9th to October 12th as I was a wheelchair user and my wife was very enthusiastic about this accommodation and we have booked for next year in August. We had dinner there and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. We had two different schnitzel dishes and once the seasonal offer braised cabbage. The braised cabbage was more like a children's/senior citizen portion. According to the menu, the pork schnitzel was supposed to come with steakhouse fries, but they were more like wavy cut fries. The pork schnitzels came out of the deep fryer. More of a really good fast food restaurant. The waiter who served us was friendly at first, but became increasingly unfriendly towards the end. The only good thing about this inn was the decor, which was very nice.

We were on vacation in Glowe this week and had dinner at the Zur Schabe restaurant. I or we have to say: the food is very good, it tastes good, it is fresh and tasty. Price is okay and the atmosphere is very cozy. The staff is also courteous and very nice. Keep it up, we'll be back in the spring.

My wife and I were in Glowe last weekend and had dinner twice at the Gasthaus Zur Schaabe. Why twice? Because the food on the first night was so delicious! The schnitzels are large, not too thick, well seasoned and juicy. The fried potatoes were also excellent and, which we liked very much, were fried nice and crispy without being burnt. The atmosphere is very inviting and the staff is attentive and very friendly. A big thank you again to Dania, who served us very attentively and refreshingly on both evenings. We don't live that far away from Glowe and will definitely stop by the Schaabe every now and then to enjoy it. Thanks. Since we didn't stay in the Schaabe, I unfortunately can't give any stars for the room category.

We were not guests in the guesthouse and only went to the restaurant to eat. It was really great from start to finish!! I would recommend making a reservation, it's easy to do via the homepage. Very nice service, something you rarely experience these days. Food was ready super quickly and the food was just great. There's nothing to complain about there. I can absolutely recommend the homemade tartar sauce and herring fillet. Simply great. Price-performance ratio TOP!!! Added to this is the beautiful ambience, you just feel completely at home, highly recommended and we would be happy to come back again.

We stayed in this guesthouse for 4 nights and were overall satisfied. There are always little things, so I would personally think about replacing the bedding. I don't think feather bedding is that common anymore. The restaurant was really good, the breakfast was rich and tasty. You should reserve dinner in the morning as there is always a lot going on. All in all it's okay.

Went to the restaurant with six adults and four children and feasted our way through the menu, from tomato soup, lasagne, schnitzel, fish and chicken to crème brûlée and red jelly. Really great, nice and courteous staff! Great, rustic, cozy atmosphere! The tomato soup lacked a bit of kick, as did the baked sea bream and the cauliflower. Unfortunately, the lasagna wasn't convincing either... But the rest was really great! Schnitzel nice and thin, tender with great taste. Super delicious fried potatoes! The homemade tartar sauce is a dream! The chicken with the curry sauce is great and the desserts melt away :-) Thank you very much, we would love to come back!!

The two of us had dinner there before and it tasted really delicious. There was the schnitzel with Letscho and the vegetarian linguine, with a small salad and finally a crème brûlée. Everything is incredibly tasty and really great for the price! That wasn't the last visit there.

We stayed at the inn twice. If I write that it was good then it's a lie. It was great and we'll be back.

The cuisine at the Gasthaus zur Schaabe is simply outstanding. Every dish we tried was a culinary masterpiece. The dishes were not only excellent in terms of taste, but also visually pleasing. The use of fresh, local ingredients and the creativity of the kitchen team could be felt in every bite. I would particularly like to highlight the ambience of the inn. It's cozy and inviting, just the right place to spend a relaxing evening. You can immediately tell that a lot of attention is paid to details in order to offer guests a pleasant atmosphere. All in all, I can only warmly recommend the Gasthaus zur Schaabe. Everything is just right here: great staff, great service and a mega kitchen! I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

This review refers only to the inn We ate very well here. The fried potatoes, the herring, the schnitzel, there was nothing to complain about. The homemade remoulade sauce was also very good. On requests such as: a smaller portion was received. Service: a waiter who loves his job.

Cozy room with a small fridge, table with chairs and couch, TV and private bathroom with walk-in shower. Room cleaning every day, towels changed at your own discretion. A good breakfast offer every day (included in the price) and parking space (3€/day). Staff very friendly and helpful. I had reserved a table for dinner (right from home) every day. Good decision because the restaurant is very well attended. The food is very tasty and freshly prepared. There is a children's menu. The fish soup is highly recommended. You can get to the beach in 3 minutes. We felt very comfortable.

We were there spontaneously last Sunday, June 23rd, around 7:00 p.m. Lots of empty tables and without a reservation it's difficult to get seats even for two people, at least that's what the older gentleman did. The younger, male waitress offered us a table more quickly. However, this was checked again in detail on the computer on site beforehand. The food is solid and fair value for money. Unfortunately, we locals in the tourist region know this all too well. We had schnitzel with Letscho and Grützwurst. Subjectively, the food was a bit too salty for us (steak fries and grützwurst - therefore only 4 out of 5 stars). The younger gentleman easily responded to special requests. We were extremely satisfied with his appearance and performance.

Booked a room spontaneously while passing through and there's nothing to complain about, the room even has a small fridge, which you often miss. The in-house restaurant is great, solidly furnished, nice staff and everything from the starter to the dessert is delicious and perfect. There is nothing more to expect.
