The waffles were delicious. The service was excellent, and the location is, of course, very nice. 🤩 Good value for money 😊 The waffles here are highly recommended ❤️

They opened half an hour early especially for us, great service. Definitely recommend it.

We were looking for something tasty for lunch in Glowe and stumbled upon the Strandcafé by chance. We have to say, it was more than worth it: homemade lemonade and the best burgers we've ever eaten.👍👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Super delicious food and very friendly staff! My boyfriend and I vacationed in Glowe, and it was truly the highlight. It's super delicious, and the fruit tastes fresh. I highly recommend the waffles there.

But we were on vacation, and you have time 🫠 Our food was delicious and plentiful 😋😋😋 I couldn't finish my portion 🫣 we had the hamburger schnitzel 👍👍👍 and the BBQ pork fries 👏👏👏 we can recommend this restaurant. The parking is a bit far away, but not a problem 😁😁😁😁😁

Service was okay. The menu has changed for the worse over the last 1.5 years. The fries were disgusting, probably fried in old oil, the cocktails were low on alcohol, and there was a long wait before you could place an order, which wasn't a problem with the self-service concept of the past. Overall, there's a lot of potential for improvement. It used to be a recommendation, but not really! Too bad... We'll try again next year.

Great food, super fast service, very friendly, and the price is right too!

There were five of us eating at De Düün and unfortunately all the dishes were very poorly prepared and had a bit of a snack bar feel. I had the schnitzel with fried potatoes, which always sounds very simple but I think you still need a certain basic knowledge of cooking. The staff were nice but very overwhelmed even though there wasn't much going on.

Today we took a short break at the beach cafe De Düün. I highly recommend it. Very good and tasty food, fair prices, and good service. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back.

We went here for a café drink. Ate a waffle and drank ice cream chocolate. Everything was very tasty. And great quality and a lot for the price. The service was also great. We took a cocktail with us on the way. Highly recommended and you have a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea.

Modern cafe with beach views and very friendly staff. I had the Jägerschnitzel. The mushrooms were surprisingly with a dash of white wine, which tasted great. A hot chocolate for dessert, also very tasty.

A fabulous burger and a wonderfully fruity homemade lemonade, great service and a beach-like atmosphere! Unfortunately no parking spaces on site. Nevertheless, in short: I really enjoy coming here again, many thanks to the staff!

I had the pasta cheese dream. The taste was ok, the gorgonzola just didn't really come through. What particularly bothered me, however, was the small portion for the price. I really don't need much to fill me up, but that was far too little.

We went there for a burger and fries. It was really tasty, I haven't had such a good burger in a long time! Compliments to the kitchen! Service was very nice and went very quickly despite the fact that many others were still there. Everything was fine, but the burger could have been a little bigger.😊

Wonderful place to be! Cappuccino, as delicious as in Italy, very relaxed atmosphere and the waffles were freshly prepared and heavenly delicious! Absolutely recommended! And the prices are more than 👍 ok. We didn't drink any cocktails or eat there (we were there for the first time), but everything that was served looked very tasty and prepared with love. We would love to come back here. Service was very friendly!

We were at de Düün yesterday evening and were very positively surprised. We sat on the upper terrace in a beach chair with our 3 children. We were greeted very nicely. My husband had a schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and fries. The portion was good and he enjoyed it very much. I had the Miss Green Burger. I have rarely eaten such delicious vegetarian food. The kids had chicken nuggets with fries and a burger. A decent amount for a children's portion. Our daughter's special request was responded to very kindly. The ambience was wonderful. We had a sea view and could admire the sunset while we ate. Thank you for this great evening. We'll definitely be back. Our new favorite restaurant!

Great dog friendly restaurant. Food very tasty (also vegetarian selection). Service very friendly. Instead of fries there were baked potatoes and the plate of a burger was a bit too small but otherwise everything was great! The response to the criticism was super friendly and appreciative! :)

A very nice beach cafe right on the beach. I had been there with my wife. The food tasted delicious and the service was more than perfect. If anyone is vacationing nearby, this beach café is worth a visit!

I actually ended up here more by chance as I was in the area but I have to say I am absolutely thrilled not only with the food and drink selection but also with the lovely quiet ambience and the friendly staff.

During our week-long holiday in the region we visited the beach café and loved it. The location right on the beach is simply fantastic. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Nice little coffee shop where you can also get hearty dishes...had dinner there....schnitzel with mushrooms, fries and salad...the portion was generously tasty and nicely prepared...the service was very nice...dogs were welcome and the location on the Baltic Sea was very nice...the price was also great....

While walking along the beach promenade we passed the café. The menu was convincing and a table was reserved. Already very friendly on the phone, the positive impression was confirmed upon arrival. The food (BBQ pork fries and the Deichrind burger) convinced us. It was very tasty. A successful evening.

Still good- But..... We were beach guests in Glowe again in August. I've always enjoyed lunch in "de Düün" for 4 years. Recently the owner changed and the concept changed. Before, self-service was the order of the day. You ordered, got a buzzer, and then picked up your food (always connected, with a nice chat with the staff. Now we order and serve at the table, which is time-consuming. Unfortunately only 1 waiter works and takes orders. We couldn't do it alone, so we had to wait a long time for our food. “Fresh waffles” came to the table cold! Dishes at entry-level prices are no longer available... Apparently they are trying to artificially raise the level. That doesn't fit on this stretch of beach. The staff really tries hard!

Nice cafe on the beach promenade. Looking for a vegan option, we decided on De Düün and had a vegan burger there. The burger was delicious and, upon request, I had fried potatoes without bacon. What the café is still missing is oat milk! So unfortunately we had to move on for coffee.

Super delicious food, at a fair price, in a wonderful atmosphere. From the upper terrace you have a beautiful view of the Tromper Wiek and the Glowe marina. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We found our favorite place for our vacation in Glowe.
