We came yesterday without a reservation. We only drove to Glowe after 7 p.m. to avoid the main business. It took us a week to find such a great seafood restaurant. It was simply great, from the ambience to the menu. Very rustic furnishings with old fishing accessories and harmonious decoration. Despite the lack of employees, we are still committed and fast. The order was taken very quickly. The food arrived quickly and everything was absolutely to our satisfaction. Hot, filling and absolutely delicious! Tastefully prepared with pep, not bland and not boring either. Prices absolutely within reason: Children's dish rice pudding approx 7-8€. Fish & chips with two kinds of homemade sauces and cucumber salad about €22. Fischerhus pan, a hit for 30 years - €26.50. Variety and taste 🥰. We will definitely come back on our next holiday on the Baltic Sea 😉.

OMG! I had the fish platter with 4 different types that f fish, potatoes and savoy cabbage on a béchamel sauce for 30 euros! And it tasted amazing! This would have been a $60 dish in USA. Cooked in a cast iron skillet and served as a platter. Very good.

The food was apparently good. Unfortunately we couldn't eat anything there. It's a shame that you can't give the service zero stars. We wanted to stop in with 4 people and wanted to ask for a table. Apparently there were plenty of free tables. However, no attention was paid to us. The waiters seemed very stressed. We should get out of the way. Great statement. After I called out to a waiter to ask if there was anything available, they replied with a rolled eye that no, nothing was available. Then we turned on our heel and left the restaurant. Pure arrogance. Well, apparently they don't need any more money. Ciaooo...

The restaurant is playfully decorated in a style somewhere between a sailor's cabin and home-style cooking like Grandma's. Without a reservation, a waiter gives the feeling that you are to blame for the staff shortage, but the colleague makes up for it and finds a solution. The food can be described as almost very good. We chose the Steamed Cod Fillet with Beetroot Mashed Potatoes. Very good fish, the puree is very delicately seasoned, the mustard sauce is unfortunately a bit dominant and, as always, the playful tomato as a decoration. Still 4.5 out of 5 points. We also had the fish pan, which has been a hit for 30 years, with cod, salmon, zander and perch, as well as fried potatoes and sea buckthorn savoy cabbage. The fish was very well prepared, it really gets 5 points. Overall, we are very satisfied despite the somewhat high prices. We recommend making a reservation in advance.

Best fish & chips. Old Berlin waiter with his heart in the right place. Unfortunately a bit noisy on the street. Parking is nearby, but only available when all other holidaymakers are fleeing the coast due to bad weather.

We have been guests at the Fischerhus Restaurant several times and can warmly recommend it. The restaurant is rustic and very comfortably furnished and the food always tasted excellent. Public parking spaces are available. Reservations are recommended.

Every time you go to Rügen, you have to visit the Fischerhus. I like the old style, the dry humor and of course the Matjes culinary delight. Keep it up. Stay as good as you are 😋

Very tasty food on the restaurant terrace. There is something on the menu for every taste. The service was friendly and helpful. There were five of us and we only found tables for four people. After a brief confusion, a free chair was finally moved around at the neighboring table.

Reserved and placed next to the toilet. The waiter was probably a bit tired or worn out. (Guess he wouldn't have had to work anymore at his age). The food wasn't an achievement and it didn't have much to do with cooking. The waitress wasn't interested in whether we were satisfied and there wasn't even a farewell greeting. I think I tipped too much. We drove to the nearest restaurant to eat.

During the course of dinner we noticed how many people were unfortunately turned away due to a lack of space. We recommend making a reservation. After our excellent dinner, we immediately reserved a table for the evening after next. We weren't disappointed. The experience from the first visit continued here. The staff was friendly, polite and competent on both evenings. The food came to the table quickly, which shows that the kitchen is well organized. Gladly again next time. Keep it up.

I can't judge the food. The outdoor dining area is empty, the service completely ignores you, and when you ask, you get an incredibly unfriendly answer that nothing is available anymore. Never again, there are enough restaurants in town with very friendly service

Rarely have I experienced such rude service. I can fully understand all the negative reviews. Clumsy answers are the order of the day and the kitchen is closed when the waitress is no longer interested. Absolutely not recommended.

Unfortunately we can't say anything about the food as it didn't happen. After trying to call several times without success, we went there as many people were talking about the good food. Unfortunately we were ignored at first and then told that the kitchen closes at 7:30 p.m. Staff more than unfriendly. We can only agree with other reviews: no matter how good the food is supposed to be, such a reception will make you miss the food.

Bedienung etwas lustlos, freundlich ist anders. Essen teuer, Geschmack ziemlich neutral, Bratkartoffeln in der Pfanne überhaupt nicht gewürzt, ohne Zwiebeln und Speck. Wirsinggemuese lasch. Zander war lecker, Gemüse dazu auch. Alles in allem, gibt es in anderen Lokalen leckerer. Auf einen erneuten Besuch verzichten wir.

There is something for everyone here, fish, game... - delicious. Very nice service, good price-performance ratio in my opinion. Dogs are allowed in and also get a treat. Parking is subject to a charge or simply walk there.

If you are in Glowe, you have to stop there. Everything was very, very tasty. If you don't visit this restaurant, you have no business being on Rügen. I'm already looking forward to the next vacation.

We followed the original tip when ordering a meal, or maybe we took the flagship dishes of the place: fish soup, a board of herrings and a dish with four fish. Everything tasted really delicious and was complemented by drinking a dark Störtebecker.

Nice little restaurant with cozy decor. I had the fish platter that was so much touted and was a little but really just a little disappointed. The fish was just a bit dry and that was a shame. I also find a fish soup for over €8 very expensive (for the small bowl). Service was very good and attentive.

For the food, I would easily give it 5 stars! However, the service, in the form of a grumpy and unmotivated waiter who obviously feels annoyed and disturbed by guests, can quickly ruin such a great restaurant! You don't feel welcome here. However, the restaurant itself has the ambience to feel comfortable. The waiter should immediately look for a more suitable job or retire straight away! By the way, you can't excuse this service person with "a" bad day, because my parents also had a waiter who was just as bad-tempered, regardless of our visit. Spontaneous visit to the Fischerhus - we really liked the rustic atmosphere with the wooden paneling and fits in with the town of Glowe. The waiter Carsten was absolutely great and a real guy - without him the stay wouldn't have been half as fun. Always a saying on your lips. The food was very fresh and tasty and special. We recommend the fish platter!

A very cozy restaurant. We had lunch with three people. Labskaus, fish and game. The menu is clear and even if you're not a fan of fish, you'll find something on the menu. The portions are decent and the food was tasty. We will definitely remember this place. P. S. Despite a visit, a parking fee is required in the existing parking lot. But the fee goes to the fire department.

Restaurant very stylishly decorated. We had pike perch with fried potatoes. Didn't meet our expectations. Pikeperch only a piece, some of it quite dry. Fried potatoes were boiled potatoes only briefly tossed in the pan. The vegetables seemed to us like Letscho from a jar. Didn't fit at all. All in all it wasn't worth the money. The best beer was Bernstein-Weizen.

We booked a table for tonight in December because today is my 60th birthday. Arrived at the restaurant on time and found out... closed!!! We go to Glowe twice every year, but Fischer Hus will never host us again.

We ate at the Fischerhus in Glowe - why didn't we find it sooner! That was so delicious, we are both thrilled. We had the Fischerhuspfanne and fish & chips. So: 4 best fresh fish fillets of cod, zander and rockfish? and ? used and prepared extremely well. There was also savoy cabbage with sea buckthorn? and fried potato. We really tried a lot of fish (my husband used to be a sailor), but it was top quality. And my fish & chips too. Fresh cod and I mean redfish to the point. And the chips are fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside with 2 delicious sauces and cucumber salad - that's how it should be. And the dessert was divine too, I can only recommend it. I had the Creme Brülêe with homemade raspberry ice cream. The service was friendly, attentive and quick. Unfortunately the cook had to leave early and there was nothing from the kitchen after 7 p.m. Well - that will be different this season. So I would have given even more points for the food. We will be back definitely.

This was our favorite meal in Germany! The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere cozy. We tried the soup, smoked fish board for appetizers and fish and chips and steamed cod as mains. Everything was incredible, but our favorite was the cod. The presentation was beautiful and each bite of mustard sauce, fish, beet and potato mash, with fried onion was the tastiest! Definitely worth the stop while you are staying on the island!

Freundliche Bedienung gutes Essen

Das Essen war eine Enttäuschung ."Bratkartoffeln" die in der Pfanne angebratene geviertelte Salzkartoffeln waren ohne Speck ,Zwiebeln oder Gewürze. Rotbarschfilet ,welches tatsächlich sehr dünn , ungewürzt und relativ lieblos auf den "Bratkartoffeln" trapiert war. Der Gurkensalat waren lediglich in Dillwasser eingelegte Gurkenscheiben . Die Scampis hingegen waren okay, die dazugereichte Aioli war lecker. Insgesamt verstehe ich die hier bisher vergebenen guten Bewertungen nicht. Auch an den Nachbartischen sah bzw hörte man die Unzufriedenheit der anderen Gäste. Schade, aber wir waren tatsächlich enttäuscht. Positiv hingegen war unsere Bedienung. Super nett ,zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.

Super leckeres Essen. Absolut netter und freundlicher Service. Wir haben uns (wie seit vielen Jahren) sehr wohlgefühlt im Fischerhus und werden auch bei unserem nächsten Rügenurlaub wieder kommen. Danke für diesen tollen, leckeren Abend.

Kurz angebunden, nicht voller Lust ich würde sagen lustlos. War ihm wohl alles zu viel. die Speisen waren sehr gut.

Essen war soweit gut. Nur die Bratkartoffel Pfanne war vom Preis Leistung sehr enttäuschend . Service rein von der Sache war okay. Ein Gastgeber der auch mal lächelt macht schonmal vieles weg. Kein Lächeln, bitte, danke.. nichts. Da wollten wir dann auch nicht noch nach einem Dipp für die Bratkartoffeln fragen. Zuletzt nochmal gesagt….. wer nicht mal Danke sagen kann wenn er nach der Dienstleistung Trinkgeld bekommt, sollte lieber nur die Bar machen. Sorry dafür, aber nehmt das gern mal als Denkanstoß zur Verbesserung, denn das Lokal ist ja echt nett.

Kaum Geschmack, kann man mehr draus machen…Bratkartoffeln neutral, Bohnen bitter und der Fisch sehr labberig. Etwas mehr mit Butter und weniger schnell zubereiten… Je nach dem, was man gewohnt ist, mir war es zu wenig für den Genuss… PS: hatte Scholle!

Der Knusperfisch der Mittagskarte ist eines Fischhuses nicht würdig. Billige TK Ware. Waren echt enttäuscht von dieser schlechten Qualität. So etwas erwarte ich auf einer Insel der Ostsee bestimmt bestimmt nicht.

Wir waren mittags da und konnte der Mittagskarte aussuchen, entweder Schollenfile5 oder Fisch and Chips. Beide lecker und schnell in dem urigen Restaurant serviert. Preislich absolut ok. Bis 17 Uhr gibt die Mittagskarte.
