We got the last available table, so reservations are recommended. The seating is rustic and very comfortable, and the service is fast and friendly. The food is delicious, and you get plenty for your money. The Fischerhus is highly recommended without reservation.

Whenever I'm on Rügen I visit the Fischerhus

The food was lukewarm. The fried potatoes were not crispy. There was an egg coating on the redfish. The loaded menu did not correspond to the actual menu on site. Redfish in egg coating €17, on site €21.80. The waiter was a bit grumpy.

What madness. Warming plate for the plates. Super delicious food! A perfect service! An all around lovely delicious experience! Ps. Be sure to reserve a table in advance.

We ate there on vacation. On the third attempt it finally worked. On the first visit it was closed due to illness, on the second visit we arrived shortly after the kitchen closed (7 p.m.), but we reserved a table straight away for the following day. We weren't disappointed! The food was great, the atmosphere was very good and the service was friendly.

Very nice atmosphere and rustic. The food was very good. The restaurant is highly recommended. The service is very friendly. Finally, we had a sea buckthorn liqueur that comes from a fine distillery in the region. We visited this distillery the day after.

This restaurant is truly the best restaurant here in Glowe. I ate here with my family today and I have to say everything was great, from the food to the service. The price-performance ratio is top. We always like to come back and will do so. Many thanks to the kitchen and the nice service that evening.

This restaurant is very comfortably furnished. The ambience fits perfectly with the Baltic Sea, sea, coast and Rügen. The furnishings are made of dark wood. Many decorations such as steering wheels and models of sailing ships round off the atmosphere perfectly. The staff is very friendly and takes great care of the guests' well-being. The food is very tasty and the prices are fair. Parking is available in a public lot for a small fee. I can warmly and unreservedly recommend this nice restaurant.

We have been eating at Fischerhus on and off for several years and were very impressed with both the service and the food. The day before yesterday, on December 30th, 2024, my husband and I wanted to stop by spontaneously. There was a note at the entrance that said "No kitchen between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.." That wasn't a problem for us. At 3:53 p.m. we entered the restaurant and said that we didn't have a reservation but would like to eat something (after the kitchen break of course). The gentleman at the counter said that wasn't possible because we didn't make a reservation. This is usually not a problem for us because we never expect a yes answer to any of our questions. At 4:45 p.m. we drove past the restaurant and found that almost no table in the restaurant was occupied. It's a shame, but for this reason the Fischerhus is no longer an issue for us.

We had personally reserved a table for two people the day before. A rustic restaurant welcomed us. The service was quick and very friendly. Our dish, redfish fillet in an egg shell, was really tasty. Overall we felt very comfortable. The price was totally fine. We can compare it well because we really like eating fish in fish restaurants. Really recommended.

Really nice cozy atmosphere with indirect light and corner benches. The Nordic decor fits perfectly. The restaurant is in great shape, everything is clean and dust-free. Herbs and sea buckthorn complement many dishes. Praise and greetings to the chef. There are a large number of paid parking spaces behind the house. Only the pop music wasn't that suitable.

We came yesterday without a reservation. We only drove to Glowe after 7 p.m. to avoid the main business. It took us a week to find such a great seafood restaurant. It was simply great, from the ambience to the menu. Very rustic furnishings with old fishing accessories and harmonious decoration. Despite the lack of employees, we are still committed and fast. The order was taken very quickly. The food arrived quickly and everything was absolutely to our satisfaction. Hot, filling and absolutely delicious! Tastefully prepared with pep, not bland and not boring either. Prices absolutely within reason: Children's dish rice pudding approx 7-8€. Fish & chips with two kinds of homemade sauces and cucumber salad about €22. Fischerhus pan, a hit for 30 years - €26.50. Variety and taste 🥰. We will definitely come back on our next holiday on the Baltic Sea 😉.

Visit on Friday, 4 people, 4 fish plates for over 25 euros. Let's start with the fried potatoes, they don't deserve the name. They had only seen the pan briefly, if at all. Savoy cabbage as a vegetable was hard and the sauce was like water and spread all over the pan, including the fried potatoes. Now the most important thing, 4 fish fillets. The fillets were not only very tiny but also fried at least 1 hour before serving. The visit was a complete failure. The Fischerhus no longer sees us.

We were very happy there, but yesterday we were checked in and there was no free table, even though many tables were free. Where there is a will there is a way.

Nice place, quaint, a bit "lots" of knick-knacks. Food okay, the game dish with the noodles is not recommended. Lots of pasta, little meat and the sauce was rather inappropriate, especially since everything on the plate was presented the same way. The herring dish (6 different ones), served with "actually" fried potatoes, but you can also choose any other side dish, unfortunately lacked a "connection", too much raw pickled fish. The redfish fillet fried in an egg shell was okay, but just okay. All in all, we lacked the “actual flash” in every dish. The quaint staff were very funny, even with the dogs, there was always a treat.

The food was great and the service was great. Only with reservation. As long as you don't have to use the sanitary facilities, great. We didn't have any appetite after that. Public toilets were cleaner here in Glowe. That makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like. The stars are deducted because of the unusable toilets. Juicy prices.

A very nice fish restaurant. The ambience was very nicely designed. There were many accessories hanging on the walls that had to do with shipping and fishing. The service was excellent and the food and drinks came very quickly. The food was very tasty. We had fried sprats as a starter. For the main course we had the fish platter, a plaice fillet and fish and chips. This was all very tasty. The restaurant is dog friendly. The restaurant also had a very pleasant atmosphere.

Very nice if you rely on the homepage and can read there that it is open every day from 12:00 p.m. and that you can get here by car. Even in front of the restaurant there is a sign that says "Open daily" but the restaurant is closed (12:15 p.m.). I'm very disappointed (and I wasn't the only surprised "guest" in front of the restaurant).

Disappointing experience at Fischerhus Glowe Our expectations for Fischerhus Glowe were high, especially given the prices, but unfortunately they were completely disappointed. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right here. For a portion of fish that costs around €25, we would have expected much more. The fish was dry and the portion was way too small. The service was particularly disappointing. When we expressed our criticism, it was not addressed at all. Instead, we were treated rather dismissively, which made the entire experience even more unpleasant. Overall, we unfortunately cannot recommend Fischerhus Glowe. It's a shame about the time and money.

Please do not order the offerings from the lunch menu. The crispy fish is industrially prefabricated. The breading is barely edible. Fish & chips quite a small portion. Here too, prefabricated fish balls, like in our company canteen. I recommend that the restaurant take this out of the program again. At the end of the season the service seemed quite tired and listless. Picture, the breading of the crispy fish.

Make an appointment! (Believe me!) We were lucky. It was wonderful. And delicious! You are not alone in your search!

When we are on vacation in Glowe, the Fischerhus is always a "must" - delicious food, great fish, nice staff and the furnishings are simply very comfortable.

Today at 4 p.m....the two of us wanted to eat something...the statement "THE KITCHEN WILL TAKE A BREAK, MAYBE EATING IS POSSIBLE IN 30-45 MINUTES" even though guests were sitting in the restaurant Then you should declare it that way online Or simply say you don't feel like it NOT RECOMMENDED AND NOT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR

The food was super tasty, great value for money! The service was courteous and friendly, and the service was generally top! Unfortunately it was very warm in the restaurant itself and the terrace didn't open until later. Overall, a great restaurant that we definitely recommend.

The service friendly and quick. The food was horrible. Simply reheated, fried potatoes mushy, relatively tasteless, unseasoned, no bacon or onions. The fish was lukewarm and not fried on the skin, the fish skin was limp. I didn't like the savoy cabbage. And expensive compared to the region. This means that the price-performance ratio is very poor. There is no risk of recurrence.

Exactly what you hope for when you're on holiday on the Baltic Sea and want to eat really tasty fish. A rustic restaurant with super friendly and attentive staff. The food is prepared with a lot of love, which you can see and taste. Please keep it up!!! I would recommend the Fischerhus without reservation.

OMG! I had the fish platter with 4 different types that f fish, potatoes and savoy cabbage on a béchamel sauce for 30 euros! And it tasted amazing! This would have been a $60 dish in USA. Cooked in a cast iron skillet and served as a platter. Very good.

The food was apparently good. Unfortunately we couldn't eat anything there. It's a shame that you can't give the service zero stars. We wanted to stop in with 4 people and wanted to ask for a table. Apparently there were plenty of free tables. However, no attention was paid to us. The waiters seemed very stressed. We should get out of the way. Great statement. After I called out to a waiter to ask if there was anything available, they replied with a rolled eye that no, nothing was available. Then we turned on our heel and left the restaurant. Pure arrogance. Well, apparently they don't need any more money. Ciaooo...

The restaurant is playfully decorated in a style somewhere between a sailor's cabin and home-style cooking like Grandma's. Without a reservation, a waiter gives the feeling that you are to blame for the staff shortage, but the colleague makes up for it and finds a solution. The food can be described as almost very good. We chose the Steamed Cod Fillet with Beetroot Mashed Potatoes. Very good fish, the puree is very delicately seasoned, the mustard sauce is unfortunately a bit dominant and, as always, the playful tomato as a decoration. Still 4.5 out of 5 points. We also had the fish pan, which has been a hit for 30 years, with cod, salmon, zander and perch, as well as fried potatoes and sea buckthorn savoy cabbage. The fish was very well prepared, it really gets 5 points. Overall, we are very satisfied despite the somewhat high prices. We recommend making a reservation in advance.

Every time you go to Rügen, you have to visit the Fischerhus. I like the old style, the dry humor and of course the Matjes culinary delight. Keep it up. Stay as good as you are 😋

Very tasty food on the restaurant terrace. There is something on the menu for every taste. The service was friendly and helpful. There were five of us and we only found tables for four people. After a brief confusion, a free chair was finally moved around at the neighboring table.

Reserved and placed next to the toilet. The waiter was probably a bit tired or worn out. (Guess he wouldn't have had to work anymore at his age). The food wasn't an achievement and it didn't have much to do with cooking. The waitress wasn't interested in whether we were satisfied and there wasn't even a farewell greeting. I think I tipped too much. We drove to the nearest restaurant to eat.

During the course of dinner we noticed how many people were unfortunately turned away due to a lack of space. We recommend making a reservation. After our excellent dinner, we immediately reserved a table for the evening after next. We weren't disappointed. The experience from the first visit continued here. The staff was friendly, polite and competent on both evenings. The food came to the table quickly, which shows that the kitchen is well organized. Gladly again next time. Keep it up.

I can't judge the food. The outdoor dining area is empty, the service completely ignores you, and when you ask, you get an incredibly unfriendly answer that nothing is available anymore. Never again, there are enough restaurants in town with very friendly service

Rarely have I experienced such rude service. I can fully understand all the negative reviews. Clumsy answers are the order of the day and the kitchen is closed when the waitress is no longer interested. Absolutely not recommended.

Unfortunately we can't say anything about the food as it didn't happen. After trying to call several times without success, we went there as many people were talking about the good food. Unfortunately we were ignored at first and then told that the kitchen closes at 7:30 p.m. Staff more than unfriendly. We can only agree with other reviews: no matter how good the food is supposed to be, such a reception will make you miss the food.

Bedienung etwas lustlos, freundlich ist anders. Essen teuer, Geschmack ziemlich neutral, Bratkartoffeln in der Pfanne überhaupt nicht gewürzt, ohne Zwiebeln und Speck. Wirsinggemuese lasch. Zander war lecker, Gemüse dazu auch. Alles in allem, gibt es in anderen Lokalen leckerer. Auf einen erneuten Besuch verzichten wir.
