Went there spontaneously, was really lucky, actually everything was reserved, but we arrived at the right time, food was, I have to say, simply delicious, and so friendly, simply recommendable

We went there spontaneously for the first time on Thursday and got a table despite it being full...luckily! I haven't eaten such delicious fish in a long time...then yesterday, to end our vacation, we went again, with a reservation of course...the fish platter is soooo good!! The prices are absolutely reasonable, the service is Nordic fresh, super friendly with a bit of a mischievous smile. All in all, absolutely recommended - but ALWAYS with a reservation 🙂 We'll definitely be back for a fish platter and rice pudding on our next vacation 😋

I spontaneously went for dinner shortly after it opened in the middle of the week. The restaurant wasn't very busy, so I was able to place my order right away. I didn't have to wait long for the food either.

Five of us went to dinner. Everyone had a different dish. Simply outstanding!

Very fatty and salty food. Fish was probably backed on the same oil as other kind of fish. From vegetables one single tomato was served. Unfortunately not the best experience.

We ate at Fischerhus twice. The atmosphere and food were fantastic. We look forward to eating here again on our next vacation. Reservations are essential!

Fantastic! A delight! We haven't had such delicious fish in a long time, and then onion chutney, which I initially thought was red cabbage. Absolutely delicious. The friendly, attentive waitress would like to give the chef another big hug. And the bitter ale was delicious! My girlfriend is still raving about it. Unfortunately, we can't give it 6 stars. If we're ever back on Rügen, we'll definitely be back here. PS: Reservations are recommended ;)

We've always enjoyed eating here in the past. The service is still very friendly and the ambiance is very nice. Unfortunately, the restaurant is no longer open Monday to Sunday as stated on the website. It's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, although this is only indicated by the sign outside the door. The fish and chips used to be delicious, as they came with potato chips; now they only serve steakhouse fries, which isn't listed on the menu either, and they cost a whopping €21.20. Arriving guests were turned away around 7:30 p.m. with the message that the kitchen closes at 8:00 p.m. A real shame.

We would have loved to have dinner at the Fischerhus on September 19, 2025. Our journey was 500km. I tried to reserve a table by phone at various times for days. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone, or I got a busy signal! Emails for table reservations are not responded to. Dismal service - a shame!!!! The Seeperle is so happy to have the six of us. No problems reserving online.

The food, drinks, ambiance, and service were perfect. This is exactly what fine dining should be. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

A very cozy restaurant with a maritime flair – from the lovingly decorated interior to the pictures on the walls, you immediately notice that everything here is about fish. The food was fresh and delicious: the fish was cooked to perfection, accompanied by matching side dishes like beans, fried potatoes, or small salads. We particularly liked that the dishes didn't seem overdone, but were prepared simply and honestly. The draft beer was also a great match. Overall, a lovely place to relax and enjoy good fish in a pleasant atmosphere.

As always, we had a delicious fish dish and were once again warmly welcomed. Our friends from Münster, who visited us here, were also very enthusiastic about the food and the wonderful view of the Baltic Sea. Of course, we'd love to come back. Keep up the good work.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The beer garden is a bit noisy, being on the main street, but still cozy. Parking is subject to a fee.

A very friendly, human approach is shown to guests. Even the smallest details are taken care of. The staff is always ready to accommodate any requests. The ambiance is beautiful and rustic, cozy, and pleasant. The food was delicious, plentiful, and fresh.

I specifically checked the website before we left Stralsund. The website said it was open. After we arrived and paid the parking fee, there was a sign on the door saying it would be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays starting August 11th. There was no mention of this on the website on August 11th... what a pity.

Today we ate rump steak and rack of apple pork, both perfectly cooked and very tasty.

My wife and I decided to stop in at short notice. We got a table without a reservation and received a very friendly welcome (5:30 p.m.). The restaurant is busy, and after 6:00 p.m., you can only get a table by chance or with a reservation. The interior is very rustic and cozy. The atmosphere is very cozy. There's also comfortable outdoor seating, albeit on the main street. The service was friendly, and the wait times were reasonable. Our meal was very tasty (1. zander and 1. salmon, each with fried potatoes). The portion sizes allow for a starter or dessert. There's a nice selection of Störtebeker beers on tap and in bottles. When our glasses were empty, the waiter was attentive, and the child at the next table got his food first! Congratulations, that's rare! We really enjoyed it. We'd love to come back!

We arrived here at 7:30 p.m. for dinner and were told very bluntly that the kitchen was already closed. This isn't understandable during peak season. But with these prices here on Rüben, I'm not surprised that some people close early because they're rich.

Very delicious food and very friendly service. We felt very comfortable and were happy to end our last evening on the island in such a delicious way. The fish dishes were excellent, and the white milk slice was a real hit.

We sat outside, the service was nice. The food was okay. Generally, it was good. I had the cod with a herb crust, potato and bacon mash, and apple confit; my wife had the halibut with fennel. It was beautifully presented. It could have been a bit more seasoned. Sure, there are cruets on the table, and everyone can season their food, but that's all just superficial. My cod was well-cooked, cooked to perfection. It could have used a bit more seasoning. The potato and bacon mash missed the smoky flavor of the bacon. It was actually mashed potatoes with bacon cubes; it could have used a bit more nutmeg and pepper. The apple confit was good and suited the dish. It could have even been a bit more. My wife's was similar. The fish was good, the vegetables too; they could have been more bold with the seasoning. All in all, you can say it was good value for money. ``` If we had known what it would be like at another restaurant in Glowe, we would have preferred to come back here.

You can eat delicious fresh fish here, with a variety of side dishes. The price-performance ratio is roughly balanced. Service is polite and prompt. The only drawback is that if you sit outside, you're sitting right on the street. However, the terrace's barriers offer some protection.

A lovely, quaint restaurant with a terrace facing the street. Unfortunately, the terrace is often only partially used, which is a bit incomprehensible when the weather is nice, as we also want to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere on our summer vacation. Instead, they only offer indoor seating (even with reservations), where you also have to be served, right?! The food is delicious and of good quality, but the prices are commensurate. We've been here several times and have found the service to be quite inconsistent. It often seems somewhat condescending or even arrogant, which gives the impression that you're "too much" as a guest. It's a shame! Reservations recommended :)

Very good food. Fresh fish and side dishes. Dishes in interesting combinations. We loved everything. The prices aren't cheap, but it's worth it. The place has a great atmosphere and a garden in front of it. Friendly and efficient service. You can pay by card, which is unfortunately not common in this area. I recommend it.

Incredibly atmospheric place! Very tasty food! We ordered dishes for three, each with their own taste, everyone was very pleased! For four days on the island, this restaurant was one of the TOP!!!

The preparation and serving of the dishes is simply superb. The staff is very attentive and sweet! The atmosphere is simply fabulous!

Very tasty, rustic decor/atmosphere, and genuinely original staff. ;) Often fully booked. We went twice with nine people, but it was 4 p.m.... highly recommended. Dogs are welcome.

We happened by spontaneously and thought we'd just ask if there was a table available. No sooner said than done. We received a very warm welcome, and despite the fact that everything was reserved, we still had the chance to eat there. The food was absolutely delicious. I can hardly remember the last time I ate such good fish. Excellent food, a wonderful stay. We'd be happy to come back. Thank you so much!!!

Unfortunately, the fried potatoes weren't crispy, and there was nothing else to accompany the fish (no cucumber or green salad). What a shame. The service was good and friendly!

Wir kommen schon seit Jahren in unserem Urlaub immer gerne ins Fischerhus und sind jedes mal wieder positiv überrascht wie gut es hier schmeckt. Die Gerichte sind sehr schön angerichtet, den Beilagensalat möchte man wirklich essen, es gibt eine Kinderkarte, frisches Essen und Portionen von denen man satt wird, Preise absolut angemessen. Sehr gemütlich, urig, authentisch. Da lohnt sich auch der Weg wenn man keine Unterkunft in Glowe hat.

Very nice restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dogs were no problem. The food was incredibly delicious, and the price was completely reasonable.

We stopped by in the early afternoon – without a reservation – and received a very friendly welcome. I had a sea bass fillet on green asparagus, and my husband had salmon with a herb crust. Both were delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. We'll definitely be back on our next vacation.

Das Fischerhus auf Rügen ist wunderschön, ruhig gelegen und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und top ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gern wieder! 🙂

We wanted to stop there at 7:15 p.m. to end the beautiful evening with plenty of fish 🐟🍽 on our plates. We drove 45 km all the way from Schaprode 😕 Maybe we should have called ahead, but we were very surprised that the kitchen closed at 7:00 p.m. when the opening hours are advertised as 9:00 p.m. We had apparently sat on the restricted area of ​​the terrace, but the evening sun was still shining beautifully 🌞. Looking back, it was only noticeable that there were no seat cushions on that side. The waitress just mumbled, "We sat in the restricted area and the kitchen was already closed," and then she disappeared again 😅 We're now 500 meters down the street at a self-service restaurant called "Zum Fisch." They definitely still serve food after 7:00 PM 🍤🍛🥗

A very good restaurant. They typically serve fish, but also offer a few non-fish dishes. Everything tastes very good and fresh. The service is excellent and, despite the busy times, always remains cool and cheerful. If you want to eat here, you should definitely make a reservation in advance, as the restaurant gets quite full, especially in the evenings. There is a public parking lot behind the restaurant.

Unfortunately, we were very rudely turned away, despite plenty of free seats! Reservations are essential! However, we ended up eating super quickly, super friendly, and super deliciously at "Zum Fisch."

I popped into the shop at short notice with two small children around 5 p.m., was immediately greeted warmly, and given a table. The food was delicious and very quick, and the quaint atmosphere was fantastic. Great, keep it that way.

But it's a good restaurant with excellent food and friendly service. Advance reservations are recommended!

No. I can't recommend this place. Opening hours are until 9 p.m. We were sent away before 7 p.m., even though there was plenty of space inside and outside. The kitchen was supposed to have closed. What kind of business sense is that? What kind of hospitality is that? 😒

We enjoyed being guests at Fischerhus for many years, but we will avoid it in the future. The menu and food have been significantly reduced. Prices have increased. That wouldn't have been a problem, but the quality has also declined significantly. Fish was overcooked, fried potatoes were warm but not crispy, and the side dishes were soggy... What a shame ☹️

I highly recommend the Rügen fish pan. Prepared with love, it looks great and tastes exceptionally good. Friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere and delicious food.

A very pleasant surprise. Beautiful setting, friendly service, and excellent fish. The fried anchovies and red berry crumble delighted our taste buds. I can't wait to try their thirty-year-old specialty, "Fischpfanne der Renner."

You can sit well here and it's quite comfortable. Unfortunately, the prices for food and especially drink are way over the top. You can find almost nothing for less than 23 euros, except starters. Unfortunately, this is common practice these days, especially in holiday areas and excursion areas. Yes, there is almost exclusively fish here and fish is expensive, but raising the prices by several (!) euros within a year for the same offering is unjustified. But that's my personal opinion... It's a shame because it was one of my favorite restaurants in Glowe.

Update 5 years later: At the beginning of May there were no free places to eat here. We were not told Doris as kindly as she was five years ago. It's a shame because we had very positive memories of it. But there were also different service staff than back then. Then we went to the Schaabe where they simply created a place for us. Because of the unfriendly service, I had to change my rating at the time. Today we only had dessert because we had just stopped off somewhere else, but tomorrow we'll really test the Fischerhus. The dessert was super delicious. The decor is absolutely great and the service is very friendly. There are no cocktails, but that wasn't a problem, something was quickly mixed and that was okay. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We followed the good rating on Google and visited the restaurant with 4 adults and a teenager on Friday lunchtime. Overall we were happy with our visit. We ordered three fish pans, all of which were fresh and delicious, as well as two rump steaks. When we ordered the steaks, we asked for them medium rare, but unfortunately both steaks were well done, which was a bit disappointing. Despite our advice to the waitress, there was unfortunately no response or apology. Despite these minor criticisms, we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was pleasant. We would generally visit the restaurant again, but hope that next time more attention will be paid to your wishes in the preparation.

We have eaten at Fischerhus several times and have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately, things were different this year: the service is still great and the rustic decor is cozy. However, the portion size was significantly reduced and the price increased. An example: Fish platter with 4 pieces of fish previously €26, now 3 pieces of fish for €28. Until now there were always chips made from potatoes, now they are conventional chips that you can get everywhere. At 7 p.m. only 2 of the 5 desserts were still there and the ice cream bee, a highlight for our children, was completely canceled. We hope that next year it will be more like we know it. In any case, this reduction in quality cannot be due to a lack of guests!

Wir waren leider sehr enttäuscht. Wir hatten die Fischerhus-Pfanne, beworben als Empfehlung seit 30 Jahren für 28,- €. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und war nicht dem Preis entsprechend. Der Fisch war zu lange in der Pfanne und die Rosmarinkartoffeln wahrscheinlich nur aufgewärmt. Die Karte wurde gerade geändert und die Preise erhöht, leider nicht der Qualität angemessen. Keine Empfehlung. Unsere Bewertung bei Google Maps ließ der Inhaber leider durch einen Anwalt wegen "Verleumdung" löschen. Schade, eine Entschuldigung wäre eher angebracht gewesen.

Whenever I'm on Rügen I visit the Fischerhus

The food was lukewarm. The fried potatoes were not crispy. There was an egg coating on the redfish. The loaded menu did not correspond to the actual menu on site. Redfish in egg coating €17, on site €21.80. The waiter was a bit grumpy.

We ate there on vacation. On the third attempt it finally worked. On the first visit it was closed due to illness, on the second visit we arrived shortly after the kitchen closed (7 p.m.), but we reserved a table straight away for the following day. We weren't disappointed! The food was great, the atmosphere was very good and the service was friendly.

Very nice atmosphere and rustic. The food was very good. The restaurant is highly recommended. The service is very friendly. Finally, we had a sea buckthorn liqueur that comes from a fine distillery in the region. We visited this distillery the day after.

This restaurant is truly the best restaurant here in Glowe. I ate here with my family today and I have to say everything was great, from the food to the service. The price-performance ratio is top.
