Very nice, the staff was also very friendly.

I ordered for take out and it was ready within 20 minutes. When I entered I was immediately greeted and asked what my order was. I was even offered an Uzo. Food was still warm when I got home (about a 10 minute walk) and a decent portion! It was very tasty and great value for money. Gladly again on your next vacation.

Food was okay and prices were just a little higher than at home.

We ate at Greco as a group of men (without excessive alcohol consumption). Even the greeting was borderline. The question about a free table outside was rudely rejected. When we laughed out loud, we were immediately warned to reduce the volume. The mood was in the basement. Starters were great, the main courses were poor until it worked.

Food excellent, staff super nice, unfortunately we waited a long time for the food. Ambience perfect!!! We'll be back!!!

I had a meal there with my family and it was delicious, but the wait was long, otherwise the service was good and nice.

I called to reserve a table. Was rudely complained on the phone that he didn't have forever while I checked the time for a moment (maximum 2 second interruption in the conversation). Unfortunately, the time wasn't right and we were quickly brushed off with an unfriendly goodbye. I can't say anything about the restaurant but the phone call was very deterring

We felt very welcome. Food was very tasty. Greek wine is recommended. Everything perfect. 🤗

We had dinner in the restaurant today. The food arrived super quickly and tasted very good. We were sitting in the entrance area and you could see how the boss was commanding his employees, which I found very negative. Then all the comfort went away. The employees seemed noticeably stressed by the boss. It's a shame, I feel sorry for the people because without them the restaurant wouldn't exist.

Proven Greek quality in sufficient quantities at fair prices

There were two of us there with a small child and we were offered a high chair and a space for the stroller. The food was served quickly and tasted very good, the prices were reasonable. Gladly again.

Bereits vor Ankunft auf der Insel Tisch für Sonntag 19h gebucht, was zwingend erforderlich war. Zum Essen: Gyros war aus, statt Pommes kam Reis, statt großem Bier ein kleines, Souflaki war mal zart mal hart, Standard-Krautsalat aus dem großen Eimer. Im Fazit: man war bemüht aber überfordert und hat die letzten Jahre nix dazu gelernt. Sorry, Touriabfertigung.

The food was very good. We would have liked the service to be a little more frequent. But we were there with 4 people and would go back again and again.

We (5 people) wanted to eat Greek and googled and came across this restaurant. So let's go and order some food. Every meal was excellent and the service was friendly and funny. Drinks cold and price/performance completely ok. I can only recommend it wholeheartedly.

Again and again. Large selection, staff attentive and friendly. We always enjoy it. We have been happy to come back for years.

First the positive. We were able to reserve a table straight away for the same day and our dog wasn't a problem at all. No tzatziki was served with the gyros and souvlaki skewers. But we weren't told beforehand. It costs extra. Fries were brought three times without mayo, despite ordering. After reminding us twice, 1 x mayo was served in the disposable bag 😳 We then voluntarily refrained from reminding us about the rest again. The meat was seasoned far too subtly for us. In fact, there was hardly any spice to be tasted. We had 1 bottle of water and our son 2 glasses of cola. The whole thing for just under €90!!! Despite the island surcharge, it's too expensive for what's on offer. Neither the service, nor the quality of the meat, nor the quantity justified it. There was an ouzo on the house with the bill... At least 😉

Very rude today! Although there were two tables available on the terrace, we were refused because we had a dog with us. And really unfriendly! Two days ago our money was happily accepted.

So some people write recessions that make your hair fall from your head. This restaurant is just great for my taste. The food especially, not to mention the service. No waiting times, nothing like that. Ordered at 5:10 p.m. and received it at 5:25 p.m. What more do you want. 5 stars from me.

Simple gyro fries, always delicious!

Almost all seats are free - you wait 5 minutes at reception. Nothing happened. When we wanted to take a seat we were sent away according to the motto you have to make a reservation. And the sound! Already rude. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE. This is how you get rid of guests!!

A really good Greek meal awaited us. The sheep's cheese garlic sauce was a house recommendation and it didn't disappoint, it was great.

Very pleasant restaurant. The food is typically Greek, rich, good portions. Attention: often very busy, it is better to book a table in good time.

Das Essen war in Ordnung und entsprach den Erwartungen. Was ich in einem Restaurant nicht akzeptiere : Die Bedienung führte 4 Personen an den eng stehenden Nachbartisch. Diese hatten 2 größere, langfellige, nasse und entsprechend " duftende " Hunde dabei. Auf meine Intervention hin wechselten die Hundebesitzer unter süffisanten Kommentaren den Tisch. In einem Imbiss mag das angehen, ein Restaurant sollte allerdings gewisse Standards einhalten.

Die Preise sind schon hoch, für das gebotene Essen. Zu Silvester eingeschränkte Karte, ohne vegetarische Speisen, dass ohne vorherige Mitteilung. Der Salat von den Vorspeisen mit knapp 16,00€ bestand hauptsächlich aus Gurken und Tomaten und war mit zu viel Essig angemacht. Die Fleischgerichte waren abgesehen vom zu trockenen Gyros auf den Punkt, also wirklich gut. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam, gut = 4 Sterne Das Ambiente war OK, nicht schlecht, jedoch langt es kaum für ein gut, also 3 Sterne. In der Summe also OK, was 3 Sterne bedeutet.

Essen mittelprächtig. Freundliches Personal.

Einen Griechen ohne Knoblochkartoffeln. Einen Grillteller ohne Zaziki. Einen Ouzo erst wenn man ihn verlangt. Das hat den Namen Grieche nicht verdient.

Es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Fleisch genau auf den Punkt gegrillt. Sehr freundliche aufmerksame Bedienung.

Alles in allem! So wie ein Griechischer McDo…. Wir waren nach einem langen Tag am Strand sehr zufrieden! Mega große Portionen! Innerhalb von 30 Minuten bestellt, gegessen und bezahlt. Qualität war absolut in Ordnung. Wir kommen wieder!

Sehr einfacher Grieche mit sogar für Norderney gehobenen Preisen. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Wir bekamen ohne Reservierung einen Tisch, der extra für uns zurecht gemacht wurde, da wir den Kinderwagen dazu stellen mussten. Das ging ohne Probleme. Bedienung war sehr freundlich, Essen (Gyros und ein gemischter Grillteller) war sehr lecker. Preise für Norderney waren voll im Rahmen.

Man muss im El Greco mit Zeitfenstern rechnen wenn man dort essen möchte. Der Service war recht freundlich und schnell. Das Essen war ok und überraschte uns, dass bei den bestellten Gerichten das übliche Tsatsiki nicht enthalten war sondern separat bestellt werden muss.

Speisekarte liest sich ganz gut. Wir (2 Mitfünziger) hatten uns dann für das Gyros überbacken mit Metaxasauce entschieden. Die Menge war übersichtlich und geschmacklich war es ein Reinfall. Die Metaxasauce war weder pikant noch delikat. Das Fleisch hatte einen komischen Nachgeschmack und war teilweise knorpelig (hatte ich im Gyros noch nie!). Fazit: Jede griechische Pommesbude bei uns zu Hause bekommt das wesentlich besser hin. Wir werden nicht nochmal hingehen.

Es geht auch griechische auf Norderney. Zu Besuch bei "El Greco" Essen, Service und Ambiente waren bei unserem Besuch hervorragend. Eine Tischreservierung ist empfehlenswert.

Sehr leckere griechische Küche mit einem ausgesprochen netten Service. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!!

Essen war okay. Die Kellnerin war nicht besonders freundlich, als ich gefragt hatte, ob es zu den gebackenen Zucchini auch Reis oder Pommes dazu gäbe, kam nur ein: Steht das dabei? Als ich nein antwortete, kam dann nur die Antwort: Dann ist es auch nicht dabei. In einem putzigen Ton. Ich fand die gebackenen Zucchini ganz gut, aber hatte irgendwie gedacht, da ist noch was bei. Für 12€ hatte ich noch etwas anderes dazu erwartet. Generell waren wir beide eher nicht 100% überzeugt.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe dort und hatten vorab einen Tisch reserviert. Der Empfang war gut, Das Essen und Preis-Leistung top. Und dann gibt es da den leckeren Plomari Ouzo. Alles bestens!

Good food for a good price, great service!

Wir haben hier sehr lecker gegessen, die Knoblauch-Feta Soße hat es uns besonders angetan, einfach lecker. Aber auch das Gyros mit Tzakziki war himmlisch! Sehr freundlicher Service. Wenn ich das nächste Mal auf Norderney bin, komme ich gerne zum Essen wieder.

Wir haben ohne Reservierung problemlos einen Platz bekommen. Das Essen war gut und wurde nach der Bestellung auch recht schnell serviert. Alles in allem ein gelungener Abend.

Top Service, sehr nett und schnell Portionen groß und ausreichend

Diese Essen hier ist richtig lecker,alles was du brauchst einfach kommen und probieren weil das ist wie Reise nach Griechenland und all das. Jede Erfahrung an diesem Ort wird das Restaurant vom ersten Tag an zu Ihrem Zuhause machen, denn eine solche Atmosphäre ist typisch familiär, hübsche Kellner und eine nette Kellnerin, der Chef des Lokals ist sehr freundlich
