The gyros was unfortunately neither crispy nor well-seasoned. Perhaps this was because the restaurant was fully booked. The coleslaw, however, appeared to be good and freshly prepared.

Delicious food, great value for money, and super friendly service. A small, charming restaurant! Children receive an incredibly warm welcome, a "children's ouzo" for a toast, cucumber slices instead of salad, and Haribo candies to take away. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, compared to previous years, it's been a significant decline. The appetizer platter for two, lacking skordalia and tarama, was no longer worth the price. The main course (lamb platter) was tasty, but the portions had shrunk. The service was more friendly but brusque than the warm Greek hospitality one would expect. It used to be the best Greek restaurant on Norderney; what a shame. Of course, the owner can't be held responsible for the noisy group of men with the bottle of ouzo at the next table.

We were there for the second time today. Very nice restaurant, good portions and very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. You should definitely reserve a table in advance, otherwise you won't get a table for Greek food.

The Delphi is a small restaurant, and we were happy to snag a spot the day before. The food was plentiful and very tasty. The service was exceptionally good. We'd love to come back.

The food was great. Unfortunately, it was incredibly crowded, and we had to sit outside. But with a blanket, it was manageable.

We were there yesterday with 5 people. We got a table for 6 because someone canceled, but even for 5 people the seats and the table were very cramped and small. The benches are too low, so your legs start to hurt after about 30 minutes. The atmosphere was otherwise ok, the restrooms were small but clean. The food was delicious. I had a platter with gyros, souvaki, lamb chops, liver, rice, tzatziki and an ouzo on the house to start with. The service was friendly but a little disorganized. I ordered two large beers, but only small ones came each time, even though the waiter asked again 😅 When it came to paying, the waiter unfortunately made a stupid comment that was unnecessary, so I'm only giving the service 3 stars.

Great restaurant with great food at reasonable prices! Make sure you make a reservation in advance. We had the gyros in Metaxa sauce and the baked version – both delicious.

Highly recommended. Especially suitable for meat lovers. But the menu is also varied for vegetarians. For me, this is a top address on the island. We'll be happy to come back.

The food is typical, as you'd expect from a Greek restaurant. Portions are perhaps a little smaller than usual, but still sufficient. We weren't disappointed with our farmer's stew and rhododendron platter. The only disappointment was the weather in mid-August. But nobody can do anything about that.

Book a table in advance. Otherwise, you won't get a free spot. We always enjoy coming back when we're on Norderney.

Located on a quiet side street, easily accessible on foot. The small terrace is highly recommended in nice weather, and the interior also has a pleasant ambiance. Service is very attentive and quick. The food is delicious; the Hercules platter is my favorite. In my opinion, the best Greek restaurant on the island.

Whenever we're on Norderney, we go there at least two or three times. The food and service are excellent.

The food was about €3 more expensive than at our Greek restaurant on the mainland. That could be dismissed as a tourist surcharge. When ordering, they asked me snidely if I wanted a small tzatziki. Since every Greek restaurant I've been to so far has included tzatziki with my meal, I said "yes" and had an additional €2.20 added to the bill. The bifteki was very light in color. It wasn't ground beef, and even mixed ground meat from a butcher is darker. Whether it was ground pork, I can't say; everyone makes their own judgments. I think they're trying to cut costs wherever possible.

The portion sizes are generous and the taste is also very good. The ambiance fits the Greek flair very well. During peak times, it's best to reserve a table in advance. There aren't many tables, but the terrace in front of the entrance is a great place to sit when the weather is nice. Since it's close to the center and the pedestrian zone, it's also easily accessible on foot, like many other places.

It started out as a great and fantastic restaurant. It's declined dramatically over the past three years. I can no longer recommend it - a shame!

The gyro with Metaxa sauce was flavorful, the sauce nicely creamy without being too heavy. The plain gyro with onions was well-cooked and not dry. I particularly liked the baked feta cheese – strong in flavor and seasoned just right. A pleasant meal that I would order again.

We were in the Delphi restaurant for the umpteenth time. It is important to reserve a table! The food was excellent, meat, decent, portions large, and the coleslaw was homemade and very tasty.

Restaurant was fully booked and we wanted to take something with us.. after the waiter in the kitchen asked how long it would take, we came back 30 minutes later and picked up the gyros! Super delicious, everything warm and actually got an ouzo despite picking it up... there is still service there... we'll be happy to come back on our next vacation!!

It was perfect! On the occasion of our wedding anniversary we had dinner there with our witnesses. It was very cozy and for us the best Greek restaurant we have ever eaten! If you don't reserve in advance, you'll have a hard time getting a seat in the evening. The service is very attentive and friendly. Thank you for this wonderful and delicious evening! Best Greek ever! Everything is just right here. The grilled dishes are a real treat, gyros and souflaki are super tender and juicy, tzatziki are bombastically good and the homemade coleslaw cannot be topped. And all of this at an absolutely moderate price, just like in the old days! Plus the cozy atmosphere like in a small Greek tavern, the friendly service and chatty owners. If I lived here, I would probably be a guest there almost every evening.

This Greek is the best on the island. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating, especially when it comes to children. We've been coming there for several years now and no matter what you order is delicious. The prices are absolutely reasonable for island conditions.

Wir sind immer mehrfach dort, waren zwischendurch mal im El Greco, aber müssen feststellen das das Delphi der beste Grieche der Insel ist. Lecker Essen , nette flotte Bedienung und ich sag nur: Jàmas

There was a small problem with the reservation, our table wasn't free yet, so the boss responded really well, offering us an ouzo and a beer on the house to pass the time. When the table became available, it was immediately made ready. The entire staff is super friendly. The food was perfect. When I'm back in Norderney, I'll definitely eat there again.
