Cozy Greek. The food was plentiful, tasty and the service was top and the prices were reasonable for Norderney standards. It's worth just walking a few streets further from the center.

We come to Norderney every year and it is almost traditional for us to eat at least once in the Delphi restaurant. Absolutely honest Greek cuisine, great attentive and friendly staff. I would give 10☆ for that. The food is top and very rich. Small but fine restaurant and it's best to always reserve a table; stopping in spontaneously is a matter of luck. To the Delphi team: Stay as you are and simply pass on your mentality openly and honestly. We are always happy to come to you.

Small, inconspicuous restaurant from the outside. Price, performance ratio, absolutely top. Staff very friendly, food, drinks, good selection. We went there to eat three times and were always thrilled. Be sure to order a table.

Delicious food and nice staff, especially the boss is a real joker in the positive sense. Portions sufficient and tasty Child-friendly (Fanta instead of Ouzo in a shot glass) Unfortunately it is sometimes overcrowded, so we recommend booking a table. We will definitely come back on our next Norderney vacation. 🇬🇷

Das Delphi auf Norderney ist ein gutes, normales griechisches Restaurant. Das Essen entspricht einem normalen Griechen, manches besser, manches schlechter. Zaziki ist z. B. nicht sehr schmackhaft und Lammkoteletts habe ich schon deutlich bessere gegessen. Außerdem ist das Restaurant überlaufen, warum erschließt sich nicht. Man muss Tage im Voraus reservieren, muss trotzdem auf den Tisch warten, um während des Essens zu erleben, dass schon die nächsten Gäste wartend dastehen. Küche nicht schlecht, Personal freundlich, aber die Drängelei macht keinen Spaß.

Reservation in advance makes sense (small, nice restaurant). Food was very tasty, even if the portions could have been a bit larger (the cyclops plate "for the big hunger" was unfortunately not quite enough to satisfy it) Service was super nice - we'd love to come back again.

Absolute recommendation. 🫶🏼 We ate here twice during our vacation this year. Be sure to reserve a table. It's always crowded here. No wonder. The food is really excellent 😋. A must for us on every Norderney holiday. Our recommendation: Gyros, Gyros Delphi, Delphi grill plate and Bifteki. Soooo delicious. There are also children's portions. The super nice staff rounds off the visit there. Also very child friendly.

We had dinner with the children yesterday. We were warmly welcomed. The service was great and so was the food. We'll definitely be back next year on vacation

Had a spontaneous meal there yesterday. We had to wait a few minutes because we didn't make a reservation, but it worked out. The prices are great, almost everything is under 20 euros and super tasty. Not like in other restaurants where you can't get anything for less than 25 or 30 euros. Price performance is perfect and it tastes great. Always my pleasure. My husband had gyros, I had several types of meat. And for starters, tzatziki with bread, olives with pepperoni. If you are looking for a very small restaurant, this is the right place for you. We ordered the table by phone and 2 hours later got a quiet seat for 3 people on a Sunday evening in high season. The food and service was absolutely to our liking. We would come again. There is good quality here at fair prices *****

A really excellent Greek, with really delicious food, once just pure gyros with onions and fries, although if we had used the red rice, it looked so delicious. Second dish, gyros in feta garlic sauce, 5* delicious. Also the other dishes at the next tables, mmmh. Boss and staff very friendly. However, you should order in advance or you have to wait outside, which was sometimes "rewarded" with ouzo. Second visit last night, this time a farmer's salad first, then liver with red rice and gyros in Metaxa sauce, once again very tasty.

Almost the only restaurant on Norderney that serves Jever. Super friendly waiter. I was allowed to sit outside even though I just wanted to drink a beer. I also got a free ouzo and a nice chat, although it was good to do. Unfortunately, I was no longer able to enjoy the kitchen during my stay. Everything that was served around me looked delicious and smelled good.

Been walking past the restaurant for years. Been there twice this year. Once with a reservation and once sat outside (directly from the beach). Very tasty Greek at reasonable prices. Uzo first...nothing can go wrong. We will add it to our Norderney restaurant list I had bifteki and saganaki

Unfortunately he no longer has such great service employees 😔 You had the feeling that the employees were a bit overwhelmed or annoyed by the guests!!! The store is always very busy! I would recommend making a reservation 1-2 days in advance. The prices are great, the food is fantastic and the staff is friendly and bright. I once had the gyros with cheese gratin and on the second visit the gyros with garlic sauce. I can recommend both.

I just tried to reserve a table for Friday June 21st. The answer was "We're very busy right now, please call after 9 p.m." We ate there last Friday and were very satisfied, but opening a book and making a reservation is probably too much to ask. It's a shame, there are other restaurants on Norderney.

On Thursday we spontaneously got an outside seat on the way home and everything was great as always 👌🏽👌🏽😋😋🥰❣️The scampi and the lamb fillet in sheep's cheese garlic sauce were just perfect and super tasty ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

I was alone at the Delphi last night. The restaurant was fully booked inside. But it wasn't a problem. I found a place on the terrace. The food was excellent. Price performance really great. Very friendly staff. A quick look into the dining room was enough. Also very nice. All around a great restaurant

This Greek man was recommended to us by friends who also regularly vacation on Norderney. We were there for the first time on Saturday and, despite the restaurant being full and no reservation, we were served very nicely and courteously. The food was excellent! For this reason we were there again on Sunday and Monday and have now tried the entire menu. Everything was super tasty and we will definitely come back one or two more times. We can highly recommend Restaurant Delphi! No frills but very solid, delicious cuisine, top service and fair prices! Keep it up!!!

Small cozy restaurant...delicious food. Unfortunately, you are uncharmingly advised not to linger longer after consumption. It's a shame that profit comes before hospitality.

Nothing is cult at this restaurant and it certainly isn't a must!!!!! We like to eat a lot of Greek food because we also love the typical Greek hospitality among others. This restaurant completely misses you. Get in, eat and leave as quickly as possible. That's the motto here. This is exactly how the food is prepared. My wife's gyros were almost raw, cold and swimming in fat. I had gyros with cheese gratin, where you usually have to wait a bit before eating because this dish is usually served extremely hot. Nothing here. Gyros lukewarm, almost raw and swimming in fat. Only half of the gyro was gratinated. Every snack bar is better. Please ignore this restaurant, there are two others on Norderney that are much better after contact and conversations with islanders. Summary after these discussions. Oh God, you can't go there. Terribly bad.

Well-known Greek cult restaurant on Norderney. Very tasty food, very nice atmosphere and nice staff. The taproom is relatively small, but well structured, creating separate areas. When the weather is good you can also sit outside. Despite being a holiday island, really good prices with good value for money. Wheat index less than 5€ and grill plate for about 20 euros. Uso there's that. The service is very nice and on point. We come here regularly when we are on the island and are happy to come back.

Very tasty and fair prices! (2022) Addendum We were there for the 6th time and the quality has always remained the same. Of course, some things were increased by two or three euros, but everything was in the green. After all, what hasn't become a few euros more expensive? We are always happy to come to you. The food was very tasty and plentiful. Unfortunately we didn't have a reservation and therefore had to pay attention to the time. Overall, it felt very hectic to us there, not a place to linger and feast but to have a quick, delicious meal if you can get a seat. I can't say whether things will work differently with a reservation.

Yesterday we visited the small Greek restaurant, delicious food and nice atmosphere. Very friendly and professional service (dziekuje bardzo) and also the boss himself on site with a good sense of humor. Since we come from this industry ourselves, we could look at the beautiful restaurant with a somewhat critical eye and for us it is top. It's admirable how you can conjure up something so beautiful from such a small space.

Es gab ein kleines Problem mit der Reservierung, unser Tisch war noch nicht frei, da hat der Chef super drauf reagiert, ein Ouzo und ein Bier auf Kosten des Hauses zur Zeitüberbrückung. Als der Tisch frei wurde, wurde dieser sofort fertig gemacht. Das gesamte Personal ist super freundlich. Das Essen war perfekt. Wenn ich wieder auf Norderney bin, dann werde ich definitiv dort wieder essen gehen.

Das Essen war fantastisch. Wir haben einen Tisch für 17:30 reserviert und müssten noch kurz warten. Die Wartezeit würde durch ein Bier und einen Ouzo aufs Haus verkürzt. Super netter und zuvorkommender Service!!! Das Essen war auf den Punkt zubereitet und extrem lecker. Sehr süße kleine griechische Taverne. Wir kommen definitiv wieder !!!

Waren ohne Reservierung, hatten Glück, letzten Tisch bekommen. Lieber reservieren. Essen kam schnell uns war echt super Hatten Spieß, super zartes Fleisch, und scampis, welche fachgerecht geschnitten waren so dass sie mit Messer und gabel zu essen waren. Aber ohne Vorspeisen wären wir nicht satt geworden, also lieber tzarziki mit Brot vorab bestellen, super lecker

Die Sauce der Vorspeise Pepperonie war ein Gedicht, die Portionen waren sehr groß und der Service sehr freundlich.

Natürlich kein Sterne Restaurant, aber ein tolles griechisches Essen. Sehr guter Service und leckeres Essen.

Habe verzweifelt versucht einen Tisch zu bekommen und daher die Speisen abgeholt. Jetzt weiß ich warum man lange im Voraus reservieren muss. So mag ich einen Griechen. Gutes Fleisch, leckeres Tsatsiki und der Krautsalat sichtbar handgeschnitten. Sogar der Tomatenreis war schmackhaft und mit Biss. Sehr vernünftige Insel-Preise.

Klein und sehr fein! Wir kamen ohne Reservierung und hatten Glück. Das Restaurant war schnell voll und gut ausgebucht. Das Essen sehr lecker, toller Service, schnell bedient und den Ouzo aufs Haus fand ich sehr gut! So guten Ouzo bekommt man nicht bei jedem griechischen Restaurant. :-)

Wirklich lecker und ordentliche Portionen für "norderneyer Verhältnisse". Vorspeisenteller (und alles andere wohl auch) mega-lecker! Vorbestellen unbedingt erforderlich. Service sehr freundlich.

Leider ist es nicht mehr was es noch vor einem Jahr war, die Speisen sind okay, aber nicht besonders. Durchschnittliche griechische Küche wie fast überall, Zaziki mit deutlich zuviel Knoblauch, außerdem kommt es ohne Brot auf den Tisch, man muss nachfragen. Das Personal ist deutlich überfordert, wir wurden gebeten, einen etwas größeren Tisch zu zweit gegen einen kleinen ‚ Katzentisch‘ zu tauschen, da gleich vier Leute kämen. Der Bitte sind wir natürlich nachgekommen, kurz darauf kamen dann z w e i Männer an den freigemachten Tisch. Wir haben darüber kein Wort verloren, aber es müsste der Bedienung eigentlich peinlich sein. Egal, wir sind bald gegangen und werden eher nicht wieder ins ‚ Delphi‘ gehen, schade.

Restaurant liegt etwas abseits aber ist dennoch immer voll. Reservierung insbesondere am Wochenende ist zu empfehlen. Angemessenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bei freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Service. Portionen gross und sehr geschmackvoll. Räumlich etwas eng was aber uns nicht gestört hat.
