I come here every time I am in Berlin for a visit. Best dishes so far: eggplant rolls, khinkali with lamb and adjarian cheese khachapuri, pork and beef kebab. All workers help to decide with what to order, how much food to order and always give their best advices. If you are around, I recommend to try it 100%. We booked in advance and before we came, they already prepared for us cherry liquor and a bit of garlic cucumbers for the company👌🏼

This Georgian restaurant is a true corner of comfort and warmth. Despite its modest size, it is filled with a special atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes your time here genuinely enjoyable. The waiters not only help with the menu choices but also speak several languages fluently, which adds to the comfort of communication and makes you feel right at home. The Megrelian khachapuri was outstanding, and the pot of lobio with pickles instantly brought back memories of Tbilisi. I must also mention the Georgian wines and lemonades — they perfectly complemented the meal, adding even more authenticity and freshness. This restaurant is definitely worth visiting for anyone seeking delicious food in a quiet and charming place.

I had dinner there with my husband today. The waiter was really very friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was really nice. Unfortunately it was simply too expensive for us. For a simple salad with tomato and cucumber €11, a small pot of eggplant casserole (which somehow wasn't a casserole) €17, 0.4 liter drink €6. I also think €5 for a side dish like rice is disproportionate. The taste was ok, but nothing special. Halloumi (10€) without sauce as a starter and the eggplant casserole was rather bland and a very small portion. But what was an absolute blast and definitely recommended is the cheese bread with egg. The waitress kindly pointed out to us that you mix the still liquid egg with the melted cheese and wow, super tasty. We would come back for that thing, but unfortunately not for the rest of the dishes. Ps. There are other prices online at Opentablet and the real prices have doubled.

On a cold January day, a cold starter with cold rice and chilled lemonade or water in a rather cool, poorly heated dining room wasn't quite right. The fact that it was a cold starter was not stated on the menu (exclusively the one on the left in the photos) and was not explained by the waiter. There was no tea either, only cold drinks, at least the rice could be warmed up a bit. But it was probably just bad luck with the selection, the other things including pasta look delicious and warm.

Very tasty, we were able to taste Georgian dishes without having to reserve a table. Special thanks for that. We will definitely come again

Taking an advice from a friend of ours, we decided to try this restaurant and we are happy we did. The food was delicious, and it feels like a home made, real taste of Georgia. The stuff was extremely friendly and were able to accommodate our large group. Very good menu variety for every person taste from lamb to beef to chicken and even seafood. Didn’t take any pictures because we were too hungry and ate everything very quickly!

The restaurant is nicely decorated, a mix between traditional Georgian and modern. A little too dark, even during the day. Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time for our food. The staff seemed absent and uninterested. The portions were very manageable and we didn't get full. The taste was okay. The wine is very expensive and the taste is not a highlight. Too bad...

Good afternoon everyone. On November 24, 2024, my business partner and I were asked to leave the restaurant, 30 minutes after we sat down at the table and started talking in Russian. Either the administrator or the male owner approached us and asked us to take a seat at the next table, but outside the main hall, at the end around the corner, or for us to leave the restaurant. We were not drunk, we had only arrived from a business forum and just sat and talked, but in Russian. The situation is extremely unpleasant both for us and for those who were sitting next to us. From everything that happened, we and those with whom we communicated realized that they kicked us out because of communicating in Russian. For 4 years we have traveled all over Europe and been to many restaurants, but we have never encountered such an attitude as in Georgian. This is the opinion people left about the hospitality of the Georgian people. Why do this is unclear. German: Am 29.11.24 bin ich mit meinem Geschäftspartner zu Madloba Restaurant gefahren, dort waren schon unsere zahlreiche Kollegen aus dem Boost Forum. Davor habe ich bei Restaurant angerufen und mir wurde gesagt wir können kommen. Angekommen im Restaurant hat man uns gesagt, dass es ziemlich voll ist aber wenn wir Plätze finden dann können wir hier bleiben. Wir wurden an einen Tisch eingeladen und haben uns hingesetzt und auf russisch mit Gästen unterhalten. Nach ca. 30 Minuten kam Administrator (junger Mann) und hat uns aufgefordert Plätze an einem anderen Tisch außerhalb des Saals nehmen oder sein Restaurant zu verlassen. Das war eine böse Überraschung für alle die da saßen. Die Vermutung ist - wir haben uns am Tisch auf russisch unterhalten und deshalb hat es dem Administrator nicht gefallen. Wir sind seit 4 Jahren quer durch Europa unterwegs, waren in zahlreichen Restaurants und sowas noch nie erlebt. Ich denke Leute müssen erfahren, dass russischsprachige Gäste in Madloba georgischem Restauran unerwünscht sind.

Four of us were there exactly a week ago and wanted to be surprised, but also had certain expectations. I was given the opportunity to look for something nice for the evening and Georgian had been on my list for a long time, and in my imagination it always seemed a bit mysterious, exciting and aroused the spirit of culinary discovery. Yes, what can I say, after successfully finding a parking space, we entered the very beautiful and pleasantly warm-looking restaurant and also a different world. Very pleasant atmosphere and chic yet unobtrusive furnishings. The very nice and courteous waitress was quickly there, gave us a little advice about the wine and we ordered it and the bar was already a little higher in terms of historical Georgian competence. What we got was a powerful and full-bodied red wine, whose tannic notes drove away the cold from outside and welcomed me with outstretched arms to Georgia. The food was ordered quite quickly and after a short wait, khachapuri and other dishes arrived, which were not only pleasantly delicious but so great that you had to admit again that you had never had or known such a world of taste, accompanied by the magnificent wine. Pelmeni and pastas were also extremely good and the lamb and chicken from the main course were a real revelation. Everyone at the table was absolutely inspired and so happy to have ended up here. Despite being full, the curiosity about the dessert was too great and the honey cake and the walnut ice cream were also convincing. The price was absolutely right and if I knew in advance that I would have such a lovely evening and such an expanded culinary horizon, I would happily pay more. It's a shame that it's so far away, but I'll definitely come back and I'm grateful for this experience. Madloba Schwiliko❣️
