Schwiliko Restaurant in Berlin

Spontaneously went for lunch and was happily surprised by the quality and how tasty it was!

We visited this restaurant and were unfortunately very disappointed. We waited about 20 minutes, but no one came to our table to take our order. Two waitresses walked past us several times, serving only the next table, and our order was simply ignored. Finally, we left. I cannot recommend this restaurant. A word to the owner: Guests want to feel valued and attentive; otherwise, the restaurant's reputation suffers for a reason. The current rating is already critical, and with service like this, it will only get worse. I wish you the best of luck and hope the service improves.

I've experienced better Georgian food. I had the Kharcho Chicken, and it could have been tastier. Price wise it I believe they should add a lunch menu / Mittagsmenu / business lunch, compared to other restaurants in the district I expect higher quality and lower prices.

Exactly one week ago, the four of us went there wanting to be surprised, but we also had certain expectations. I was tasked with finding something nice for the evening, and Georgian food had been on my list for a while. Even in my mind, it always seemed somewhat mysterious, exciting, and awakening a culinary sense of adventure. Well, what can I say? After successfully finding a parking spot, we entered the very beautiful and pleasantly warm restaurant, and it felt like another world. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the decor was chic yet understated. The very friendly and attentive server was quick to attend to us, gave us some advice about wine, and before we knew it, we had ordered it. Given Georgia's historical expertise, our expectations were already somewhat high. What we received was a powerful and full-bodied red wine, whose tannins chased away the cold outside and welcomed me to Georgia with open arms. ... The food was ordered quite quickly, and after a short wait, the khachapuri and other dishes arrived. They weren't just delicious, they were so magnificent that we had to admit we'd never experienced such a world of flavors before, accompanied by the superb wine. The pelmeni and dips were also exceptionally good, and the lamb and chicken main course was a true revelation. Everyone at the table was absolutely delighted and so happy to have ended up there. Despite being full, our curiosity for dessert was too great, and the honey cake and walnut ice cream were equally impressive. The price was perfectly reasonable, and if I had known beforehand that I was going to have such a wonderful evening and such a broadened culinary horizon, I would gladly pay more. A very cozy restaurant. One of the best Georgian restaurants we've eaten at in Berlin and Hamburg. The food is delicious and authentic (we've been to Georgia three times for several weeks at a time), the service is very friendly and helpful with menu choices. Overall, this restaurant comes highly recommended.

In our opinion, the 3.9 stars are a crime. We had the set menu for €39.00 each, and it was simply spectacularly good.

We went for lunch and the food was delicious! The waitress was helpful and very attentive and we enjoyed sitting outdoors as we had our meal. We highly recommend this restaurant!

This can't be called a Georgian restaurant) The only thing from Georgia there is similar wine, khachapuri is a two, lula kebab is like a boot sole. Bah. We won't go again, the prices are outrageous for the quality we got.

We were 8 people and everyone ordered Supra - 42€. I think it was overpriced, we got starters, bowls with salad and khachapury, 1 peace for a person. For a main course we got 3 vegetarian dishes and 2 meat ones. Sadly the waitress could not really explain the dishes to us. For dessert we got browney with ice cream. The food was very tasty, but not so spicy as I expect from Georgian food. I suggest that you order single dish from a menu instead of Supra - it felt too expensive

Very friendly staff. The food is well seasoned, I recommend the vegetarian stews as well as the classics like chatchapouri. You should share with your friends, makes the experience even more worthwhile. Prices are whats about to be expected in that area of town.

There was nothing left to eat from the menu, only an extra menu and you couldn't eat chicken either, so almost everything was omitted, so we decided on a meal and there wasn't even the sauce, but otherwise it was a cute shop

The Georgian restaurant surprised me with delicious, hearty food. The dishes seemed typically Georgian – fatty, rich and tasted convincing. The cheese bread was particularly good, although quite expensive at 18 euros. In general, the prices are quite high, which is not entirely appropriate given the simple ingredients. Nevertheless, it was an interesting experience and something different. I would go again, but not regularly.

Despite a reservation, there was no table available for us, so we had to leave. Very disappointing, we were looking forward to it and it's also difficult to spontaneously find something else to do on Saturday evening. Edit: We looked for a table somewhere else ourselves and were lucky that the neighboring restaurant made this possible for us. There can be no question of “providing” Schwiliko.

Super delicious food, the Shkmeruli had more than enough with the roasted potatoes as a side dish, even as a good eater! Add a glass of wine and the evening is perfect! Overall it's a little over €30. But the food is worth it. You don't eat Georgian every day.

I would like to share my impressions after visiting this Georgian restaurant. The waitress was very friendly and nice, but she was alone, doing work in the room and on the bar. Just like there is only one cook in the kitchen. The dumplings on the menu really surprised me, I even asked the waitress, but I still decided to try it, although dumplings are clearly not Georgian cuisine. We ordered one portion of dumplings and shish kebab. We waited quite a long time for our order, but it's not that bad. The dumplings were delicious, but the portion is very small, you definitely won’t be able to get enough. But the kebab for 21 euros did not even have a side dish, and the portion was small, the sauce was not for everyone, and the taste was mediocre. There is also no choice of open wine, you can choose white or red. But if you take a bottle of wine, there is little choice. This is the worst Georgian restaurant so far, perhaps my expectations were too high, because I adore Georgian cuisine, but this was our first and last time in this restaurant.

We ordered one Supra per person. There were two of us and we shared everything! Contrary to what other people have said, I have to say that the portions were really big!!! The food simply tasted great. It was our pleasure.

Unfortunately, the food didn't convince me. I found it way too expensive for the size of the portions. I found the pelmeni a bit boring. Since I grew up with homemade pelmeni at home, I of course have certain standards. But our service was super friendly and attentive. Top service.

We had a pleasant time here. I have never had Georgian food so I cannot vouch for the authenticity, but we found the food very good. Big portions, very flavorful. The waiter was very attentive and sweet. The only thing I feel is that it is a tad expensive. 19€ for only vegetables with some sauce and bread seems expensive, I would find 14€ more reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area. Because of the price point, we might not come back soon although the quality was really very good.

My first experience with Georgian food and I quite liked it. The have a good variety of menu items. The seating outside is quite nice, though inside can be a bit dark and gloomy. We found it a bit difficult to get the attention of the server, but otherwise had a very pleasant evening!

we were in this restaurant on friday the 7th of june 2024. It was for our 5 year anniversary and I wanted something different. I have seen a lot of youtube videos giving praise to the Georgian cuisine and I wanted to see what the hype was all about. I noticed that this cuisine uses a lot of Koriander and my husband is one of those people that can not stand the taste of fresh koriander so I called before to ask if that could be left out or if that was a must. The lady on the phone assured me that would not be any trouble. So we went there. We had 2 housewines the white ones . LOVED THEM. Georgia has a big whine history and I liked what I tasted. We choose the special " Supra" for us both. That is a kind of best of georgian cuisine. A feast on your table. To be honest, I am always a bit sceptical to food and I really want the food to taste extraordinary, so I was sceptical when the first entrees were served. It was a bread filled with cheese, and some round things with different tastes. First bite of that filled bread,.............OMG , what the hell is this? It is so good, why is this so amazing? I was thinking some sort of cheese tosti, but NO, It is Devine. on to those round balls, Let me warn you, if you want a taste explosion in your mouth, take a bite of those balls. We were both going insane with taste pleasure. we NEVER tasted anything like that before. and there were 5 or 6 different ones , all with a specific taste pallet. try to smear the ball things with that cheesy bread and go to heaven. Down it with the wine and go to double heaven. e were just looking at each other, what the FXXXCK is going on? My mouth just wants more . then the main course came. A sort of chicken dish ( INSANE TASTE) garlick galore , omg I loved it, then there was this porc dish that I have been dreaming of ever since. Could this be my new favorite cuisine??? now to the first down from the menu. The tomato /eggplant dish. Now to be honest, it tasted really good, but because the rest is beyond amazing, this dish is falling behind. Even though it is really amazing, but the rest is just dropping taste bombs in my mouth that it seems to be "just" really nice. on to our second glass of wine, and to dessert. Dessert was nice, ice cream and a cake thing. but this was an experience. The 2 ladies who worked there were very friendly. I can just say. GO THERE!!!!! bring toothbtrush and loads of chewing gum if you want to go out after that, because you can kills vampires from a distance with the garlick breath. But omg it is so worth it. Georgian food it the best EVER!!, and this restaurant just made a regular client. I give 5 out of 5 . Do yourself a favor and eat there. you can thank me later

We visited Schwiliko Restaurant in Berlin after work, looking forward to a pleasant dining experience. The food and atmosphere were exceptional and truly delightful. However, the service did not meet our expectations. Waitress seemed unprofessional and lacked the warmth we were hoping. Her demeanor made us feel unwelcome. It's always good to see smiling faces and warm welcome and the lack of those made us feel uncomfortable. This is based on our personal experience and expectations. Unfortunately, due to this, we have decided not to visit again this restaurant.

We georgeed for the first time. Tried the kitchen, unfortunately it stays that way. First the positive: really great atmosphere, very cozy and the girls from the service were also very friendly. But, I've never had to wait 1.5 hours for food and what came reminded me of a barbecue party at home. Unfortunately I can't say that I tasted any spices, my sour sauce tasted like pure thickened vinegar. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food.

Stay away. I called and asked if the kitchen is open. They said it’s going be open for the next 30 minutes. I came in 3 minutes. They said their colleague was wrong and they are not going serve food.

We ate Georgian food for the first time. Delicious! Well seasoned and more than filling. Very nice service lady (what do you call it without sounding stupid😉), who also answered our questions about the food very patiently. We had a lovely evening here! Recommended!

100% recommended. Service was very friendly and the food was really, really good. You can even look through a window into the kitchen and see your food being freshly prepared. We tried our way through the menu and the food was very varied and everything really tasted excellent.

Inside it is very nicely decorated. But way too tight. The food wasn't bad, but also not as good as other Georgians in Berlin. The service was nice but alone and overwhelmed. We had to wait 1.5 hours for the food. It's also expensive for what you get.

We got a really bad experience yesterday. The room looks nice, but in reality the tables are old and seem almost falling apart. From the window there comes a strong draft of wind. The waitress was nice, but overall service was bad. When we ordered the starters we had to wait for 20-30 minutes before they arrived. The starters were okay. Then when we ordered main courses, specifically 4 times meat on a stick, we had to wait again at least 30 minutes, and then the meat arrived almost cold, and it was not tasty in general. There was no side dish or anything, just plain meat with a tiny bit of onion and paprika. Btw, we were left with the same dirty plates and cutlery. We could not even finish the meat and went away. It was also quite expensive, around 40 EUR per person, without alcohol (only tea). Overall, our experience was really poor. We will not come again.
