Batumi in Berlin

The food was not bad, not amazing either, but what made us furious is different. We ordered a wine, it was written 20 euros on the menu. The bill comes, it says 32. I tell them that's not the wine we ordered, he goes to check, comes back telling us sorry you are right, with a bill stating 27 for the wine. I told him the wine costs 20 according to the menu, and I showed to him. He goes back to ask, comes back and tells us that the 20 is the old price, and it's accidentally left there. And then goes ahead and asks us to pay the price with the 27, without caring that it was actually their fault and not ours 😅 We ordered the wine believing it costs 20. We paid anyway, obviously no tip, and to his defense he didn't ask for a tip, he just typed the (wrong) amount on the POS and asked us to pay

A different kind of European cuisine, very tasty, great ingredients. Friendly staff.

We ordered shashlik, with the waitress informing us that it would take about 25 minutes to prepare. Unfortunately, we had to wait almost an hour in total – bread was served after 55 minutes, and the meat didn't arrive until five minutes later. The dish was disappointing: the meat was overcooked, tough, and already cold. The long wait and the poor quality of the food unfortunately negatively impacted our visit.

Super delicious food! The chicken ratatouille, in particular, is a true explosion of flavors, full of delicious spices! The service is friendly and attentive. Overall, though, it's not exactly cheap.

Great experience. We came here with my fiancé and my mother in law and the experience was perfect. We had their amazing food, wine was great and also the pomegranate juice. The service very nice and friendly. Very recommended. There are plenty of Georgian restaurants in Berlin, we tried almost all of them and this is one that kept good quality and decent prices

Small but fine restaurant serving Georgian cuisine. Everyone will find something to their liking. Update: It's a shame there was no singing. That would have been the highlight. Guitar and Georgian songs and singing is an experience.

There were three of us at Batumi. The khinkali were completely overcooked, so that when you picked up each of the seven, the filling and broth spilled out. Some had already risen in the pot and had no broth in them, but rather water from the boiling. The food was unseasoned and tasteless.

The food was delicious. The service was excellent! The wine was fantastic. We'd love to come back :)

I've visited the restaurant several times – with friends and family – and have been very satisfied every time. The food is incredibly delicious; my favorite dish is clearly visible in the photos 😂🤤 The service is always warm and attentive, which I personally appreciate. The portions are generous, and the prices are fair – the value for money is truly outstanding here. I always enjoy coming back and can only recommend the restaurant!

The food was barely seasoned. The table was dirty. The waiter barely spoke German. There was dirt in the sugar. The espresso was cold. He didn't understand my complaint. At least for me, this was the first and last time. I can't recommend it. Unfortunately, the service was poor.

It was a different experience. The food was also something different. If you like it, you might enjoy it. As I said, it's a culinary journey of discovery. I can only speak for myself; it was very interesting. The cheese dish is highly recommended.

Good service. The food is good overall, but very uncommon in some aspects, I like it more how it is in other places where Sakartvelo kitchen is served. Details: We ordered khachapuri, and for me, it was a bit too fatty, the dough was either not thin enough or needed to be cooked for a couple more minutes. One of the cheeses they use has a very strong taste, but it tastes like a one-week-old opened feta. In other places with the same order and the same circumstances, I easily ate whole khachapuri, but here I took home almost a 1/3 of it.

Food was good, but maybe not the best Georgian place in Berlin. Servers were very sweet. Get the appetizer platter for two!

The first time was difficult because of the choice of food. There were 5 of us there and we had reserved. The food was really delicious and we all really enjoyed it and the portions were good. We paid an average of €35.00. What bothered us a bit was the choice of drinks. Well, at least for some of us. The wine list looked good. The condition was very friendly and helpful regarding the food.

Quite a disappointment, unfortunately. The seating was much too narrow, partly under the counter🙈. The chairs for our table of 12 were uncomfortable. The staff was probably rather irritated because of the large number of table reservations. The food was just average. The employees were not aware of the pre-order of the appetizer platters. Overall, unfortunately not so good. We won't come again.

I celebrated my birthday at Batumi and I wasn’t disappointed. We were a group of 10 so we ordered quite a few different things to share and it was all really well cooked and delicious. The waiter was kind and patient with us as we decided what to try and even surprised me with some delicious honey cake and candles ☺️. I would absolutely go back and will be recommending this place to anyone looking for some scrumptious Georgian food!

A very tasty Georgian meal, great ambience, all the staff very nice and friendly, large portions, delicious Georgian wines. We like to come back again and again. Khinkali taste so delicious here! It's great that the team also offers catering. A great restaurant with good value for money. We can only recommend the restaurant!

We were there for the first time and were thrilled. The large appetizer platter was great for trying lots of different things. The veal as a main course was also very tasty. For us, the dishes were perfectly seasoned and therefore very tasty. Unfortunately, it often happens that food is too bland or overly seasoned. The restaurant is small but very stylishly decorated. We also found the probably Georgian music playing in the background very pleasant. We'll definitely be back.

Very satisfied😀😀😀, we had never been to a Georgian restaurant before and didn't know what to expect. The tarragon lemonade tastes great and the green color looks magical. We had the large mixed appetizer platter. The khinkali are super juicy and the dishes on the starter platter develop surprisingly different flavors and are prepared with a lot of heart and attention to detail. Many familiar ingredients that flattered the tongue thanks to the Georgian preparation and Georgian spices. The waiter with brown hair and a tattoo on his hand was super nice and the atmosphere was very cozy thanks to the warm light and the lovely Georgian furnishings. We'd love to come back. 100% recommendation!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

i always respect young people working but from the moment we entered the restaurant we felt very unwelcome as english speakers. the waitress completely ignored my English so i had to struggle with German. it was very disrespectful. next thing- soup. its lack of any flavor wasn’t even the worst part. my partner ordered the same soup and got it fast but i was waiting for at least 20minutes, without any acknowledgment from any of the waiters- they just acting like i was invisible. i really like georgian cuisine but all food was bland and unfortunately this was the worst experience we’ve ever had in a georgian restaurant; and it wasn’t even the food we didn’t like but extreme feeling of not being welcomed there. unwanted. it felt like the staff was tired of us the second we entered. it’s just sad.

An inconspicuous restaurant from the outside, which is decorated with Georgian flags, which also reveal the origin of the cuisine. The food is delicious and varied. Vegans can also find various dishes here. The service is quick, very friendly and helpful.

Georgian food is all right, but their choice of Georgian wine isn’t that outstanding. Book on the fork for discount.

I like the wide range of delicious appetizers and the courteous service. Unfortunately, we were so full after the large starter platter that we had to skip the main course. But the dessert (honey cake) was again incredibly good. I'll definitely come back soon.

Although the place looks cute and cozy, in terms of the dishes it is the worst georgian restaurant I’ve ever been to. We tried wine, chkmeruli, khachapuri and khinkali, with all four having nothing to do with authentic georgian cuisine. Especially khachapuri which was closer to a badly made pizza than to anything georgian. I hope to never have this experience again

Actually a pleasant atmosphere, but instead of energy-saving USB lamps, I would personally prefer a candle. The service was very friendly, wine was served professionally and the food was freshly prepared, I had ordered - Grilled vegetables in garlic sauce, with fresh cornbread. disillusioned, from the first bite, I immediately thought: Oh, there's still room for improvement. My plate showed a third of a pepper, a slice of a quartered eggplant and a whole tomato in a watery, thin soup with a splash of cream and the smell of garlic. The simple taste experience was water with garlic, that Vegetables are more like a molding material than something with their own flavor. Considering this quality, I found it to be too expensive.

I've eaten there 3 times now and ordered once, the store is great. You can tell I prefer it and I'm happy to support something like that

This was the worst order I’ve ever had, and I won’t order from Batumi Berlin again. The food was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside, which could make people sick. It didn’t feel like a real Georgian restaurant at all. Very disappointing.

BATUMi offers authentic Georgian cuisine with dishes like khachapuri and khinkali, alongside Georgian wines. Its warm atmosphere and attentive staff make it a popular choice for casual dinners or celebrations .

The food and the service, everything was phenomenal. I ordered catering for an event and everything arrived ultra-timely and very well packaged. We didn't get some of it out until 6 hours later and it wasn't just warm, but hot. All the guests were blown away by the food and I personally tried almost 1/2 of the dishes on the menu and there was absolutely nothing that I didn't like. Vegetarian guests also found the offer delicious. Personally, I can't praise the chicken dishes enough. Absolute recommendation!

The ambience of the store and the service were very good. The waitress was called Mariami and she gave us very good advice about food and especially the wine pairing. Her colleague was just as qualified. We had the large mixed appetizer platter. The spreads were very tasty, but unfortunately all the warm dishes were missing a lot of salt.

A small but very charming Georgian restaurant offering a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The dishes are authentic and incredibly tasty; I particularly recommend the juicy beef harcho and the traditional khinkali, which are cooked to perfection. It's also worth trying the aubergines stuffed with walnuts - a treat for the senses. Don't forget to round off your meal with a glass of chacha and enjoy the authentic Georgian taste!

It was late in the day when we got there. By the time we sat down, the laat people were leaving. Yet the staff was still super friendly and helpful. We had about half an hour before the kitchen closed so we had to decide what to eat fast. No regrets of our choices. Go here, try something you don't know and get the cheesy bread thing on the side. Combine that with one of their Georgian lemonades. No doubt this is on top of the list of places to go again when we come back to Berlin.

Great food, nice service. Georgian cuisine is a great change from the “usual suspects” and you should definitely try it once. The Khachapuri tasted particularly good if you like cheese.

Pleasant atmosphere, food: something different, but you have to like it. My dish, mainly two long minced meat rolls (kebabs), was well prepared and tasted good. However, the meat was very fatty - this is a matter of taste. Worth criticizing: you actually need to order extra side dishes, but then I find it quite expensive. Some of the staff do not speak German (this also happens in Berlin, but results in a small deduction from my rating.) All in all: just under 4 stars, not an annoying evening, but once is enough to get to know the country's cuisine. Certainly the restaurant may be more successful with visitors who come from this culture...

Very tasty, very rich and super nice. We went here with friends and it was unforgettable. The starter platter for 2 was easily enough for the 5 of us. The portions of the main courses were correspondingly large. Everyone gets fed up here. Everything tasted really good without exception. A great experience.

What made the visit even more enjoyable was the incredibly friendly staff. They were always helpful and gave recommendations. I visited this restaurant twice already and was always 100 % happy. The food is delicious, the staff is very nice and the menu is easy to navigate with pictures of the individual meals. During my two visits, I tried their Große gemischte Vorspeiseplatte in both of its iterations (vegan and vegetarian). Both were delicious and more than enough for two hungry people. Bonus points for the calm and ambient atmosphere. Would really recommend!

We ordered food for dinner from Batumi via Wolt. It was indeed quite tasty, but the next morning we all developed strong belly pain that stayed with us for next two days. It was the only thing we ate the same and everyone suffered the same symptoms. It seems maybe with the heat the food was not stored properly?

I ordered khinkali and the meat inside was terrible, super chewy because of all the nerves and I even found some whole vein in it, disgusting. I only ate 1 out of 5 and left the rest, the staff didn't even ask what was wrong. I also had to wait 20+ mins to get only the menu when we sat down.

I was there today. Simply delicious food. 💓 The “Badrijani” was simply outstanding. And Georgian dumplings (khinkali) with meat are definitely recommended 💓 Very nice waitress and waiter, I have to say.

We visited for lunch, and ordered meat khinkali, khachapuri, and chicken tabaka. The dishes were served quick, and were outstandingly delicious, especially khinkali. The service was good. Card payments were possible. The prices felt higher than average, but the quality was on a high level as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for Georgian cuisine.

I’ve already been 2 times, the food is very tasty, very friendly staff, I can note that I ordered ojaxuri with my girlfriend, I really liked it, juicy meat with home-made potatoes, stewed bell peppers and kimal sauce, everything is made with your own hands, which gives you a homely touch, in general I advise everyone not you will regret it!!!

Very tasty when you get it. The kitchen can't keep up. Service is really difficult to understand. One employee doesn't know what the other is doing. You wait in vain for 40+ minutes for the shashlik. Disappointing Update: you will only be charged for not having it delivered. You wait an additional 15 minutes for the invoice and another 15 minutes for the errors to be removed from the invoice. I would hate to come back here.

We were able to easily reserve a table online for 5 people at BATUMI in Berlin on the same day. The restaurant makes a stylish, casual, chic and clean impression. The music and the ambience allow you to switch off from everyday stress. The menu is clear and there is a dish for every taste (vegetarian / non-vegetarian). There are also Georgian wines that are very tasty and interesting. The food tastes good and is of good quality. The Khachapuri and the Georgian salad are definitely worth trying. There is on-street parking available. 1 star deducted because not all dishes were served at the same time (around 15 minutes difference). The staff are friendly, but a little more attention wouldn't be a bad thing. A good experience and definitely worth a visit to Berlin. Thank you for the great evening.
