I'm absolutely shocked that the waitress dared to attack me after I waited an hour and a half for chicken, and another hour and a half for a plate of hummus... I won't even mention the toilet, see for yourself... I paid €55 for a skewer of chicken and hummus, which I gave to the dog because the taste made me depressed.

Food was very good but long wait. Pleasant and restaurant was empty at 5pm.

Unfortunately, we have to confirm the negative reviews after our visit. The service was unfriendly and the food was brought to the table without any care. Plates were cleared without asking if we had finished eating – sometimes even while we were still eating. One dish consisted almost entirely of bones and was therefore inedible. In addition, the restaurant was very cold. Overall, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

I've experienced Madloba differently before – just 3-4 years ago it was impeccable. Today – a complete disappointment. The dishes themselves are probably still okay, but it's hard for me to judge since they were served late and lukewarm – mine arrived 1 hour and 20 minutes after ordering. First the main course, then the appetizer half an hour later for one of my group. Another person simply left hungry after waiting two hours for their order, as they had a long drive ahead of them. And no, it wasn't exactly packed and we had made a reservation in advance. The service was catastrophic: one waitress made faces at a customer, the card terminal was thrown on the counter, and two people in our group were each charged an extra €6. The dining room was noticeably cold the entire time – there was no coziness to speak of. The toilets were horrifically dirty, the flush was broken, the plastic paper dispenser was broken, and bits of it were lying dusty on the windowsill. I'm never going back and can't recommend it to anyone.

We used to be regulars here because of the Russian music, dancing, and delicious food, but now everything has changed. First of all, the manager, Mariko, is a nightmare. She answers with one foot in her mouth. You ask three questions, and she barely answers one; you have to suck all the information out of her yourself. We reserved a table for 10-12 people for 5 PM. Two weeks before the party, we paid a deposit and changed the time to 6 PM, confirming 12 people. In the end, we were assigned a table for 10 people at 5 PM. They brought us a small table and two plastic chairs. We had ordered appetizers in advance, but they forgot half of them, and we had to keep reminding them. The prices have gone up, understandably, but a toilet with a hole in the wall and no toilet paper and a window taped shut is, of course, a nightmare. It's unclear how the waiters are organized. They often took our plates away without asking us if we were finished. My friend approached the DJ to request a song, and he responded by saying it tasted like crap. Thank you for your honest opinion and customer focus. We ordered fries and were told they weren't available. We ended up seeing fries being brought to neighboring tables. The kebabs arrived, but they either forgot the fries or said they took too long to cook, so they were brought to us after all the kebabs had been eaten. They said the kebabs came with lavash bread, but we didn't see any lavash. I was also surprised that on Friday, when all the tables were booked, half the menu was unavailable, like lemonades. On a positive note, I'd like to mention the waitress with dark curly hair and glasses. She's simply wonderful. She tried so hard, was polite and kind, brought us a cake, organized everything, and warned us about everything. She was a ray of light on an evening where everything was going wrong. The dancers were great too.

I have never experienced such appalling service. Two impossible young women. One didn't understand anything in English or German, the other was so rude (speaking in Ukrainian) that if I were the boss, I would have thrown her out immediately. Unbelievable and shameful!!! 😡😡😡 The dishes and the Georgian wine were fantastic, kudos for that! Nevertheless, I will think twice about going back! Service is the hallmark of any establishment!

Unfortunately, the location didn't impress me either... The tables were set far too close together. There weren't nearly enough people to sit at each table compared to the number of plates on it. If the food had been good, I could have overlooked that... But even here, Madloba failed to deliver. Too little, and not good! The sauce, for example, arrived long after the meat... All in all, the entire team seemed a bit overwhelmed. Perhaps it's more relaxed in a smaller group...

Best Georgian restaurant in town!

A nice restaurant in itself, with pleasant music. But... First, we were served undercooked fish (salmon fillet), followed by a musty substitute... A culinary disgrace. And overpriced. Beforehand, after making a table reservation, we received a call telling us to order appetizers a day in advance, otherwise we would lose our table for nine people. Service is a foreign concept.

The chicken shashlik and the Napoleon cake were very tasty. The only downside is the restroom — there are no clear signs, and it’s quite a long walk to get there

The DJ is terrible. I was there a year ago and really liked it. Today it's just a nightmare.

I've been here a few times. The service is incredibly slow. The toilets are always dirty and don't flush. The khachapuri was burnt, the chicken salad had a sour sauce. Aperol was €12, half a small glass. I won't be making a special trip again. I didn't take photos; I wasn't in the mood.

We love this place. ❤️The khinkali and khachapuri are amazing! 😘We also often order delivery, and here's a big request to the restaurant team: please package the khachapuri more carefully for the cold weather. We want it warm and also to be sure no one will lick it along the way. Today, they delivered a completely cold pie—no foil, the packaging was soggy on the bottom, and the protective seal was missing. 😩 Everything was fine before, so I'm hoping it was just a minor misunderstanding. 🙂

They're apparently even allowed to smoke at their tables, which I find highly questionable when others are eating around them. The food there is good, but if you want to order it for delivery, use Uber or Wolt, do not use their website! We ordered a delivery on Madloba website for a birthday party. The food was 40 minutes late, and when it came, instead of a 100+ euro order for several people we got two khinkalies and a khachapouri that was not even part of the order! When we finally reached the restaurant by phone, they spent another 15 minutes trying to find our order. Then they assured us that the food will be ready in 20 minutes. Half an hour later they called us and asked, when our delivery is going to arrive. Yes, we were supposed to organize a delivery of an order that was more than an hour left. So, we had to spend another 20 minutes to come there by foot. In the restaurant we heard that 'they didn't see our order' (for which more than a 100 euro was paid) and 'it's not their problem, it's the website'. Also, those two dishes were our compensation for more that 10 dishes that were late (and cold by the time we got home) and a party delayed for two hours. Looks like the hospitality applies only to on-site visits.

Absolutely amazing experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every dish was a masterpiece. The service was exceptional; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and relaxing — perfect for any occasion. Food is good, but the service is terrible. It took them an eternity to bring just two khinkali. They also forgot one of our orders, and we had to wait even longer to finally get our food. Additionally, the moment we finished one of our dishes, they immediately came to take away the plates or drink bottles. They also kept removing the extra plates and wine glasses from our table one by one (we did not order wine, and we were two people sitting at a table for four). In the end, they even took our unfinished food and only remembered to ask about it after they had already taken it. I do not know if this is a common practice in Georgian restaurants, but I found it very disrespectful. I cannot enjoy my food or my time in a restaurant when someone is constantly watching my table and coming every few minutes to take things away, including my unfinished food. It is worth noting that most of the tables were empty, so they were certainly not short on plates. I think they need to understand that we pay not only for the food but also for good service, especially considering their high prices.

Madloba is an excellent restaurant for any celebration. We attended a wedding there; the food was outstanding and delicious, the interior beautiful, and the staff attentive. There's enough space for small and large weddings, and there's even a dance floor. Everything was fantastic, thank you very much.

You can't afford to pay in this restaurant and expect good service, but sometimes the customers are unfriendly towards us. The menu cards are supposed to be on the table, but the table didn't work at all. Eine bereits bezahlte Bestellung wurde auf die Rechnung gesetzt. Bisher konnten wir immer getrennt für den Tisch bezahlen, aber gestern war es aus irgendeinem Grund nicht möglich, getrennt zu bezahlen.

Everything went bad. We've been there more than once. The bartender was arrogant. The shashlik we waited for 40 minutes turned out to be raw and when we reported it, we waited another 30 minutes, but in the end they brought us dry and tasteless food. And all the other food turned out to be not as tasty as before. We asked for the bill twice, because we waited for a long time again while the waitresses discussed their important matters. In the end, one of them started to loudly complain in Georgian. Such behavior is unacceptable!

The dining room has the feel of a train station concourse and a children's playground. The white tablecloths were unironed. We waited over an hour for our food in the empty restaurant, and the waitress showed little experience when opening a bottle of wine at a good price. Sorry, but there's plenty of room for improvement in this area.

We had hoped for a celebratory meal delivered from this restaurant for my father's visit. Unfortunately, it turned into a major annoyance – and at a relatively high cost. Specific complaints: - Sazivi: Instead of juicy chicken, it contained only chicken bones – not a single piece of meat anywhere. - Grilled vegetables: lightly browned on the outside, raw on the inside – definitely not a complete grill. - Khinkali: far too spicy and over-seasoned – markedly seasoned, but simply unbalanced. - Shashlik: completely dry, lacking in juice or tenderness – a basic structure that lacked enjoyment. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Hopefully, they address these issues and improve the quality and preparation. Absolute disaster – a scam shop! We ordered two lamb dishes – they served a mixture of pork and pork, apparently hoping we wouldn't notice. When we asked, the totally unprofessional waitress argued with us, then even the chef admitted to the alleged "substitution." Anyone who cheats with meat can't be trusted. We called in for a nightcap drink on our way back to stay at a friend's home. Great friendly bar, perfect to unwind after a day touristing in Paris. So good we came back for a second night before we had to fly home. Too late for is for food.

This place has absolutely nothing to do with a Georgian restaurant. The staff was friendly – and that’s the only reason I’m even giving one star. Everything else was just disappointing. The food was bland, uninspired, and lacked any real Georgian flavor. But the real problem is the atmosphere: this place claims to be Georgian, but in reality, it’s just a Russian vodka den. The music is loud, cheap, and 100% Russian — not a single trace of Georgian culture. The guests? Mostly large groups getting ridiculously drunk. After a few shots, the chaos begins — loud, wild dancing to tasteless Russian pop, like a scene from a cheap village party. It’s loud, embarrassing, and completely disconnected from the warm, rich traditions of Georgia. If the owner is Georgian, it’s honestly shameful — because what’s happening here is nothing more than using Georgian identity as background decoration for a Russian kolonada. If you’re looking for authentic Georgian food, music, or culture — stay far away. This is not a Georgian experience. It’s just a loud, drunk Russian show.

I had enough breakfast there several times. The two ladies were visibly eager to comply with the guests' wishes (not always clear due to language barriers; therefore often misunderstandings in communication). The service is served on simple wooden tables without tablecloths, which is not the fault of the "staff"; In my opinion, there is a lack of attention to detail as well as a certain "intuition" for portion sizes... Conclusion: Quite okay for someone who wants to have breakfast and doesn't have any special demands on the food, such as warm rolls or atmosphere. There is certainly still potential for improvement.

I was there last Friday with my best friend, and I highly recommend it to everyone! For the sake of transparency, I'll mention that we knew someone who used to work at this restaurant, and our visit was "announced." However, I didn't expect such an extremely warm welcome. We received excellent advice on the food and drinks, recommendations, and I've honestly never experienced such a warm welcome in a restaurant. All the servers were very friendly and tried to chat with us, even across the language barrier. The food and drinks were both 10/10; I'm vegetarian, and we shared various vegetarian dishes. The khinkali were my personal favorite. And as for the wine—the sweet Georgian white wine. I felt more like I was having a party with lots of friends than as if it was my first time there 🫶🏻

We got together with friends to celebrate March 8th. Initially, we were denied a table reservation, saying that it was only possible to come with prepayment. The manager then contacted me and offered me a table with a time limit. There was not a word about the fact that some items from the menu are available ONLY by pre-order. We ordered salads, khinkali and drinks. The waiter took the order and said that the khinkali would have to wait about an hour. Okay, what can we do, we decided to wait. An hour and a half later, hungry, we learned that there would be no khinkali today. Outraged by our expectations, the administrator told us: “What other khinkali? Today only by pre-order, there will be no khinkali for you today.” It is worth adding that throughout the evening we were treated like unwanted guests: the waiters did not pay attention to us, when we asked for help in finding an extra chair for an additional guest, we again heard only indignation addressed to us and a refusal to solve our problem. Let me remind you that it was March 8th and we gathered to celebrate this holiday with our women's team. As you might have guessed, the holiday was completely ruined. The icing on the cake was that our check included several khinkali, which none of us had ever seen, an extra salad and a mixed up number of eggplants. After talking with the administrator, they removed the extra items from the check, but instead of somehow supporting us morally for the ruined evening, he only reproached us even more, said that the fault was entirely ours, and at some point he almost lost his temper and almost started shouting at my friend. This is what March 8 is like, girls :) I often visit this establishment, but this is the first time I’ve encountered such an attitude and this is happening in the center of Europe, it’s a shame. If you value your evening and your nerves, never go to this restaurant, there are several restaurants serving Georgian cuisine in Berlin, make a choice in their favor)

This restaurant seemed like an ideal place for a celebration, but the reality turned out to be completely different. The place was packed with banquets, but our table was reserved in advance. When two more guests joined us, they could not even provide us with chairs - the waiter only rudely replied that there were no chairs. We waited patiently for our order, but two hours later (!) we were informed that the khinkali we had been waiting for had simply run out. The lobio arrived two hours later. But the most unpleasant thing awaited us at the check - there were khinkali and snacks that were not even served to us. The administration not only did not apologize, but also stated that it was our fault, since we did not pre-order. Such disrespectful attitude towards guests leaves only disappointment. Unfortunately, this restaurant is NOT about comfort and service. I will never go back there. Wir hatten uns auf einen schönen Abend in diesem Restaurant gefreut, aber leider wurde er zu einer Enttäuschung. Das Lokal war voll mit Banketten, aber unser Tisch war rechtzeitig reserviert. Als zwei weitere Personen zu unserer Gruppe stießen, konnten wir nicht einmal zusätzliche Stühle bekommen – der Kellner sagte einfach, dass keine mehr verfügbar wären. Wir bestellten Khinkali, aber uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass wir eine Stunde warten müssten. Nach zwei Stunden wurde uns dann mitgeteilt, dass die Khinkali für uns ausverkauft waren. Das Lobio kam ebenfalls nach einer langen Wartezeit. Zu unserem Erstaunen entdeckten wir jedoch in der Rechnung sowohl Khinkali als auch Vorspeisen, die wir nie erhalten haben. Die Verwaltung reagierte darauf, indem sie uns vorwarf, dass wir keinen Deposit hinterlegt und keine Vorausbestellung gemacht hatten. Solche Unhöflichkeiten und das völlige Fehlen von Kundenservice sind inakzeptabel. Ein enttäuschter Abend, den wir so schnell nicht vergessen werden.

A great restaurant! Great food, fabulous wines. A new experience. From 8 p.m. DJ and disco. For everyone from 5 to 85 years. Many families. Only the service showed a few weaknesses. And you should know Russian.

The prices are absolutely unjustified. Offering a Chingali for €4 is a disgrace. The staff at reception were very unfriendly during our visit. This is not a Georgian restaurant, but rather a Russian one. The name should therefore be renamed to ‘Спасибо,,. Unfortunately, as Georgians we had a very short experience in this restaurant and prefer to recommend other Georgian restaurants with much more reasonable prices and better atmosphere.

Despite my advice, the lady at reception and the staff assured me in advance that this would not happen. Shameless and never experienced such a guest's request being ignored - never there again! Event: 2/19/25 at 4:45 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. I have been a guest at the Axelhotel for years and have been politically connected in the area of ​​hearing-impaired people, which has made me very embarrassed as a multiplier there! We actually wanted to organize a wedding there for a Belarusian couple, which has now been thoroughly done.

Don't be fooled by the beautiful interior - the food here is not very tasty - I personally found everything too salty or bland. The dishes are made as if by hand. There are other Georgian restaurants in Berlin that are much tastier.

Madloba (“Thank You”) is one of the few Georgian restaurants in Berlin that I didn’t know yet. The ambience is special because it is more of a hall than a classic restaurant. When we were there it was Friday and there was a wedding going on. The groom (?) asked us to dance several times - but in vain because he was too drunk. The walnut aubergines were from the fridge and with arugula instead of coriander, but the Gebshalia (sulguni cheese in a cream sauce with mint) was outstanding. My Tabaka (fried and pounded chicken) was to die for. But the best was saved for last: because one of our main dishes, a lobio (bean stew), was forgotten, we simply got a bottle of very good Imeretian saperavi (Georgian red wine) on the house! დიდი მადლობა!

Arrived here on an evening when I was in Berlin alone hoping for a glass of nice Georgian wine and had a wonderful experience. The staff was very nice and not intrusive at all though i was the only person sitting at the bar. The wine was excellent, next time I will for sure come for dinner as the whole atmosphere was so nice and friendly starring with the bouncer at the entrance and continuing with every interaction I had with the staff.

A great restaurant! The cuisine is incredibly delicious and the drinks are excellent. The entire staff is very friendly and attentive. The waiters always arrive on time and take care of all the guests' wishes. Special praise goes to the waiter Luca – he was extremely professional, friendly and made the evening even more pleasant for us. Thank you for the great service! We'll definitely be back.

Everything was ok except at the end when I asked the waiters to put at least what was barbecued and they only put one of the grills made from at least 4 left and here I mean those skewers I will also attach pictures in my description , anyway it's ok in general it's worth it.

I love this place! We celebrated here bachelorette party and birthday, on Friday there are parties with dj and dances with Russian music! Very cool

Good afternoon everyone. On November 24, 2024, my business partner and I were asked to leave the restaurant, 30 minutes after we sat down at the table and started talking in Russian. Either the administrator or the male owner approached us and asked us to take a seat at the next table, but outside the main hall, at the end around the corner, or for us to leave the restaurant. We were not drunk, we had only arrived from a business forum and just sat and talked, but in Russian. The situation is extremely unpleasant both for us and for those who were sitting next to us. From everything that happened, we and those with whom we communicated realized that they kicked us out because of communicating in Russian. For 4 years we have traveled all over Europe and been to many restaurants, but we have never encountered such an attitude as in Georgian. This is the opinion people left about the hospitality of the Georgian people. Why do this is unclear. German: Am 29.11.24 bin ich mit meinem Geschäftspartner zu Madloba Restaurant gefahren, dort waren schon unsere zahlreiche Kollegen aus dem Boost Forum. Davor habe ich bei Restaurant angerufen und mir wurde gesagt wir können kommen. Angekommen im Restaurant hat man uns gesagt, dass es ziemlich voll ist aber wenn wir Plätze finden dann können wir hier bleiben. Wir wurden an einen Tisch eingeladen und haben uns hingesetzt und auf russisch mit Gästen unterhalten. Nach ca. 30 Minuten kam Administrator (junger Mann) und hat uns aufgefordert Plätze an einem anderen Tisch außerhalb des Saals nehmen oder sein Restaurant zu verlassen. Das war eine böse Überraschung für alle die da saßen. Die Vermutung ist - wir haben uns am Tisch auf russisch unterhalten und deshalb hat es dem Administrator nicht gefallen. Wir sind seit 4 Jahren quer durch Europa unterwegs, waren in zahlreichen Restaurants und sowas noch nie erlebt. Ich denke Leute müssen erfahren, dass russischsprachige Gäste in Madloba georgischem Restauran unerwünscht sind.

Today our large group dined at this restaurant and everyone was delighted with the food and, of course, not only) the staff are very decent guys, friendly, calm, unobtrusive and always there. The food is amazing, everything is delicious! Lamb dishes are delicious! The red dry wine is excellent) I will be happy to come again! Thank you ! Glory to Sakartvelo!

So, I’ve been recommended this place by a friend, but the day we went there together, neither he or I were too happy with the food. It wasn’t bad, but the dough of the dishes was too dry. The venue is beautifully decorated and very spacious, and the staff was very kind, but it took a bit long for our food to arrive. Nonetheless I would give it another try and maybe next time I’m luckier and can change my review.

Ich traute mich am Samstagabend alleine hin und verbrachte einen authentischen georgischen Abend. Leider konnte ich nicht beide Vorspeisen aufessen, aber es war sehr lecker. Ein DJ lockte die Gäste alt und jung auf die Tanzfläche.

The food was delicious, but the price of the vodka was exorbitant. For a 0.5 bottle of Absolutely over 70 euros... Unfortunately, the atmosphere was very, very busy, so you were constantly being touched by other guests on your chair while eating. You can completely forget about hanging your handbag on the chair. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely unprofessional staff, we waited over 1.5 hours for khinkali and when it was finally served it wasn't hot enough. The Chanakhi in opposite, after apparently heating it in the microwave it was red hot and looked like mush. This was my second and last visit to this restaurant.

The content and taste of dishes are not stable, some dishes are prepared differently every time + very unfriendly service.
