I had such a wonderful experience at the Georgian restaurant. The service was outstanding friendly and truly passionate about making sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. It was such a treat to explore the rich and unique tastes of Georgian cuisine. Overall it was an amazing dining experience and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

If there were no star or a “minus star” I would like to use it here. An absolute blatant disappointment. I ordered a bread baked with cheese and egg. A flatbread with cheese was served, with a raw egg cracked into the middle. Because I didn't like it, I just asked to put the bread back in the oven to cook the egg through. This was actively, loudly and aggressively refused because it was traditional in this way. Such behavior contradicts any kind of service concept. Absolutely unacceptable for me and definitely not recommended. This simple flatbread should then cost €15 I then left the restaurant immediately. The atmosphere feels like it was at the end of the 1980s and wasn't comfortable.

Me and my family were there for the first time yesterday, 02/02/2025. The waitress was super helpful, explained the dishes and made excellent suggestions. The food was delicious and we are definitely going back there.

The real taste of Georgia in the heart of Berlin – Salhino Berlin Yesterday, my friends and I discovered a gastronomic pearl — Salhino Berlin. It was not just a dinner, but a real trip to sunny Georgia without tickets and suitcases! What did you taste? Pork kebab on a skewer is juicy, with a perfect marinade that melts in your mouth. Khinkali with meat and cheese is a real Georgian must-have, juicy, aromatic, so that you want more. Quail in garlic sauce in a pan is tender meat with a spicy touch of garlic. We drank all this generously with glasses of Kindzmarauli, a Georgian wine that adds a special charm to the evening. Atmosphere? Warm, hospitable and really cozy. The staff is friendly and attentive, and also sincerely supports Ukrainians, which was very touching. Thank you, Georgia, for such generosity of taste and soulfulness! Great food, all Georgian classics you'd expect, and delicious. Georgian wine is also very good. And service is very friendly. Whole-heartedly recommend.

There were six of us there today and we left happy and in good shape again. You just can't stop eating from the starters QARTULI and SACIWI and KHATSCHAPURI After the main courses BBQ (MTSVADI) and ODSCHAHURI, we also ate dessert with TAPLURI and QADA. Everything was so delicious and we will definitely be back. This was our third visit and so far it has always been nice. You always feel welcome and like you are meeting good friends and enjoying good food and wine with them and then going home with a smile. We'd love to come back.

We have been to this restaurant several times, but unfortunately our experiences have been negative each time. On the first visit we had food poisoning with diarrhea, and the second time the same problem was repeated - another poisoning with the same unpleasant symptoms. Although the restaurant is always busy and full of people, based on our experiences we cannot recommend it. Additionally, we heard from another guest that a hair was found in his food - another point that disappointed us. In the end, however, everyone has to decide for themselves whether they want to take this risk. One thing is certain for us: we will not visit this restaurant again.

Wie immer, super Essen und sehr nette Bedienung

We have given 4 stars for food, service and atmosphere. But we would have given 1 star for value, if such a heading existed. So we have given 3 stars overall. My wife and I had a fun evening at Salhino last night and the food and wine was good. But, since we were lured here by the positive online reviews we felt, in the interests of balance, it was fair to warn others on a budget, of how expensive this place is. Our drinks alone came to 51 Euros, and that was for one bottle of decent wine and two 70cl bottles of water. We were refused a jug of tap water. At 18 Euros, their mixed-starter of a few dips, with two small discs of aubergine, while tasty, was not very large and included no salad starters. For these you had to pay another 19 Euros. And, unlike other restaurants, their dips came with no bread-basket. If we had not bought their expensive cheesy flatbread, for another 17 Euros, I guess we would have needed to eat the dips with a spoon? We shared just one main course, the rack of lamb, for another 27 euros. For this price we hoped for something quite substantial, especially as no vegetables or sides were included, but we were served 4 modest lambchops arranged end to end on a skewer, which is not what is normally understood as a “rack” of lamb. Georgia is famed for its generous hospitality, so were just disappointed that this particular restaurant is so ungenerous and money-orientated in what they offer. Given that all we had was a couple of starters and one main with wine, but no side dishes, no desserts, no coffee, at 113 Euros without service charge, we felt we had significantly overpaid, especially compared to other delicious meals we have had in fine restaurants all over in Berlin during this trip and our many previous trips.

Absolutely recommended. The service is totally attentive and the food is excellent. Again as soon as possible.

I had dinner there with my husband today. The waiter was really very friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was really nice. Unfortunately it was simply too expensive for us. For a simple salad with tomato and cucumber €11, a small pot of eggplant casserole (which somehow wasn't a casserole) €17, 0.4 liter drink €6. I also think €5 for a side dish like rice is disproportionate. The taste was ok, but nothing special. Halloumi (10€) without sauce as a starter and the eggplant casserole was rather bland and a very small portion. But what was an absolute blast and definitely recommended is the cheese bread with egg. The waitress kindly pointed out to us that you mix the still liquid egg with the melted cheese and wow, super tasty. We would come back for that thing, but unfortunately not for the rest of the dishes. Ps. There are other prices online at Opentablet and the real prices have doubled.

Schöne Atmosphäre, freundliche Bedienung, Mega leckeres Essen! Wir hatten Maishähnchen in Milch-Knoblauchsauce und Leber in Tomatensauce und vorweg Spinat- und Rote-Beete-Pasten und Auberginen. Alles superlecker!

The room and staff were warm and inviting. 9/10 things we tried were delightful and we'll be back for 2 in particular - chicken on a skewer, and the honey cake. Both were next level.

We have been in Berlin for several days. Have tried multiple culinary experiences and this by far was the best during our trip here (and we lived in NYC). Service fantastic, food was fresh and delicious. Recommendations were great. Georgian wine was lovely and would definitely recommend. The best meal we’ve had so far and would come back again.

Die Speisen und vor allem der Wein aus Georgien sind überteuert. Ein Glas Weißwein (0,1) kostet 10€. Das Essen war ok, entsprach aber nicht unseren Vorstellungen, d.h. man vermisst die "Georgischen Gewürze". Das Ambiente ist zwar gemütlich, aber wegen o.g. Punkte keine Weiterempfehlung.

We were in Salhino yesterday, thank you for the food. Service was nice and friendly, the atmosphere was very nice, but I found the dishes small and expensive. For 4 small slices of eggplant €10 and a cauliflower starter for €20 is a bit too expensive. Maybe we ordered if.

Great place to get to know Georgian cuisine. We relied entirely on the advice and were thrilled. The German translation doesn't quite fit the dishes, you imagine it completely differently, so trust the advice. Cheese bread = more of a pizza-like flatbread with cheese gratin (super delicious), butter pastry = stollen confectionery. We'd love to come by again. Recommendation.

Typical Georgian restaurant, the selection of dishes on the menu is accordingly. The service was consistently friendly and nice, although I had to wait a long time for my food and later for my bill, even though it wasn't full. The main course was served first and then the starter a little later. Anyone who knows Eastern European cuisine knows that everything is usually served at the same time. In this case that was a little too much for me. The lamb skewer - rather carelessly prepared - was unfortunately served more well done than grilled medium, but the potatoes as a side dish and the homemade sauces were very good. The blinis filled with minced meat would have been enough as a main meal, the starter was a very large portion. Unfortunately the blinis were too greasy for me. Overall, authentic cuisine that is served here, albeit at high prices. In this respect: Good cuisine, but clearly too expensive.

Ein super sympathisches, gutes georgisches Lokal. Die Vorspeisen - insbesondere die Auberginenröllchen - sind sehr zu empfehlen, die Kinkhali auch, ebenso das Lammkarree und das selbstgebackene Brot, das auch als “Pizzateig” für die typischen gefüllten Fladen dient. Die Hausweine ergänzen das ganze gut; die halbtrockenen offenen Weine sind nicht so meins (eher süß als fruchtig, muss man mögen). Mein Tipp: geht zu mehreren hin. Die Portionen sind allesamt üppig, alleine ist man schon nach einer Vorspeise satt. Und für die Küche: kann man als einzelner Gast auch halbe Portionen kriegen?

Had a wonderful meal here. TSITELI LOBIO bean appetizer, CHANAHI and CHKMERULI chicken with garlic with excellent Georgian wine. The Chanahi, which is lamb with tomato, potatoes, eggplant and Georgian spices with a popover-style pastry on top (pictured, foreground), was truly extraordinary!

Nach einem Urlaub in Georgien haben wir nach einem Restaurant mit authentischer georgischer Küche gesucht und gefunden. Neben der hervorragenden Qualität konnten wir alle Gerichte teilen was ja auch typisch ist. Dazu freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiter. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

It was the perfect evening! I didn't even know Georgian cuisine. So we shared different dishes - and it was a real culinary delight. Since there were only two of us, we have to come back again because there are still a number of things that we definitely have to try. And we were wonderfully advised and pampered throughout the evening by a fit and very friendly team. Everything was just right. Thank you!

We were here yesterday and the food was simply great, the service was nice, friendly and gave us good advice and explained the dishes. From the outside it looks simple (the windows could do with cleaning), the interior is simple and functional, but clean, even the dishes, glasses and cutlery are all tipi topi. We will be happy to come back.

Good evening! Today I had the pleasure of having dinner at this establishment. To say that I am pleasantly surprised is almost to say nothing. For khachapuri, in Megrelian and Adjarian, I will tell you where the money is hidden))). Kurzfristig gefunden und vollkommen überzeugt! Kleines Restaurant, wo man in schönem Ambiente das sehr, sehr leckere Essen genießen kann! Wir haben zwar relativ lange zwischen Vor- und Hauptspeise gewartet, wenn’s dann aber in der Qualität kommt, warte ich gerne. Würden wir aus Berlin kommen, wären wir definitiv Stammgäste - absolute Empfehlung.

The food and service are top. Ambience is ok, sitting outside wasn't our thing, the furniture is outdated and both uncomfortable and not nice. The seat cushions had stains, that doesn't make a good impression. In the restaurant is better. It's quite small, but the food makes up for it. We keep coming back because Kchatschapuri is unique here.

Wow - this is the first time I've tasted Georgian specialties, and it was simply delicious. We had a whole range of dishes and shared with three people - you may want to do the same. Make sure to include the dumplings and ask for instructions on how to eat them. We were also delighted with the overall service and the waiter in particular. We'll definitely go there again.

Simply delicious! We had an amazing lunch there, they open a bit later for that (2pm on weekends) but it’s completely worth it! The aubergines are a must try! They are so mouth watering! The service is super nice and pleasant, they were helpful in giving us recommendations on what to try for our first Georgian food experience. I will definitely come back!

After being here with my family in February of this year and now being back in Berlin for work, I always look forward to dinner at Salhino. Very good and very tolerable food, plentiful and in a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere. Good and nice service. The drinks menu with a good selection, from Georgian beer (which doesn't have to hide) to wine, which is also highly recommended, leaves nothing to be desired. Over the years I have been here at least 7-8 times and have always found consistent quality. That's quite an achievement! Here’s to many more dinners in the future! The boring money: starter, main course and drinks, not skimpy, around € 50 per person. More than adequate given the range and quality. Reservations are easy online and definitely recommended!

Nachdem ich schon im Februar diesen Jahres mit der Familie hier war und jetzt wieder beruflich in Berlin bin, freue ich mich immer wieder auf das Abendessen im Salhino. Sehr gutes und auch sehr verträgliches Essen, reichlich und in entspannter, schöner Atmosphäre. Guter und netter Service. Die Getränkekarte mit guter Auswahl, vom georgischen Bier (das sich nicht verstecken muss) bis zum ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswerten Wein lässt keine Wünsche offen. Über die Jahre war ich jetzt mindestens 7-8 Mal hier und habe immer eine gleichbleibende Qualität vorgefunden. Das ist schon eine Leistung! Auf noch viele Abendessen in Zukunft! Der schnöde Mammon: Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und beim Getränke nicht gegeizt um die € 50 pro Person. Bei dem Angebot und der Qualität mehr als angemessen. Reservierung problemlos auch online und auf alle Fälle zu empfehlen! Kartenzahlung akzeptiert.

We were immediately warmly welcomed! When the waitress realized that we had never eaten Georgian before, she immediately gave us recommendations and we were not disappointed. 🤗 We had Phkali, Megruli (the cheese bread) and the rack of lamb on the spit. Everything tasted excellent, especially the meat was indescribably tender and very well seasoned. The restaurant itself is very cute and nicely decorated. Keep it up! I remember: somewhere in November 2023, the two of us came in and wanted to have lunch. There were few people in the restaurant. A woman came up and shooed us away. The Georgians came immediately and she let them in. If you are not Georgian, you have little chance of eating here.

Vorspeisen wirklich gut. Dessert leider nicht frisch. Bärtige Bedienung wusste alles besser und brachte dann doch nicht wie verabredet die Speisen. Um kurz nach 22h00 wurden wir freundlich hinsuskomplimentiert, obwohl wir gerne noch geblieben wären.

Sehr gute Küche, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Vom Preis absolut in Ordnung. Es gibt zu jeder Speise eine Empfehlung, was gut kombinierbar ist. Und vor allem, wie am besten gegessen wird, ohne sich zu bekleckern 😉 Als Gast fühlt man sich willkommen. Die Leute sind sehr aufmerksam und zurecht stolz auf die georgische Küche.

Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker und authentisch. Man hat den Eindruck, dass das Essen mit Liebe und Hingabe zubereitet wurde. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und warmherzig. Man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt und hat direkt Lust bekommen, nach Georgien zu reisen und das Land kennen zu lernen.
