Very friendly environment with amazing people and very tasty food. 100% recommended.

Typical Georgian restaurant, the selection of dishes on the menu is accordingly. The service was consistently friendly and nice, although I had to wait a long time for my food and later for my bill, even though it wasn't full. The main course was served first and then the starter a little later. Anyone who knows Eastern European cuisine knows that everything is usually served at the same time. In this case that was a little too much for me. The lamb skewer - rather carelessly prepared - was unfortunately served more well done than grilled medium, but the potatoes as a side dish and the homemade sauces were very good. The blinis filled with minced meat would have been enough as a main meal, the starter was a very large portion. Unfortunately the blinis were too greasy for me. Overall, authentic cuisine that is served here, albeit at high prices. In this respect: Good cuisine, but clearly too expensive.

Food Quality: delicious khachapuri. Perfect amount of cheese and freshly made. Definitely recommend. Portions: very good portions. Even had to take some to go. Drinks: softdrinks on tap, wines, and typical options. Price: $$ nice decent prices for good food. Service: very friendly and quite fast. Had a wonderful meal here. TSITELI LOBIO bean appetizer, CHANAHI and CHKMERULI chicken with garlic with excellent Georgian wine. The Chanahi, which is lamb with tomato, potatoes, eggplant and Georgian spices with a popover-style pastry on top (pictured, foreground), was truly extraordinary!

Nach einem Urlaub in Georgien haben wir nach einem Restaurant mit authentischer georgischer Küche gesucht und gefunden. Neben der hervorragenden Qualität konnten wir alle Gerichte teilen was ja auch typisch ist. Dazu freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiter. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We have been to this Georgian restaurant several times and each time it has turned out to be an absolute highlight. I can particularly recommend the tomato cucumber salad with walnuts - simply incredibly delicious! We like to come back again and again. Very nice service!

It was the perfect evening! I didn't even know Georgian cuisine. So we shared different dishes - and it was a real culinary delight. Since there were only two of us, we have to come back again because there are still a number of things that we definitely have to try. And we were wonderfully advised and pampered throughout the evening by a fit and very friendly team. Everything was just right. Thank you!

We were here yesterday and the food was simply great, the service was nice, friendly and gave us good advice and explained the dishes. From the outside it looks simple (the windows could do with cleaning), the interior is simple and functional, but clean, even the dishes, glasses and cutlery are all tipi topi. We will be happy to come back.

Good evening! Today I had the pleasure of having dinner at this establishment. To say that I am pleasantly surprised is almost to say nothing. For khachapuri, in Megrelian and Adjarian, I will tell you where the money is hidden))). And the lamb, and the chicken, and the bull lived their lives not in vain to end it so vividly on the tip of a fork (sorry Greenpeace). Everything is worth attention. Kurzfristig gefunden und vollkommen überzeugt! Kleines Restaurant, wo man in schönem Ambiente das sehr, sehr leckere Essen genießen kann! Wir haben zwar relativ lange zwischen Vor- und Hauptspeise gewartet, wenn’s dann aber in der Qualität kommt, warte ich gerne. Würden wir aus Berlin kommen, wären wir definitiv Stammgäste - absolute Empfehlung.

The food and service are top. Ambience is ok, sitting outside wasn't our thing, the furniture is outdated and both uncomfortable and not nice. The seat cushions had stains, that doesn't make a good impression. In the restaurant is better. It's quite small, but the food makes up for it. We keep coming back because Kchatschapuri is unique here.

Wow - this is the first time I've tasted Georgian specialties, and it was simply delicious. We had a whole range of dishes and shared with three people - you may want to do the same. Make sure to include the dumplings and ask for instructions on how to eat them. We were also delighted with the overall service and the waiter in particular. We'll definitely go there again.

Simply delicious! We had an amazing lunch there, they open a bit later for that (2pm on weekends) but it’s completely worth it! The aubergines are a must try! They are so mouth watering! The service is super nice and pleasant, they were helpful in giving us recommendations on what to try for our first Georgian food experience. I will definitely come back!

After being here with my family in February of this year and now being back in Berlin for work, I always look forward to dinner at Salhino. Very good and very tolerable food, plentiful and in a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere. Good and nice service. The drinks menu with a good selection, from Georgian beer (which doesn't have to hide) to wine, which is also highly recommended, leaves nothing to be desired. Over the years I have been here at least 7-8 times and have always found consistent quality. That's quite an achievement! Here’s to many more dinners in the future! The boring money: starter, main course and drinks, not skimpy, around € 50 per person. More than adequate given the range and quality. Reservations are easy online and definitely recommended!

Nachdem ich schon im Februar diesen Jahres mit der Familie hier war und jetzt wieder beruflich in Berlin bin, freue ich mich immer wieder auf das Abendessen im Salhino. Sehr gutes und auch sehr verträgliches Essen, reichlich und in entspannter, schöner Atmosphäre. Guter und netter Service. Die Getränkekarte mit guter Auswahl, vom georgischen Bier (das sich nicht verstecken muss) bis zum ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswerten Wein lässt keine Wünsche offen. Über die Jahre war ich jetzt mindestens 7-8 Mal hier und habe immer eine gleichbleibende Qualität vorgefunden. Das ist schon eine Leistung! Auf noch viele Abendessen in Zukunft! Der schnöde Mammon: Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und beim Getränke nicht gegeizt um die € 50 pro Person. Bei dem Angebot und der Qualität mehr als angemessen. Reservierung problemlos auch online und auf alle Fälle zu empfehlen! Kartenzahlung akzeptiert.

While a bit expensive, it was worth it! All of the food was delicious and worth the train ride there. Would absolutely go again!

We were immediately warmly welcomed! When the waitress realized that we had never eaten Georgian before, she immediately gave us recommendations and we were not disappointed. 🤗 We had Phkali, Megruli (the cheese bread) and the rack of lamb on the spit. Everything tasted excellent, especially the meat was indescribably tender and very well seasoned. The restaurant itself is very cute and nicely decorated. Keep it up! We will definitely come back again. ❤️

I remember: somewhere in November 2023, the two of us came in and wanted to have lunch. There were few people in the restaurant. A woman came up and shooed us away. The Georgians came immediately and she let them in. If you are not Georgian, you have little chance of eating here.

Vorspeisen wirklich gut. Dessert leider nicht frisch. Bärtige Bedienung wusste alles besser und brachte dann doch nicht wie verabredet die Speisen. Um kurz nach 22h00 wurden wir freundlich hinsuskomplimentiert, obwohl wir gerne noch geblieben wären.

Cozy restaurant with delicious freshly prepared food

Sehr gute Küche, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Vom Preis absolut in Ordnung. Es gibt zu jeder Speise eine Empfehlung, was gut kombinierbar ist. Und vor allem, wie am besten gegessen wird, ohne sich zu bekleckern 😉 Als Gast fühlt man sich willkommen. Die Leute sind sehr aufmerksam und zurecht stolz auf die georgische Küche.

Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker und authentisch. Man hat den Eindruck, dass das Essen mit Liebe und Hingabe zubereitet wurde. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und warmherzig. Man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt und hat direkt Lust bekommen, nach Georgien zu reisen und das Land kennen zu lernen.

First experience with Georgian food, absolutely wonderful experience, the food was beyond anything I could have expected: delicious, comforting, surprizing in the most positive way. A must go and will definitely go back!

I love the food and the atmosphere here! The service is attentive and friendly, making every visit a pleasure. I make it a point to come back with friends and family from abroad, and they always leave with smiles on their faces :)

Badagoni Mukuzani (dry wine) €37. Qartuli (salad with choped walnuts), badrijani (eggplan rolls with walnut paste), cheese khinkali (3 or 5pc), lobio, sturgeon shashlik €27, ascharuli kachapuri (unfortunately only single portion).

We asked for one bottle of water too many and asked to take it back, sealed and untouched. The waitress said she couldn't because it was already "registered". What a non-sense. Imagine when there are mistakes in the orders. 🫢

Today I finally went to my favorite Georgian restaurant with friends again. The food is excellent, the atmosphere and service are cozy, friendly and incredibly accommodating. Everything is just right here for me. Especially as a lover of this cuisine. The Quevri wines are definitely recommended for wine lovers!

Great! The food was really very good. The lamb was very tender and incredibly flavorful. With grand apple, chill, and at least a handful of love, the perfect mix between Orient and Occident. The whole experience was rounded off with a greeting from the kitchen. There was so much delicious food, we would have liked a few more centimeters of space. The tables are a bit narrow for a large feast. We would like to come again. A clear recommendation.

*Khatschapuri TOP* The Salhinho is a Georgian restaurant which is very cute and traditionally decorated. The service overall was really great. The starters (Badrajani and Qartuli) were delicious but a bit expensive at €10. The main courses in the Salhino Restaurant, including (Kebabi, Khatschapuri, Julien and Chahani), were consistently delicious. The cheese bread (Khatschapuri) particularly stood out, a real culinary delight. The variety and quality of the main courses make this restaurant a worthwhile culinary address. Overall, a recommended experience, despite the slightly higher price for all dishes and the long waiting time.

Reservierung hat perfekt geklappt. Essen war in nunmehr schon gewohnter Weise sehr gut. Service wie immer zuvorkommend und diskret. Immer wieder gerne.

Ich war das 2. Mal dort und werde sicherlich auch wieder hingehen. Alles, was ich bisher probieren konnte, war superlecker. Der Service ist total freundlich und aufrichtig. Ich fühle mich dort willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Auch meine Begleitung war begeistert. Wir kommen wieder.

Ich war mit einer georgischen Freundin dort essen und habe mir die georgische Küche zeigen lassen. Das Essen war sehr gut und auch die traditionell georgische Einrichtung und der Service haben uns gefallen. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend dort verbracht.

Unfortunately, my visit to the Georgian restaurant Salhino was disappointing and I can only give it 1 out of 5 stars. Although the offering is vaguely reminiscent of Georgian cuisine, it lacks authenticity and quality. The khachapuri was made from an untraditional dough, which is a far cry from what you would expect in a real Georgian restaurant. The khinkali were too soft and fell apart as soon as you tried to eat them, and the meat was over-seasoned. They also gave the impression that they were not formed by hand but made by machine, which is completely unacceptable for an authentic Georgian restaurant. Overall the food seemed like an inadequate imitation of the rich and varied Georgian cuisine, which was a major disappointment.

The Georgian restaurant offers excellent food and first-class service. The dishes are authentic and deliciously prepared, and the staff is extremely attentive. Here you feel really close to Georgian culture. A MUST every time you visit Berlin!!

Das Essen war fantastisch, nicht ganz günstig aber es hat sich gelohnt. Original georgische Speisen und auch der Service war georgisch. Wein war auch lecker. Einfach mal was anderes!

Leckeres essen,heimische Atmosphäre.

Zu aller erst, das Ambiente war wirklich sehr hübsch und der Service war auch okay. Mein Gericht war das einzige vegetarische Gericht bei den Hauptspeisen, Pilze mit Käse überbacken… Es hat leider nur nach verbrannten Kräutern und Gewürzen geschmeckt. Bei den Zwischengängen gab es noch ein paar vegetarische Speisen, aber auch nichts dolles dabei. Meine Freunde hatten etwas mit Fleisch, alles sehr lieblos angerichtet. Preis Leistung hat überhaupt nicht gestimmt. Für die Pilze habe ich 18€ bezahlt, da war nicht mal eine Beilage bei, da hätte man nochmal 5€ drauf zahlen müssen!!! War absolut enttäuscht und habe mich unendlich geärgert für so ein schlechtes Gericht so viel Geld ausgegeben zu haben.

Everything was incredible - such an interesting assortment of flavors thanks to the varied use of herbs and spices. Even the table bread stood out above any other we had on our trip. Make sure to end the meal with a honey cake and some Turkish coffee.

Cosy traditional Georgian restraunt. Everything was tasty and served fast and well. Though if you are looking for chenkali - try to order in advance as everything is fresh made and there was not enough ready for more than a couple of servings at the time we were there. Update: a couple of years later it is still a good place to visit. Tea with honey cake was a delight. Small soup is almost the same size as large one.

Durchaus einen Besuch wert: Guter Service, netter Empfang und leckeres Essen. Doch dafür sind die relativ hohen Preise nicht ganz nachvollziehbar. Beispiel: Drei kleine Portionen Pasten und zwei geschmorte Scheiben Auberginen (Phkali Mix) kosten 16€ - Brot muss extra bestellt werden.

Ambiente und Gastfreundlichkeit war richtig herzlich. Würde empfehlen zu reservieren. Wir hatten u.a. Suppe (Hartscho), Atscharuli und Khinkali. Alle Gerichte wurden frisch und heiss serviert. Mein Highlight war die Suppe. Einen Punkt Abzug gibts leider für den Preis. 17.50€ für 5 Khinkali fand ich etwas saftig. Aber würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und weiter empfehlen :)

Zu unseren zwei Liter Hauswein durften wir kein Leitungswasser bekommen. Sehr sympatisch, vielen Dank. ;) Bei einem Preis von 7,50 € für ein 0,2 Hasuwein unglaublich unverschämt. Essen ist gut, Preise jedoch zu hoch. Preis-Leitung daher eher im unteren Mittelfeld. Werden nicht wieder hingehen.

Die Mitarbeitern waren alle sehr nett aber es hat ein paar mal passiert dass sie uns Brot empholen haben obwohl wir gesagt haben dass wir kein platz im bauch mehr gehabt hatten. Als Kellnerin guter verusuch aber ein Mal fragen hat es genügt.

Sehr gutes Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre, nette und umsichtige Bedienung. Ein gelungener Abend und absolut empfehlenswert. M.

Wer Lust auf eine kleine Kurzreise nach Georgien hat, ist hier genau richtig! Das Restaurant ist sehr süß eingerichtet, mit traditionellen Dekorationsartikeln und sehr gut gepflegt! Alle probierten Gerichte waren sehr lecker und falls man Entscheidungshilfe benötigt, ist das Personal proaktiv zur Stelle! Ich komme gerne wieder!!!

Das Restaurant war wenig besucht. Es ist nett eingerichtet und sauber. Ich wurde zügig und freundlich bedient. Hatte eine große Portion eines "Zwischengerichts" mit Aubergine, Paprika etc. Eine der wenigen vegetarischen Optionen, gerade bei den Hauptgerichten ist das Angebot sehr fleischlastig. Leider war das Gericht etwas verwürzt und zu salzig. Das Brot muss extra dazu bestellt und bezahlt werden. Eine tendenziell durchschnittliche Erfahrung. Die beiden anderen Restaurants, die ich in Berlin bisher ausprobiert habe, haben mir besser gefallen.

Eher nüchtern eingerichtet Restaurant, mit kleiner Speisekarte. Im Vergleich zu 2 anderen georgischen Restaurants in Berlin (Prenzlberg, Hohenzollerndamm) fand ich es eher mässig. Keine Vorspeiseplatte erhältlich, nur einzeln bestellbar, die dann klein und verhältnismäßig teuer (gezupftes Huhn, also Hühnersalat, Aubergine mit Wallnusspaste etc) dazu dann georgisches Kebab, für Letzteres dann 20€ ohne jegliche Beilage. Nun ja.....muss nicht nochmal sein mit 0,5 Wein am Ende für 40€ proPerson.

Buen sitio para cenar, buena comida, los entrantes son geniales, buena atención y ambiente.

Wir haben das Restaurant gestern zum ersten Mal besucht. Das Essen war wirklich lecker. In einem tollen Ambiente. Service und Personal waren zuvorkommend und freundlich. Alles in allem ein Top-Erlebnis.

The lady in the bar was a bit rude in the beginnig saying they were fully booked, there was 1 hour room before the next reservation however all their food she said takes more than an hour to be prepared, so I can not be served. When I asked for Khinkali only, she accepted me and I ordered a soup with meat and rice which was tasty however 8 euro was overpriced for small portion. I have paid 10.5 euro for only 3 Khinkali and they were far away from being tasty, mostly raw dough, not a pleasant experience. I will not return because it is really overpriced place with small portion and average taste.
