The place is nice, the atmosphere is very good but I did not like the flavors

I was with a few friends today. Unfortunately I have to say that the price performance is not justified. Like the last time I was there, I had to send my food back because the quality of the preparation was poor. The restaurant wasn't overcrowded this time either and yet I was presented with a Wiener Schnitzel (not Viennese style), which was presented greasy with limp breading that stuck to the meat. (Price about 28 euros). After I let it go back and got a schnitzel back, the quality was ok. Once again I couldn't eat with my guests because the kitchen didn't manage to deliver the same quality at the same table. The service was definitely worth 5/5 stars. In my personal opinion, the quality in the surrounding Cologne breweries is better and the price performance is more appropriate. That was the last attempt to eat with renowned guests in this restaurant. P.S. But big praise for the service!

Really nice schnitzel. Very hard working woman who served us- she was lovely. Beer is local and cheap. All the food was amazing. Very hearty portions so you might want to share!

Really good location, probably best suited for a sunny day if eating outside. Good portion food and really good, just made a few mistakes on food and slow service. You’ll probably have to pay to go the toilet, in coins or bread rolls it would seem haha But overall a solid location for some good German food

As soon as you enter, you can feel the loving decor – as if you were sitting in Grandma's living room. The menu is wonderfully down-to-earth: hearty dishes just like home, plus changing seasonal specialties made with fresh ingredients. I especially recommend the homemade meatballs – a dream! And if you like, enjoy a freshly tapped Kölsch beer or a classic filter coffee – just like in the old days, only better. The service was warm, attentive, and authentic – you immediately feel welcome. And best of all: the prices are absolutely fair for what you get. In conclusion: "Grandma's Kitchen" is not a restaurant, but a feeling. If you like nostalgic, delicious, and cozy food, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back! 🥰😎✌️

Nice place to end the sunny day. The beer garden is self-service. The line for new drinks was always a little longer that evening.

We had eaten there. I have a slice of liver cheese and an egg counted fried potatoes. And for that 14.90 euros. outrageous. Never again

The two of us sat down on the terrace. The waiter went to three tables and deliberately ignored us because we maintained eye contact and were sitting right next to the other three tables. He couldn't have missed us! After 20 minutes, we asked a nice lady if we could get something to drink. She kindly told us that we would have to sit down if we wanted something. We left anyway because we were thirsty, thanks to the bald waiter.

We had a beer 🙃 and had something to eat, beautiful location, friendly service, ample parking, also a large semi-covered terrace.

Ein Restaurant in dem es nichts zu essen gibt, weil die Küche überlastet ist. Uns wurde bei Ankunft ausgerichtet das es 20 Minuten dauert bis die Küche wieder Bestellungen an nimmt, warten mussten wir dann 1 Stunde bis zur Bestellung und noch mal weitere 30 minuten bis das essen dann am tisch war. Auf einem Schild wird darauf hingewiesen das man keine eigenen Speisen mitbringen darf, schade so hätte der Gast wenigstens etwas zu essen in einem Restaurant. Ich war jetzt zum letzten Mal hier, denn das kam in der Vergangenheit schon mehrfach vor.
