We went there for brunch. The food and service were excellent. We'd be happy to go again.

We were there with a large group, and the service was great. We also really enjoyed the ambiance, and the food was fantastic. We had brunch, and the buffet selection was extensive and truly delicious. The coffees were very good. BUT the non-alcoholic cold drinks were awful. A bottle of water costs over €8. A single glass of water costs almost €4. And not a single one of the lemonades/spritzers tasted good (several people in our group tried each of the different drinks, and everyone agreed). We suspect that each of the lemonades and spritzers was simply made with a thick splash of syrup. Everything tasted extremely artificial and of a lot of sweetener, and if you made the mistake of accidentally using a straw to drink the syrup floating at the bottom first instead of stirring everything, you'd end up with nothing but sweet water. Wilma Wunder is expensive. It's justified for the good food. Unfortunately, it's absolutely not for the tasteless lemonades and spritzers and the exorbitantly expensive water. The ambiance and food were great - the hot drinks we had were also very good - but stay away from the spritzers/lemonades.

The shop itself is really nice and would therefore have a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. The service and food were disappointing. The staff seemed overwhelmed and at the same time arrogant. We hardly experienced any friendliness or attentiveness, and the food was also completely underwhelming. It's a shame, because the location actually had a lot of potential.

Nice place, wine for €19 a bottle, sounds like a perfect evening... actually. The waiter initially stood at our table like a security guard outside the VIP area and practically urged us to order more food, even though we'd already ordered wine. Subtly annoying and somehow tense. After that, things took a complete turn: Suddenly, it was really difficult to order anything at all. The fries came without sauce, and only after asking several times did it finally arrive... of course, only after the fries were long cold. In short: great wine, lovely ambiance, absolute flop of service. Unfortunately, for us, it was more frustrating than surprising.

We really like Wilma Wunder. We've been to Cologne and Mainz, and we were so impressed by both restaurants that we went back again. Delicious food, lovely ambiance, and very friendly staff. We'd love to come back...

Not recommended! We wanted to try the restaurant with a discount through Neotaste – unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. • The food was really bad: • The avocado cream was catastrophically inedible. • The yogurt with muesli tasted like it was spoiled. • The pancakes were also bad overall, so the taste was truly awful: way too salty pancakes and then something sweet on top. • When paying, we couldn't redeem our Neotaste discount because we "should have told them in advance." If that's so important, the staff could have asked when ordering. They know they have a discount for today. On top of that, they said orders couldn't be canceled – which I highly doubt. Almost €30 for nothing – completely overpriced for such awful taste. Definitely not recommended.

After we complained to the manager about an employee's behavior (rolling her eyes and gossiping behind our backs after we pointed out a hair in the food), this employee ignored us. We either have to wait forever to place our order or we have to take action ourselves and order at the counter like today or ask an employee if we can pay. This is very unprofessional behavior, especially since the criticism was justified. We otherwise think the team is good. But this is a bit cheeky and a shame because otherwise we find the team very nice. We also find the management and other staff friendly. We will think again about how we will handle the situation because we actually enjoy going to Wilma's for lunch, they are also our immediate neighbors. After today's visit, we wish you all the best.

We went to Wilma Wunder for brunch. The selection could have been a bit larger, and some of the hot dishes were unfortunately no longer hot (especially the salmon). The coffee also didn't taste great. However, we were very pleased with the friendly and attentive service.

Rouladen, quite salty, but it remains my favorite German dish. 🥰 Red cabbage and fries instead of pasta. Atmospheric restaurant, sometimes too crowded.

The ambience was really nice and the menu offered plenty of vegetarian options as well. I had a delicious schnitzel with potato salad — generous portions and very satisfying. In the evening, it’s also a great spot to enjoy a drink, and the cocktails were excellent

The value for money for the brunch buffet was disappointing. €25 excluding drinks for a selection that was partly stale. We had a table at 12:00, and there were many dishes we weren't going to eat. We'd rather go a la carte, get fresher dishes, and pay less.

I've been there twice for breakfast and I'm very satisfied. With the all-you-can-eat breakfast, you get an orange juice. Drinks are also included. The selection is very large and always beautifully presented. You can also find little unusual items that you won't find at every breakfast place. The seating is great, and the interior is super nice.

German menu, well-prepared dishes. Fast and courteous service. I ate lunch outside and have nothing negative to say. The bathrooms, however, definitely need fixing: in the one with the changing table, there was a mess in the sink and the toilet was unusable (even though there was a sign outside warning of the problem), while in the women's restrooms, a toilet was broken and one of the two sinks didn't work either.

Everything was great! Only the wait time was a bit too long.

Aside from the dirty table and the fly-ridden salmon at the buffet, the Becel margarine had been expired for two months!!! and the rolls were moldy. (Photos attached) The staff didn't apologize for this situation. Unfortunately, we had to cut short our breakfast and leave... I recommend that if you're looking for a nice brunch, go somewhere else.

5 stars – wholeheartedly! The waiters? Simply amazing – attentive, relaxed, and always up for a laugh. The ambiance is super cozy, you immediately feel at home. And the cocktails… wow! So delicious you almost forget to share them (I didn't either 😉). Perfect place for a relaxing day/evening with friends. I'm a fan!

I went there spontaneously on a Saturday morning without a reservation. They offer an interesting menu, and you'll be surprised.

I've given it full marks, even though we only ordered for delivery. All the dishes tasted fantastic. Unfortunately, they didn't arrive quite as hot, but that was to be expected given the distance. The transport boxes each have multiple compartments, and other ingredients (truffle mayo, cranberries) were delivered in separate, sustainable packaging. You could both see and taste the restaurant's effort. The vegetarian dish with the dumplings was significantly smaller than the other dishes (perhaps they could add another slice). Overall, though, the food was fantastic; the taste made up for everything!

Unfortunately, the food at brunch got cold quickly.

We stopped at Wilma for lunch. The truffled fries were delicious, though they could have used a bit more salt, which is certainly a matter of taste. The salmon tarte flambée with greens and the spaetzle were delicious and very generously portioned for a good price! The service was a bit slow, which isn't to detract from the friendly manner of the waiter who served us. It was just that, despite the low number of customers, there was apparently a lack of staff on site, which resulted in a slightly rushed atmosphere, which also led to us forgetting our orders and cutlery. If the waiter had had more colleagues, he certainly wouldn't have made this mistake. Otherwise, we'd be happy to come back; finally, we had some regular German food, not a brewery, in a good location.

On my regular visits to Wilma, I'm always excited to see how I'll like it. The bottom line is, it's actually 4 out of 5 points - for me! There are great drinks, regular seasonal menus, a basic menu, and a really cozy location. The service is top-notch 4 out of 5 times - like everywhere, there are also not-so-great days 🤷

So, unfortunately, this place isn't really for cocktails. The ambiance is nice, but the rest isn't.

We always feel well looked after here

The server was polite, but we had to wait a long time for ketchup and mayo. The fries were almost gone. I would advise against the inedible schnitzel. The schnitzel was fried in such old fat that it tasted extremely bitter. It wasn't crispy either, but rather mushy. Simply disgusting! And it was an exception: both schnitzels were inedible. And for €25. Unbelievable!!!

We were there for brunch, which was OK but nothing more. The scrambled eggs were too dry and the goulash was too tough to eat. The rest was OK but not great. The waiter was very nice and the cleanliness was also good.

We had Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad here, and it was absolutely fantastic! The desserts also look very good, but we didn't try them. The service staff are all very friendly and attentive; I'll be happy to come back next time I'm in Cologne :-)

Super nice shop, and the food and drinks are top-notch. You always have to wait a long time for a server. Something has to change, unfortunately.

🤔 The menu is very limited for vegetarians, and charging almost €16 for the tarte flambée is a bit bold. The service was super friendly and quick. The ambiance is reminiscent of an airport waiting area with tables and benches. I wouldn't recommend it, as there are much better options nearby.

Absolutely love the atmosphere at this centrally-located restaurant in Cologne. Delicious food and reasonable pricing in my opinion. The colour of the Matcha lattes is a bit off-putting (Looks more blue than green).

Unfortunately, I wasn't served after 20 minutes.

I had breakfast here this morning on July 10th and have never been served so rudely in my life. When we tried to place our orders, the waitress rolled her eyes, made rude comments, and when I asked for the restroom, I was harassed. I love Cologne and its people, but I've never experienced anything like this before. We won't be coming back. It's a shame, because we often enjoyed eating here.

The portion is pretty small for the price imo. It was ok, not the best schnitzel I’ve tried.

Really liked the decor of the place. The serving lady is extremely rude. Decent food but the portion of meat in the dishes are quite less for the price. We had a schnitzel and roulade, both were not filling portions.

We were here with a very large group for brunch on Pride Sunday 🏳️‍⚧️🏳‍🌈 The buffet is very extensive and varied. There are typical breakfast dishes (scrambled eggs, rolls, pancakes, yogurt, cold cuts), as well as fresh salads, desserts, and even proper meals (croquettes, red cabbage, fish, roast meats). All dishes are labeled. It would be nice to note which ones are vegetarian/vegan. I would have preferred smaller bowls for the yogurt and dried fruit so that everything doesn't become a mess. If you're here for the first time, you'll be a bit overwhelmed and have to gather everything yourself. The dishes are kept warm and constantly refilled. Leon was a very friendly waiter and was in charge of our table 🙌🏼 the other waiters were also very nice. Unfortunately, our drinks didn't come through a few times, and we had to wait a long time and reorder. We also couldn't order from all of them. The system doesn't seem to be working quite as smoothly yet. That was our point of criticism.

It's always a matter of opinion, of course, but the tarte flambée wasn't the best, and I didn't like the ice cream at all. But the service was nice and the location was okay. There's currently a construction site across the street. It was very loud.

The location and food are top-notch, as are the other locations. Unfortunately, the service is abysmal. Poor communication within the team, which can happen when the house is full, and they respond to our questions with rude and cheeky responses. Sorry, we won't be seeing this location again.

We went to this restaurant yesterday. We didn't feel welcome. The waitress only came when called. She spent most of her time standing with her colleague, chatting. We sat for a long time with empty glasses and would definitely have ordered more if we'd been served properly. I wouldn't recommend it.

Great restaurant, impeccable service, and definitely the best truffle fries in Germany 😉 The restaurant was full, but you couldn't tell the staff was stressed. The drinks and food were very good and came quickly. Definitely recommended.

How can you serve such mold? It's a disgrace. The concept is appealing, but the content and quality are simply disgusting.

Food was great, service was ridiculous. We got in at 11:30 for our reservation, the waitress did not even acknowledge us for about 20 minutes, we looked to place an order, however they stated it was the lunch menu and we have to order at 12:30, even though the menu said 12:00. We proceeded with ordering (had to get up and go to till because no one approached us), all the ladies did not look like they cared at all. It was a shame, as the food was very good. Upon paying the bill, my wife got ignored multiple times, and the waitress served others before her. Not sure why at all but they were just exceptionally rude to us. Would never come back.

Yes, it's a very nice place, whether with friends or colleagues. The food is good and it's centrally located. You can take some great photos.

The ambiance has been better. Restrooms without paper. Staff stood bored at the counter. When ordering, they asked across the table who wanted an appetizer, which was difficult to ensure everyone heard with a larger group. At the end of the table, he was visibly annoyed when another soup was added, saying he had to delete everything he had previously recorded. After dinner, some people sat with the dessert menu, and they only asked for drinks.

We visited this place for brunch and were not impressed with the food. Especially as prices are rather high for Cologne. The service was good and friendly though. Yet none of our group of five was happy with their dish. Examples: Half of the plates were covered by green salad leaves. Eggs were cold. Dry bread. Eggs Benedikt was missing hollandaise Sauce. Not a recommendation, but perhaps a one-off bad day.

Generally, yes, but the restrooms were a disaster. No soap, no towels for drying off, and the floor was covered in towels and other items. Despite addressing the service staff, nothing changed over the course of the evening.

We ate at Wilma Wunder in the late afternoon. The terrace was somewhat busy, but the interior was quite empty. The enthusiasm for the food was limited. The cocktail tomato in my salad was certainly much better 2-3 days earlier, and at home, I probably would have discarded such a tomato in advance. Similar comments were made at the table, and the side dish was left behind. My schnitzel itself was okay, so nothing particularly special, but also nothing to complain about. At our table, however, the salmon was left behind with the comment that it tasted like it had been stolen. It's also worth noting that although the mice here aren't dancing on the table, at least one mouse seemed to feel quite comfortable in the restaurant and seemed to have found a home there. Since all the guests around us noticed it, I assume this issue isn't new to the staff either.

The location and ambiance are top-notch. Service, whenever we called, was always friendly and competent. Overall, the concept is rather fancy, with less-than-high-quality food and drinks. Only the prices are high 😀 "Homemade" lemonades are simply mixed with cheap syrup. Everything is just plain sweet. The cinnamon roll is probably frozen, which is fine. But it tasted absolutely nothing of cinnamon. My Summer Meadow salad had hardly any sweet potatoes.

The ambiance at Wima's Wunder is so beautiful that the four of us girls not only toasted my birthday with a cocktail, but also stayed for dinner. The food was fancy but unfortunately not as delicious as we expected. However, the cocktails were truly top-notch. And now the really bad news: It was my birthday, and a friend brought me a paper bag containing a birthday card, a Thalia voucher, panda cookies, and a beauty mask. I left it behind on my way out. I noticed it, and 5-10 minutes later, we went back to ask for the bag. They couldn't find it, and they said it had apparently ended up in the "trash compactor." However, the panda cookie box was in the paper waste at the counter. It was more than obvious that the staff had helped themselves to my birthday bag in just 10 minutes. Confronted with the contents of their own paper waste, we were handed 10 euros (the value of the Thalia voucher). The staff there are obviously unaware of the theft or the suppression of lost property. I'm extremely disappointed and have no intention of going there again.

The peach iced tea, made with syrup, tasted mostly like water and not peach. Three people ordered the ham spaetzle, and everyone found it very bland, and you had to hunt for the cheese. The best thing about the evening was the ambiance 👍

Good food, great atmosphere, and friendly service. I found the homemade lemonade a bit sweet, but other than that, it's a nice place to eat, especially if you're a vegetarian.

I ordered eggs Benedict and have to say it was the best breakfast I've had in a long time! The ambiance was a bit "disturbed" due to the construction site (but that's not the restaurant's fault) - so 5/5 stars in all areas! I'd be happy to go back :)!

Absolutely delicious brunch buffet with a huge selection! The atmosphere is cozy and chic!

A generally great atmosphere. But: The mocktail was way overpriced at €9.50. Almost all ice, few real drinks. Service could be improved. I felt really sorry for the waiter, who has to satisfy the upper floor, given the long walks. The food was delicious. However, if I'd seen the condition of the restrooms BEFORE eating, I probably wouldn't have ordered anything. There was a layer of dust on the soap dispensers, and the sinks were full of water splashes, neither of which had been used for a day or two. Furthermore, a faucet and a toilet didn't work. A shame considering the nicely furnished restaurant!

A wonderful ambiance on a warm summer evening; perfect for gathering with friends. However, the menu selection is relatively small. The cappuccino is quite decent. The location is definitely worth coming for.

Tried 2 times and it’s the same trap: Tasteless food and tasteless desert. Service super slow (they even asked us to pay before they brought us the food!?). The deco is alright, the menu sounds good in theory but very overrated and overpriced for the poor quality.

Surprised by the unfriendly notice that they would open on time, I had to wait outside on a cold morning. Then no one greeted me in a friendly manner, and I was simply told to choose a table. At the table, there was no "good morning" either, just "would you like a drink?" The atmosphere is good, the breakfast was good, but the service and friendliness were absolutely not up to scratch. Therefore, not recommended, which is a shame.

Secondly, we sat down on the terrace. The waiter went to 3 tables and deliberately ignored us because we kept eye contact and we were sitting right next to the other 3 tables. He couldn't miss us! Until after 20 minutes we asked a nice lady if we could get something to drink. She kindly told us that we had to sit down if we wanted something to drink. We went anyway because we were thirsty thanks to the bald waiter

Price-performance ratio underground. We were there with a small group and ordered different “breakfast miracles”. We didn't experience miracles, but rather disillusions: - 1 1/2 small, dry slices of bread from “Salmon and Delicious” - measly portions - “Matcha magic” was a complete disaster, it tasted like sweetened almond milk, but not at all like matcha. Very thin! - We were charged 8 euros for a carafe of Cologne crane water. - Sparkling wine is served in white wine glasses In terms of price, you want to be a restaurant, but the quality is more reminiscent of the extra sheet. No recommendation!

Very small portion for a schnitzel which costs €25

Located right at the intersection of Hohenzollernring/Magnusstraße and so there is a lot to see 😉. The service is attentive, friendly and not intrusive. The Aperol Spritz arrived promptly and was well mixed. The truffle fries turned out to be a really big portion and the sauce in particular was really delicious.

Actually a good restaurant, I've been there several times. But there is a new, very unfriendly cellar, which unfortunately has already been "served" by him on two visits. He is very unfriendly, can't smile and only brings half the order or gets it wrong. He reacts unfriendly to questions. During one visit we had to ask several times about the missing mayo on the fries. Took about 40 minutes to get the mayo. By then the fries were cold. In the meantime, the waiter was able to have a good, friendly chat with another local waitress. She seems to get more attention and a smile from him than the customers. Very unprofessional!

Unfortunately I can't recommend the brunch. The hot food was cold. Very little choice, hardly any appealing selection available. The plates were not cleared from the tables even after 30 minutes. It's a shame, my conclusion is that the quality is simply too poor for the price.
