We were at WW yesterday - first of all: the atmosphere is super chic and the store is super inviting. The service is also good - but it could have been seen a bit more often on the second floor. But actually super nice & very friendly! :) Now the BUT: We ordered 4x tea (ginger and ginger + mint) and paid around €21 for FOUR CUPS OF TEA. Admittedly we didn't look at the menu, but just under €5 for some hot water with a few pieces of ginger/mint is really outrageous. I know, inflation & stuff. - but then at least do it like other shops and serve it in a very large tea glass. Yours are really tiny. Regardless, a very nice shop & highly recommended.

Nice location, nice service. The food (pasta and tarte flambée) was very tasty, but could have been a little hotter.

I was here twice during my visit to Cologne. Once for breakfast and once in the evening. The breakfast (salmon and delicious) was just as impressive as the service and the ambience. A generous amount, tasty and fresh. That's how you wish it would be :). Then in the evening a premiere. Often sneaked around and struck here. My first time "Heaven and Ääd". It was a completely different taste than I was used to but it was incredibly tasty 😋. You just have to trust yourself, especially when the restaurant already has you on its side. Overall, I highly recommend this place and I would be at least as happy to come back :) Thank you for the culinary delights and the excellent service!

Great location. The atmosphere is inviting and very friendly. The menu is very varied so that everyone can find something to suit their taste. The staff is always friendly and helpful. All in all, highly recommended.

We were very satisfied with the food (holiday buffet). Service, yeah. Very inattentive and we ended up having to pay the waitress for an incorrect order just because we felt compelled to keep it (“it will otherwise be thrown away”). It doesn't work at all! Be sure to send back anything that comes wrong, otherwise you will end up paying for the service's mistakes!

The cappucino was not good and consisted almost entirely of foam. The cookie dessert was also slightly burnt and nothing special. I wouldn't go there again for a spontaneous coffee date.

The food is just bad. I've been there three times now (within three years) and each time it was incredibly bad. The food tastes like nothing and is nothing special. The service is okay.

We were here for brunch on Boxing Day, in a restaurant that was clearly too cramped for seating. Neither the - at best described as average - selection of dishes served nor their temperature were sufficient, a clear lack of quality and a reason not to come here again.

Looks nice place but even though that we visit it on Sunday and was not crowded inside,we were standing at the entrance 5mins till the waitress come and tell us with rude way that we need to wait more 15mins(there were so many empty tables). Never give a chance again, total zero hospitality.

Beautiful restaurant with good and refined cuisine. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly service, which maintains control in the always full store with a smile on their faces! Wilma Wunder - we'll be back 🥂♥️

A glass of tap water €3.50, worst eggs bededict ever, chai oatmeal with cow's milk - long live the allergy. Price-performance poor. The waitress was very nice and tried hard, but unfortunately couldn't save the overall experience.

Restaurant close to the center. Delicious food, we didn't make a reservation, but I recommend doing so. Very big environment. We ordered a Schnitzel with potatoes and another Schnitzel with potatoes and truffle. Both were delicious.

Nice shop, but I think the food is overpriced.

On Christmas Day we were looking forward to a festive à la carte lunch. Unfortunately there was only a brunch buffet and that for a whopping €28.50 per person (regardless of whether it was an adult or a child). The quality of the food was not worthy of such a price and some of it was even cold, even though it should have been hot. In addition, the empty containers were only refilled after repeated requests, and sometimes not at all. And this despite the fact that the restaurant was supposed to be open until 3 p.m. When we complained, we were met with the fact that all our drinks were “on the house”, but this was only a small consolation and could not make up for our overall bad impression. The atmosphere and the location itself are quite nice. Therefore kindly meant 2 stars.

Liked the food, but the stuff and service is very questionable. I‘d say the woman who extremely unwilling to do her job. Instead of checking on customers and asking if they need smth, take the dishes away etc, she was chitchatting with someone next to the coffee machine. Do NOT recommend.

Solid food and drinks. However, especially when it comes to drinks, the prices are not justified if they only consist of crushed ICE. Small portions big prices.

Unfortunately I have to change my good rating: Viennese veal schnitzel is super small and, in my opinion, from the deep fryer. Far too expensive for that. Ketchup mayo 1.50 and 1.20 each as far as I remember. If you light the floor, I also recommend cleaning there every now and then. Our service was very nice.

Yesterday I went to Wilma Wunder with my companion and the ambience is just WOW. Unfortunately, the mulled wine was just poorly bought, more of a discounter quality. The desserts there are convenience products, so nothing that spoiled my taste buds. The service was okay and nice. Unfortunately we discovered that there is a problem with mice in the premises. During our visit we saw mice moving freely around the store several times. That was very unpleasant and had a big impact on our impression. We hope that the problem is resolved quickly, otherwise the store has potential. So visually at least TOP.

Just not really nice, service was not really friendly and the food was really not very special (a bit boring, tasteless), nice interior, but we sat at a table for two and the table next to us was so close that it seemed as if we were together. There were four of us, we skipped dessert because it really wasn't fun.

Great location great service…nice and warm. Oh and beer is excellent.

We were there for the first time. And we actually felt comfortable until the shock hit us. There were several mice running through the location between the tables and the customers. After we let the waiter know, he didn't even address it or comment on it. The waiter turned away and left. In all, it gets one star because something like this has never happened to me in Germany and I would have expected that they would apologize or at least show understanding. And you could no longer think about eating and drinking quietly, let alone enjoy it.

Visited for breakfast and dinner. Dinner was great - good size portions and good atmosphere. Recommend booking at peak times…

Great ambience Friendly and prompt service But the food was just above average We had Big & Hearty and Eggs "Benedict & Wilma" for brunch. The crust of the bread was pretty hard and the inside was a bit dry. The hollandaise sauce was quite mild and mediocre so I was disappointed.

I had breakfast there and the food was good and the staff was very friendly. The pancakes were very tasty and the breakfast menu with croissants and salad was also pretty good. Cafe was good and you got the food and drinks after about 15 minutes. Beautifully decorated and overall inviting, definitely worth a visit 😉👍🏼

The atmosphere is quite nice. We were there to have a few more drinks. But the cocktails weren't great, far too much crushed ice, not enough alcohol. Staff is quite ok.

I had an appointment there in the early evening, whether with or without dinner after a drink. The usher was unrecognizable as such and was in stark contrast to the waiters, who looked tidy and were friendly. The shop was still quite empty, I wasn't even asked whether I was eating or having a drink and was given the worst table (wooden class with school class chair). The beautiful upholstered corners probably shouldn't be for us. We then went somewhere else to eat. The idea was to explore the location for a big celebration. He's off the shortlist.

Great ambience, super nice service and incredibly delicious breakfast! I'm thrilled and will definitely come back on my next trip to Cologne!

I have so little understanding for the good reviews. At Wilma Wunder, the marketing works brilliantly again and the unsuspecting people believe that it is a good store because of the beautiful decoration and great presentation. The “restaurant” is “run” 100% by untrained and inexperienced people, the service takes a long time, the kitchen is just weak. Forgotten components, very poorly poached egg. We told the service four times that our bread was missing for breakfast. “I’ll pass this on to my colleague”, “I’ll tell the kitchen”, “I’ll take a look straight away” - people! Go down and get those damn two slices of bread from the kitchen. And ultimately unreasonably expensive, especially given the poor competence.

It was our first time there, but definitely not the last time.

Very nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere and good food (Sunday brunch). Unfortunately, points were deducted because of dirty dishes at the buffet, no protective napkin on the fresh bread (every guest had to touch the bread directly when slicing it), a lack of labeling on the dishes (not helpful for vegans) and somewhat inattentive service staff. Therefore the price/performance ratio was unfortunately not right.

Nice location, nice service, but we weren't that impressed with the food. There's a bit of attention to detail & depth of flavor missing. Salt & pepper from a paper bag isn't worth it at that price.

Impressions of Wilma Wunder in Cologne I spent a really relaxing evening at Wilma Wunder in Cologne and was pleasantly surprised! After two schnapps and a long drink, I not only had the perfect basis for creative work, but also a really calm atmosphere to be productive. The waitress was a real highlight – super attentive, friendly, and simply “really great,” as the saying goes. It felt like being with good friends, just like Wilma's philosophy promises. The combination of warm service, creative food with a regional touch and an ambience that invites peace and enjoyment made my stay special. For anyone who is looking for a place that offers more than just good food - namely real feel-good moments - I can absolutely recommend Wilma Wunder!

We were there for brunch today, the food was good. BUT the toilets were really bad, they could have been cleaned every now and then with so many people. AND the waiters were really friendly, but the service staff, who were wearing a sweater and were apparently a bit “higher up”, had some problems and were annoyed and also let us know as guests, which I don't think is right at all. Brunch will no longer see us. Too bad...

Alles sehr eng. Für große Menschen hängt die Dekoration viel zu tief. Sehr schlechtes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Es fehlt die Aufmerksamkeit der Servicekräfte, um Getränke stressfrei nachzubestellen.

Nice but cool place. Service was good and friendly at first glance. The first order and dinner were fixed, but we weren't asked for a second drink. The noodles were cold. The Wiener Schnitzel was too thick, dripping with fat and wasn't really crispy. Price performance is therefore rather mediocre.

Fun place for a large group. It was just the two of us, the food was decent, our server was fantastic, but I wish I’d come with enough people to order the cocktail tower!

The two of us went there on Tuesday, November 19, 24, around 1 p.m. We wanted to have lunch and drink together. The drinks were great, we ordered a homemade lemon iced tea, cappuccino, cola and a hot chocolate. The food, on the other hand, was unfortunately not that special. For us we had the soup of the day, in this case pumpkin soup. This one wasn't a hit. A simple pumpkin soup without any major taste sensations. The main course was the Käsespätzle and a tarte flambée with goat cheese, fig jam, rocket, walnuts and sour cream. Unfortunately there was a long black hair in the cheese spaetzle. Also, this dish was very tasteless. This surprised us a lot; when it comes to cheese spaetzle, you normally expect strong-tasting cheese and well-seasoned spaetzle. Leoder not recommended. The tarte flambée was cold and the ingredients were unevenly distributed in a very careless manner. There was no sour cream on large areas, so I had dry tarte flambée dough. We are actually very disappointed with this visit. Expected more based on recommendations...

We were thrilled. Great location, beautifully designed and the drinks tower was awesome. Unfortunately, the tarte flambée was far too dry, but we found an open ear for our complaint, which is why we give it the full 5 stars

Alles in allem ein guter Restaurant Besuch. Service sehr aufmerksam und schnell Immer auf den Punkt anwesend, um Teller etc abzuräumen. Negativ war ein ziemliches Gedränge am Tresen- schlechte „Wege“… Preis eher zu hoch- incl. 2 extra Getränke pro Person treiben den Preis auf weit über 30.-€ pro Person. Für Brunch Auswahl reichlich- Qualität eher durchschnittlich.

Very good food, nice staff and nice shop. Was there for a trade fair (digitalX). It was very busy there, but the employees tried very hard to ensure that everyone was served quickly.

The unfriendly, most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered. And I wouldn't recommend this to anyone in the center of Cologne.

4 of us were there for Sunday brunch. Choice of food was ok, Unfortunately we had a table near the bread rolls which was a bit uncomfortable. I also find the tables a bit small for sitting together comfortably! Everything is a bit cramped, which is why it's not that comfortable. In addition, to get 2 Kölsch we had to ask for it 5 times!! So the service wasn't that great... Nevertheless, we will come again!

I didn't like it. 25 euros for an average brunch. The tables are too small. And it was very crowded. We still had lipstick on one glass from previous use. Unfortunately there was no excuse for this. And the berries on several small desserts were poorly used. You could have smelled it. After two hours you have to vacate your seat. This makes it quite uncomfortable. Soap in the toilets was also missing.

I understand that given the size of a venue and its location, there are a lot of costs to cover, but at some point you can get so caught up in the savings that the customer feels ripped off. Had cocktails yesterday that averaged between €8 and €14. I can understand that ice is part of a drink, but I don't like paying around €12 for a shot with a bit of syrup on ice (see photo). By the way, it was a blueberry drink without actual blueberries. Second round was the "Glitter Spritz", which arrived without glitter and without any other decorations. With a serving time of less than 1 minute, that's more like clearance. When the waiter said that many people complain about it and the instructions come from above, it's more like it Stitch than customer satisfaction. Equipment is very nice, but if it's more like wow on the outside and shit on the inside, you have to rethink it.

Solid and tasty German home cooking, but nothing particularly special...

I celebrated my birthday at Wilma Wunder on a Monday evening and originally reserved a table for fewer people. In the short term, however, more guests came than expected. The staff was super friendly and understanding and allowed us to accommodate almost 20 people (even though the restaurant was busy that evening). We had a wonderful evening - the service was attentive and the food was excellent as always. The great brunch offer on the weekend is also particularly worth mentioning. I visit Wilma Wunder regularly and look forward to many more visits! ☺️

Schönes Ambiente, sehr netter Service.

The shop is very modern and looks elegant. It's all ok. Four of us met up for breakfast on a Saturday. There are only preconfigured menus. There are just no rolls. There was only bread on the plates. Fried egg was cold. A breakfast quickly costs €16 without drinks. Coffee also costs extra. With four people we paid €100. But it wasn't worth it to us and we would soon go to another breakfast restaurant. Despite our impression, the store was packed. So you should make a reservation on a weekend.

Was there for brunch, which met all my needs, although you can only book a two hour window. The (vegetarian) spreads, the variety of rolls and bread, the mason jar desserts are very good. Much else was unspectacular but solid, such as the scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. It's nice that you can warm up the pancakes, they taste so much better. What I found weak, however, were the unimaginative honeys - "from EU and non-EU sources" already describes the low standard, German beekeepers' honey would be more in line with their own standards.

A real gem, great variety on the menu. Service was good, and the beer cold. The food was very tasty, and of the best quality. The Parmesan Truffle fries is the best!!! Highly recommended for good reason.

Nicely decorated, nice service and absolutely delicious food. On the one hand, a small menu, but very different dishes, some vegan or vegetarian - so everyone can find what they're looking for here.

Einfach toll! Vor allem die ruhige Atmosphäre gepaart mit dem zuvorkommenden und freundlichen Service hat mich sehr begeistert. Das Sonntagsbrunch war so überwältigend, dass ich nur Häppchenweise vorankam und doch viele Leckereien gar nicht mehr schaffte, da mein Bauch schon voll war. Ein Erlebnis und eine Wohltat in einem! Mein Glitzer Spritz hat nicht geglitzert. 😅 Ansonsten eine sehr nette Brunch-Location. Voll, aber nicht überlaufen. Essen war dem Preis angemessen und für alle Anforderungen geeignet.

During our stay in Cologne we made reservations at the Wilma Wunder several times. We had a great experience every time we visited. The atmosphere on site is simply great. The staff always friendly and accommodating. There is a large selection of breakfast and lunch options. The food never disappointed us. Clear recommendation!

We went there for the first time and were very happy with the food. The service was excellent and we felt very comfortable. Even though the restaurant is very large, we felt like we were in good hands. Even the basement was comfortably furnished.

Very nice location and friendly service staff. Unfortunately it doesn't help if I wait 20 minutes for the order and then finally place my order myself at the counter. The cappuccino tasted good, the Schlupfnudeln was a disgrace: unseasoned, lukewarm and in a starter bowl, the meatballs had more mince, the tarte flambée was dry and hardly seasoned. Finished products from a cheap discount store taste better than what I received. The staff's reaction to my comment about the extremely poor quality of the food was also very disappointing.

A very nice place for brunch / brunch

We ordered drinks and a skillet cookie. The drinks (2x Kölsch, a cocktail and a cola) arrived quite quickly and so did the biscuit. After that, we weren't served by our waiter for about 40 minutes (after our two Kölsch had been cleared away). We then called a waitress who ran past to see if we could order something else, she had to pass it on to her colleague. Another 10 minutes later we called another waitress because nothing was happening. She also said she has to pass it on, but she has already asked what we want. A few minutes later she came and said there were currently “technical problems” and it was taking a while. When we waited another 10 minutes we called them again and said we would like to pay. Suddenly the lost waiter who initially served us came with the bill. Of course there was no tip at €29.10 for this “service”. The super “friendly” waiter was visibly annoyed by this and neither wished us a nice evening (two other waiters on the way out, the criticism really only applies to this one employee) nor did he give us a receipt. Can you recommend this restaurant? Sure, it's nicely decorated and the other employees were really friendly, but this one waiter was an absolute disaster.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The German cuisine was delicious and well-prepared, with authentic flavors in every dish. While the portions were a bit small, the quality of the food made up for it. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. Overall, a lovely spot for tasty German food.

Were there for the first time. Four of us. A little loud, but you can still understand each other. The waitresses were very friendly, the service was very quick, this applies to food and drinks! The prices are not unreasonable, rather expensive. But to be fair, you have to say that the food you get is super tasty and good value! We had 3 different dishes and they were all great! I can't describe the cocktails afterwards as top tasting. Price performance didn't suit us either. Together we paid €230 for 4 people. (main course, drinks, cocktails)

Great place with a nice extensive menu. Wilma’s Fitness Noodles are gluten free and fabulous! We had great service from Alfred who explained everything to us in English. Loved our dinner and German beers.

We were with you at the weekend! We enjoyed and enjoyed the pleasant service and delicious lunchtime food! The breakfast buffet also looked very appealing! Only recommended!

The atmosphere is very cozy, even though it is huge. Thanks to the seating concept, there are always little “nooks” where it is quiet and comfortable. Really very tastefully and comfortably furnished. The brunch buffet is mega! A great selection where everyone should find something. From classic breakfasts to warm dishes such as potato gratin or various salads. The service is very friendly and quick. I would love to come back.

Wir waren zum brunchen vor Ort und hatten wohl falsche Vorstellungen. Jedoch kann man für € 25,- sicher nicht mehr erwarten. Nette, professionelle Bedienungen Guter Kaffee, nettes Ambiente Kalte Speisen OK Warme Speisen empfanden wir von der Optik als nicht zu toll und haben diese auch komplett ausgelassen. Es wurde immer schnell nachgelegt, wenn sich Speisen zum Ende neigten.

We ate here with a large group of 25 people, the service person Alfred served us very well and we got our drinks and food quickly. Reordering was super quick and we were often asked whether we were satisfied or would like something else. The food was very tasty! Some found the portions a bit small, but most were very satisfied. The manager seemed a bit annoyed by us as a large group, that was the only negative thing we noticed. Unfortunately it seemed a bit unprofessional. He rolled his eyes when we tried to pay separately, even though Alfred had everything under control and collected quickly! The restaurant is definitely recommended! Beautiful location with a great selection of vegetarian and vegan alternatives. Everyone will definitely find what they are looking for here.
