We had veal and pork schnitzel. These tasted very good. A few mushrooms in the cream sauce and the lemon was missing. But these are only “small” requests for improvement.

Normal food, neither delicious nor bad. The waitress who served us, Iza, was very friendly and spoke to us in Spanish. Fast service, nice place. The problem comes from the Revolutionary Tax for being a Tourist. The Illegal Service Rate they charged us. €12 they scammed us. On top of that we are stupid and leave tips. Great location, nice service, nice brewery atmosphere. Prices a bit high for a brewery. However, this is also due to the good location on Heumarkt. We were in the restaurant with four people. The restaurant was 80% full. None of the four of us were impressed by the food. I had ¼ crispy fried goose, with dumplings, apple red cabbage, goose juis, apple compote. The roasted goose tasted good. Crispy yet soft and juicy. Unfortunately, I think it came out of the fryer. The dumplings weren't warm from you yet, they were lukewarm on the outside. The apple red cabbage tasted very good, but was only lukewarm. (I bit on half a bay leaf). The Gänsejuis was less than lukewarm. Very unpleasant, but the great hunger drove it in. Unlike our fellow guest. He had duck with a cold, dry dumpling, cold sauce and lukewarm apple red cabbage. ¾ of the food remained. Two of the fellow guests had schnitzel with fries. The fries were ordinary, the schnitzel from the deep fryer was plain but okay. Overall, you have to say that everything was a little too soberly seasoned. Especially the sauces. I would have given a straight 4 in school grades. Considering that the goose/duck cost over €32. The Cola is not Coca-Cola, but some kind of Cola-like crap. No! That was the worst meal I've had in a long time.

As it was my first time in Germany, I wanted to go to an authentic, traditional German restaurant to try German food. I chose this one and was glad to see that I chose correctly. The food was delicious, the prices weren't too bad either, plus the service was very friendly and fast. The atmosphere inside was very laid back and relaxed. I also loved the hazelnut shot that I was given at the end for free. Highly recommend coming here.

This place is fantastic. We ordered the Braused Ix cheeks and the Boiled filet. The dishes were incredibly delicious. The conveyor of beer steins and alpine theme make for a great atmosphere. Leave room for dessert. I didn't think it could get any better but it did. Be aware they do not serve any kolsch (adds to the experience). There is plenty of delicious spaten bier and other spirits available. Highly recommend and Iza our server was fantastic!

Yesterday was the first and unfortunately the last time. Full of expectations for a great Wiener Schnitzel, unfortunately very disappointed. I thought 28€ was just ok for veal but then it has to be awesome. Unfortunately not. It wasn't really warm. The breading wasn't hung really high, overall it tasted like it had been prepared and kept warm, which was a shame. The other dishes didn't go beyond OK either. Unfortunately, from my side, it's not worth going, it's too expensive for what you get. Visually the store was nice. We didn't even eat.

Unfortunately the kitchen has slacked off a lot, it's a shame about the venison goulash and the few pieces that were in it; the rest was filled with pearl onions. The only bread dumpling was not cooked through, dry and cold. The sirloin steaks (supposedly 300 g 🤣) were more like a child's portion. The portion of cheese spaetzle was dry. The fact that you were sent outside when you showed up early to pass the time in -1 degree weather is very unfortunate and annoying for a catering business!

Price and performance are absolutely appropriate and very good. The dishes are delicious. Of course, here and there there is definitely a crispier roast or different ribs, but they are still very solid and tasty. The veal schnitzel is highly recommended. There is hardly any brunch with table service, but Servus does. And all without haste and stress. You can set the speed yourself and everything is fresh and hot. X times better than a ransacked and soggy buffet. Delicious teas and filter coffee are included. Always my pleasure.

A very nice restaurant which - as the name suggests - has a certain alpine atmosphere. Good location, clean toilets and pleasant interiors. The beer is tasty, cold and very drinkable. When it comes to the food and service on offer, abysses open up. Small portions of questionable quality. The meat (Jägerschnitzel) was stringy. Ordered add ons such as mayonnaise are not served at all. The price quoted does not match. Complaints will not be taken into account and no goodwill will be given. Rather, you are portrayed as an escalating customer. NO recommendation. Unprofessional staff. It's a shame about the generally good location. There are many other alternatives in Cologne.

Great restaurant with authentic flair and nice service! We ordered spare ribs once and schnitzel twice - everything was excellently prepared and tasted delicious. The restaurant also impresses with its rustic style, which gives the feeling of sitting in a cozy ski hut on a mountain. A real highlight was the Kaiserschmarrn at the end, which also tasted wonderful. The service was friendly and attentive, which further enriched the experience. A small downer, however, is the rather high prices, which you should keep in mind. Nevertheless, the experience is worth the visit!

I was there with my wife and friends. Ambience and service were very good. The main course is different for everyone but very tasty, the portions are enough for two people depending on your hunger - very generous. Unfortunately, the dessert wasn't that good, but the service team reacted really well and offered us a replacement and then, when we didn't want any more, removed the desserts from the bill. We will definitely come back again

After 12/26 there is only one Christmas market as such, the dwarf market, so we took the foodie trip... damn the time... Beautiful two-story restaurant where you have to reserve, very attentive staff but unfortunately The food leaves a lot to be desired. Crispy pork that was cooked or reheated and soft... thawed and reheated cheek, rubbery and hard potatoes and a side of red cabbage that left me in the bathroom all day. We paid almost €80 for 4 drinks, two main dishes and a basket of bread. Oh, since they don't ask for a tip before you swipe the card... this was the first time they asked us for it and we've been in Cologne for 2 days, we won't be back.

The drinks are OK. However, the food is really just mediocre. I would definitely avoid the Kaiserschmarren. The ambience, however, is really nice.
