Servus Colonia Alpina in Köln

A nice Austrian restaurant in the middle of Colonia. It tastes good, especially the boiled beef was excellent. Unfortunately, the 250 gram steak, which cost over 30 euros, was less good, i.e. well-done instead of medium, as ordered, and a bit tough. It's a shame... it can, but shouldn't happen...

I celebrated my birthday on New Year's Eve. It was just great. Great ambience, great food and a really great team. Thank you dear Hello team for an unforgettable evening.

The food is average, not the best, the restaurant is cool inside. The staff is normal, they do their job. They charge you for water because it is from the tap… everything you see in the photo for €35

This place is fantastic. We ordered the Braused Ix cheeks and the Boiled filet. The dishes were incredibly delicious. The conveyor of beer steins and alpine theme make for a great atmosphere. Leave room for dessert. I didn't think it could get any better but it did. Be aware they do not serve any kolsch (adds to the experience). There is plenty of delicious spaten bier and other spirits available. Highly recommend and Iza our server was fantastic!

I ended up here spontaneously and had a really, really good meal. The Wiener Schnitzel was very well fried, and all the side dishes, as well as the soup, were freshly prepared and served hot. The ambience has a Bavarian touch and a jug lift runs along the ceiling, really original. The employees were all very friendly. Oh yeah, delicious 🍺 was there too.

Yesterday was the first and unfortunately the last time. Full of expectations for a great Wiener Schnitzel, unfortunately very disappointed. I thought 28€ was just ok for veal but then it has to be awesome. Unfortunately not. It wasn't really warm. The breading wasn't hung really high, overall it tasted like it had been prepared and kept warm, which was a shame. The other dishes didn't go beyond OK either. Unfortunately, from my side, it's not worth going, it's too expensive for what you get. Visually the store was nice. We didn't even eat.

Unfortunately the kitchen has slacked off a lot, it's a shame about the venison goulash and the few pieces that were in it; the rest was filled with pearl onions. The only bread dumpling was not cooked through, dry and cold. The sirloin steaks (supposedly 300 g 🤣) were more like a child's portion. The portion of cheese spaetzle was dry. The fact that you were sent outside when you showed up early to pass the time in -1 degree weather is very unfortunate and annoying for a catering business!

We can't judge the food because we only drank. Friendly service and a great atmosphere :)

Price and performance are absolutely appropriate and very good. The dishes are delicious. Of course, here and there there is definitely a crispier roast or different ribs, but they are still very solid and tasty. The veal schnitzel is highly recommended. There is hardly any brunch with table service, but Servus does. And all without haste and stress. You can set the speed yourself and everything is fresh and hot. X times better than a ransacked and soggy buffet. Delicious teas and filter coffee are included. Always my pleasure.

A very nice restaurant which - as the name suggests - has a certain alpine atmosphere. Good location, clean toilets and pleasant interiors. The beer is tasty, cold and very drinkable. When it comes to the food and service on offer, abysses open up. Small portions of questionable quality. The meat (Jägerschnitzel) was stringy. Ordered add ons such as mayonnaise are not served at all. The price quoted does not match. Complaints will not be taken into account and no goodwill will be given. Rather, you are portrayed as an escalating customer. NO recommendation. Unprofessional staff. It's a shame about the generally good location. There are many other alternatives in Cologne.

We were a larger group and we all had a delicious meal and drank a few beers. The prices are reasonable and you don't have to wait too long for drinks or food.

We were there for brunch. In short, mega. The quality is great, the staff is friendly and always on point, you can reorder the food several times if something is missing. And the presentation is also great, a piece of holiday, real Alpine house feeling.

Great restaurant with authentic flair and nice service! We ordered spare ribs once and schnitzel twice - everything was excellently prepared and tasted delicious. The restaurant also impresses with its rustic style, which gives the feeling of sitting in a cozy ski hut on a mountain. A real highlight was the Kaiserschmarrn at the end, which also tasted wonderful. The service was friendly and attentive, which further enriched the experience. A small downer, however, is the rather high prices, which you should keep in mind. Nevertheless, the experience is worth the visit!

As always, great food and great, attentive service. Unfortunately we sat a little apart at 3 entrance doors, which wasn't that nice and didn't have much of an atmosphere.

I was there with my wife and friends. Ambience and service were very good. The main course is different for everyone but very tasty, the portions are enough for two people depending on your hunger - very generous. Unfortunately, the dessert wasn't that good, but the service team reacted really well and offered us a replacement and then, when we didn't want any more, removed the desserts from the bill. We will definitely come back again

After 12/26 there is only one Christmas market as such, the dwarf market, so we took the foodie trip... damn the time... Beautiful two-story restaurant where you have to reserve, very attentive staff but unfortunately The food leaves a lot to be desired. Crispy pork that was cooked or reheated and soft... thawed and reheated cheek, rubbery and hard potatoes and a side of red cabbage that left me in the bathroom all day. We paid almost €80 for 4 drinks, two main dishes and a basket of bread. Oh, since they don't ask for a tip before you swipe the card... this was the first time they asked us for it and we've been in Cologne for 2 days, we won't be back.

Were there for the Christmas party. Had made a special reservation in March. Wanted to eat and drink something good. The table was limited in time and we weren't told when we reserved it. Food was only partially good, steak was a complete disaster, tough as a shoe sole. Sausage platter for 2, more for one. Goose was ok, schnitzel very good, boiled beef too. Cheese fondue was totally muddy and lumpy. Ham sliced ​​too thickly. Drink was good, but the service couldn't keep up. The toilet was then 2 floors below us. Tables very narrow and rather uncomfortable. We had imagined something different.

We had made reservations for 4 people for the Cologne Christmas market. The online reservation is very well structured and you will be reminded by email before the appointment. The reception was very friendly and we were shown to the table. The ambience is that of an Alpine restaurant, very tastefully decorated and you immediately feel at home. I would like to highlight the very friendly and courteous service staff. The selection of food and drinks is extensive and leaves nothing to be desired. All starters and main courses were very tasty and were served to everyone at the same time. The prices are not overpriced and are acceptable for Cologne standards. The toilets are bright, attractively equipped and very clean. Hello is recommended and we have therefore sent you a larger gift voucher, which can be easily done online.

Ambience great, but food a flop. We sat well with 11 people and the beer was delicious and served in a stein. The food came surprisingly quickly, but gave the impression of cafeteria food. Portion sizes very clear.

We had our department Christmas dinner there. Everything was very tasty. Whether it's a ham platter, veal wiener, spare ribs, venison goulash or, to finish off the Kaiserschmarrn with vanilla ice cream. The service was very friendly and quick with the drinks. The atmosphere there is also very pleasant. In contrast to a brewery, you could still talk to each other very well. The jugs running through the ceiling throughout the restaurant were also an eye-catcher.

Servus has such a cosy and jolly atmosphere. We went a couple of times during our trip, once for drinks and another time for dinner. They have seating surrounding a small fire, which is great for drinks and bar snacks. It's a great way to get in from the cold and warm up. Dinner was amazing, they had various options, mostly what you'd expect from an Alpine lodge. We had cheese fondue, house salad and braised ox cheeks The portions were very large and we left very satisfied. The restaurant can get very busy around dinner time, we only had to wait 10mins for a table as there were just two of us, but larger groups were waiting a long time.

The star of the menu is the magnificent Big sausage. The lively atmosphere encourages conversations, laughter, and clinking glasses. It has a cheerful service that charms.

Food is more like quick cuisine, lukewarm and completely overpriced for what you order on the table. Ambience is very nice.

A successful afternoon at Servus Colonia – despite minor hurdles! We were guests at Servus Colonia with a group of ten and can say: The atmosphere and service make this restaurant something special. The rustic ambience and warm hospitality make you feel welcome. Unfortunately there was a small discrepancy with the food, some of which was served too cold. But the team and management immediately tried to find a solution, were extremely accommodating and promptly fulfilled our wishes. Such commitment deserves praise! Despite this small drawback, we had a really successful afternoon. The quality of the food was convincing in terms of taste, and the selection of drinks also made everyone happy. A big thank you to the Servus Colonia team – we would love to come back!

Went to this restaurant yesterday. Wonderful atmosphere and entourage. There was unparalleled alpine music. The food was very good. Both goose and schnitzel were delicious. We were served by a very nice waitress Lilli, she clarified all our preferences and was unobtrusive. A very good restaurant in every respect!

The food wasn’t bad, the atmosphere was pretty warm however we unfortunately felt undesired in this restaurant. The waiter assigned to our table seemed to be grumpy and dodged our table on purpose. We waited for 20 mins after we finished our plates to finally interact with the waiter.

Unfortunately we didn't have time to eat anything. The service was really very quick and friendly. The ambience is also very nicely decorated in Bavarian style and I generally always like this 👍. Definitely worth a visit again

Bavarian ambience in Cologne. Lots of wood paneling. Top the beer mugs under the ceiling on the assembly line hook. Very nice staff who tried hard to find a place for the three of us even though we hadn't made a reservation. Everything went very quickly, without stress. Very pleasant. The crusty roast for under twenty euros was very tasty and the quantity was enough to fill you up. 😁 The prices were surprisingly cheap. It wasn't the last time we were there.

Nice place in the center of Cologne. The environment is a cross between an Alpine restaurant and a local brewery, perhaps a little fake but pleasant. The menu is more based on that of local breweries. The beer is excellent.

And the beers 👍 We had an awesome service staff called Dado who made our experience here great! Before we left, he gave us hazlenut shots and we ended up lugging 2 bottles back. Love Cologne.
