This restaurant is run by a very nice family. Everyone in service is very friendly. The food is still reasonably priced, but many dishes are only partially tasty - unfortunately!

As always, sooooo delicious. Max Stark is almost always packed, so it's worth making a reservation in advance. The service was quick and they were always on the go, but you didn't have to wait long. The food was excellent and the price was almost too cheap for the amount you get. It's always excellent and I'm a Max's guest every time I visit Cologne and I'll keep coming back!

We were here today by chance for the first time, definitely not the last time. The menu is Cologne and Mediterranean. Delicious amuse gueule, GREAT beer knuckle (crispy on the outside, tender and pink on the inside), everything else was also very tasty and fresh, attentive and friendly service. That was an upscale atmosphere in the brewery.

Actually a great Veedels inn. Unfortunately it smells very strongly of a deep fryer and after one visit my winter jacket still smells of grease a week later.

Very nice atmosphere and nice service. Unfortunately, price/performance didn't match up at all for me. It will be particularly disappointing for people who want to avoid meat. They should give the Richartz a wide berth.

We were there for Christmas. The price-performance ratio was not right. Some of the warm side dishes were cold and some of the meat was overcooked. The service was present. We won't come back.
