As foreigners, we were immediately introduced to the Kölsch customs and were able to spend a lovely evening here!

This is a bar like there are few left!!! Delicious Kölsch at an unbeatable price (1.60 euros!!!), small menu with delicious dishes and a nice host and cook who have the small, cozy shop under control. Very strong, I hope you stay with the Veedel for a long time!!!

I'm amazed... Simply speechless... A real, rustic Cologne pub!!!! You come in and immediately feel at home, transported back to the years when the world was still in order. Early Kölsch freshly tapped and cold, Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes just the way it should be, without frills and confetti, deliciously hearty like grandma's. Hats off to the fact that such economies still exist.

Very, very nice host. Friendly, always with a quick saying on his lips. Small, pleasant menu and also dishes that are not on the normal menu.

We were in Cologne for 4 days and we ate at Bruno's for 2 of those days. Simple home cooking, great quality and it tastes good! You are greeted very friendly and served and you feel welcome. Bruno and his wife are super nice. We'd love to come back

Super authentic 70s pub and atmosphere. The food was a 10/10 - I had the Cordon Bleu with fries and salad. Super tasty and the portion was well balanced. You didn't "overeat" afterwards. Service was A1. I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

THIS IS NOT A RESTAURANT, IT'S A PUB. We were guided to it by the reviews, which were most likely given by the friendliness of the service, which I do not dispute. I honestly can't understand how this pub gets that rating, it's been really disappointing. Please, if you think it is a good restaurant based on the reviews, think again. First we ordered drinks, a Coca Cola and two waters. They were served from a large bottle to small glasses. The Coca Cola was stale and without bubbles. The water we ordered was tap water, and even though they served us tap water, they charged us two euros per glass without prior notice. The menu has no variety and was very bland. We ordered fried eggs (which were identical to the ones I fry at home) and a fish (which turned out to be not fresh, but clearly thawed, like the potatoes). Also, the waiter cleaned the table when we finished with a used napkin of ours, attesting to the poor cleanliness of the tables and the pub in general. The worst thing of all is that the bill was given on a napkin, without any type of proof of what it had been spent on and, how could it be otherwise, they only accept cash.

"Greetings from Hamburg" - every now and then in Cologne - and then definitely again and again to Bruno!! Great host, delicious Kölsch and a fantastic cordon bleu - we look forward to seeing you again - thank you and see you soon...

"Bei Bruno" is a fairly simple pub, with the charm of the 70s/80s, but is greatly enhanced by the calm and friendly service from Bruno and his wife. He does the counter service (top) and she prepares things in the kitchen Simple but very tasty home cooking, you really shouldn't be fooled by the first impression - we'd love to come here again, it was a positive journey through time and cheap too 😋👍

It was my first time there and my brother had been there often before and was very happy with the restaurant and the kitchen. We want to eat there soon.

Kleine, gemütliche kölsche Kneipe, mit sehr freundlichen Wirten. Speisekarte auf wenige Speisen reduziert aber hausgemacht und lecker.

Einfache Pinte mit hervorragender Hausmannskost zu absolut fairen Preisen und einem sehr netten Wirt. Hier können sich viele andere Restaurants was abgucken! Was mich darüber hinaus begeistert hat: es gibt Kartoffeln und Gemüse! (Vielleicht kennt der eine oder andere das ja noch von früher! ;)

Ein wirklich tolles Restaurant, mit einem netten Gastwirt. Mein Cordon bleu mit Pommes war wirklich sehr lecker, alles wurde frisch zubereitet, wir haben zwar ein wenig gewartet, aber das warten lohnt sich!!! Je weniger Auswahl auf der Karte ist, um so besser schmeckt es am ende :) auf jedenfall weiter zu empfehlen

We were in Cologne for three days and living next door from Bei Bruno. Unfortunately we tried it only when we were leaving. We were so impressed by the simplicity, authenticity and the quality of the food. Really looking forward to going back there.

Wow, what an excellent place. While visiting Köln, we were looking for a decent local German restaurant in the Müllheim area. Luckily we stumbled upon this gem. The best food, service, and of course Kölsch. The owner told me he has been in business at this location for 27 years. If you are in the Müllheim area, stop by and eat or drink - you will not be disappointed!

Es war einfach wieder schön, wir sind schon als Kinder kurz vorm Karnevalszug hier gewesen. Und gefühlt hat es sich nicht verändert. Bruno wir kommen immer gerne zu dir.

Wenn man eine klassische Eckkneipe zum Bier, Dart oder so sucht, ist der Laden klasse. Das Essen ist sehr günstig, aber auch nicht so überzeugend. Also besser Bier trinken und spielen, als essen...

"Bei Bruno" ist eine urige, gemütliche Kölschkneipe. Frisches Frühkölsch vom Fass. Lecker gezapft. Bruno kocht selbst und hat immer leckere Tageskarte. Sehr preiswert und schmackhaft.

Es ist eine kleine nette Gaststätte. Leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber gemütlich. Der Wirt und die Wirtin sind sehr freundlich und versuchen auch bei der Auswahl des essen für jeden Geschmack etwas zu zaubern. Die Preise sind unschlagbar. Es liegt etwas versteckt in Köln Mülheim ist über die Deutz-Mülheimerstr auch per Auto gut zu ereichen.Über den Wienerplatz durch die U Bahn nebst Bezirksrathaus praktisch nur immer gerade aus 5 min über die Bachstr.

Urige Kneipe mit freundlichen Inhaber und leckerem Essen ☺️

Eine der letzten kleinen Kneipen. Leckeres Essen das von den Wirtsleuten selber zubereitet wird. Man wir auch am Tisch bedient und das sehr aufmerksam. Leider könnten die Toiletten etwas sauberer sein. Spinnenweben weg machen und vielleicht auch mal die Kabinen abwaschen.

Hier wird Kölsch getrunken und Kölsch gesprochen 🍻😋

HERRLICH!!!! Eine typische urige Kneipe mit Hausmannskost - einfach nur schön! Man setzt sich dazu, kommt ins Gespräch und hat einfach nur einen schönen Abend! Leckeres Kölsch vom Fass und noch leckereres Essen! Bratkartoffeln die sich auch wirklich als solche bezeichnen dürfen, richtig knusprig lecker. Ein sehr, sehr netter und aufmerksamer Wirt. Einfach Großartig!!!👍👍👍

Eine kleine urige Kneipe mit sehr netten Chef und das Essen ist voll gut.

Sehr kleines nettes Lokal. Köllsch und Hausmannskost zu sehr angenehmen Preisen. 10,50 € für ein Jägerschnitzel sind völlig ok. Frisch gekocht und schnell serviert. Wer möchte, probiert mal ein Madagaskar-Schnitzel; Schnitzel mit Pfeffersoße 10,50€, sehr lecker.

Die Gastfreundschaft und das Essen sind ganz große Klasse. Es ist nur weiter zu empfehlen.

Super netter Laden mit herzlichem Wirt. Köstlichen Früh vom Fass und dazu das richtige bürgerliche Gericht und man kann entspannen.

Waren spontan zum Schocken dort. Gutes Bier, fix geliefert. Essen war tiptop, preislich klasse. Und Bruno selbst ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber.
