Sehr freundliches Personal, Essen schon sehr gut und schön angerichtet und schönen Biergarten

Wir sind für ein Wochenendtrip in Köln gewesen und aufgrund der Bewertungen im Helenhof gelandet. Gaststätte ??!!! Wow. Für uns ein mega Restaurant! Das Personal sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend, für ein Gespräch zu haben, einfach toll. Man fühlte sich direkt sehr willkommen. Und nicht nur das Personal und der Service war top sondern auch das Essen einfach unsagbar lecker. Egal ob Pizza, pasta oder schnitzel es war alles sehr gut zubereitet und eine tolle Portion. Preis Leistung unschlagbar und dann noch eine Vorspeise von Haus. Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir tatsächlich alle 3 Tage da waren. Wer in köln ist, sollte unbedingt dort vorbei schauen. Wir kommen beim nächsten Mal auf jeden Fall wieder. LG ans Team aus den Norden

Ausgezeichneter, freundlicher Service. Aj spricht auch. Wahrscheinlich der Inhaber. Das Essen war sehr gut. Holzsteak, Salat, Ofenkartoffeln. Parken war gegenüber möglich. Der Garten ist wunderschön. Zusammenfassend kann ich einen Besuch nur empfehlen. Die Preise sind angemessen.

Fühlen uns hier sehr wohl. Sind fast jede Woche hier. Familiäre Atmosphäre. Sehr lecker alles. Familienbetrieb mit ♥️

Die Welt ist echt klein. Gestern sollte ich vom Koch/Besitzer noch abgeschleppt werden. Heute bei Ihm super lecker gegessen. Tolle Menschen und super Essen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Bombastisches Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Schnelle, sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung, große Portionen und vor allem sehr gut gekocht. Alles frisch, Salat mit eigenem Hausdressing. Und das zu extrem fairen Preisen. Immer wieder gerne.

Kann die Gaststätte nur empfehlen. Personal sehr nett und das essen war sehr lecker. Wenn ich nächstes mal dort bin, geh ich 100% wieder hin.

Ich war begeistert von diesem Restaurant. Es ist ein sehr einladender Ort und das Essen war köstlich – traditionelle Rezepte, frische Zutaten, frisches Brot… Die Angestellten sind eine sehr freundliche Familie, und die Kellnerin, die mich bedient hat, war eine ganz besondere Frau. Obwohl ich die Sprache nicht gut spreche, habe ich mich sehr willkommen gefühlt und einige nette Leute kennengelernt. Ich komme zum Karneval wieder. Liebe Grüße aus Spanien. Vielen Dank für alles.

Tolle Bedienung, man fühlt sich willkommen und wie bei Freunden. Sehr gute und leckere Schnitzel. Für Vegetarier perfekte Falafel und Ofenkartoffel. Sehr zu empfehlen!! Ein wenig angenehmeres, warmes, zB indirektes Licht würde den Gesamteindruck noch mehr verbessern ;)

Ein tolles Lokal und hervorragendes Essen. Kann es sehr empfehlen. Im Sommer ein klasse Biergarten. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne dort hin.

Ein authentisches und sehr einladendes Restaurant mit Bar in der Nachbarschaft. Wir waren nach unserer Ankunft am Flughafen Köln (nur 5 Autominuten entfernt) zum Abendessen dort. Das Essen war lecker, reichhaltig und preiswert. Brot und Salat wurden als Vorspeise bzw. Beilage serviert. Der Service war ausgezeichnet und freundlich. Genau das Richtige nach einer langen Reise. Vielen Dank!

Very nice hosts, very good food!

I can highly recommend the Helenhof and would love to go back. We were treated very well without a reservation and have never been looked after so attentively. The food is delicious and the service is simply top-notch. The prices are very reasonable. Thank you for your hospitality.

On my way home from Cologne Airport, I found this restaurant via Copilot. The kitchen was actually already closed, but we were still able to enjoy a delicious Viennese schnitzel! Excellent service, delicious food, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

The service was super friendly and prompt, the food was delicious, and we sat in the shady beer garden, which was very pleasant. It's a place where you'll want to stay a little longer.

You couldn't find a better place to sit in Wahn. A nice pub, a beautiful beer garden, super attentive staff, and a pleasant clientele. You immediately feel welcome and cared for. The food is top-notch, and Reissdorf Kölsch is on tap. What more could you want? :)

We were in Cologne for an exam and decided on the Helenenhof because of the good reviews. We made a reservation at very short notice and our dog was also very welcome. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. In the front area there is a small, cozy pub/bar and the room behind it is visually appealing and “cozy” furnished. We felt very comfortable. Normally I don't write reviews, but in addition to the top service and the feel-good factor, there's also the top food! The portions are decent and it was more than just delicious! The steak was on point (medium rare) and buttery soft. The beef strips were also cooked through as desired and still tender. There was also a salad with a delicious, homemade dressing! We also ordered pasta “to go” and this dish was also a delight! I would say that anyone who comes to Cologne should plan a visit to the Helenengarten! 5 stars from us ⭐️

Very cozy restaurant with loving furnishings and a pleasant atmosphere. The food was homemade, fresh and really tasty - the roast in particular was a poem! The service was warm, attentive and made our stay very pleasant. Absolutely fair value for money. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back!

Don't be fooled by the appearance. After the pub you come to a small dining area. It could be a little more comfortable, but you get excellent home-style food of very good quality. Seems to be a small family business. The service was very quick and extremely friendly. I'd love to come back!

We had reserved a table, but we came here with false expectations. The service was really nice, but it's more of a pub than a restaurant. There is actually a side room as a dining area, but it doesn't have a real restaurant feeling. Unfortunately the menu only had half to choose from. We were told that a chef is currently missing. Unfortunately we left again without eating or drinking anything.

This restaurant is run by a very nice family. Everyone in service is very friendly. The food is still reasonably priced, but many dishes are only partially tasty - unfortunately!

Typical case of a regular restaurant, once you go, you feel really good and can't help but come back. The food is top quality, quantity and price. Special requests are no problem. Nice staff. Everything seems very familiar. Hopefully you'll stay with us for a long time. We'd love to come back. It doesn't matter whether you just drink a beer or eat it too. Everyone is treated equally kindly. Great, you won't find anything like that otherwise.

On the surface it's a pub. In the back there is a small restaurant with down-to-earth, delicious dishes. Very nice service and great value for money. Classic insider tip.

Living room and dining room in one. Absolutely great pub, where you can either watch football with friends at the bar, or enjoy ultra-tasty schnitzels and the like in the “dining room” in peace. By the way, great meat quality!!!!! And the service: fantastic. Super nice and attentive people. There was even a small starter: home-made panini with olives. Simply recommended. We'll definitely be back!!!

Even though we didn't make a reservation, a table was prepared for us. It was OK that we had to wait a bit because it was very crowded. The spagetti carbonara tasted very good. It wasn't the last time we were here. See you soon.

Helenenhofschnitzel is highly recommended and something for the taste buds. Plus a delicious Hefeweizen from the barrel. Super friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere is a mix between a pub and a restaurant. Well made and cozy. 100% recommendation.

We had dinner here after the positive reviews on Google. On a Friday evening, didn't make a reservation but were seated straight away. Very nice and friendly reception. Very likeable young man. We ordered something to drink first. The price was really great! The rosé tasted really delicious. We got the salad and a sandwich with spread beforehand. We ordered a grill counter for 2 people with fries. When it arrived at the table I was shocked by the quantity. The fries were perfect, the meat was on top. There were also some grilled vegetables (eggplant, tomato and mushrooms) It was served with a sauce. You could still get mayonnaise and/or ketchup loose. The meat was really very generous. The portion really big. Even my friend (aka the wheelie bin) had more than enough use. Food was really tasty. Hot and freshly prepared. We really don't regret eating here. The service is more than good. The hospitality and friendliness were excellent. And you don't have to worry about the price at all. We had a delicious meal here! Definitely recommended. The restaurant itself may not be very inviting, but in terms of staff and food... Definitely worth it. Even the guests are friendly to each other. People were greeted or wished each other a nice evening... Convivial!!!!

We went there because of the Google rating of 4.6. And we weren't disappointed!!! Little insider tip!!! Great service and food too... Great value for money... You can eat in the beer garden... They even served an amuse gueule... And the three of us paid around €75... .. So highly recommended...

The restaurant has a small beer garden, but the surrounding area looks like a construction site. The food (spaghetti aglio e olio and lumberjack schnitzel) was soaked in oil. The prices were appropriately low for the quality. However, I won't eat there again.

Great food. Delicious and lot in amount comparing the bill. You won't disappointed if you are a meat lover. We orderd a taller for 2. We couldn't finish it at the end. The best part was fresh bread with some sides which was on the house. Great beer and right next to nature.I am cutting one star due to the friendliness/customer service which could be improve and CASH only. Apart from that, I strongly recommend this place. 👌 we will come back with some friends. Thank you 😊

Das war leider ein totales Disaster... Bedienung von Anfang an so genervt das es schon beleidigend ist! man fühlt sich nicht willkommen... es wird auch nicht aufgeräumt, man wird als Gast einfach sehr schlecht behandelt. Bei so vielen Tischen nur 3 Pärchen dabei ist wohl klar warum und es erklärt sich schon einiges - dieses Restaurant ist nicht gut. Wir haben gehofft, dass mindestens das Essen gut wird, weil im Google alles gut aussah aber auch hier war es eine starke Enttäuschung: Wein Schmeckte billig und das Essen.. Ich kommentiere es lieber nicht.. Ich würde gerne was positives sagen nicht aber es ist leider dieses Mal nicht der Fall... am besten wären wir hier gar nicht hingegangen nur Zeit und Nerven Verschwendung aber ist halt eine Erfahrung. Unser Rat am besten irgendwo anders hinzugehen. Hier kriegt man leider nichts Gutes.

Wer gerne Schnitzel ist, ist hier genau richtig. Vater und Mutter in der Küche und der Sohn im Service. Hier fühlt man sich wohl und wie bei Freunden. Ich esse hier mit meiner Freundin oder der Familie in der Regel immer das Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln, weil egal welches Schnitzel sie sind alle gut. Das Reissdorfer ist vom Fass, auch das Hefeweizen und die Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Schöne ist, das es vor dem Essen noch eine Vorspeise auf Kosten vom Haus gibt!!! Wo bitte ist das noch so? Sehr schade, dass hier zum Jahresende Schluss sein soll, einen solches Restaurant hat hier gefehlt.

Die Bewirtung einer großen Gruppe verlief schnell und problemlos. Und gut geschmeckt hat es auch!

Direkt am Tennisclub trifft man viele nette Leute und beim Essen findet jeder das Richtige und wird garantiert satt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Es ist wirklich ein sehr schönes Lokal. Super gelegen und lädt zum verweilen ein. Zu Beginn gab es einen kleinen "Gruß aus der Küche", wodurch das normale Essen aber gleich in ein zwei Gänge Menü verwandelte! Die Portionsgröße (Grillteller) waren sehr gut und auch die Qualität war super. Der Service ist super nett und sehr zuvorkommend! Wenn ich nochmal hier in der Gegend bin, komme ich gerne wieder vorbei. Definitiv weiterzuempfehlen!

Angefangen mit einem sehr freundlichem Empfang, super Service ging es weiter mit einer einfachen, aber abwechslungsreichen Speisekarte. Die Preise sind absolut günstig, für diese Spitzenqualität! Alles war perfekt 💯 Obendrein gab's noch eine Vorspeise, selbstgebackenes Brot und Antipasti aufs Haus. Auf Wünsche wird höflich, nett und direkt eingegangen. Selten so gut bedient worden und so lecker gegessen 👍🏻🤌🏻

Ein kleiner Familienbetrieb mit einem spitzen Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Der Helenenhof in seiner jetzigen Art ist das Lokal im Vereinsheim des Tennisclubs. Der Innenbereich ist sehr schön groß und hell und bietet auch Platz für Veranstaltungen. Im Sommer gibt's draußen zusätzlich die große Terrasse. Das Essen ist immer super und reichlich. Zu den Fleischgerichten gibt's einen guten Beilagensalat, dazu den Gruß aus der Küche. Wir kommen gerne hier her, bei Spiel- oder Trainingsbetrieb ist es natürlich etwas voll und der Platz begrenzt.
