A lovely restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Most of the tables are located in the large conservatory, and despite its size, the noise level wasn't too loud. The welcome was very friendly, and the staff remained attentive throughout the evening. All the dishes we ordered were absolutely delicious, and the portions were more than ample. All in all, a wonderful evening. I would definitely return.

A down-to-earth restaurant with attentive and prompt service. Steaks are cooked to perfection, as is fish. Antipasti are of very good quality. And everything is served in portions, so you'll be satisfied even if you're very hungry. I gave the ambiance three stars because the restaurant is located on a busy main road.

We stopped in spontaneously to pass the time. The people working here are very friendly! We were allowed in a few minutes before opening and were served quickly.

We were back here today after a long break. The prawns and carpaccio were really good. The steaks were superb, and the pepper sauce was divine. There are few that can do that. Keep it up, it was really delicious 😋

We spontaneously got a table for 7 people after calling on Saturday evening. The restaurant doesn't look that special from the outside, but it's really nice inside and it's especially great to sit in the winter garden. Overall, the service was very friendly and the food was a bit pricey, but of great quality.

We were there for Christmas. The price-performance ratio was not right. Some of the warm side dishes were cold and some of the meat was overcooked. The service was present. We won't come back.

She had veal liver which was very good, unfortunately too many onions for me and the puree wasn't really my thing either.

Ambience is completely fine. Were there for the Christmas party, 25 people, unfortunately we couldn't push the tables together, they were separated into 3 tables. There would have been room for a "U" or 2x II. Now to drink: Order: Guests are forgotten and no one checks whether everyone has something. Food: Bottomless! I ordered a schnitzel with hollondaise sauce and a salad. As a rule, a salad should be served before a meal to stimulate the appetite and for better digestion and not after the meal is on the table. Fries were cold, not seasoned and dried out and the color wasn't what it should be (see pictures), worse than at MC's. The schnitzel was also cold and dry and tasted like cardboard and was only slightly fried in color. It was like a ready-made schnitzel from the frozen food store. The cherry on the cake was the two spoonfuls of hollondaise sauce for an additional €4: lumps and lukewarm, and this also arrived 5 minutes after receiving the schnitzel (see pictures). I forced the schnitzel in due to hunger and left the rest... There is no relationship between price and performance! Very disappointed, definitely the last time! Personally not recommended. I guess quantity comes before quality here, or the chef is just bad. 16 years in the Bundeswehr, the food was at the same level as in a 0815 operation, hunger drove it in and quality management looked the other way. Bon appetite

Unfortunately very disappointed, a very overpriced (30€) small one Wiener Schnitzel with the cheapest frozen fries was delivered carelessly on a plate without comment by the service from a lady whose face no longer had a smile left, only a look of contempt. Drinks were asked once at the beginning and not again afterwards. Another waiter, a young man, was still trying hard and polite, but he couldn't save the bad mood in the evening. It was warmly recommended to me to come here a long time ago, and I certainly won't do it again! There are restaurants in the Cologne suburbs with a much better price-performance ratio.

I am super disappointed with the visit to the Jägerhof! We used to love coming here and after years we wanted to enjoy another nice evening with good food. However, the service was super incompetent and unfriendly from the start. The quality of the food has also deteriorated and at outrageous and utopian prices! The plates look absolutely loveless and were “filled” with frozen vegetables and fries. I would absolutely not come back under the circumstances and it is really a recommendation NOT to go here.

Gambas as a starter are simply heavenly. My saddle of lamb was on the grill a little too long. Otherwise really very very excellent! Great team! Would love to come back.

Balkan restaurant. Good food at “good” prices. The food itself is rather average. But the quality is clearly increased by the respective sauces. The service could be improved. A Balkan restaurant that values ​​tradition and at the same time is in this price segment should at least offer the guest a liqueur such as Julischka on the House at the end of the payment process, as is the case in most, usually much cheaper, restaurants with one Cuisine from this region is uso.

We ended up here, the restaurant at Clarenhof no longer accepts cash. All I can say is perfect. Because everything here was super tasty and we were allowed to pay in cash.

The food at the Jägerhof is of good quality. The meat dishes are usually particularly recommended. The service is friendly, attentive and usually quick. The atmosphere is bright and friendly - at least when you sit in the winter garden. Here, however, you have to accept the traffic noise from the military ring, which is only a few meters away, when the sliding doors are open. If you want to dine at the Jägerhof on weekend evenings, you should definitely make a reservation in good time.

Very comfortable, but a bit noisy. The employees are all very friendly. There are 3 vegetarian dishes, although my meal had parmesan on it (parmesan is not vegetarian!). Price-performance ratio is also okay. A second person could have eaten my noodles, the portion was really large and also very tasty. The side salad didn't convince me, but it was completely okay. We'll definitely remember the store.

Habe dort das Weihnachtsmenü gegessen. Das Gemüse war TK-Gemüse und noch hart, nicht gewürzt oder in Butter geschwenkt. Die Klöße waren auch Fertigprodukte. Das Schweinefilet war sehr trocken. Insgesamt war das essen zu kalt. Die Maronensuppe war sehr Sahnelastig, der vegetarische Teller war eigentlich ein Beilagenteller mit hartem TK-Gemüse, trockenen Reis, zwei Karottentallern und Rotkohl (alles ohne Sauce). Der angebotene Nachtisch war nicht mehr verfügbar und im Laufe des essens gab es zweierlei Sorten Wasser. Ich fand es für diese Qualität echt überteuert. 47,50€ für das schlechte Schweinefilet mit harten Gemüse, Gänsekeule mit Rotkohl und Klößen (Fertigprodukte) für 59,90€ war echt zu teuer ! Für uns war das heute leider dass erste und letzte Mal.

Ambiente ist sehr schön eingerichtet, Service ist sehr aufmerksam & zuvorkommend. Das Fleisch (Filetsteak) hatte an sich einen guten Geschmack, war jedoch für die Stufe Medium doch etwas zu blutig.

Das Essen war recht gut. Allerdings war mein Steak fast durch. Gefragt wie man es mag, wurde nicht. Bei den Preisen eigentlich ein muss... günstig ist der Jägerhof definitiv nicht. Bedingung an sich war sehr freundlich und war stets da wenn man was brauchte. Alles in allem ein netter und guter Besuch. Wenn Kleinigkeiten verbessert werden, wirklich zu empfehlen .

Sympathisches Personal und super empfehlenswerte Küche

Ich hatte mir ein Kalbschnitzel bestellt was auf der Speisekarte mit der Krone des Hauses beschrieben wurde und wurde für 21.50 leider sehr enttäuscht die panade war am abblättern und das Fleisch kam mir vor wie ein Minuten Steak was nochmal geklopft wurde um eine gewisse Fläche zu erreichen da habe ich in schon ranzigeren Schuppen viel bessere Qualitativere Schnitzel verzehrt für einen angemesseren Preis. Fand ich sehr schade, da ich nur positives über den Jägerhof gehört habe Die Spiesen der anderen Gäste wie zb Rinderfilet sahen sehr vielversprechend aus kann mir vorstellen das dieses bestimmt auch sehr schmeckt aber das kalbschnitzel war echt eine Zumutung den 2. Stern gibt es nur weil mir die Championrahmsauce wirklich sehr gut gefallen hat die Bratkartoffeln dazu waren auch sehr gut. Ich denke ich werde mir von einer anderen Speise nochmal ein Bild machen weil das Ambiente mir gut gefallen hat und das Personal freundlich war.
