Hopeless place, I don't recommend it

Four of us came without a reservation, but they tried very hard to give us a good table; although it was very crowded. Food was great and so was the service. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for renovations. But the viewing platform was magnificent.

We have eaten very well. There was an error in the request for a dish and the girl changed it for us without a problem. Very friendly staff, very good food, a good atmosphere, cozy place. Highly recommended.

Update: I've been coming here for almost a dozen years now. Now I'm always recognized, even if I haven't been here for a few months and the question is "the same as always" and it's almost always like that. The spaetzle is amazing and so is the Wiener Schnitzel (not Viennese style)! This restaurant is a must for me and also for my business partners. This restaurant in an old butcher shop is by far my favorite restaurant in Berlin, precisely because it is not overcrowded with tourists and always offers delicious food at a reasonable price. For many years I have always come here when, as a Rhinelander, I am in Berlin both personally and professionally.

We were impressed by both the service and the quality. Everything was really, really good, and we'll definitely be back.

The ambience was nice there, but the prices really skyrocketed and the one service person, a blonde lady, was really tiring because she always barged into conversations and didn't pay any attention, you just get in touch when you want something

If you want to briefly immerse yourself in the old days, then this is great. Unfortunately, we found the prices quite high, but with a Groupon voucher, it's doable.

It was a family celebration, over 20 people. It was very good, very eager staff and a tasty buffet. Since I was a guest, I cannot provide any further information.

Although we live in the area, this was our first time at this restaurant, tempted by the fact that it's always crowded. Now we at least know why—we ordered black pudding and goulash with Thuringian dumplings, and they were truly delicious dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients. The service was also very friendly and treated our children wonderfully—lollipops, drinks, and other cutlery were included! The atmosphere was lovely. We'll gladly return!
