A very cozy restaurant with charm. The service is always friendly despite being busy! The Berlin-style food... very good with decent portions... It wasn't my first visit and won't be my last!!!

Good German cuisine, friendly service. We would be happy to come back next time we visit Berlin.

Classic Berlin venue visited on a cold mid-week evening in February. Only Berliners at dinner, I was the only foreigner despite it not being far from Alexanderplatz and opposite Museum Island. Simple but tasty dishes. Those who like excellent kalbleber (liver) and rinderoulade (a large roll)

A very atmospheric place. The bar is located near the river and next to the monument. The bar has several rooms, one as if on an indoor track and the second completely in the German style. Delicious draft beer.

Even on the second visit, it was still a very special "pub" in the old style, with very friendly, attentive and quick staff and down-to-earth, very tasty dishes and drinks.

Traditional German food in a beautiful place with a very elaborate decoration. If the weather is nice, the terrace overlooking the river makes it even better. Good value for money, highly recommended. Without a doubt, one of the best I have tried in Berlin.

Me and my table mates all had schnitzel. It was perfectly fine but as usual with pork schnitzel served in Berlin restaurants the meat was not prepared probably and was tough. The standout here is the wonderful terrace directly on the Spree.

Rude welcome from the waitress. Empty restaurant yet we got placed right next to the unbearably hot radiators. Got my beer order wrong. When I told the waitress, got chased away and told that the kitchen “ran out of gas” so they can’t cook for us.

Mi hermano gemelo y yo estábamos pub y bar dando vueltas por el maravilloso Nikolaiviertal (Barrio Nicholas ) de Berlín cuando decidimos pasar por Zille Stube , hemos estado aquí antes en vacaciones anteriores a esta fascinante ciudad, siempre lo pasamos bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita. Un pub de gran aspecto, el interior es magnífico, de estilo berlinés muy tradicional, las características de madera de pino abundan en todo este pub, un bar de servicio de aspecto fresco domina la sala principal, una decoración y mobiliario maravillosos y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este pub tanto dentro como fuera cuando hace buen tiempo. Pedimos cervezas a Berliner Kindl Schultheiss Brauerei ( Berliner Kindl ) y estas cervezas se servían en excelentes condiciones siendo heladas frías y espumosas, nos relajamos y planeamos el día anterior mientras bebíamos nuestras cervezas. Esta es la cerveza de Berlín, una cerveza estilo lager dorada, ligera y con lúpulo llena de sabor y muy fácil de beber sobre todo cuando se sirve helada fría como en este pub, fue tan bueno estar en un pub tan encantador disfrutando de una cerveza de calidad y se sentó con mi hermano gemelo, mejor compañero de cerveza del mundo. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestras cervezas aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cualquier otra visita a aquí nos lo pasamos muy bien. Zille Stube es fácil de localizar Spreeufer. El horario de apertura es; Lunes y martes, mediodía hasta medianoche. Miércoles, cerrado. De jueves a domingo, de mediodía a medianoche. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en la zona.

The food tasted good. BUT: the beef roulades were as tough as shoe soles and the red cabbage was lukewarm. That was a real shame.

The treatment of people for our taste leaves a lot to be desired, we would like to be treated with much more kindness

After the Christmas market we visited the Neptune fountain in the Zillestube Reserved a table. The restaurant is really worth seeing. The atmosphere takes you back to old Berlin. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable and the service staff was very attentive and friendly. Therefore 5 points for the restaurant.

You wait a long time for food. It is appropriate for the price.

Place and staff were very nice. The chicken schnitzel was definitely frozen at some point before being prepared. The chicken was chewy and had a fishy aftertaste.

I think we came in through the wrong entrance because the waitress seemed a bit surprised when she saw us. But you actually hardly noticed it. Had Königsberger meatballs and stuffed cabbage for dinner. We really enjoyed it. The ski water was just very tasteless. The service was friendly and the orders came to the table fairly quickly. I found the ambience to be very bright and simply furnished 👍👍.

Nice scene by the river. Staff are helpful but unfortunately the worst food I've had after two weeks in Germany. Schnitzel was small and had a rubber texture was hard to finish. The goulash soup was terrible, watery and overly sweet. Really terrible. The beer was also warm. They need to get a professional chef

Goulash soup was very sweet and had lots of tasteless strips of what probably was cheap sausage. Salad dressing was sweet and the beer was not chilled Definitely worst meal I’ve had in my 10 days in Germany

A very good restaurant with delicious Berlin-style food, a great ambience inside and out right on the banks of the Spree in the Nikolai Quarter. I would particularly like to emphasize the attentive and friendly service, which is not a given in such touristy places.

Food is extremely simple, vegetables and fries are frozen from supermarket and not elaborated. Could be a pass but they should raise a bit their standards. Service was ok and the atmosphere/confort is nice.

Después de un largo día caluroso, aterrizamos aquí junto al río. Es un lugar tradicional alemán, buena cerveza, menú carnoso con una ensalada o dos para los más conscientes de la salud, y un gran servicio. Nos quedamos un buen par de horas viendo barcos arriba y abajo de la juerga, comiendo comida decente y bebiendo una gran cerveza. ¿Qué no te gusta?

Old Berlin tourist shop. The service was friendly and quick. The food was lukewarm and rather average. Cappuccino was thin. The view of the Spree is quite nice, overall not a highlight.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE‼️ DON’T GO, IT’S A SCAM. Blonde mid-age waitress didn’t want to show the ticket when asked for it after paying, she added “you know there’s a service fee right?” but kept refusing showing the receipt. After insisting, we found out she automatically added as her tip 4€ and also charged 7€ for a 0.75 cL water bottle (we didn’t ask for the price when it was offered and understood it could be a little overpriced, but this was next level scam). Crazy experience because the service till then was good and food not bad (but kinda overpriced for the quality). We ate inside, so no “special views” that could justify this. If you’re a tourist, be aware of this, we’ve aten in other places in Berlin and none of them had this “automatic invisible service fee” and “liquid gold water”, don’t support this kind of scam businesses. We trust reviews and would love to have been informed of this.

Excellent spot to sit by the River Spree, have a few drinks and order some pretty good food, service was excellent, food was great, and the views amazing. A little pricey but you are paying for the location.

Il locale è molto tipico e accogliente. Il servizio molto cordiale e disponibile anche con turisti come noi che non parlano troppo la lingua. Abbiamo mangiato una buona cotoletta con patate fritte e funghi , uno dei loro piatti tipici, con birra scura molto buona. Per finire uno strudel con panna e pallina di vaniglia. Torta al cioccolato con pallina di gelato. Acqua . Prezzo nella media.

We sat down here as we passed by and drank our farewell beer because we were heading home the next day. We sat right on the Spree and there was a lot to see. Since this is a popular place when the weather is nice, you have to be a little lucky to get a seat like this. It was a nice end to our holiday for us.

May 2024 update. Fantastic spot directly at the water. Personnel was very friendly and food was great. Berliner dishes looking great and tasting even better. Highly reccomended. Large and clean toilets are a plus.

The Berlin Meatball was amazing!

Very good food, whether spicy meat baked with cheese as a starter or meatballs with braised onions or Königsberger meatballs. The only criticism: little sauce and a bit thin. Service was friendly, waiting time for the main course was a bit long. It's very comfortable to sit outside with a view of the Spree. Prices are okay. Recommended for typical Berlin cuisine.

Juste à côté d'une brasserie (Georges) qui brasse beaucoup de monde nous avons été à zille stube bien plus calme avec un service au petit oignons Au bord de la spree quand la météo s'y prête ou dans les 2 salles du restaurant... on y mange berlinois à prix doux pour l'endroit qui est très prisé par les touristes Il y a de tout du classique jarret au galette végétarienne C'est bon rien a dire... le sourire et la gentillesse des serveurs et agréable et efficace

Durch Zufall sind wir hier in dieses Lokal gekommen. Zuerst fanden wir uns nicht zurecht, dass hier eine kleine Kneipe gibt, einen urigen Bereich und ein etwas spießigen. Wir saßen, Gott sei Dank in dem urigen Bereich mit einem super Kellner. Das Essen war ordentlich der Service war hervorragendnur bei den Toiletten hat man leider sehen können, dass es schon ein etwas älteres Lokal ist. Wir würden hier sofort wieder hinkommen schon alleine weil wir einen super Tisch hatten mit einem super Kellner und es uns einfach gut geschmeckt hat. Nettes Lokal. Vielen Dank

I would prefer not to give a star, but unfortunately the function is not available here. I came to this restaurant to eat a nice schnitzel with asparagus, we all know this menu is not cheap. Ordered and after 5 minutes the cold dish was served to me, just sad. I wouldn't recommend anyone to order a dish here because someone else's food came after a few minutes and didn't look any better. I definitely won't be coming back here, it's a shame! The best came last - I had to pay for the hollandaise sauce, just ridiculous.

We come to Berlin every Easter and the Zille-Stube is an absolute must for us! The staff relaxed, funny, friendly; Service very good. The food was sufficient and very tasty.

Wij hadden het geluk hier langs te komen bij een stralend zonnetje. Zokonden wij genieten van een lekker diner aan de oevers van de Spree. De menukaart is vrij uitgebreid en zowel de kwaliteit als de bediening zijn top.

The waiter today is certainly doing his best...but he makes me wait and when I put down the cutlery, etc., which was put down as if I was walking past, he looks around. Actually, every time he brought me something. I ordered extra feta with the salad, but unfortunately it wasn't available either... But it's not the restaurant's fault, it's my waiter's fault. It is located directly on the Spree and has a lot of potential.

What kind of speedster did you change your menu? If you want to tell me nothing, you shouldn't see that in Berlin?! It sounds like someone from Baden-Württemberg is trying to find the strength to put his Köllsch knowledge into Berlin, even though he still thinks you're a pancake! In High Berler, a "g" is still spoken as "je" and "dit", not "dat" as it is, so it is "dit Hip Jold" and not "dat Hip Gold"! My dear, if the whole Zille were deserted, it would be rotating in the wind, you could connect a generator and climate change would be pussekuch'n, basically snow from morjen, club! (pun intended) This means that if you're going to do it in Berlinerisch, then do it correctly. ;) Food was good, huge pork knuckles flew past us and the staff (in that peculiar Berlin way) were very nice and helpful, no irony. Addendum: Nothing 5 years. I was born in the OZK in East Berlin in 1979, went to daycare in F'hain and went to school in Friedrichsfelde, and I also lived in X'berg, P'berg, Neukölln, Alt Mariendorf. Also in other cities but I have been in Spree Athens for over 35 years. Shit, I have to get out of here!
