We went for breakfast. The food was okay-good. We did not really go there for the food itself, it was more for the view and experience of eating in a rotating restaurant. It was an overall good experience!

This was a great experience, highlight of the short trip we had. I recommend this and a bike tour as soon as you arrive to orient yourselves!

Eating breakfast, a meal, or even just a dessert and a coffee or tea with a 360° view of Berlin is a wonderful experience. I resisted going up for more than twenty years, because it seemed like a good attraction for mass tourism, but then, once up (368 meters high), Berlin seen from above, among other things in a sunny and clear day, it was simply spectacular! Apart from famous places, monuments, parks etc. (and the related search/find), I was struck by the clean and well-kept roofs, without the tangle of antennas and other things that you see in many cities. "Sustainable" lawn and moss roofing is increasingly widespread to encourage energy saving. Regarding the restaurant, everything was impeccable (quality and presentation of the food, clean and well-kept environment, shame, at least in my case (20 August, table 40), the service was really poor. For example, I had to ask in vain several times for the jug of milk, arrived when the coffee was already cold; similarly for half a glass of water; my nephew's breakfast was totally forgotten and served, after several reminders, when we had to leave a fantastic morning indeed!

Fantastic experience but the food in the restaurant is absolutely not worth the money. Barely €10 for a bottle of water even if you order wine. It is absolutely not ok. €4.5 for an extra dry bun for tapas! But vantage points absolutely do not fail!

Excellent experience for a dessert with coffee or tea

I can't rate the food because I didn't have any. It's just nice to sit in the revolving restaurant, drink coffee, and watch. 🤗

Overall, the experience was great but unfortunately the food was disappointing. Don't go there expecting fine-dining quality food. We booked the full 3-course meal package with drinks and VR. I think the price was very inflated for the quality of the food and the options are minimal. Especially for vegetarians! The staff were friendly but the service was slow and disorganized.

Let me start by saying that the price is what ruins the whole experience here. That's why I'm starting with a small breakdown of the costs, before I start the review; - Entrance fee: €26-28 p.p. (depending on sales or not) - Food: +/- €35 (main course + 1 drink) Sphere restaurant: The waiters are dressed nicely and they are polite, the menu looks good, and the meals sound very appetizing. But the prices are quite on the high side. This slightly creates an atmosphere, which slowly could make you believe, that you're in a high-class restaurant which is aiming for a Michelin Star. Then you get the food.... I ordered something that eventually came down to 4 tiny balls (of which 2 were meat, 1 was mashed potato and 1 chopped red beet) swimming in a sauce. All of it, except the red beet, lacked flavour. This was not something that was even close to costing €25 in terms of quality and quantity. (I'll refrain from talking about ball sizes) My girlfriend took the only vegetarian (main) option on the menu, which came down to potatoes and cauliflower with a (supposedly) cheesy sauce. The cauliflower was not cooked through enough and also this dish could use some salt and/or seasoning. (same price btw). And she could have done without the hair in her food! So we of course grabbed the saltshaker, which not only was empty, parts of it also broke off (with normal use) into our food. Quickly you start feeling like you made a big mistake coming to this restaurant. The quality is lacking, and on a closer look, the restaurant is showing it's age. Yes, the restaurant spins, which is cool. But seeing as you already paid +/- 28 euro to get up there, and can have a normal viewing after dinner, this should not influence the price or opinion. Also, tables directly at the window are not guaranteed! Even if the restaurant is only filled for 25% during your timeslot, you might not be placed directly at the window. The restaurant is not worth the money! The observatory deck. Not much to complain there. I'll leave it up to you if you think that it's worth the money or not. Just a small comparison: - Berlin Fersehturm (205m height)- €28 - Tokyo Sky tree (450m height) - €19 - One World Observatory New York (381m height) - €40

The view at Sphere Restaurant is truly breathtaking and definitely the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, the food can't quite keep up. I had the Königsberger Klopse, which was okay, while my wife tried the broiler, which she didn't like. The service was friendly, but unfortunately also very slow. Our plates from the main course and dessert remained empty for a long time without anyone around. The apple tart and cheesecake also tasted like they came from a package. Considering the reservation fee, it was quite an expensive experience.

The whole thing is already getting old. View really cool. I find the price of 27.50 to go up a little excessive.

The most spectacular location. I've never experienced anything like it. A revolving restaurant with panoramic views like nothing else. You're just so far above any other building in the city. The views are endless. We were sat next to the window. There is a small German menu and the food is very good.

Good service, with a great view!

So first of all we arrived and the dishes were dirty. The vegan breakfast was really disappointing. The pickled stuff wasn't edible, and the avocado sandwich looked nice but didn't taste like avocado at all. The yogurt was the only good thing about the meal. We had to specifically ask for the drinks so that they were even served, and then only after the meal, which was quite annoying. The service was okay overall, but unfortunately the rest wasn't convincing. I definitely won't go here again.

Unfortunately the food wasn't as good as hoped. It was too little, not seasoned well and overpriced. Generally disappointing... The service was good, the employees were nice. The view was very nice. Therefore, it is definitely recommended to visit the television tower. But not for dinner in the restaurant.

We were there for the 3 course menu in the evening. We were able to choose one of two films on the ground floor (it lasted about 15 minutes). Was very interesting. Then we went up to the platform and later into the restaurant. Great view, great delicious food and very nice service. It was a really great experience that I can only recommend to everyone.😇

Unfortunately our visit to the restaurant was disappointing. The food was okay, but the unfriendly waitress had a negative impact on the entire afternoon. There were very few tables occupied. She seemed annoyed, barely attentive and seemed to have no interest in making our stay pleasant. The lady should take an example from her male colleagues or reconsider her career choice. It's a shame, because the ambience of the restaurant would actually have been promising. Due to the poor service, we won't be coming back again. The view, however, was breathtaking!

We booked the complete package with driveway and breakfast. It was great and good value for money. Individually it would have cost us a lot more. There was also a window seat. I can highly recommend it, as there wasn't much going on in the morning.

Unusual place. Pretty good food. 1 hour 45 minutes maximum, but we were able to stay a little longer because we were the last service. You pay the price of entry for the experience. However, I find the ratio (quality + quantity) / price rather bad. Of course we pay for the setting, but let's say that by paying the entrance ticket I expected less impact on the quantities of the dishes. The staff was very friendly and quick. Basically I recommend it if your criterion of choice is the unusual experience.

Extraordinary ambience with a starry sky and a great view of the whole city and beyond. Very good cuisine and particularly friendly and courteous staff.

The view is overwhelming! Because the tower rotates (approx. 30 million for one revolution) you can see all of Berlin from above. The food is simple, only the piece of meat is left out for vegetarians.

Food was terrible and little. The price range (29 euros) for a minihaxen and 6 euros for a small beer is not justified. Unfortunately it wasn't a direct hit (at this point you'll notice that you've already paid €28 per person for the ride).

Let's start with the positive. The view is really beautiful. The service is nice and courteous. I haven't had a worse meal yet. The meat was simply unseasoned, the sauerkraut was incredibly sweet and the portions were gourmet sized. All of this at an exorbitant price. By the way, you can hardly afford the drinks as a mere mortal.

You buy tickets to reserve the table. It's an option. Then you order à la carte. You are allowed to stay for an hour and a half. The dishes are very small. Chicken is not recommended. It's less than a pigeon's foot. It is suggested to order Kids dishes. They are cheaper and more abundant. Desserts: order the cakes, they are delicious. The rest of the desserts are a very small piece to savor. We liked the dinner better in daylight, you can better appreciate the view of the city above.

What can I say… We first paid €25 per person to reserve a table for 2 on a Saturday evening. This price therefore includes: table reservation, the right to go through security and take the elevator to the sphere. Then arriving at the restaurant reception we were received and informed that we could stay at our table for 1h30. Our table number is given and we go up and get seated. Almost instantly a waiter brought us the menu and asked us if we wanted to drink water. Thirsty we order a bottle of water (without looking at the price... what a mistake). Very quickly the waiter comes back and asks what we want to eat, I start with a starter, my guest doesn't order anything. We ask to order the main course later because we haven't chosen yet. A few minutes later the waiter returns, we choose our dish. Very quickly, this one arrives…. And my starter? Disappeared. What a pleasure to receive the main course a few minutes after ordering it while I'm waiting for my starter... Anyway, let's move on. We eat. Then we waited for several minutes for someone to come and clear us out. I manage to intercept a waiter and remind him of my starter… which I always want to taste. We are still waiting and are cleared. I recommend my starter who seems afraid of ending up on my table. We eat and enjoy the view a little more before leaving. Total price: €67.1 for 2 to be added to the €50 reservation. If the prices may seem “right”. I would like to point out that water was €8.6 and that main courses were €25 and €29. However, they disappointed us enormously. For this price we expected a certain quality (and quantity). In addition, my starter was none other than bread and accompaniments for €8. So after paying 16€ for bread and water, what do you want me to tell you? If you really want the experience and have enough money to spend it in a restaurant that certainly has rotating tables but has poor service and disappointing food, go there. Otherwise just go up to the observatory for less and enjoy the unique view of Berlin (Small clarification: by reserving the restaurant we do not obtain the right to go to the observatory).

It's not cheap to dine at this restaurant (especially considering the portion size and the quality of the food). However, this was expected. If you actually get to sit next to the window, it might be worth the price. Nonetheless, if your seat is at one of the inner tables, you don't get to see much of the view (which is definitely not worth the price). The chance is 50/50. The restaurant refused to rearrange our table to those next to the window (despite many tables being empty until the restaurant closed). If your purpose is to see the view from the tower, I would suggest just going to the observation floor. Save the money and find a nice restaurant somewhere else.

Typical German fare beautifully cooked. There was something on every dish (quite a limited menu) that I didn't like. However the rest of the dish was beautifully cooked and presented. Entry to the tower is additional to the price if the meal.

Our story began in March. We visited the observation deck and had an amazing time. We’ve decided to come back and visit Sphere Restaurant if we are in Berlin. We booked our table in June in advance to have a really nice romantic dinner in August. I couldn’t wait for it, was so excited to be back. The excitement faded and turned into one of our worst experiences quickly. When we arrived, we got a ticket for table number 9. We were thrilled to have a wonderful 2 hours there. The waiter came and changed our seats from the window next to the isle. You can imagine: it feels like it’s your first time flying on a plane, and instead of sitting next to a window, they force you to change to the worst seat. The restaurant was around 60% occupied, there were PLENTY of seats available next to the window. I went down and explained to the lady who arranged the seats, that please be kind and change our seats to a window seat. There was no possibility of change without a proper explanation: it depends on YOUR LUCK (the system gives you randomized tables), that time we weren’t lucky. Sorry, but WHAT? I repeat it, it was an almost half empty restaurant. We booked in advance, and there is no possibility of changing our seats?! I tried again to ask if the other guests were finishing their stay (it seemed to be) so we could sit there. The answer was again no, the next guest who would get it. That means that if we just randomly visit the tower and decide to eat, we would have a BETTER PLACE than our prior reservation. Ridiculous! The waiter was also unfriendly—we decided to leave this place without leaving 200 euros for nothing. In summary: - It doesn’t matter if you book in advance, you may have a worse seat than just a random guest. - No empathy, no flexibility, unfriendliness. We could say rude staff. - One of the worst customer experiences ever. It would be better to charge for the window seats which could be booked in advance. It's still better than having this shameful approach to your guests. Thanks for destroying our well-awaited romantic dinner (one of our highlights of visiting Berlin again). Because of your “kindness”, we were lucky to find a great restaurant with amazing service and food. :)

Everything worked really well - reservations, elevator ride, etc., but with a cheese platter for two people for €33, it would be nice if a leaf of basil and some tomato were “served” with the mozzarella. Surely Mr. Raue has a gourmet-technically perfect reason why this doesn't happen, but I wanted to point it out.

The price is worth it, good food and breathtaking views, go at sunset and you won't regret it.

We went to the restaurant for lunch. The food, Königsberger dumplings, was a total ripoff and cost 25.00 euros. Even if everything is becoming more expensive and no service staff is working for the minimum wage anymore, the price was disproportionate. In the provinces no guest would come to eat a second time. The service was good. The view over Berlin was perfect.

It's really worth visiting the restaurant and booking a seat, especially if the weather is good. You get a great view of the entire city several times and you can enjoy delicious food at the same time. The service is definitely very good, although it becomes a little more modest later in the day. The prices could be a little better as the ticket is already relatively expensive.

Upon ascending the elevator, the hostess will seat you at a table. It is crucial to be specific when making a reservation, as choosing a window table ensures a full view of the city, whereas an inside table may not. When we requested a window table, the hostess did not make an effort to accommodate us, stating that all window tables were reserved, despite us noticing four unoccupied tables. However, our waiter took the initiative to clean a table adjacent to us once other patrons departed, allowing us to enjoy the view. The food was absolutely delightful, and we savored every bite

For being inside one of the most popular attractions in Berlin, the restaurant has pretty fair prices. You should book it with advance and enjoy. The food is not the most impressive, but it is very enjoyable. The view is breathtaking and for sure it’s an amazing place for special dates.

Stunning views and fantastic food. We had a table reserved by the window which was great to see the city’s views with the revolving floor. The only problem was other diners that were not placed at a table by the window were coming and leaving over you to take photos.

I ate well but it doesn't leave an impression. The evening remains unforgettable for the spectacular panorama it offers. A tasty dish, accompanied by a good wine surrounds Ada with a breathtaking view! The service is inadequate starting from the reception services.

To be honest it is not a good use of money, I have been going around Germany eating lots of delicious food, but if you want the views just go to the viewing station, as the food is not special, it is not bad, it is good, but it's pretty expensive. I've eaten many pork knuckles around Germany but this pork knuckles is especially small. It's 30 euros and I've got 3 people size pork knuckles for the same price. Amazing service but ripoff. Just for the views.

If you are in Berlin, you should go up to the TV tower. When the weather is nice, you can see a lot of Berlin's sights on the observation deck. Since it is explained very well in pictures and text, you know exactly what can be seen in which direction and can therefore recognize it.

The appeal of the restaurant is that you get a great panoramic view of Berlin. Without this special feature it is just mediocre. It's okay that the prices are higher than elsewhere, but I think charging 14.5 for a 0.2 liter cocktail is a bit excessive.

Unique experience at the top of Berlin with a delicious breakfast

The Sphere Restaurant at the top of the Berlin TV Tower offers an incredible view, especially if you are fortunate enough to get a window table. However, the food is overpriced, served in small portions, and lacks in taste. I paid almost 25 euros for potatoes and some greens, which was quite disappointing. The service is almost non-existent, which detracts from the overall experience. While the location is fantastic, the restaurant needs to improve its service, enhance the flavor of its dishes, and offer a more diverse menu to live up to its potential.

Dinner in this location was a highlight, which I would happily recommend. Although it was very busy, the service was good and the staff friendly. The food was also good. I give it a negative point because of the very high reservation fee. I can understand charging such a fee as demand is certainly very high and it would be annoying if reservations were not honored. However, with such a high fee, I would like to receive a drink voucher or something similar on site.

The Sphere has an Eastern charm in terms of staff and facilities. The food is high quality and you can take your time. The best thing is that you can circle around Berlin in about 30 minutes. The view is phenomenal.

The best thing first, the view is fantastic and because the platform rotates you get a great all-round view of Berlin. But €24.50 per person for the elevator ride alone is really steep. Why are there no discounts for restaurant guests?! When we arrived at the restaurant at lunchtime, it had more of a canteen feel. The food was tasty but really overpriced for the small portions. At least the service was courteous despite the Chinese tour groups. But honestly, dear Berliners, evil tongues would speak of this location as a “tourist trap”.

We arrived late for our set menu slot because we struggled to find the entrance. Very quickly went through the security and up the tower and seated immediately. Staff were not overly friendly entering the building but the elevator staff and all the restaurant staff were lovely. The food was lovely and staff were very attentive. Bad food and very expensive. We ordered knuckle and chicken. The knuckle was very hard and overheated. The size of the chicken was so small that it looked like a partridge. They also gave us a table away from the windows and as we saw that there were many free tables we asked the waitress if she could change tables for us to better admire the views. The waitress then told us that everything was reserved but when we finished eating there were still many free tables next to the windows. In short, a very bad experience and not recommended.

Of course- fantastic view. Food was also good but unfortunately service was appalling. The waiters had too much to do and missed us constantly. Finally we got to order main meal but after that no attention at all. So no dessert or coffee. We asked for a table next to window (as everybody does) and were given the answer that that would try when available. Being at a late seating - there was eventually seating available but since no waiter around we moved ourselves. Shouldn’t have done that … could be good but lack of attention gives low rating.
