We celebrated our Christmas party in the Ratskeller in Ludwigsburg and unfortunately I didn't get the expectations I had hoped for. When we asked over the phone, we were assured that there would be chicken schnitzel instead of pork schnitzel. This was initially denied on site, but after asking again it was said that there would be a chicken version. Unfortunately, the colleagues who ordered the chicken schnitzel had to wait almost 40 minutes for their food, while the others had long since finished. When it finally arrived, the portion was disappointingly small - and for a whopping €22, which I found really unreasonable for what was on offer. The fries were overly salted and the dessert, a baked apple with vanilla sauce, also didn't live up to my expectations, especially given the price. Overall, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and didn't seem well prepared for the situation.

The food at Gänsebesen was very good! Even when there is a lot going on, eating doesn't take too long. The prices are according to the ambience.

I went there spontaneously for the first time today, but it would have been better to make a reservation. Located in a residential area, the restaurant doesn't really stand out from the outside. But the food was great and the prices were also very reasonable. The cuisine is home-style, without a lot of frills.

Unfortunately not as good as before. The menu was significantly shortened and the food itself was not good at all. One schnitzel was partially burnt, the other two schnitzels were soggy and the tarte flambée tasted like plastic. It's a real shame because the store used to be quite good.

I tried calling for almost a week to make a reservation for the baptism of my son and my godchild there. I even sent an email. Without success.

There is something on the menu for every taste. The food was really tasty, the meat was very tender. The dessert afterwards was the icing on the cake. The service staff were attentive and friendly. Everything went quickly and yet without hectic. I can absolutely recommend the Alte Hofkammer. Our next appointment to enjoy a meal is already there ;-).

Often there, regardless of whether it is private or a small company party. The quality of the food is great and the portions are generous, the service is first class and your four-legged friend is also welcome. We'll all be back and look forward to the friendly team.

Unfortunately, the food selection didn't really convince us. The menu is very small, which doesn't really bother us, but there wasn't really anything here for us. The service was okay but not very friendly either. The location is actually really nice but unfortunately you sit in many places in the passage without a room divider. We sat with our backs to the bar and the service staff were there the whole time. We also asked for another table but unfortunately it would have been the same. So unfortunately we didn't really feel comfortable.
