Die Dame am Empfang war sehr unfreundlich. Am liebsten wären wir gleich wieder gegangen. Die Bedienung am Tisch war auch nicht besser: wir hatten einen Gutschein eingelöst, aber nicht voll aufgebraucht, da wir danach noch was im Hofladen kaufen wollten. Daraufhin meinte die Bedienung sie hätte sowas ja noch nicht erlebt und jetzt müsste sie extra einen neuen Gutschein schreiben mit dem Restbetrag. Sorry, so was geht nicht. Komme nicht wieder.

Erneut müssen wir dieses Jahr sehr deutliche Qualitätsverluste erkennen. Der Spargel nach 8 Minuten serviert war mehr als „Todgekocht“, auch die Kratzete nicht mit der Vergangenheit zu vergleichen. Diese Erkenntnisse in Bezug auf Qualitätsverlust haben wir bereits beim letzten Rinderbesen wahrnehmen müssen. Die Preise gehen nach oben aber die Qualität eklatant nach unten.

We've been there several times in the last few years, but won't be returning anytime soon. The broth comes from a paper cup, not the usual ceramic bowl, cold and self-service. The asparagus is "old French" dry (asparagus topped with three thin slices of Camembert) and that's it for €21.90. The prices for drinks and food in general are completely exorbitant and overpriced. Everything is very superficial in terms of service. It's a shame, really, because you could do more with less.

I called a while ago to reserve a table for four people. Friendliness on the phone was unfortunately completely misunderstood here. Since we had an hour's drive, I wanted to make sure we got a table (which is why you call in the first place). I was told to just drop by, as they don't take reservations. The tone was not only very harsh but incredibly rude, for no reason. When I asked again whether another day would be better, I was treated like I was stupid. We will definitely not try to reserve there again. Disrespectful manner and on top of that, pretty rude and cheeky. Unfortunately not professional!

Dining here is like a poem. The taste is unparalleled, and the portion sizes satisfy even the most seasoned eater. Fresh produce from our own gardens, and the option to take everything home from our shop next door. Expect to pay at least €30 per person, but in return, you're paying for local produce, a clear conscience, and a family-run business. Just as it should be.

First of all, we have been customers and guests for years, including at Spargelbesen. Last year, we thought it was a slip-up, but this year, unfortunately, the disappointment has repeated itself. First of all, the table service is excellent; that's really rare. But now to the criticism: - The soup that came with it bore no relation to what was usually served. Too heavily seasoned, especially pepper, and bitter. Okay, the chef's greeting doesn't always have to be good, but this was completely unacceptable. - The tarte flambée (all of them) had almost no sour cream on the crust; the bacon just barely fell off. Onions were completely missing from the Alsatian tarte flambée, which is completely unacceptable and can't even be justified by the "Alsatian style." A tarte flambée for almost €14. You'd actually expect something. - The asparagus carbonara was almost runny in all of them – slightly thickened, not at all creamy as usual, and unfortunately quite tasteless. And no, adding more salt won't help either. You could have found asparagus in there, and the price of almost €17 is pretty cheeky. - only the "slim asparagus" was okay in terms of value for money and also tasted okay. But the "best" is yet to come. The kitchen is so inflexible that they don't offer children's or senior citizen portions because (quote from the service) "that's too much work for the kitchen." Well, our real Besen around the corner can handle that, and any other halfway decent restaurant can, as standard. All in all, you end up with a hefty bill and, unfortunately, confirmation that the quality and value for money are continually declining. An absolute disappointment, and unfortunately, we won't be seeing you again.

I love it there... the ambiance is super modern, and so is the concept, with dishes that match the seasons. The asparagus whisk is highly recommended! All the cakes are also included. We went there on a public holiday without a reservation and easily got a table, as the weather was nice and they have tables outside for guests without reservations.

The service is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is large, and accordingly, it tends to be quite noisy. Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as it's usually very busy. Another visit on May 28, 2025, with 5 people at Spargelbesen: This time, everything was perfect again, and the asparagus was buttery soft! The portions were very generous (see the last two photos). I love it! Except for the above-average price, we were all very satisfied! Special praise goes to our friendly and attentive service!! Visit/Review from 2024 for visit to Gänsebesen: We have been coming to Bauerles Besen in Fellbach-Schmiden twice a year (Spargelbesen/Gänsebesen) with friends and (ex-)colleagues for at least 20 years. We were always impressed by the good quality of the seasonal dishes on offer and very satisfied! This year, for the first time, I was very disappointed with my roast goose, which, by the way, cost €29.90 without any side dishes! Not only was the portion (accidentally) small, but the meat (a single piece without bones) was extremely dry, and the meat on the leg was so dry that it couldn't be cut with a knife and fork! The red cabbage, on the other hand, was delicious as usual (separate price component), as were the dumplings as a side dish (not chosen)! The other dishes (meatballs, potato salad, or goose pan) were good! Despite this year's disappointment, we will be back next year during asparagus season and Advent and hope that this time it was just a one-time slip-up! The location and staff are expressly excluded from criticism, as they were very nice and exceptionally friendly!

Review of the Bäuerle Restaurant in Fellbach: The Bäuerle Restaurant in Fellbach boasts attractive décor, captivating with beautiful nuances and influences from South Africa. The atmosphere clearly shows that Johannes Bäuerle drew much inspiration from his time in South Africa. However, this inspiration is unfortunately not reflected in the wine selection. The wines offered often resemble blackcurrant spritzers and, due to their lack of quality, do not justify the high price. Further training in the South African wine region of Franschhoek could help improve the wine selection and produce high-quality wines. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and the dishes are prepared promptly under heat lamps and brought to the table. Prices have risen considerably since the simpler days when the restaurant was still a broom in a tent. A simple meal for two people, without dessert, now costs around €85. The service is friendly and attentive, but often overwhelmed, especially during peak times. This somewhat impairs the service. There's an elderly lady at the reception whose unfriendliness is noticeable. Hospitality, such as eye contact, a smile, and a kind word, is often lacking here, which tarnishes the first impression. Unfortunately, the restrooms were not in an appetizing condition, which also raises questions about the general hygiene of the restaurant. There is an urgent need for action to improve cleanliness and hygiene. Overall, the experience at Restaurant Bäuerle can be described as "always trying." It would be time to make some changes, especially in the reception area, to provide guests with a consistently positive experience.

Once a year, during asparagus season, it's traditionally a long-awaited event for us. We reserved a table months ago, which is necessary because it's always packed and every table is full. Nevertheless, we were seated extremely uncomfortably with three people in the farthest, darkest corner at a tiny table (80x100cm). Criticisms were expressed, but only justifications and no alternatives. Very disappointing! The asparagus wasn't good this time either – watery and completely tasteless. The side dishes were otherwise of a high standard, which is to be expected for the price. That was it for us here; it was the last time. It's a shame, but it can't go on like this.

With the new asparagus season upon us, we wanted to eat asparagus again. Even though they aren't the cheapest... the food is okay. When we got there, it happened... The website says opening hours are until 11 p.m., but when we arrived at 9:20 p.m., they outrageously said the kitchen is open until 9 p.m. And kitchen hours aren't actually opening hours, so next time I'll just call ahead... I was just unlucky as a customer, I was rudely told. Terrible service, there are plenty of other restaurants who are happy to take my money. I definitely won't leave it here.

I recently went there for lunch for the first time in a long time. The food was tasty, the service was ok, but all in all you have to say: the prices are a disgrace. I paid 30 euros for an asparagus dish for lunch, and there wasn't even any ham. Bauerles Besen ist schon ein kleiner Widerspruch. Der Name ist hier sicher nicht Programm. Ein Besen ist etwas kleines Überschauberes (in der Regel). Hier haben wir eine sehr große Anlage und eine Atmosphäre ähnlich einem großen Brauhaus. Das ist richtige Massenabfertigung und dementsprechend ist die Atmosphäre sehr laut. Wir durften uns sogar den Tisch noch mit anderen Gästen teilen, damit möglichst viele Leute Platz finden. Die Preise richtig heftig. Zum Spargel kann man sicher alles extra bezahlen von den Kartoffeln bis zur Soße ist hier nichts dabei und eine Portion Kartoffeln kostet da schon 4,50€ und die Soße (zum Beispiel Butter) 2 €. Wenn ich hier noch etwas dazu nehme wie etwa Lachs oder ein Schnitzel kostet das Essen schnell über 40€. Ich habe mich neulich für die Hackfleischküchle entschieden, aber auch da passt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Mit 13,50€ (in der Karte steht noch 12,90€) für zwei extrem kleine Küchle muss man sich dann doch wundern. Sie haben sehr gut geschmeckt keine Frage, aber die Größe geht gar nicht. Als Beilage gab es lediglich etwas trockenes Brot, auch da könnte man mehr erwarten. Beim Wein nehme ich als Beispiel den Grauburgunder: Hier werden stolze 4,60€ für 0,1 l verlangt. Ordentliche Preise für einen Besen. Wir sind hier nicht in der Sterneküche, wenn man aber gleich den Eindruck bekommen mag, dass allein von der Anlage und dem modernen Gebäude ein exklusiveres Publikum angesprochen werden soll (mit eigenem Weinshop). Geschmacklich gut, Service gut, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis halte ich nicht für ausgewogen.

Wollten uns nach dem Essen am Abend noch Erdbeeren aus dem Besen-Automaten für 5,50 EUR mitnehmen. Wir sind seit Jahren hier her gerne zum Essen gekommen…Der Automat gibt uns keine Beeren und auch nicht unser Geld zurück. Soweit kein Problem, bis zum Zeitpunkt als der Inhaber uns offensichtlich Betrugsabsichten unterstellen will und weder Erdbeeren noch Geld zurückgeben möchte!? Dieses Verhalten spricht für sich und wir haben so was noch nicht erlebt. Mögen unsere 5 EUR dem Besen helfen….

DANGER!! Extremely disappointing! I wanted to buy food (e.g. strawberries) from the machine - the machine simply swallowed my money and didn't give out anything. As if that wasn't bad enough, the note on the machine also treats you as if you were a fraudster, even though you yourself were cheated! Despite several witnesses who were able to confirm the incident, my money was not returned. Absolutely disrespectful treatment of honest customers (it was previously eaten for 150 euros). I will definitely never buy anything here again!

The waiting time for service has now increased significantly and the food arrives at a different time. I'm happy to go to the broom, but with a somewhat clouded mood because of the prices and the price-performance ratio. Update asparagus broom: in my opinion it is no longer a good price-performance ratio and mass production.

I visited Bauerles on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The outdoor area was well filled - there was a free choice of seating, most of the time you sat with others at long beer benches. The service was quick, professional and mostly friendly. To get us in the mood, there was a greeting from the kitchen: asparagus stock. A nice gesture, solid in taste, but a bit too sweet. We then chose two asparagus dishes - the asparagus comes from the farm's own cultivation. The tarte flambée was convincing across the board: crispy base, well topped, balanced in taste – definitely a highlight. The asparagus carbonara, on the other hand, was unfortunately a slip-up. The pasta was overcooked, the sauce seemed creamy and tasteless at the same time - neither asparagus nor seasoning really came into its own. Conclusion: Nice ambience, local ingredients, fast service and I can recommend the tarte flambée.

Unfortunately, this is a very corrupt family business. I had the pleasure of working there. The waiters' tips are confiscated, and the waiters receive a flat rate per working day, which is approximately one-third of the total tips. It's a shame that this happens. Great atmosphere, everything beautifully decorated... top service, very attentive and friendly. I had the beef fillet steak medium, perfectly seasoned exactly to the point, very tender... the spaetzle was homemade... the potato salad was fresh... then another Danube wave plus a cappuccino, everything was great, very satisfied, I'll be back at any time... I was very impressed by the restaurant, thanks for the delicious food :)

I actually come here every year. I understand that many reviews are complaining about the price, yeah they are not price friendly. However, I really love the food and atmosphere here. The white asparagus can be a bit softer, but it is a taste preference. I will definitely come back here again next year and a year later...

Today we went to Bauerles in Fellbach for a goose meal and we were thrilled. The food was excellent. Tender, juicy and perfectly prepared. The restaurant is furnished in a very modern way and invites you to feel good. Particularly noteworthy is the super friendly service, which made the evening even more pleasant. Parking is somewhat limited considering the size of the place, but the nearest S-Bahn station is just a short walk away, making the visit very straightforward. Absolutely recommended. We'd love to come back.

Nice atmosphere for a sociable evening. Unfortunately the goose was anything but good. About 50% bones and that for almost €30 (without side dishes). The dumplings had a neutral taste and the sauce was far too little. As we were clearing away the waiter asked how it tasted. But he didn't comment at all on the honest, negative assessment of the food. There was also no other reaction. Apparently this restaurant has enough solvent customers.

If you want to go out to eat with the family it is very pleasant, the staff is very nice and the food is just very good. What is also worth mentioning is that when the weather is nice, the little ones have the opportunity to play outside on a playground right in the corner of their eyes. I have known this restaurant for 30 years and have always enjoyed celebrating family celebrations there, and we will continue to maintain this tradition.
