Very arrogant gentleman on the other end of the line. We wanted to celebrate our civil wedding in your home on December 14th, 2024. When asked whether it was possible to choose the table yourself for this special occasion, it was answered in the negative with the explanation: "We decide where to sit you down". After we pointed out to the gentleman that we were not used to this rude service and this kind of tonality from your establishment, we were simply told that we didn't need to come. We are not used to this behavior on your part and will never frequent your house again under these circumstances. Absolutely no recommendation.

I actually really enjoy going to Gleis 1, the food is (very) good and you never have to wait long. Yesterday I ordered a sausage salad again - very tasty as usual, but unfortunately a (significantly) smaller portion than before. It is now no longer served on a salad plate, but on a smaller dinner plate (probably so that it is not noticeable). The result is annoying and unacceptable - you don't get full.

For years, very good quality food at still reasonable prices. Service very attentive and friendly. Everything very clean. You feel comfortable here inside and out. Always happy to come here.

The food was very tasty but I didn't think the prices were right. The plate wasn't decorated at all so it wasn't appealing at all. The temperature in the restaurant wasn't really inviting either. Getting a drink was a matter of luck, whether the waiter was available.

The Birnauer Oberhof is beautifully located right next to the B 31 opposite the Birnau Basilica with a wonderful view of Lake Constance, surrounded by vines. You can eat well and inexpensively in the wine bar with restaurant! The menu is varied and of good quality. The prices are reasonable and reasonable. The service is attentive and friendly! The wines offered by the Margrave of Baden taste excellent and can also be bought in the farm shop right next door! The Oberhof is particularly suitable for celebrations! A really beautiful place, a stop - combined with a visit to the monastery church - is definitely recommended! The prelate hiking trail to/from Salem Castle also passes here and is easy to walk and worthwhile (tip: take the bus to Salem and walk back).

Posto decisamente teutonico con un sapore antico. Cibo passabile e prezzi modici. Simpatica la signora che ci ha servito e, anche se parlava esclusivamente tedesco, ci siamo intesi ugualmente.

Restaurant with the charm of a canteen. The open kitchen makes it loud and not very comfortable. When you enter there is a strong smell of frying oil. The quality of the food was poor. Staff friendly and helpful.
