Unfortunately it will close forever in a few days. The whole neighborhood will miss it. When I think about the reasons why, I quickly feel very sick. The large pharmacy around the corner also closed its doors forever.

Fondue in the shepherd's wagon The four of us had booked the fondue in the shepherd's wagon. As soon as you order, you are informed that you should arrive on time. No problem. Were there on time. The shepherd's wagon wasn't quite ready yet and the waitress kindly told us that we should just go over to the Christmas market and get our mulled wine there. In the meantime, she's getting the car ready. No problem, we went over to the Christmas market and told it to the staff there, and then the initial mood was gone. First there were discussions and then an angry boss rushed towards the shepherd's wagon. We stood around pretty stupid and didn't know what kind of film was going on. At some point the cursing and loud boss came back and we gritted our teeth and were given our mulled wine. Fortunately, I was the only one who chose the apple punch. It tasted very good. The mulled wine - whether white or red - had absolutely nothing to do with mulled wine. Just hot wine with no spices. We then went over to the shepherd's wagon, which was now completely set up and everything was on the table. Our waitress explained the process to us and explained to us that we could order bread and salad again, the rest costs extra. Then she asked what we wanted for wine. Half a bottle per person is included or paid extra. Since we had a long drive home, only one person wanted wine, the others still had to drive. Sydney, our waitress, said it wasn't a problem, we could get another drink instead. Which we gladly accepted. We then waited half an hour for these drinks. Well, it can happen sometimes. The shepherd's wagon number 5 is probably the smallest, and is also crooked and the stairs are unfortunately no longer very trustworthy. Due to the size of the car, there is hardly any space at the table to eat. There is a fondue pot where you unfortunately cannot regulate the temperature. The flame burns and you have to stand by it. Eat quickly so that the cheese doesn't burn at the bottom. There is also - for 4 people - a cereal bowl with potato salad, one with white cabbage salad, one with small potatoes, one mixed pickles, a bread basket and 4 mushrooms (one mushroom per person😂) and a bowl with leaf salad. Although the website explicitly states that there is no alcohol in the cheese fondue, it was served with kirsch, and plenty of it. It works well when pregnant women trust what is written on the website. After half an hour our waitress came with the drinks we had initially ordered and we were allowed to order another bread basket and leaf salad. The rest would no longer be included. It was freezing cold when we visited and it was just as cold in the shepherd's wagon as it was outside. A small space heater would have been nice. Blankets don't help when the cold comes in from below and the doors are open when you straighten the car and all the cold comes in. It's a real shame that this great idea with the fondue is handled so carelessly. First the not exactly warm welcome with the mulled wine, then the cold car with hardly space for 4 people, the long waiting time and the really tightly priced food. Just handing out lettuce and bread for free isn't possible. But the best thing is that at the end we had to pay for the non-alcoholic drinks (1 drink per person) that we drank instead of the wine. We were offered drinks as a replacement! Unfortunately, the whole stay left a bad impression on us.

I ate Schwabenpfännle, the meat was tough. SHAME!!! Lots of room for improvement.

We were there for breakfast brunch. Really very very good. Nothing was missing. Highly recommended!!!

The restaurant has a great atmosphere if you like the open tavern style. The employees were all extremely friendly and super fast. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince us 100% - unfortunately it was only served lukewarm, the meat and pork medallions - cooked a little too long and not very seasoned. But the dessert was impressive - apple fritters. Overall maybe a bit expensive.

Beautiful and simple restaurant, great service, very friendly and attentive. Food was super tasty, very good price-performance ratio. Back soon.

Die Entscheidung, nicht unten am See sondern etwas weiter oben zu essen, wurde mit Freundlichkeit und sehr gutem Essen belohnt. Die Karotten-Ingwer-Suppe ein Traum, das Titisee-Pfännle (mit Spätzle, Pilzen und 2 Schnitzeln mit Pilzrahmsauce) war ein Gedicht.

We got pizza for the second time today and were again very satisfied with the quality of the pizzas. For a restaurant on a campsite, the cuisine is really very good. I can't really judge the ambience because we ate the pizzas in the motorhome.

A very nice (and filling) German meal at a beautiful traditional restaurant. My partner and I both ate the "today's special" and were very satisfied with food quality/quantity, the lovely staff, the traditional atmosphere and the reasonable prices.

Very clean, nice service, nice ambience. Despite the restaurant being full, we were able to spontaneously get a seat for two people. We just had a drink. Were warmly welcomed. The dishes served by the guests at the next tables looked very large and appetizing.
