Wirtshaus Lautenschlager in Stuttgart

Wir waren zu viert im Lautenschlager. Ohne Reservierung hätten wir am Freitag wohl keinen Platz bekommen… Die Speisekarte ist gut bestückt, auch vegetarisch wird angeboten. Das Essen kam zügig für alle - es hätte etwas wärmer sein können, besonders die Pommes waren nur lauwarm. Die Speisen waren allesamt gut zubereitet und auch gut gewürzt - kurzum, es hat geschmeckt! Leider ist die Geräuschkulisse, wenn das Lokal voll besetzt ist, sehr hoch, so dass eine Unterhaltung anstrengend wird.

Fui allí solo, el lugar estaba medio vacío. Mesa preguntada, la señora de la puerta me dice que suba. Solo hay poca gente pero no personal. Después de esperar 5 minutos me fui a sentar una mesa vacía. Solo 1 minuto después de que el camarero vino y me dijo que no puedo sentarme allí. Pregunté dónde podía sentarme, sin respuesta. Me fui. Nadie preguntó lo que quería ni siquiera me dijo hola.

Muy buena comida y servicio. El codillo “espectacular”! Buen ambiente y ubicación. Los postres (tartas de varios tipos) muy buenas!!

Viel zu laut, kein Gespräch möglich, dringend muss gedämmt werden

Waren mit einer großen Gruppe dort. Essen und Bier war sehr gut die Bedienung auf Zack. Allerdings ist sehr laut dort, Unterhaltung nur mit dem Nebenmann möglich.

Our waiter was phenomenal and super easy to speak to.

Ich fand es es etwas unverschämt vom Personal darauf hingewiesen zu werden wie das Trinkgeld verteilt wird, da offensichtlich das Personal nicht zufrieden war mit der Höhe und ich habe mich genötigt gefühlt mehr zu geben.

Der sommerliche Salat lt. Karte bestehend aus Karotten, Tomaten, Gurken und Blattsalaten beinhaltete 10 Raspel Karotte (man konnte sie wirklich zählen, so wenig waren es), 3 Stück Tomate (zusammen also nicht mal eine ganze Tomate) und 3 Scheiben Gurke. 16 Euro für einen Berg Blattsalat, der im Einkauf 50 Cent kostet, ist aus meiner Sicht unverschämt.

Das Restaurant hat sehr schöne Plätze im Innen- und Außenbereich. Vor allem genießen wir die Plätze auf der Terrasse im 1. Stock. Sehr leckere Gerichte, für jeden etwas dabei. Wir mögen sehr die Brotteiggerichte, eine Art Deien süß oder salzig.. Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich.

Nice ambience in summer on the large terrace on the 1st floor. The food was good, but the price was too high for the quality delivered. 20€ for a pub burger with a convinience patty and roll is very steep. The cheese spaetzle could also use more flavor and spice. Other pubs in the area can do it better and cheaper too! The drinks are good, the “Wirtshaus Spritz” is something different.

It's great to sit on the terrace. Nicely decorated inside too. The food was good, but still has room for improvement. Service was top.

The food is very tasty, but €10.90 for two Maultaschen with some potato salad is a lot. Unfortunately, this main course was not filling. Long drinks consist of 90% crushed ice and only taste like juice. Very bad. The person in charge of the bar did not respond to the criticism and did not accommodate us. Addendum: Waiters suggest their own tip (15%), which seems very dubious.

Nice location with very tasty food. The price was also very good and the staff was super friendly.

The burger was cooked through even though I ordered medium. The vanilla sauce in the apple strudel tasted more like vanilla yogurt and the milk foam for our daughter was just hot milk, no foam.

Little of everything for the whole family. Food tastes fresh and good. Service very friendly and attentive. Our fav dish is the pork knuckle, we had the half portion and is very filling with crispy skin and great taste. We recommend this, salad was also good with good portion of meat.

Totally fail! Beef has a strange surface that seems slippery, then you bite into meat that tastes like liver! Frozen for too long and poor quality would rather be killed? Salad with purchased dressing.. Lemonade with syrup. About 1/3 of the glass is filled with it.

Unfortunately the price/performance ratio doesn't quite match. I would recommend less convenience. Waiter was very friendly.

Leider waren die Bedienungen nicht sehr aufmerksam. Als wir ankamen mussten wir die Bedienung erst noch darum bitten, den Tisch einmal abzuwischen. Als die Getränke kamen wurden sie einfach vor eine von 4 Personen auf den Tisch gestellt, ohne sie zu verteilen. Anstatt sich aufmerksam den Gästen zu widmen standen die Bedienungen abseits mit ihren Handys zusammen. Das Essen war leider auch nichts besonderes. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis hat leider nicht gestimmt.

Das Essen war leider super trocken: egal ob Kässpätzle oder bbq

Von den Multaschen mit Kartoffelsalat war ich wirklich enttäuscht. Bei einem Wirtshaus erwarte ich schon, dass der Kartoffelsalat selbstgemacht ist. Auch die Röstzwiebeln waren gekauft. Hier hätte ich mir frische gewünscht. Das Aperolglas war nur bis zur Hälfte gefüllt. Enttäuschende Erfahrung.

The food is good, the prices are not too high. Nice service. A plus for the restaurant is the first floor with a balcony.

Super leckeres, frisches Essen, tolle Bedienung. Alles in allem super gut und zu empfehlen!

Ich hatte den Wirtshaus Salat für 15,50 mit folgenden Zutaten: Blattsalate | Gurke | Karotte | Tomate Schwarzwälder Schinkenchip | Bergkäse Brotchip | Kartoffeldressing | 2 Scheiben Hausbrot Für mich war hier das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis leider nicht in Ordnung. Die zwei Scheiben Brot waren so dick geschnitten, dass auf dem Teller nicht mehr viel Platz war für den eigentlichen Salat. Daher lagen nur 2 Scheiben Gurke und 2 Scheiben Tomaten im Teller und der Rest war mit Blattsalat und ein klein wenig Bergkäse dekoriert. Die Schinkenchip waren so salzig, dass ich sie nicht essen konnte. Meine Empfehlung an die Küche: 1 Scheibe Brot und keine Brotchip, dafür mehr Salat im Teller. Die Schinkenchip nur nach Wahl. Das stimmt sicherlich jeden Kunden zufriedener.

Nice restaurant with balcony and terrace. Pleasant and friendly service. The meal of the day was super tasty and a decent portion.

Good breaded slice of veal with a little potato salad.

Die Lage und Terrasse ist sehr gut.Auch das Personal war flott und freundlich.Die eigentliche Enttäuschung war das Essen. Meine 2 Maultaschen waren geschmacklich absolut nicht gut. Fade, mit einer pappigen Brötchenmasse gefüllt. Unter allen schwäbischen Lokalen die Maultaschen anbieten mit das schlechteste! Auch der beiliegende Kartoffelsalat war echt nichts! Die Krautschupfnudel waren eine sehr große Portion, aber ebenfalls kein Genuss! SCHADE!!!

Habe die Wirthausplatte bestellt mit kleinem Schnitzel (sehr dünn, etwas trocken), Käsespätzle ( damit war der ganze Teller voll, Tipp:lieber weniger Spätzle u. einen Salat dazu), Maultaschen waren gut, unschön angerichtet. Wein zu teuer

The food came cold and extremely salty. The service are trying to do their best, they were professional. But you could easily notice how Overstrained they were. A lot to do and too few people to do it. It was second and last visit.

Habe meinen Abschied in der Mittagspause dort gefeiert. Essen hat zwar etwas gedauert war aber lecker und üppig. Service sehr freundlich. Immer wieder gerne.

Cozy location in the center of Stuttgart. We were able to get a spot outside on Saturday. The service was polite and attentive. Because of the crowds, everything probably took a little longer, but that didn't bother me because I was there to linger. The "house" drinks were delicious. The burger was OK. The price-performance ratio is right (for Stuttgart). When I used the sanitary facilities, I found them to be in a clean condition.

The food is not bad. The service was really not good. We had our food but still no drinks. I had to ask 3 times. They served the beer after finished food. So I canceled it. It’s a pity. Had been here a couple of times. Like I said food is not bad. But service decreased

Great food, service and drinks! As a first time visitor from America, this restaurant was a great spot to hit up! Very pleasant servers that spoke English and menus were easy to read. Fairly short wait, even as the place was quite busy. Overall a wonderful dining experience!

Wonderful meal and good service, the pulled pork burger was a dream, prices absolutely reasonable and centrally located in the city, which unfortunately doesn't work without traffic

How can you pour beer like that? You get a “beer” that consists almost entirely of foam.

The only thing which is not perfect about the atmosphere is the level of loudness on the upper floor. It was not possible to hear each other but the food and the staff was really nice

Das Essen war sehr unappetitlich. Wir hatten beide einen Salat und dieser war beim Servieren bereits richtig zusammen gesessen. Vermutlich lag er schon lange im Dressing. Ich konnte meinen Beilagensalat überhaupt nicht essen (eine sehr kleine Portion für 5,90€!) .... habe ihn komplett zurück gehen lassen. Auch den zweiten Salat (Wirtshaus Salat für 15,50€) haben wir im Grunde nur zur Hälfte gegessen. Der Service war nett.

The place looks nice, but don’t let that fool you. The service was very slow and a bit rude. When we arrived the waiter threw the menus on our table, and we had long waiting times even if there weren’t a lot of guests there. We saw five workers sitting downstairs when we were leaving after waiting for someone to take our order for a while, after having some entries.

Unfortunately the service is very bad. Sitting here for almost 20 minutes was not asked by any waiter and simply walked past several times and ignored even though the neighbor's table was already there. And unfortunately the plate was also very salty and more of a children's portion. Not recommendable

We were invited by the company and I had a roast with spaetzle and black beer sauce. The roast was poorly fried, the sauce seemed to have been bought and the spaetzle was just cheap. The price for the food was clearly too high. However, the service and ambience were good.

Unfortunately, the kohlrabi schnitzel tastes like a butcher tried to make something vegetarian.

We were a larger group. Waiters attentive. You can eat at the same time and it tasted very good. Everyone would be happy. What more do you want.

Food: 3, wasn't bad but nothing special. Could be better prepared. Service: 2, the place was not close to full capacity and instead of good and quick service, we got a slow and bad service. Didn't like the experience at all - it was even worse than the normal service in Germany. Atmosphere: 5, the restaurant was a good location and good environment.

Simple, well prepared food, fair prices (for down town!), nice location.

Das Einzigste was zu bemängeln wäre, ist der Geräuschpegel auf der Terrasse, der die Unterhaltungen erschwert hat. Mag aber auch an dem tollen Wetter und dem Summit Festival in unmittelbarer Nähe liegen.

The food was okay, but the service was very poor. After waiting 20 minutes to pay, the waiter asked for a tip.

For such a high price, I expected a higher quality of food. Therefore the beef broth, which costs almost 10 euros, was heavily salted and simply made from beef powder and water... For this price the portion could have been larger. I ate this soup with 5 spoons. I also ordered quart dumplings, but was also disappointed. Because they consist of 99% flour and only 1% quark. I don't recommend it to anyone The coffee was also very terrible…

Too few waiters, but nice location.

We ate at the inn for the second time (as a couple) and can warmly recommend it to everyone. Despite the extremely hot weather and the European Championship game, we got a great place on the large balcony. Drinks came super quickly and the homemade spritzers and iced teas are particularly delicious. The food is of very good quality, has sufficient portions and tastes really delicious. Particularly noteworthy is the super friendly service. The “waiter” Sammy (Samy?) was very attentive and gave us no reason to complain. One can only be happy about such friendly and very motivated cooperation despite the heat! A really nice, friendly and kind-hearted person. We will definitely come back. Greetings from the Rhineland

Stopped by to have a few beers and snacks. The service was great, with most servers we spoke with being able to speak English (and understand Scottish!). We were never sat waiting to ask for drink/food as the servers were coming by every so often to ensure we had a drink! If back in Stuttgart, I will definitely be coming back.

Excellent dining experience! We stopped in for a quick lunch and were seated on the impressive balcony. Nothing was too much trouble for the waiter who even took away the baby food and heated it instead of the usual cup of hot water we’d been getting elsewhere. Food and drinks were promptly served which wasn’t always the case in Stuttgart, delicious into the bargain. Well worth a visit for some authentic German fare.

Had a great experience to eat here with my colleagues. We had booked the table beforehand and also invited some extra guests. The place was comfortable for everyone as well as the food & ambience. Personally I wished if they had more options in vegetarian food as well..

A great restaurant with attentive staff and fantastic food

Rather more expensive, value for money is just okay. The eggs in the glass weren't that convincing. The guacamole in the jar wasn't fresh and neither were the tomatoes. Of course, preparing the jars in advance makes sense, but unfortunately the taste suffered. The local bread as a side dish was very good and so was the spaetzle portion.

The food was very standard, the haxe was sold out and the steaks were very disappointing. The cheese cake was not a real cheese cake, but rather just a cake of some sort. The waiter was attentive, but he was to busy because of EURO 2024.

Confident 4 stars for the restaurant. Lunch was good, staff friendly and accommodating, prices moderate. The location is great! I can highly recommend the venison ragout for the evening :)

Good place to go in Stuttgart. Were there as part of a company event. The location is centrally located and looks very chic inside. There is also a large balcony. The restaurant is big. Staff was nice and coped well with the number of guests. As is known in Stuttgart, prices are rather high for what you get. Unfortunately, my biggest criticism is that the food tasted mediocre. I had a schnitzel. The portion was totally sufficient for me as a woman. Unfortunately, some colleagues didn't like other dishes either. The ambience is great, but the food is unfortunately rather mediocre, which is probably due to the sheer quantity. There are also some drinks. We still had a good evening.

Were there with a group. Everything was fine. Very friendly and attentive service. The food is of good to excellent quality. One or two dishes could perhaps have been a little warmer. Especially the soup and the curd dumplings. The location of the restaurant is great, and in our opinion the prices are cheap to reasonable.
