From the presentation of the food to the location and the not-so-standard menu selection, you can see the attention to detail. The restaurant invites you to linger. You can immerse yourself in another world for a short time. Prices are on the upper end of the mid-range, but well-justified. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties. There is no parking at the restaurant due to its central location in the city center. The restrooms are on the lower floor without an elevator. Families with small children looking for a play area won't find what they're looking for here, but there are plenty of alternatives in the surrounding area.

Wir haben die Lokalität über die "Neo Taste" App entdeckt und einen Deal "Zwei Hauptgerichte für eins" gebucht. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt, konnten uns den Sitzplatz aussuchen. Das Ambiente ist offen und gemütlich, die Speisekarte ansprechend. Die Getränke und Speisen kamen schnell und waren super lecker. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

I expected more from the brunch compared to others I’ve been to. There’s not a lot of options to be considered brunch but more like German breakfast items. I would definitely go back for other food items but not the brunch. The price doesn’t match the food options. The vibe of the restaurant is very welcoming and the wait staff amazing. The drink tower I have not tried but will go back to try it.

We came to Wilma Wunder on July 17th around 9:40 PM — a group of four, just wanting to have a calm dinner. None of us were rude or demanding. We greeted the staff, politely placed our order, and sat down. But from the very beginning, I felt like we weren’t welcome there. The waitress who served us didn’t smile once and treated us as if we were a burden. Meanwhile, we saw her being friendly and joking with other guests. That contrast made it even more upsetting — we were paying customers too. What’s heartbreaking is that just before entering the restaurant, we took a photo of me standing happily with flowers at the entrance. I looked genuinely excited for a lovely evening — I could have never imagined how quickly that mood would be ruined. But the worst part came later. She brought the drinks and accidentally dropped a mug of boiling water — right on me and one of our friends. The hot water splashed all over my legs and groin area — it was painful and shocking. And you know what she did? Almost nothing. Just muttered a quick “sorry” and walked away. No concern, no “are you okay?”, no napkins, no offer to help or move us. We had to clean up and change tables ourselves. We ended up sitting in wet clothes, no longer interested in ordering anything else. The service remained tense and rude. It felt like anything we said irritated her. She argued about our order, pulled faces, and raised her voice — and at some point, I honestly started to feel emotionally unsafe. As a woman, I felt especially uncomfortable — both physically and mentally. I came to relax and enjoy time with people I care about, but ended up feeling humiliated, hurt, and completely unwelcome. We left having barely touched our food, with ruined moods and a deep sense of disappointment. That photo at the entrance — where I looked so happy — now feels like a sad irony. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Respect, safety, and basic politeness aren’t luxuries — they are the bare minimum, especially in hospitality.

I had invited my friends to Wilma Wunder because I had celebrated my birthday there before – and back then, everything was great: delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. I was truly convinced it was a good restaurant. But on July 17th, four of us came for dinner – and I still can't believe how badly that evening turned out. We arrived around 9:40 p.m., and the restaurant is open until 11:00 p.m. We were sober, polite, friendly, and just wanted to eat in peace. We greeted the staff and said we would like to have dinner. Completely normal – like all guests. But the waitress who served us was cold, dismissive, and unfriendly from the start. No smile, no "hello," no interest – even though we saw her laughing and joking with other guests and colleagues at the same time. But towards us, she acted as if we were unwanted – and for no reason at all. When my friend asked for some extra cheese with her order, the waitress rolled her eyes pointedly – everyone at the table saw. Later, she brought the drinks and, in the process, tipped a cup of boiling water over two of my friends, right onto their thighs and laps! This wasn't a minor accident – it was a serious burn! And most shockingly, she showed no compassion, no concern, no apology – just a cold "Sorry," and then she disappeared. No napkins, no questions asked, no help. She didn't even offer to change tables, even though everything was wet. We had to change ourselves – in wet clothes. It was simply embarrassing. After that, there were more problems with the order, the wrong food was brought, cutlery was missing, and the waitress repeatedly responded with disparaging or even hostile looks. When my friend calmly mentioned that the service was very unfriendly, the waitress suddenly exploded – she spoke loudly, quickly, and in German, as if she were yelling at us or reprimanding us. We didn't understand everything, but it was clear: she was blaming us for even coming – and so late, no less – and that if something didn't suit us, we should just leave and not come back. When a friend politely asked her to give her name or speak to the supervisor, she reacted aggressively again, shouted something rude, turned away, and disappeared. He wanted to take a photo of her name tag, but she just walked away. I was simply stunned and deeply ashamed in front of my friends. I had invited them – and they were treated this way. No one deserves that – especially not in the restaurant industry! The evening was ruined, we left hungry and feeling terrible. Wilma Wunder – what on earth happened to you?

Because of the very unfriendly service, I will not go there again.

We were seated outside, but the staff seemed disinterested and unwelcoming. Our waitress didn’t greet us with a smile or even basic courtesy, although we saw her joking and laughing with a male colleague nearby. When she came to take our order, her expression made it very clear that she wasn’t happy to see us. We ordered: • 1 salad from the summer menu • 2 flammkuchen with salmon • 1 vegetarian flammkuchen with extra cheese When I asked for extra cheese, she visibly rolled her eyes — something everyone at the table noticed. Shortly afterward, we asked for lighting since every other table had candles except ours, but she ignored us, repeatedly walking by without acknowledging our request. Later, we ordered two lemonades and one tea. She returned with the drinks but accidentally spilled a mug of boiling water from the tray — splashing it onto me and my girlfriend, directly on our thighs and groins. This could have caused serious burns. What shocked us even more was her reaction: no real apology, no shock or concern — just a casual “sorry” and then she left. She didn’t offer napkins, assistance, or even ask if we were okay. She didn’t offer to move us, though the entire table was wet, and we ended up relocating ourselves. We had to sit in wet clothes for the rest of the evening. Then, the salad arrived without cutlery. When we asked for it, her facial expression made us so uncomfortable we didn’t feel safe speaking up again. The flammkuchen came — only two instead of three. One was missing, and the vegetarian one had no cheese, even though I specifically requested extra. When we asked about the missing dish, she insisted we only ordered one salmon flammkuchen. All four of us clearly remembered ordering two. At this point, my girlfriend calmly mentioned that the service was extremely unfriendly. The waitress suddenly exploded — she began speaking rapidly in German in what sounded like a scolding or rant. While we didn’t catch every word, the tone was aggressive, and we understood phrases like “if you don’t like it, then don’t come,” and “we don’t want guests like you.” When one of our friends tried to ask for her name or speak with the manager, she refused and shouted something that made him go pale. He tried to look at her name tag, but she turned away and fled inside. Our friend, who had previously celebrated a birthday there, was deeply embarrassed and apologized to us. He said he had never experienced anything like this in a German restaurant. Eventually, we got tired of being ignored, insulted, and sitting in wet clothes, so we left. We didn’t finish eating and didn’t want to continue the evening there. We did not finish our meals and left without paying due to the unsafe and unacceptable treatment. We are open to resolving this if the management feels otherwise. To be clear: we have no complaints about the kitchen itself — the food that arrived came quickly. But the service was completely unacceptable, and the treatment we received was inhumane and unsafe. If I’m mistaken about any details, I invite the restaurant’s management to check their camera recordings from that night. The events, expressions, and lack of action will speak for themselves. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had — not just poor service, but dangerous, disrespectful, and completely lacking in hospitality.

I visited Wilma Wunder for the first time and was completely blown away. The decor is so cozy, I love it. Lots of comfortable armchairs, the outdoor area is varied, the menu is very sweet, and the food combinations are unusual. I loved it and it's always worth a visit.

Wir waren mit der Qualität des Brunchs unzufrieden. Die Auswahl war begrenzt. Das Rührei war trocken und das Fischfilet hatte Gräten und schmeckte fad. Die Hummus-Auswahl sah nicht frisch aus. Was uns gefiel, waren der Kaffee und die Limonaden, die extra kosteten, da sie nicht zum Brunch gehörten. Wir werden dort nicht wieder brunchen und würden es Freunden und Familie nicht empfehlen.

Hi, I personally think the previous rating of 4.2 is too low. Hence my 5 stars. The staff is super friendly and fun. The food was good and fresh. It didn't blow me away, but it was tasty. I like the ambiance inside. The outside could be improved a bit, maybe with more sofas. Restrooms are very clean.

Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir ohne Nachfrage an einen Tisch gesetzt, der offensichtlich nicht für Mahlzeiten gedacht war – ohne zu klären, ob wir essen oder nur etwas trinken möchten. Nach langem Warten teilte uns die Kellnerin mit dem geflochtenen, blonden Haar mit, dass sie uns kein Zitronenstück zum Mineralwasser bringen könne, da zu viel los sei und sie es vorne nicht melden könne. Eine einfache Gin Tonic-Bestellung wurde ebenfalls falsch aufgenommen. Der Flammkuchen war so dünn, dass man ihn kaum normal essen konnte. Das Schnitzel für mein dreijähriges Kind kam mit 20 Minuten Verspätung – immerhin wurde es von einem jungen Kellner gebracht, der sich freundlich entschuldigte. Mein Kind konnte das Wasser nicht trinken, da das Glas unangenehm gerochen hat. Beim Bezahlen war die Kellnerin dann natürlich sehr freundlich. Alles in allem kann ich dieses Lokal leider niemandem empfehlen.

I just ate there, and it was a nightmare. My wife ordered the salmon ravioli, and 30 minutes later, she started sweating, followed by dizziness and fainting. Luckily, other guests at a neighboring table were helpful enough to help her avoid choking on her own vomit. Meanwhile, the waitress was making inappropriate jokes. He said, "So, I've eaten five ravioli now. If I pass out, it really was the fish." There was no supervisor in sight. In the end, the emergency doctor explained that it was most likely histamine food poisoning, which often results from spoiled fish.

Unfortunately, the Sunday brunch is not recommended, the quality has declined significantly. The sweet things like waffles, muffins and mini donuts are all packaged goods, not fresh. The savory toppings such as cheese, sausage, etc. are also not varied. No fresh vegetables such as peppers, cucumbers etc. Available, just tomato mozzarella. All in all, not convincing and of rather poor quality. This is not the right place for people who like it quiet and relaxed.

Went there for the first time today and unfortunately were very disappointed. After a long wait until the service came and then the food, unfortunately it wasn't good at all. It hardly tasted like anything, was watered down and generally a very small portion, especially for the price. The service came very rarely, you have to say that it was full, but not so full that this behavior was justified. The bottom line is, it's too expensive for the low quality. very unfortunate.

The staff is super friendly, attentive and warm, you feel welcome from the first moment. The service was quick and courteous. Here you can feel that hospitality is lived. I would love to come back!

I am totally thrilled with Wilma Wunder. The food (lunch) tasted excellent, the atmosphere is really nice and modern and the waiters, especially our waitress, were very quick and courteous. I would go here again and again!

We went to brunch to discuss things over delicious food. All of my wishes in the online reservation were taken into account and so we were able to combine the meeting and brunch very well. I really like the ambience and also the selection at brunch. From savory to sweet, everything is there and you can really take your time. Our service was magical and that made it all the better for us. :)
