Zeppelin Stüble in Stuttgart

The most expensive bathroom trip I've ever had. Five euros for an espresso so I can use the bathroom even if I'm not a hotel guest. I know where I'll never eat.

Unfortunately, the value for money wasn't good for us. Unfortunately, the food was only partially tasty. The quality has unfortunately declined in recent years.

The price-performance ratio is unfortunately completely off.

Portion size: You have to look with a magnifying glass to find something to eat on the plate. €9 for three small pieces of zucchini as an antipasti platter... interesting.

The quality of the past is no longer there. Unfortunately, the spaetzle is very watery, the meat itself is good but not well prepared. Roast beef without a side salad for €33 and a drink for €5 is not appropriate.

Disappointed. Family of 4. The appetizer salad plate had a watery vinaigrette. For the main course, we had Spätzle with roast beef and onions. The Spätzle were completely watery; we didn't even have to chew them, and they were tasteless. Luckily, the meat was good. In my opinion, the price is completely exorbitant for the quality. When the waiter asked if everything was alright, and I said that the Spätzle were inedible, I would have at least expected him to ask if the kitchen could fix it somehow and offer, for example, a scoop of ice cream or a cappuccino. He didn't. When I asked for the bill, I asked the waiter if he would be kind enough to deduct some of the Spätzle cost. He did so, but he didn't suggest it. I had to bring it up with him. Many thanks to the young woman who cleared our plates. She was very friendly, and I felt like I was being served by a trained hotel and restaurant professional.

We went out to eat together. We weren't sure what the restaurant's concept was. Does it want to position itself in the upscale scene or simply be classic? The ambiance itself is unloving to us. It seems like someone is trying to modernize a restaurant from "bygone times" with minimal resources. It could be done much better. The food was okay, but nothing more. The wine list needs to be revised and brought up to standard. Only the service was excellent and attentive. We wouldn't come back.

Nice atmosphere, but the prices are quite high and don't reflect the quality. The meat was dry and a bit tough. Unfortunately, the food was less than lukewarm, but was then warmed up under a salamander. The service was okay, but also not worth the price. I wouldn't come back on my next visit to Stuttgart.

Panna cotta from the freezer not completely thawed, drinks specifically ordered without lemon and ice, but received exactly the same, instant decaf, it's just too bad for the price. Complained about dessert, no response. Side dish for the steak €9, breakfast €32. Despite the few guests, many service staff seem overwhelmed or are not given good training.

Service treated us condescendingly. The food was a disaster. Caesar salad with a watery vinaigrette, the salmon tartar already cooked (like ceviche) by the lemon and the terrine almost unseasoned. Plus a bottle of wine for €45 which costs €7 in stores. Oh… and the Old Fashions with soda? But the restaurant looks really nice.

Very nice place even if the location near Stuttgart Station and the Metro is not the best. Excellent service and so was the food, the lamb ribs were delicious. Adequate price.

Omg. Now at my end of a 2 week trip to Germany I found this “gem”. Not busy, part of the great Steigenberger Hotel chain. And!!! Not your typical hotel food. Really! Best steak I had so far… Rumpsteak with pepper cream sauce. Order it medium rare and get surprised.

The quality of the food is not bad but does it have to be necessary to charge €21 for a Cuba Libre and €25 for a gin and tonic? This is a rip off in my opinion...

Freundlich und doch verhalten reagierte der Kellner um 21 Uhr auf meine Frage, ob ich noch etwas essen könnte, mit dem Hinweis, dass man dabei sei, das Restaurant zu schließen (die Öffnungszeit wird bis 22 Uhr angezeigt), das Lokal war an diesem Tag (Samstag) tatsächlich sehr, sehr mäßig besucht. Das bestellte Gemüse-Curry erwies sich dann als eine Portion Reis mit einer wenig inspirierten Gemüsebeilage; meine Reklamation und Enttäuschung - mir ist das Lokal von früheren Besuchen bekannt - wurde kommentarlos zur Kenntnis genommen. Schade, dass ich diese Erfahrung machen musste.

Nach einigen Jahren sind wir mit Vorfreude wieder ins Zeppelin-Stüble. Wir hatten Lust auf richtig gute schwäbische Küche. Der Tisch war im Zeppelin-Stüble für Samstag 19 Uhr reserviert, wir betraten das Stüble und uns empfing gähnende Leere. Kein Gast, kein Mitarbeiter der auf uns zukam. Nach 2 Minuten gingen wir Richtung Zeppelino's, hier wurden wir begrüßt und uns ein Tisch im Zeppelinos angeboten. Die Speisekarte wäre die Gleiche, auch im Zeppelino´s war nur ein weiterer Tisch belegt. Als wir die Speisekarte bekamen, waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Es gibt gerade mal 3 schwäbische Gerichte auf der Karte, Zwiebelrostbraten mit Spätzle und Maultasche, geschmälzte Maultaschen oder Käsespätzle. Wir hatten mehr schwäbische Spezialitäten erwartet. Steht doch auf der Homepage „Regionale Spezialitäten der schwäbischen Küche und köstliche Weine erwarten Sie im Zeppelin-Stüble“ und „Die schwäbischen Spezialitäten des Zeppelin-Stübles servieren wir ebenfalls im angeschlossenen Restaurant Zeppelino´s“. Wir bestellten Flädlesuppe und Cremesuppe von Roter Bete. Geschmacklich ok, leider waren beide Suppen nur lauwarm. Als Hauptgericht 2 x den Rostbraten und 1 x die gebratene Entenbrust. Der Zwiebelrostbraten war medium wie bestellt, aber leider recht zäh, für unseren Geschmack auch zu dick, also eher ein Steak mit Zwiebeln. Die Spätzle ordentlich, die Maultasche lag trocken als Beilage auf dem Teller und sehr wenig Soße. In einem schwäbischen Lokal erwarte ich zu einem Rostbraten auch ausreichend Soße, diese wurde auf Bitte auch nachgereicht. Die Entenbrust war Durchschnitt, die Beilage Spitzkohl hat wie Bayrisch Kraut geschmeckt und beide Gerichte Rostbraten und Ente wurden leider nicht heiß serviert. In einem schwäbischen gehobenen Restaurant erwarte ich bei den offenen Weinen auch einen Trollinger und einen Riesling von regionalen Winzern. Die Getränkepreise sind überteuert, für 0,75 l Mineralwasser 10 € und ein durchschnittlicher Lemberger 0,2 l für 14 € ist mutig. Beim Digestif gibt es Obstbrände von Schladerer, laut Karte 2 cl für 6 €. Auf der Rechnung waren 2 Schnäpse 4 cl für je 12 €. Leider habe ich diese Fehlberechnung erst Zuhause bemerkt. Auf ein Dessert haben wir verzichtet. In den 2,5 Stunden unseres Restaurantbesuches wurden gerade mal 2 weitere Tische belegt. Der Service lässt zu wünschen übrig, bis erkannt wird, dass die Weingläser leer sind, vergehen 20 Minuten. 3-mal lief ein Mitarbeiter im grauen Anzug – „modisch“ die Hosen zu kurz und das Sakko zu eng – durch das Restaurant, hat sich umgeschaut was los ist, war aber nicht in der Lage seine wenigen Gäste zu begrüßen. Fazit: Um richtig gut schwäbisch Essen zu gehen gibt es in Stuttgart viele Möglichkeiten, aber sicher nicht im Zeppelin-Stüble / Zeppelino´s.

Way to expensive and not worth it. Food tastes not good at all

Immer noch gut wie vor sieben Jahren. Aber 10€ für 0.75 Wasser und 5€ für Espresso ist wie Zuhause in der Schweiz 😅. Maultäschle aber sehr lecker und der Service super aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

It took 30 min. for them to bring us the bread… We were 3 people and we ordered a long time ago , after that 2 people came and ordered too. They had their food first and we had to wait 1 h and 20 minutes . We were starvin’. ( in the picture ) It’s good but it takes some time…

We haven't been to the Zeppelin Stüble for a long time - that was definitely a mistake. At Christmas we enjoyed the Christmas menu and were completely thrilled. The ambience and even more so the food and the extremely friendly service gave us a wonderful Christmas Day and made us aware that we definitely have to go to the Zeppelin-Stüble more often to enjoy a nice evening and delicious food. It was great - we'd love to come back!

Früher war das Essen dort recht gut, und das Lokal immer gut besucht. Nach den Lockdowns ist es leer und durchschnittlich.

Jenes äußerst schmackhaft zu verzehrende Mahl ist sehr empfehlenswert und es freut uns sagen zu können, dass wir das Establisment wieder beehren werden. Dieses Geschmackserlebniss war sehr berauschend.

Super Service, sehr nettes Personal. Total überzeugt 👍

Was soll ich sagen? Ewig warten bis Kellner kommt! Ungenügende Weinkarte! Mein Fleisch habe ich Rare bestellt - kam durch. Wurde wieder gut gemacht und hat auch dann hervorragend geschmeckt. Beilagen haben gefehlt - allerdings nur auf dem Tisch :-) auf der Rechnung waren sie zu finden! Keine Entschädigung !!! Das ist das allerschlimmste. Als Gastronom eine Katastrophe und ein Beispiel wie es nicht laufen soll. Wir kommen nicht mehr! P.s. Das Foto entstand als wir bereits 15 min zu Ende gegessen haben.

There were three of us as guests. It was a nice autumn evening. We came spontaneously, a reservation would still be worthwhile. The Swabian specialties are already known and are reinterpreted by the very high quality of the goods and the top-quality processing by the chefs. The service is 5 stars as usual. There is also a smoking area. For meat lovers there is an 800 degree hot volcanic grill area. The photo shows the dish "brown trout" which, as expected, beautified the evening. No dress code required, there are always a lot of business people to see, but also casually dressed people. The wine list is impressive. A small restaurant with lovely furnishings, lots of wood, of course, which creates a nice warm atmosphere. Highly Recommended.

Velmi prijemna, klasicka nemecka restaurace. Ale krome nemecke klasiky zde najdete i ruzna jidla svetove kuchyne, napr. asijske. Prijemny a rychly personal, jidla super!

Spitzen Service und tolle Speisen

Im Zeppelin Stüble kriegt man gutes Essen, es ist ein schönes gemütliches Lokal, die Bedingungen war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, die Preise sind eher im oberen Bereich angelegt.Die Weinempfehlung hat gut zum Essen gepasst, ich kann ein Besuch empfehlen.

Die Sachen was ich auf der Karte bestellt habe waren nett angerichtet und werden immerzu warm serviert. Gerne komme ich für meinen Teil hier mit meinen Geschäftspartnern her und kann mich darauf verlassen bravourös betreut zu werden. Das Local ist prima leicht zu erreichen! Die gute Verkehrsanbindung macht einen Essenstrip flugs machbar. Ich fand das Angebot ausgesprochen sympathisch.

Eigentlich gute Küche mit aufmerksamen Personal. Die Spare Rips und der Salat dazu waren aber viel zu scharf ohne dass die Karte das erwähnt hätte. Es wurde zur Kenntnis genommen ohne sich irgendwie um eine Entschädigung zu bemühen. Bei den sehr gehobenen Preisen doch etwas merkwürdig. Kritik unerwünscht?

Gemütlich, stilvoll, sehr freundliche Bedienung, flott, motiviert. Auserwählt gute Küche –empfehlenswert für Feiern, wie hier mit der schwäbischen Dixiland Band "Die Glutzger" und dem schwäbischen Stammtisch der Stgter Zeitung

Sehr traditioneller Ort, freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, im Sommer Möglichkeit im Freien zu sitzen, sorgfältig zubereitete Speisen, auch als allein Essende wurde ich zuvorkommend bedient

schwäbische gutbürgerliche Küche. Zwiebelrostbraten, Kässpätzle, Kalbsschnitzel. Keine 3 Sterne Gastronomie aber schmeckt trotzdem. Bedienung war sehr freundlich und wir bekamen schnell und Essen udn Trinken.
