A wonderful restaurant business for decades. Quality on my part is always good. We will meet there again and again.

Everything, simply, tastes as good as it is served! There are waiters and waitresses who simply do their job... but when you let Billy greet you and serve you... you forget the rest... he's simply a host! He doesn't control anything, is unobtrusive and is always ready to make his guests' stay more pleasant! Thanks Billy Sergio from Stuttgart

Great restaurant, very good food, large portions, great service, price performance absolutely ok. On weekdays, daily meals are even cheaper. Gladly again. Also space for family celebrations.

Price performance ratio is great. A salad with every meal is now a luxury, especially from the salad buffet. Absolutely great. You will definitely see us there more often.

Today we had lunch with five people in the restaurant “Zur alten Ziegelei”. We were lucky to get a table as our reservation was forgotten. The cuisine and salad selection were really perfect and met our expectations. Unfortunately the waiter for table 26 was anything but friendly. He seemed unmotivated, inattentive and in a bad mood, which spoiled our stay. It was a shame that when we cleared the table he didn't show any interest in whether we liked the food. Despite the excellent food, we're not sure we'll be back. If so, we would make sure we didn't sit in his service area - everyone else was very friendly.

Heute haben wir im Restaurant "Zur alten Ziegelei" mit fünf Personen zu Mittag gegessen. Wir hatten Glück, einen Tisch zu bekommen, da unsere Reservierung vergessen wurde. Die Küche und die Salatauswahl waren wirklich perfekt und haben unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Leider war der Kellner für Tisch 26 alles andere als freundlich. Er wirkte unmotiviert, unaufmerksam und schlecht gelaunt, was unseren Aufenthalt trübte. Es war schade, dass er beim Abräumen des Tisches kein Interesse zeigte, ob uns das Essen geschmeckt hat. Trotz des ausgezeichneten Essens sind wir uns nicht sicher, ob wir wiederkommen werden. Wenn, dann würden wir darauf achten, dass wir nicht in seinem Servicebereich sitzen – alle anderen waren sehr freundlich.

A very nice atmosphere, large beer garden. Quaint restaurant. Salad buffet is well stocked and the potato salad... like at home. The staff was very friendly, the food came quickly and tasted excellent. The prices are absolutely fair. There are enough parking spaces available and are for free.

Restaurant is really great, price performance is ok, the food is good and plentiful, the place is very cozy, only the waiter is incompetent, he served us the drinks but he didn't accept the order for the food for a long time. I had a fruit schnapps after the meal ordered the one he suggested but then couldn't deliver because he didn't have any left. He then offered me other drinks that I couldn't accept due to health problems. I wanted to forego the fruit schnapps but said he had already booked it and couldn't take it back I should take something else? What's that supposed to mean .

I celebrated my big birthday with 35 friends in Münster. I have NEVER experienced such incredibly good service!!! First of all, I have to emphasize that on this Saturday the restaurant was full to the roof, beer garden - adjoining room = everything was full! We all chose à la carte and our food came completely at the same time! 35 different foods and we all ate together! The food came immediately after ordering, unbelievable how quickly. The meat was fried to perfection on every plate, the food was all fresh and really first-class, the salad from the buffet was excellent! I have to and want to highlight the staff, so friendly, attentive, quick and simply FIRST CLASS! We were all absolutely thrilled. Not a glass was left empty, very attentive and despite all the stress and a lot of work, there was still time for a little fun in between. I visited what felt like 25 restaurants in advance to find a suitable location for my birthday. When I had the first interview in Münster, I knew immediately that I wanted to celebrate here. I immediately had the feeling that the motto here was: “Where guests become friends” is not just a slogan, but you are truly welcome here. I really thank the whole team because my birthday couldn't have been better or more beautiful!!! Many of my guests will now come to you and I will also be one of your new friends in the future. Das Lokal kann an für sich empfohlen werden. Der einzige der dort alles vermiest ist ein Hr. R….m. Am besten wenn er bedient,sich umsetzen. Der Rest der Crew ob Küchenpersonal oder Service alle sehr freundlich und setzen alle Hebel in Bewegung um fast alles zu ermöglichen. Leider fällt dieser Person aus dem Rahmen.

I was there today for my birthday.Unfortunately there is only a discount for the birthday child from 7 adults.We waited an hour for food.I wasn't hungry anymore.It took forever.Unfortunately I didn't like the food at all.French fries without salt and the spaetzle was so soggy.really unseasoned.waited for an hour

We went there for dinner every three days of Christmas. As always we were not disappointed. Price/performance harmonious.

If the kitchen isn't significantly cleaner than the tables and toilet, then good night. Food is loveless and run of the mill, service is not very motivated and the atmosphere is like in a bad canteen.

Eat. Like it comes off the assembly line, the roast is often ordered medium rare and is served well done. The sauces from the bucket always taste the same. Ready-made roast jus from Knorr. Salad buffet is great. The potato salad, depending on the mood and who makes it, leaves a lot to be desired. The staff, unless you catch a particular barf from the waiter, is top and friendly. We would like to give special praise to the funny fuzzy-headed waiter and a lady who is always ready to find a solution or conjure up a table at peak times. Both very nice and always have a funny saying. The staff often has more say than the owner, which is why we are separating from the old brickworks and going to the competition.

Was there for lunch today with a colleague. Was great again. Had roast onion with fries. Was delicious. The whole thing for 16.90... plus salad and soup from the buffet. Price-performance. The rest was also great... so there was enough parking space. Seats too. Order and deliver quickly. Top!!!! The only thing you can suggest for improvement is that the waitresses are very cold and unemotional and seem sad when working. A little kindness every now and then, a few kind words / a hard smile wouldn't hurt ;-)

Yesterday I was with the whole family and after ordering, the food we wanted came. Unfortunately after the first piece of meat and also with 2 other guests I had a strange aftertaste and then I told the waitress. She tried the meat from every plate in front of us which is really not common. We tried to explain this to the lady and it was really very rude and you could hardly get a word in edgewise. Then another waiter came who is also supposedly the manager and handled the situation really well. The cook didn't show up. It's a shame it turned out that way, we were happy to go!!! Waitress absolutely not professional. We would like to thank the managing director.

Very nice staff. Food is OK. In Leuder, everything in the toilets in the basement was sticky, including the handrail. More attention should be paid to hygiene here.

We come from the Black Forest where there are definitely great restaurants. But we were directed here because we were visiting. This restaurant is awesome, super delicious food, something for everyone. Free soups or salads with every meal. The guest is still king. Thank you very much.

Celebrated my 70th just great, there was no complaining and the price surprised me - I was expecting a much higher bill.

The food was very good. The salad in the salad bar was nothing special. The service was very friendly. The drinks were so-so, when I offer a passion fruit juice I don't expect to get a fizzy passion fruit flavored lemonade. The room was quite loud in the hut, so conversations had to be louder.

The dishes were freshly prepared and tasted very tasty. There was salad from a salad bar that you get yourself. There are always special days for certain dishes there. So customer friendly. You can eat in the dining room or on the terrace.

The food was really tasty with a salad buffet and there are some promotions on several days! There is also a playground on site.

All I can say is 100%, I can only recommend this restaurant... It's best to order in advance.

Were there on Whit Monday and took a walk through the park. The museum was closed. We sunbathed in the rose garden. It was a lovely day.

Nice restaurant with good home-style cuisine with something for everyone. We've already eaten there with various groups and I haven't heard anything negative from anyone. Even when it was a little busier, the staff always had an eye and ear for the guests. I always come back and can recommend the Alte Ziegele without hesitation.

Best German restaurant in the area. Always happy to come back. The prices and quality you get here are unbeatable. We always feel comfortable and always go home very satisfied.

Were there on Mother's Day, really full, which speaks for freshness and quality, salad bar top, clean, food beautifully prepared. Of course it can happen that you wait a little longer or that a dish is no longer there, but the food is really tasty and the selection is varied and you can always find something. Service helpful and friendly. Surely again.

I have never eaten such delicious bread dumplings!!!!!! The champions in herb sauce were also great, as was the salad buffet!!!!!

We also enjoy being guests at the brickworks. Prices are affordable even for those on a small budget. The only thing I would like is that the offer for the coming month could be read for two or three days. We always enjoy coming back.

We were here for confirmation. Food was tasty and prepared quickly. Since there were many confirmations that day, it was very crowded and loud. But otherwise a very nice restaurant.

The roast beef was very tender, soft, juicy, without being fatty, the gravy was well seasoned, had a wonderful taste and the spaetzle was awesome! This place is probably a good getaway for people with a tighter budget and low demands on both cuisine and service. The reason for the visit was the birthday of the father-in-law, who chose this location. We ordered 1 large bottle of medium mineral water, 1 cola and a small glass of mineral water. This order went well and the quality of the drinks was good, that's why we get the first star, the second star is for the neat ambience and cleanliness of the location. The food we ordered was 2x fries, 2 meat dishes and 2x vegan Maultaschen. One of the two meat dishes was half edible. Feedback was: it wasn't that great now, order something to eat later. The second meat dish was OK. No feedback received... The vegan Maultaschen, which were not otherwise stated on the menu, came with a cream sauce. As a former meat eater and trained chef, I say, absolute cheek. If it says vegan on the menu, it should also say vegan. So we let the food go back. My wife, a trained restaurant specialist, said to me whether the waiter had asked me whether we wanted something different or whether he could do something. I had to answer this question with no. This seems to be a far cry from good service. So we got the same dish again without sauce. Great, I'm looking forward to Maultaschen with grilled vegetables. But I thought, then you have to at least try them once. Conclusion Maultaschen: apart from parsley and a hint of pasta dough there was nothing to taste. Please, please, dear owners, just treat your chef to a book from this area. You become so much more creative and all of this with very little use of goods, little work and, above all, you can combine most things very well as a side dish or filling side dish. Meat eaters don't ask whether there's Parmesan in the pesto for the pasta and they also don't ask whether there's bacon in the Maultaschen. There are natural alternatives for almost everything. Without replacement products and very simple. If I can be of assistance, please feel free to contact me. Conclusion: we won't be visiting this location again for the time being, but we are confident that there will be reasonable offers in the future.

Often go there during business hours at lunchtime. Always well stocked and our favorite for years. Very tasty and inexpensive food.

The food is standard cuisine and is more geared towards older people. The memory card is also very heavy. As far as the service is concerned, the lady was very annoying as she asked every 5 minutes if everything was okay For me there is solid standard food there, but nothing more.

There is a buffet area for salads that you can serve yourself. For group meals, you will be given a pot of soup to ladle by yourself. The potatoes in the main meal are too big and taste dry, but the meat is not bad. The chocolate sauce in the dessert is too sweet and needs to be added a little. Beer goes just right with dessert.

We had such an unfriendly waiter. Hardly a friendly word or greeting makes you feel comfortable in your surroundings. Waiter Mr. R. Cashes in without saying the amount but just hisses the card please! They then said that they wanted to know the amount first and that this would be done in a more friendly way... then he showed the amount on his device, but you can do something like that straight away. well, all in all, the waiters there don't seem to make the friendliest impression... maybe the reviews here are taken seriously and they're working a little on their effect on the guest..

A disgrace if you want breaded poultry or veal schnitzel upon request, which is naturally available on the menu. And the kitchen isn't capable of breading something like that itself. Testifies to a range of finished products also called convenience per excellence. Sad. I can also get a frozen schnitzel from a discount store and make it at home. I don't have to go out to eat there. And in an old Stuttgart restaurant like Akte Ziegelei, I expected to get freshly breaded schnitzel and also poultry or veal!

Really nice schwaebisch restaurant for a company. They've got schwaebisch salad bar included in meal and special offers evenings Tuesday to Friday, so that the reciept per person will be under 20 eur for evening meal and big drink.

Brilliant place! Food is always super delicious! The price-performance ratio cannot be beaten and "man" really gets full, which is super important. Great kids and dog friendly. I didn't know about this place for a long time because it's a bit hidden. But it's always full... no wonder word gets around. Absolute recommendation

Great dishes and the guest gets a very standard salad bar as well as starter soups. What really stands out are the freshly fried onions, for example, where all the guest's wishes are read and fulfilled. Really super pleasant, friendly service. I've been a guest there for years and have never been disappointed. Were here again today, February 14th, 2024 after Corona, and everything is as before: friendly staff, great tasting food, like the special request, extra steamed onions. The toilets are very clean, which usually says a lot about the location.

Delicious veal schnitzel and beer 🍺 at acceptable prices

Absolutely good. 4 people, 4 meals, everyone loved it. We were served by Chris, incredibly friendly and in a good mood, always there without being intrusive, special requests were easily fulfilled. The food was perfect, the place was comfortable, the price-performance ratio and service were just right here. The anticipation of a cozy evening was exceeded by the great food and great service. The choice of dressing harmonizes perfectly with the fresh ingredients. The main courses are carefully prepared, with attention to detail and taste simply heavenly. The spices are perfectly balanced so that every bite is a little feast for the taste buds. The portions are generous, and yet you don't feel overloaded after eating, but rather pleasantly full. The restaurant manages to find a balance between fine cuisine and a feel-good atmosphere. It's a place you'll want to return to, not just for the food but for the entire experience.
