The food was very good 👍 Most of it was homemade. The service was very friendly, I highly recommend it.

Caution! Very bad rip-off/deliberate fraud salad in advance; cplt. from the jar + ready-made salad dressing Kässpätzle: indefinable mush (heard in advance from the microwave oven) Simplest cheese on top. Completely returned; with the answer: We have been selling like this for 40 years. Not a word as an apology. It got even bolder: For the Sägebockpfännle with the Knorr cream sauce: ready-made spaetzle, sold as homemade. Completely EVERYTHING calculated/s. Picture Never experienced anything like this before.

The worst restaurant, worst food, worst service in my life I had in this restaurant We arrive at this restaurant in the afternoon after a day at the park, we sit outside and the lady brings us the menu, we order a drink, a beer and two johanesschorles, one small and one large, the lady brings us 2 large ones (1 mistake) and arrogantly says she heard 2 large ones (then put on hearing aids lady!) We order food, calamari (6 ridiculous fried calamari), chicken and chips, the calamari were disgusting they were dry and rubbery, the tzatziki sauce smelled shockingly rotten, and even though I had pointed this out to the lady, she came out saying that it was fresh and that it had been prepared in the morning (I don't know but ma'am you need to stop taking hallucinogens because this sauce was anything but fresh IT WAS ROTTEN!) Despite this they didn't bring us another one because it was finished, ahahaha ridiculous, they say they made it first fresh in the morning now it's no longer there! Liars. The chicken in the oven with pineapple cheese and who knows what still inside was terrible, with a decidedly terrible taste and served in an even more appalling way, thrown on the plate like for dogs when you open a dose and crush it in the bowl, the chips and salad were old, soft potatoes, soggy salad and with a sugary sauce, terrible. The food was so disgusting that I can't understand how these people can still stay open and serve food to other customers, we need to send a VKD inspection and make them close forever! The drinks were also not good, the johanesschorle had a sedentary taste as if they had been open for a long time, and the beer ditto with this mixed gas tasted of very little, and even though we had pointed out everything the waitress with an absurd arrogance came up with some shocking answers to say the least, I ADVISE EVERYONE WHO PASSES NEAR THIS PLACE, BETTER YOU GET ON! AND FOR YOUR HEALTH! Price 41.60 euros for having eaten nothing, non-existent and terrible service, grumpy, rude and blind owner too. ZUM SÄGBOCK IS THE WORST RESTAURANT I HAVE VISITED SO FAR. Let's hope it closes its doors soon!

Regional German cuisine with the best side salad. I recommend the liver with delicious mashed potatoes and apple. This is only available on Thursdays and requires advance reservation.

Beautiful restaurant, reminiscent of the 70s and 80s. Delicious food and one of the few restaurants still serving good German food. Mixed salad that deserves its name. Fresh and something for everyone. Unfortunately, the kitchen closes a little early. Overall, highly recommended. And the ambiance is worth seeing. Dogs are very welcome.

Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The meat wasn't cooked well! The sauce could have been colored water. The soup came from the microwave!

So I don't know how such comments come about here, I think many people don't know what quality means. Don't know where to start. Waiter served in a dress that looked like pajamas and listless, no smile, no service. The food is at the lowest level, the portions are ok for the price, but the taste is a disaster. The food tastes like nothing, deep fryer schnitzel with unsalted fries and a sauce that is only bursting with glutamate, freshly prepared very far away locally, just like the employees, they were well into the 80s. The sauce is so thin you can read it through the newspaper. I can only ask every restaurateur not to pour the sauce on the plate in order not to drown the pasta or the meat, please provide the sauce separately. Seasoning the meat shouldn't be missing either and I also had to look for the salt on the fries. If you have no idea how to run a restaurant, please close or get help. The ambience is getting old, needs to be renovated and generally outdated. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

Einfache, ehrliche schwäbische Küche

Bin aus Mosbach und daher auch öfters dort zum Essen. Essen war bisher immer sehr gut. Haben nie lange warten müssen und auch das Personal ist sehr nett. Und für die Menge an Essen die man bekommt sind die Preise sehr gut. Sollte man in Mosbach sein kann man dies nur sehr empfehlen.

Zum Sitzen gemütlich, zum was trinken ok, essen stark verbesserungswürdig. Alles sehr salzig. Der Service war noch ausbaufähig.

Waren heute Mittag zum Essen. War prima. Sehr nette Wirtin.
