Leckeres Frühstück und köstliche warme Gerichte! Die Speisenauswahl ist vielfältig und die Cocktails sind ebenfalls sehr lecker. Das Restaurant ist gut gelegen, das Ambiente gemütlich und stilvoll. Insgesamt ein Ort, den ich gerne weiterempfehle.

Hervorragendes Essen, zu fairen Preisen und ein sehr aufmerksamer Service. Dazu kommt ein sehr schöner Innenhof. Hier fühlt man sich wohl!

Das Essen war wunderbar, einfach köstlich. Die Portionen waren zwar klein, aber wir waren trotzdem satt. Es gab auch eine größere Portion, aber die kleine reichte uns völlig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Essen wurde schnell zubereitet. Man kann auf der Terrasse, in der Mitte des Restaurants oder in einem kleinen Innenhof sitzen.

Wir kommen unheimlich gern. Das Essen und die Getränke sind unheimlich lecker. Personal mega freundlich.

Ich habe nichts gegessen, nur getrunken, daher kann ich das Essen nicht beurteilen. Der Aperol war allerdings sehr dünn eingeschenkt und dazu mit Eis aufgefüllt. Bedienung war allerdings außerordentlich freundlich. Abends sehr voll, da Mosbach insgesamt nur wenig Gastronomie zu bieten hat.

Wir waren angenehm überrascht- das Essen war toll, die Getränke lecker und der Service freundlich und auf Zack. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Ich träume jetzt noch vom perfekt gegarten Rumpsteak mit seinen tollen Beilagen!

Modern und dezent eingerichtet, die Mitarbeiter super freundlich und aufmerksam, dabei aber überhaupt nicht aufdringlich, das Essen wirklich sehr lecker. Kleine aber sehr feine Speisekarte, auf der wirklich für jeden etwas dabei ist.

Wir waren 7 Personen und alle haben was verschiedenes bestellt. Nach nicht mal 20 Minuten kamen alle Essen auf einmal. Einfach großartig. Tolles Servicepersonal, dass man woanders vergeblich sucht. Alle Speisen schmeckten prima und es gab nichts auszusetzen.

An sich ein super Restaurant mit Bar. Mit das beste was die Mosbacher Altstadt noch zu bieten hat mit guten Öffnungszeiten. Als ich zuletzt da war, saßen wir allerdings 45 Minuten, wurden nicht bedient und sind dann gegangen. Das sollte so natürlich nicht vorkommen, auch wenn das Restaurant voll war und wir deshalb im beheizten Außenbereich saßen

Tolles, modernes Café und Restaurant mit einem schönen Barbereich. Freundlicher Service und hervorragendes Essen.

A very nice restaurant with exceptionally friendly service. Our reserved table was available immediately. They always made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, especially the pumpkin soup.

The beer from Weinert is a must.

As always, the food was excellent. It was busy, so we forgot something twice, and once they even apologized for the long wait. We really enjoy going to Ludwig, especially when you want fine dining at reasonable prices. The drinks menu is also impressive, and overall, the Ludwig restaurant and bar are the best combination possible.

We stopped by for dinner today, spontaneously, without a reservation, and were delighted by the friendliness of the staff and the food. It's great to have such a great restaurant in Mosbach.

Food special, but quite little, for me rather modern to uncomfortable ambience, service friendly and courteous

Unfortunately, we couldn't find the allergen list online. Nor were they listed on the printed menu in the restaurant. Upon request, we were given a separate excerpt from the menu. Unfortunately, it wasn't complete. Unfortunately, for those who want or need to avoid wheat and gluten, there's nothing on offer other than salad and a plain schnitzel. A shame for such a renowned restaurant. The service was very friendly and accommodating.

I highly recommend the Sunday breakfast here. The food is also very good in the evening. The staff is very friendly, and the prices are right. It's also perfect for people who just want to go out for a drink. The cocktails and long drinks are well-mixed and, above all, affordable.

Good for a quick drink. The afternoon menu is very concise. Service was slow for too long, and the ambiance outside, with its wobbly plastic tables, takes some getting used to.

We're seated at a table for dinner and wait 15 minutes until someone comes: "Sorry, the kitchen's been closed for 5 minutes." The manager: "That's your problem, you must understand—we've been sooo busy today!" No, it's not our problem! Our problem was getting something elsewhere. That was the last time! I recommend Restaurant Amtsstüble—the food is always top-notch, and if you've gotten a table there for dinner, there's always been something to eat.

Sonntags zum Mittagessen. Das Restaurant maximal zur Hälfte belegt, ausreichend Bedienungen. Aufnahme der Bestellung ging schnell. Dann hieß es für einen Wechsel der Beilagen (Pommes statt Spätzle, beides auf der Karte) EUR 1.-- Aufpreis. Warum? Die Gerichte wurden nicht tischweise serviert sondern je nach Gericht fertiggestellt, so dass man nicht zusammen essen konnte. Die Schweinemedaillons kamen dann doch mit Spätzle statt wie bestellt mit Pommes. Kann passieren, wurde korrigiert. Aber die Portion Pommes, die dann serviert wurde, waren die kümmerlichen Reste aus dem Frittenkorb. Menge und Qualität gehen gar nicht. Alles in allem eine schöne Atmosphäre wenn man draußen sitzt, aber Anspruch und Wirklichkeit gehen auseinander, zumal die Preise relativ hoch sind. Schade.

Good cafe, very fast and friendly service

Wir haben das Ludwig 2 Mal besucht, 2 mal die Gemüse Curry Bowl, einmal Spargel und den Pulled Beef Burger. Die Präsentation und die Qualität der Gerichte war sehr ansprechend und sehr gut. Eine gute Erinnerung an unseren Urlaub am Neckar.

Delicious ice cream with large portions

Nicely decorated, but very noisy when the store is full. There is a good selection of vegan dishes. The high prices didn't scare me that much at first, I had the recommendation that it was very good there and the prices were reasonable. I can't confirm that. I had the vegan burger with fries instead of the sweet potato fries. Supposedly in a pretzel bun homemade, it was a pretzel bun and if homemade means homemade, then that part was true. The bean meatball was tasty, but you didn't really taste any of the sauces. The side salad was very very small and was drowned in dressing. All in all, it wasn't even remotely worth the €17.80. Then came my dessert, strawberry tiramisu for €8.80. It had nothing to do with a tiramisu, it was an espresso cream with strawberry puree on top. The portion was ridiculously small, it felt like a tablespoon of cream and puree for €8.80, a disgrace. I get a portion like this for free after my meal at my regular restaurant. If you like whiskey sour, it's on the menu, but you can't get it. I would describe what you get as whiskey orange. Unfortunately it was very disappointing and not worth recommending. I'd rather go to the BK.

The service is top. The food used to be better. Had a vegan burger, it was ok, it could have been more seasoned, but I found the price performance questionable. Cocktail prices were top category. I would come here more often if the prices were more humane.

Frühstück ist nicht zu empfehlen, 2 kleine Aufbackbrötchen waren dabei. Satt wird man davon nicht. Grosser Cappuccino war lauwarm. Eigentlich schade.

Great, convincing and modern gastronomy concept. The furnishings, ambience, menu and type of presentation are absolutely top, fresh with their own touch. Even the burger is not prepared with the classic, boring soggy bun, but with a pretzel bun - a very creative chef who knows exactly what he is doing. Service was super friendly. Price/performance very reasonable. We were thrilled...

We spontaneously went to Ludwig for the first time on Boxing Day with a stroller and without a reservation. Even though it was full, we were welcome and were given a corner at the bar and then a small table. The service staff were so nice, quick and fond of children and the food was fantastic! We'll definitely be back!

I ordered 1/2 portion of cheese spaetzle. I received a full plate of cheese spaetzle and they insisted that this was 1/2 portion. I wondered how full the plate would look with a normal portion. I let everything go back because I had a mountain of food that was completely lost on me. There was no explanation, no apology and certainly no question if I wanted to order something else.

When we are in Mosbach, we always go to Ludwig. And this has been the case for tens of years. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food is good and varied. The price is also ok.

Es war ganz schlimm.. die Bedienung (Doris) war extrem gestresst und super unfreundlich. Sehr sehr pampig.. Das Essen wurde kalt serviert und mal geschwind in die Micro geschoben.. die Qualität lässt auch zu wünschen übrig.. kein gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Hatten uns einen gemütlichen Mittagessen vorgestellt.. muss ich mir nicht mehr antun.

Sometimes very loud when it is busy

The restaurant offers very good quality and fresh dishes. The selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes is also exceptionally good. The staff is very friendly and offers good service. What has been annoying me/us for at least a year now is the fact that it is not possible to pay reliably with EC card(s). The cards are technically sound and work without any problems at all times. Except in Ludwig. Then you sit there as a guest and don't feel particularly good when one reader after the other doesn't work and at the neighboring tables there is a certain interest in the outcome of the matter. So, never go to Ludwig without cash. It is a shame that this problem cannot be solved in Ludwig. Incomprehensible in today's digital world. Therefore a star deduction.

Simply great, good food, great cocktails, and friendly staff.

Here I enthusiastically ordered a Black Angus burger with a pretzel bun. I got a pretzel roll (like at the bakery) with a beef patty that was unfortunately grilled to death. It's a shame, because the bun would have been ok, but with Black Angus meat I would have expected it to be at least medium fried. Doneness wasn't asked, so I guess the chef can't do it any other way. I've eaten it much more deliciously elsewhere. Ambiance was ok, even if the restaurant was full of groups of women gossiping. But the restaurant can't help it. The service was attentive, friendly and quick. It could have been perfect if the chef knew his trade at least when it came to burgers. Maybe take the dish off the menu? Schnitzel at the next table looked okay.

On the way to visit Waldstetten we stopped in Mosbach and looked at the beautiful old town. At lunchtime we happened to come to the Ludwig restaurant and it was a real stroke of luck! Cozy atmosphere, totally friendly yet natural staff and the food was really tasty too! And all at a good price. The beer garden is certainly very cozy in summer. Unfortunately it was too cold for that today. If we're in Mosbach again, we'll definitely be happy to eat here again.

We recently spent a wonderful evening at Ludwig and were thoroughly impressed. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly welcomed and shown to a comfortable table. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed family meal. Particularly noteworthy is the freshness of the ingredients and the attention to detail that was evident in every dish. The service was attentive, friendly and always available without being intrusive. The toilets were also super clean and tidy. All in all, we had a very nice evening at Ludwig and can recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place with excellent cuisine.

We have been looking for a restaurant for a long time that would satisfy both me as a meat eater and my wife as a vegetarian. The menu offers a wide selection for both of us. After a short wait, both meals were served hot. Everything tasted okay. What should be emphasized is the friendliness of the service staff. We had the feeling that everyone enjoyed their job and that guests were welcomed here. Pets are also welcome and a “dog bar” is available. We will be back definitely!

I ate spaghetti with a lemon sauce. Unfortunately the sauce tasted more like a curry sauce. That was a real shame. Unfortunately there was no compensation! 😢 So unfortunately absolutely NOT recommended.

Sehr unzufrieden. hatten Tagliatti mit Pfifferlingen. Dekor war gut, geschmacklich fad und 5 kl. Pfifferlinge def. Zu wenig.Auch war das Essen nicht heiss, nur lauwarm. Die Lemon Nudeln schmeckten wie Curry und nicht nach Lenon. Hatten es reklamiert, ausser es tut mir leid kam nichts. Nicht mal ein Preisreduktuon, obwohl lt Kellnerin dieses Essen schon mehrmals reklamiert wurde.

Nice restaurant, in Mosbach in the city center. Nice service. I ate a jackfruit burger. It tasted like a meatball. I really didn't notice that the burger was vegan, but I think the prices were a bit exaggerated. Otherwise nice.

Very good food, very good service

Super tasty and very attractively prepared breakfast for two. The service is perfect, requests are responded to in a friendly manner and the ambience in the courtyard exudes a southern atmosphere. We were here for the first time today, but we will definitely come back.

A spontaneous visit less than 10 minutes before the end of official kitchen hours ended with an absolutely satisfied stomach, great joy and enthusiasm, once again, for LUDWIG! Unkindly rejected elsewhere - not everywhere you feel like having guests late at night - at LUDWIG you will find smiling service staff who give you the authentic feeling of being really welcome. The salad with wild herbs and beetroot falafel is highly recommended, be careful with the cocktails - the boys know how to mix things, it can be quite deliciously dizzying. XD Thank you for another wonderful evening at LUDWIG!

Arrived at 8:56 p.m., and the extremely friendly staff confirmed kitchen activities, even though they were only advertised until 9 p.m. - we were extremely pleased and immediately felt welcome. The extremely friendly, courteous and well-trained staff at Ludwig are just as pleasing as the quality of the food and drinks. We would be happy to come back here and are pleased that there is still professionalism in the customer that is being practiced. Thank you very much!
