Delicious food, great selection! Fast and very good! The beer was also tasty.

It's a bit noisy. Poor soundproofing. Sorry. Otherwise very nice.

Overall, I was very satisfied! The only suggestion I would have for improvement is to change the acoustics, as they are distracting during conversations.

Every restaurant deserves a second chance, but since I was served the wrong food again on my second visit and the beer tasted flat, I won't be going back. The food didn't impress me at all. Knowing how difficult it is to find affordable staff, I can overlook the fact that I had to place additional orders multiple times or even take care of them myself at the bar. The atmosphere is pleasant, the glasses and other items are clean, and there's ample parking.

The Mosbach brewery impressed us with its delicious food in large, tasty portions. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance contributed to a pleasant visit. The prices were very reasonable. We would definitely come back.

The review is quite mixed. The goose with side dishes was very tasty, and the price-performance ratio was okay. The Mälzerpfanne (a type of pan-fried dish) was good in terms of the meat... but the Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) were a complete disaster. Baked in the pan, the cheese (what was in it) was absolutely tasteless (instead of a strong mountain cheese or something similar) and had a strangely creamy consistency, which, upon inquiry, turned out to be cream (in Käsespätzle???). It was served with cold fried onions and presumably pre-made spaetzle. For both Swabians and people from the Allgäu region, these were the worst spaetzle we've had in a long time. The service itself was good and friendly. When we ordered a schnapps and espresso to aid digestion, the schnapps was unavailable, and the coffee machine had already been switched off half an hour before closing time. Sorry, but the service was unacceptable. The overall rating of the meal is an average of the goose and the spaetzle. We might try the schnitzel sometime, well before closing time.

The roast goose breast was delicious, the red cabbage was excellent, but the dumplings were very small and quite firm. The service was outstanding, and the red wine was superb.

We wanted to reserve a table for four people for Boxing Day. However, instead of taking a reservation, I was told that this would be handled separately and that I should call a certain number. Instead of telling me who to call and which number to use, I was simply told, "I have to move on now." Dear Brauhaus team, I believe that even if time is of the essence, this kind of service is unacceptable. Thanks for nothing, and we'll eat elsewhere.

The food was good and plentiful. The service was simply superb. But...we were sitting in the beer garden with a larger group. After about two hours, most people couldn't sit any longer. The chairs in the conservatory are a real imposition if you want to enjoy a leisurely meal and then have a beer afterward.

The food was perfectly fine, but the steak was rare instead of medium. The prices, as well as the quantity, are absolutely reasonable.

We were thrilled and would gladly come back. Highly recommended: the Bierkutscherschnitzel 👍🏼 wonderfully rustic, and the fried potatoes were very, very good.👍🏼

We went there for dinner yesterday. The menu is good, home-style fare and absolutely sufficient. We were both satisfied with the taste, although the portions could be a bit larger for a man. We'd be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, the food tasted like it was from a cafeteria. I had a spit roast that was completely dry and possibly from the day before (at least it tasted that way).

We were there with a large group and were seated at several tables in a relatively small room. The service was friendly, prompt, and the restaurant was also busy. The food arrived relatively quickly, and the wait was perfectly bearable and reasonable given the number of customers in the restaurant. The rump steak was served to the requested degree of doneness, was tasty and not dry, and the fries were crispy. Our request for ketchup was quickly fulfilled. The rösti was tasty, slightly greasy. It was very crispy around the edges. Two were brought to our table. One was a generous portion, the other was very thin and lacking in quantity. The cream sauce tasted okay, but it was a bit thin. The salad was good. In addition to leaf salad, there was also cucumber, coleslaw, and carrot salad. Restrooms were clean. Prices were reasonable for the food received.

We've never had such friendly and courteous service. Thank you again for the superb service; you don't get that everywhere.

Tasted great, except for the fried potatoes, which were a bit undercooked. The staff is always friendly. Until today, they didn't say hello and just left the menu on the table and walked away. I found that very odd. The atmosphere is quiet and well located. Everything is sour except for the trees outside, which overlook the terrace, and sometimes leaves or animals fall onto the table. But overall, it's great.

Typical country brewery with extensive menu and in-house brewery

We were at Hornberg Castle, in the crystal shop below the castle, and had made a reservation for later at the brewery. The beer garden is beautifully situated under large trees, where our table was reserved. Since we would have liked some more sun, we asked the waiter for another table, but he said no, that corner was closed due to a lack of staff. So we sat at "our" table. We sat for about 10 minutes, while other guests were allowed to sit in our preferred corner...that left a bad taste in our mouths. The drinks came quickly, and the food didn't take long either...it tasted very good. Although I wanted the salad first, it came with the meal, but I could live with that. The atmosphere was also cozy, except that the waiters were all rather stiff and unsmiling. When we paid, there was one beer too many on the bill, and the waitress couldn't understand why we didn't have it (the neighboring table had several of the same...perhaps they had the wrong bill). She asked again, but all three of us said that wasn't right. After taking the checkout, she turned around and left...without a thank you...without a goodbye. So: Ambience = really great Food = pretty good Service = really awful

Beautiful beer garden. We went there for dinner in the heat and were able to sit comfortably under the trees. The service staff were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Drinks and food arrived promptly...we'll definitely be back.

If you go out to eat in Mosbach, go to the Brauhaus! Really delicious food with home-brewed beer. The ice cream is also worth mentioning. Two small points to note: on some days, they only have a reduced menu (when it's "too busy"). The service is very helpful, but visibly overwhelmed. Always. Therefore, you have to expect that something will be forgotten or that your order will arrive incorrectly. It's better not to make special requests—they just cause confusion. Conclusion: Our favorite family restaurant for a long time. P.S. Oh yes, as always, there are smokers outside who don't show any consideration for anyone. :( Very sleepy service, no idea what happened. We had to wait a very long time without anyone taking our orders. I had to run to the cash register myself and wake a waitress from her sleep. The food arrived incomplete and without cutlery. What's going on here? Cost-cutting measures? Lack of motivation? Not interested in guests? Absolutely unfriendly and disinterested.

A definite recommendation! I was able to order our takeaway food shortly before the arrival of 200 guests, so we could eat at the nearby airport. The owner of the brewery—best regards—personally attended to my needs, and we were even able to borrow cutlery, which, of course, found its way back. We were very happy with everything! Hopefully, see you soon.

When we arrived, there was only one waiter working. Ordering took a while, and at first, only drinks. Then we could order food. The wait was about 30 minutes, and the food was good. As a vegetarian, I ordered the shandy, which was average. There are a few vegetarian options, but not too many, and not to everyone's taste. Overall, we were satisfied and full. Highly recommended!

A cozy beer garden not far from the Old Town, it opens at 11 a.m. and seems to be well-frequented by locals around lunchtime. The staff is attentive, quick, and friendly. The dark beer was quite tasty, and if you're a little peckish, the Hungarian goulash soup (with delicious bread) was simply perfect.

We went there with friends on their recommendation, and the first impression was impressive, with its charming outdoor beer garden and classic brewery atmosphere. The waitress arrived at our table very quickly and was very attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The food we ordered arrived just as quickly, along with the drinks. Specials like XXL Schnitzel on Monday and Spare Ribs on Tuesday rounded out the good selection on the modest menu. The food was truly delicious. All in all, a successful visit. On our next visit, we'll be happy to try the in-house beer selection and the beer garden when the weather is warmer! Highly recommended!

This was our first time here, we really enjoyed it, and we'll be back. The ambiance is nice, the service is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. The menu has something for every taste. There's also plenty for vegetarians. The three-beer tasting set is highly recommended. There's plenty of seating, with large rooms on the upper floor ideal for parties. The restrooms are very clean. All in all, a very nice place.

There is no comparison to the “real” breweries in Bavaria. We had e.g. Ordered Rösti in Champion cream sauce, the Rösti was homemade (which isn't rocket science), but was in the cream sauce, i.e. just mushy instead of crispy. The size is rather small, a hungry guest would not have been full. Prices too high for the portions! Good portions are served in the typical brewery! The dish with Schupfnudeln (Radler Teller?) was also quite small and totally overpriced for ready-made Schupfnudeln and frozen vegetables etc. Service was ok. Wouldn't visit this brewery again...

Reserved at short notice on Easter Monday and got a very nice place. The service was very friendly and motivated - it was really remarkable that the young team served the guests so committedly and attentively. The food was plentiful and we all enjoyed it very much.
