Das Restaurant Krone-Diedesheim ist sehr gut, alles ist sehr optimal, Essen, Personal, Preise,Service und Ambiente.

Schnell mal was essen ist hier nicht. Bedienung ist selektiv, unkoordiniert und unterbesetzt. Mehr als eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet und das zu einer typischen essenszeit was also vorhersehbar ist dass viel los sein wird. Schlechtes Management.

Ein sehr schöner Biergarten und tolle Lage. Unsere Besuche waren bisher immer ein bisschen gemischt. Gestern mussten wir dann leider an die 2h auf unsere bestellten Schnitzel warten - was dann doch ein bisschen extrem war. Dabei waren die Schnitzel auch sehr dünn geklopft. Auch wenn laut Bedienung viel im Biergarten los war, war das unverhältnismäßig. Besonders da Gäste, die wesentlich später kamen, mit dem Essen schon fertig waren bevor wir unseres serviert bekamen.

Positiv war wir haben spontan einen Platz bekommen. Negativ war das Essen wurde zu lange gebraten und das Schnitzel war nur noch hart. Auch zu bemängeln ist das Tiere im Lokal erlaubt sind, die gerade an nassen Tagen stark riechen.

Essen ist gut, auch den Biergarten finde ich sehr ansprechend. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Chefin sollte von ihrem hohen Ross runterkommen. Wir waren früher regelmäßig hier und hatte auch mehrere Familienfeiern und Firmenfeiern hier. Inzwischen sieht uns der Laden nur noch von Außen. Die Qualität und insbesondere Freundlichkeit hat massiv nachgelassen.

Mein Lieblingsrestaurant. Die Qualität der Speisen ist sehr gut und immer gleich, kein Überraschungsoaket mit schwankenden Leistungen. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr angenehm und warm von der Lichtgestaltung. Der Service ist auch super, nettes Personal. Parkplätze sind auch ausreichend vorhanden und neben des Lokals vorhanden. Hatte noch nie Probleme mit der Parksituation. Die Sanitären Anlagen sind auch sauber. Fazit: Als Gast ist man willkommen und fühlt sich wohl. Ich und meine Familie sind regelmäßig aufgrund der genannten Punkte hier.

Über eine Stunde auf Essen zu warten empfinde ich als zu lang

Cordon Bleu + Spätzle + Beilagensalat = lecker! tolles Essen, passende Speisekarte und ein guter Service klare Empfehlung.

Leckeres Essen; schönes Ambiente. Waren seit Langem mal wieder da. Das Essen ist weiterhin super lecker...große Portionen welche definitiv satt machen. Man darf zwar ein bisschen auf den vollen Teller warten, aber Leute...somit weiß man auch, dass das Essen frisch zubereitet wird. Wer schnelles Essen will soll zum Fast food Laden. Super Essen. Preis/Leitung passt. Das Personal hat sogar 6 Sterne verdient.

Waren heute Abend zu zweit in der Krone in Diedesheim essen. Das Essen war in Ordnung trotz Wartezeit 45min+. Leider nahm der Abend dann ein unschönes Ende: ich bezahlte via Apple Pay und als der Beleg nach erfolgreicher Zahlung gedruckt und das Geld bereits vom Konto abgebucht war - wollte man jene Karte, sowie keine andere meiner sechs Karten akzeptieren (5x Debit (MasterCard), 1x Credit). Man erklärte mir, man akzeptiere nur VISA, da bei meinen Debitkarten jenes Geld erst am 20. jeden Monats ausgezahlt werde und aufgrund der Gebühren. Ich bot sogar an, da ich kein Bargeld dabei hatte, die Gebühr durch Trinkgeld auszugleichen, doch mein freundliches Angebot wurde pampig abgelehnt. Die Chefin ließ mich nicht aussprechen, wurde unsachlich und teilte uns mit, dass man „Kunden wie uns […] nicht brauche“ - absolut dilettantisch. Bei beinahe 70€ die wir zu zahlen hatten, höchst unbefriedigend für den Kunden, dem man in solch einem Moment noch mit der Polizei droht. Schade. Nach 10 Besuchen im vergangenen Jahr war dies unser Letzter in der Krone. In hohen Tönen werden wir auch Freunden und Bekannten nicht von dieser Gaststätte berichten.

Gutes Essen, gut für große Gruppengeeignet und freundlicher Service! Vor allem die Bühne für Vorträge o.ä. hat mir sehr gefallen.

Ich besuchte ein wundervolles, gemütliches und warmes Restaurant. Es war Weihnachtszeit, die Dekoration und das Ambiente waren wunderschön. Keine künstlichen Blumen, alles wirkte wie im Märchen. Ich hatte einen wundervollen Abend, und das Essen hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Hilfsbereites Personal, überall positive Atmosphäre, und das Essen war hausgemacht, alles hausgemacht und köstlich. Vielen Dank für den wundervollen Abend, die Gastgeber sind darauf bedacht, jeden Gaumen zu verwöhnen. Das Restaurant, die Inhaber, das Essen und das Personal verdienen jedes Lob! 🥰♥️

Wir waren schon öfter in der Krone essen und immer zufrieden, das vorletzte mal allerdings nicht, extrem lange Wartezeiten und das Essen war durchwachsen. Manche waren zufrieden, Manche nicht. Beim letzten Mal war wieder alles gut. Essen und Service waren sehr gut. Die Krone ist auch wenn sie ein bisschen nachgelassen hat trotzdem noch zu empfehlen.

Ein ganz ganz tolles Restaurant!!! Super nettes Personal und großes Lob an das ganze Team und an Familie Heck für leckeres Essen und tolle Veranstaltungen! Die Stunde Fahrt lohnt sich alle mal und ich freue mich bei jedem geplanten Besuch aufs Neue auf die Krone!!! 👑

1.Weihnachtsfeiertag 2025 waren wir mit 7 Personen + Kleinkind essen. Die 8. Person wurde ein Tag davor krank. Wir haben morgens am 25.12 gleich um 11 Uhr die Person abgemeldet. Laut Öffnungszeiten war am Tag zu vor Ruhetag. Ende vom Lied... wir mussten eine Strafe von 20 Euro für die nicht erschienene Person zahlen. Sehr schade obwohl wir abgesagt haben. Krankheit kann leider nicht geplant werden!

Für den 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag für 4 Personen einen Tisch bestellt. Leider kurzfristig 2 Personen erkrankt! Bei der Begrüssung( kann eigentlich nicht so genannt werden,,kein- Guten Abend- Frohe Weihnachten,, nur das 20 Euro zu zahlen sind! Nun, waren schon oft dort- für 2026 werden dem Gasthaus auf jeden Fall 4 Gäste fehlen, und mit der Bikergruppe findet sich im Sommer auch Ersatz! Irgendwann:" Wegen Reichtum geschlossen"" Die 7% dürfen sie auch behalten! K&K Mosbach

Schließe mich der anderen Bewertung an. Die gleiche Situation, wir wollen mit einer kleinen Gruppe essen gehen. Leider sind 2 Personen kurzfristig erkrankt und konnten nicht mit. Es gab vorher keinerlei Hinweis auf eine Ausfallgebühr von 20€ Pro Person und in den AGB's ist auch nichts dergleichen hinterlegt und ist auch nicht üblich für ein Restaurant dieser Preisklasse. Somit ist es auch nicht zulässig, diese Gebühr in Rechnung zu stellen. Die Schwiegereltern haben es trotzdem bezahlt, um sich den Abend nicht komplett versauen zu lassen. Das war dann auch das letzte mal in der Krone.zum Glück gibt es mehr als genug Alternativen.

Geplantes und reserviertes Familien-Weihnachtsessen am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag fand ein jähes und abruptes Ende. Bei angemeldeten 20 Personen trafen sich davon 17 gesunde Personen im Lokal. 3 Personen konnten krankheitsbedingt nicht teilnehmen. Für die 3 fehlende Personen sollten wir 60€ Ausfallgebühr bezahlen. Noch bevor die Getränke serviert wurden, baten wir um ein Gespräch mit der Chefin. Sie wich keinen Millimeter von ihrer Forderung ab, mit den Worten: „Bezahlen oder ihr könnt auch gehen“.Wir haben uns fürs Gehen entschieden. So gewinnt man keine Kundschaft. Das beste an der Geschichte ist, nach einem kurzen Anruf draußen fanden wir sofort eine andere Lokation. Daraus wurde ein für alle unvergessene Familienfeier🍻.

Gerade nach über 20 Minuten Wartezeit! Und 2x nachfragen! Trotz Reservierung! Mit 12 Personen wieder gegangen! Sorry das geht gar nicht! Pizzeria gegenüber hat uns trotz sehr viel Betrieb sofort genommen 👌🏻

Wir waren hier mit Freunden Abendessen. Das Cordon Bleu war sehr gut. Der Beilagensalat mit einem tollen Dressing. Die Portion war sehr gut. Mit Pommes und Salat völlig ausreichend. Es hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Sind bisher noch immer sehr zufrieden nach Hause gegangen.

Für den heutigen zweiten Weihnachtsfeiertag hatten wir bereits vor mehreren Monaten einen Tisch für 20 Personen reserviert, um mit der ganzen Familie gemeinsam essen zu gehen. Beim Eintreffen waren wir 17 Personen. Anstatt einer freundlichen Begrüßung wurden wir direkt mit dem Hinweis konfrontiert, dass pro fehlender Person eine Ausfallgebühr von 20 € zu zahlen sei. Diese Regelung wurde zu keinem Zeitpunkt im Vorfeld kommuniziert. Auf unsere Beschwerde reagierte die Chefin äußerst unkooperativ. Man ließ uns kaum aussprechen und stellte uns vor die Wahl: zahlen oder gehen. Kulanz war in keiner Form vorhanden – selbst die Nachfrage nach einem Gutschein wurde abgelehnt. Am Ende hat sich das Restaurant dadurch selbst geschadet: Statt einer kleinen Differenzzahlung gingen mehrere hundert Euro Umsatz verloren. Es kann immer vorkommen, dass kurzfristig jemand ausfällt, besonders bei einer großen Gruppe. Ein solches Verhalten gegenüber Gästen, gerade an Feiertagen und bei einer lang im Voraus geplanten Reservierung, ist nicht akzeptabel. Für uns steht fest, dass wir dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen werden.

Die Krone kenne ich schon lange, ich erinnere mich an ein Konzert mit Walter Moßmann in den 80ern. Nach Umzug und Es ist etwas einigen Jahren Pause war ich heute zum Familielessen wieder da. Aus der gutbürgerlichen Gaststätte ist ein ansehnliches Speiselokal geworden, mit aufmerksamem Service und sehr guter Küche. Der Preis geht für die Qualität absolut in Ordnung. Die Krone kann ich wirklich e0mpfehlen. Außerhalb der Bewertung noch ein paar nettgemeinte Hinweise: Eine Reservierung per Mail oder Onlinedienst statt ausschließlich telefonisch, und die eine oder andere Kreditkarte anstelle nur Bargeld und EC wäre nicht nur zeitgemäß, es würde sich bestimmt auch positiv auf den Umsatz auswirken. Auch ein Hinweis auf die gute Erreichbarkeit mit Bus und Bahn wären zeitgemäß.

09.12.2025 Als kleine Gruppe zum gemütlichen Abendessen hier. Das Personal ist freundlich, das Essen schmeckt gut bis sehr gut könnte aber etwas heißer serviert werden.

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant mit hervorragendem Essen und Service. Große Portionen.

Das erste Mal in der Krone....absolut positiv - durch und durch. Die Bedienung war super freundlich, kam immer wieder an den Tisch um zu schauen, das alles passt und ob wir noch etwas brauchen, das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich, sauber und farblich stimmig/harmonisch. Die Portionen sind reichlich, sehr lecker. Wir hatten Schnitzel/Pommes und Salat.Die Salatsoße war toll. Preis/Leistungverhältnis absolut gerechtfertigt. Die Toiletten pickobello. Kein Toilettengeruch - sogar Deodorant wird bereitgestellt, falls man sich erfrischen möchte.

I don't want to complain, the food is really great, it's just the incredibly long wait. That definitely needs to change; I waited an hour for dessert.

After more than 2 hours, we finally received the food for 4 people, 1 of which was missing, which then took another 30 minutes and that one was also wrong.

After our experience at the Krone two years ago during a family meal, we decided to give it another chance today. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. It's a shame that we couldn't even enjoy the truly excellent food because we simply weren't served. After 25 minutes and two requests to see if someone could come, the neighboring Pizzeria Capri spontaneously and warmly welcomed us. Dear Krone team – this might happen once in a while, and only when the place is packed! We don't understand and are very sorry that we weren't welcomed as guests.

We had made a reservation there for a very large family gathering on Saturday with 45 people. Many attendees came from the Frankfurt area, some with a long drive. Naturally, we represented all age groups, from a two-year-old child to many older people with disabilities such as wheelchair users, blindness, and other challenges. There was a ramp to bypass the stairs, and the dining room was wheelchair accessible. The service and empathy of the staff were excellent, as was the quality of the food. We all felt very welcome and were served with charm.

We were absolutely thrilled!!! There was nothing, not a single thing, to complain about!!! The food was perfect throughout!! The menu is so well-rounded that there's something for everyone, and the option to choose your own side dishes is fantastic!!! We'll definitely be celebrating our special occasions there more often, but it's advisable to reserve a table, as others have also noticed how delicious the food is!!!

We were there with a stroller and got a great table where it didn't bother us at all. The staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious. There was so much food that some of us couldn't finish it all, but it was no problem taking the rest with us. The value for money was absolutely perfect. Also worth mentioning is how clean the restrooms were, and that there's a well-equipped changing table and even a mini-toilet for children.

In general, I was always very satisfied when I was at the Krone. However, after the last visit, I was out of action for two days because something wasn't right with the food. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Cozy beer garden, good and tasty food. Very friendly service.

Very nice beer garden, but that was it, unfortunately! After about 20 minutes, they asked us what we wanted to drink without bringing a drinks menu. We then had to wait about 20 minutes for our drinks (6 people), two of which were incorrect, but we kept them out of courtesy. It took almost an hour after ordering to receive our food. (It was either cold or completely dry). For the rump steak, I wanted gravy instead of onion sauce, which was charged extra, despite the misunderstanding! We ordered drinks again, but they forgot to bring them.

Great service, food was delicious.

Nice restaurant in itself and good food but when we were there with my family we had to wait about an hour for the food. We then got it in 5 to 10 minute intervals while I then had to wait another hour for my food. When I finally got it it was only lukewarm and everyone else was finished. As an apology we were only offered a cappuccino.

Last Saturday, my wife and I had planned to visit the restaurant there. Knowing full well that it might be full, I had tried to make a reservation by phone over two hours in advance. Unfortunately, despite numerous attempts, no one answered. So, on a whim, I drove there around 7 p.m. and tried to get a seat. Even when looking for a parking space in front of the restaurant, I was surprised by how few cars were parked. So, with high hopes, we entered the restaurant, and a quick glance into the beer garden revealed that only about half of the tables were occupied. The same thing happened in the restaurant. Except that every free table had a reserved sign. We waited at the bar. The "bartender" said we'd have to wait a moment for a colleague, who scurried past after two minutes. When I asked about two free seats without prior reservations, we unfortunately had to leave because the Krone was short-staffed today and therefore couldn't accommodate any more guests. Dear Krone management: this can be done better, for example, by leaving a corresponding message on the answering machine. But turning down long-standing guests with a reason for cancellation is a no-go, sorry. Or just do what other good restaurants do during the holiday season, like the Lamm in MOS.

Very good food. Service was always very friendly. We were pleasantly surprised.

I'm very happy with the restaurant, although I find the portion sizes a bit too small. In terms of taste and service, I think it's very good there.

Highly recommended for eating out. We ordered, but the prices on the website weren't up to date. So we ended up paying €42 more. It can happen, but it's a shame that you're initially told you used a card that's not from the restaurant. The evidence we received confirmed the error on the restaurant's website. After a brief apology, the manager quickly turned away from us.

We had reserved a table for two in the beer garden on August 7, 2025. We asked not to be given the table directly next to the entrance, but rather one in the shade. Upon our arrival, however, we were shown to the table directly next to the entrance. When we asked which other table we could have, we were told that all other suitable tables were already reserved. We were then assigned one, which we had to move to the shade. After a few minutes, two women came in and were asked if they had a reservation, which they replied no. These two women were then even offered two tables to choose from. We spoke to the waitress about this, and she told us that she didn't feel like discussing table reservations with guests, that we had no idea what she was doing all day, and that we had no right to choose our seating preferences; she still decided where the guests sat. She even mimicked us (it's so awful sitting up front) and made it clear who was in charge! The icing on the cake was that after the exchange, she asked us if we wanted anything else to eat or if we'd lost our appetite. We had indeed lost our appetite! We've been guests at the Krone for 50 years and have hosted several family celebrations there. We've never encountered such a waitress. She can tell other guests what's up in the near future!

I was impressed by how well the restaurant caters to children! There's a special children's menu, a playground with a grassy area, swings, a slide, sand, and a playhouse, art supplies at the table, a really clean and beautiful changing area with a mobile, and even a children's restroom with a stool. The only thing I missed in the children's dishes was a vegetable option, but here you can make do with a side dish of celery or broccoli. The children's portion was huge, so we had quite a bit left over, and the adults' portions were also a decent size and very tasty. We'd love to come back!

A beautiful restaurant with a wonderful beer garden. Unfortunately, due to a wedding reception, we had to wait quite a while for our food. But the wait was worth it. Very tasty food (sausage salad with fries, hunter's schnitzel with croquettes and a side salad). The schnitzel was juicy, and the salad was delicious. I would definitely recommend it.

We ate there for the first time with friends and we really enjoyed it. The service was friendly. The food was delicious and fresh. A good selection of dishes. It's good value for money. We'd be happy to come back.

We wanted to have lunch today. The waitress said it would take longer because they were understaffed. That was perfectly fine. We waited 10 minutes to be seated. 30 minutes to order drinks. After we ordered our drinks, and they still hadn't arrived 30 minutes later, the waitress came over and said the kitchen was closed. Absolutely outrageous. I won't be eating there again.

Incredibly unprofessional. Long wait times and rude treatment of guests – that's all we need to say. We waited over 40 minutes for our order without any information or apology. When we politely asked, we received only a rude response. The service was neither attentive nor helpful – as a guest, you feel more like a nuisance. If you value respect, reliability, and good staff, this is definitely the wrong place. Never again.

The restaurant is very nice and quiet.

We celebrated our wedding there in mid-May 2025 and couldn't have imagined a better location. Everything was perfect: the food, the service, the location, simply everything. The day was an unforgettable one for us and our guests. Our guests keep telling us that the food was simply fantastic, the waiters fulfilled our every wish, and that it was an all-round successful celebration. I even met someone this week who said, "I haven't laughed so much in a long time," and above all, the tarte flambée and the mini meatloaf rolls for the champagne reception were absolutely delicious 😋 and the rump steak was cooked to perfection. Even the children were happy and content; they had a wonderful time in the playground and had a blast. So, big and small, young and old, were well looked after that day, and we as the bride and groom could simply enjoy the day and not have to worry about a thing.

We were very disappointed and, to be honest, offended. Two friends had their food well before me – my schnitzel arrived very late, and the accompanying baked potato was completely forgotten. When I asked, they simply replied, "Coming right away" – without an apology. When my potatoes finally arrived, I asked for the schnitzel to be reheated. The waiter then seriously told me to eat faster if the schnitzel was too cold for me. (The schnitzel, which I had ordered with the baked potatoes as a side dish, was told to eat faster before the potatoes were even brought to the table.) This rude and disrespectful behavior left us speechless. Despite the poor service, the lack of apology, and the unpleasant interaction, it must be mentioned that the food was delicious. Nothing particularly special, but still delicious. Nevertheless, there is no trace of customer service or sense of responsibility here. An absolute no-go for us – we certainly won't be coming back.

Everything was excellent. We ate well and with plenty of it. The selection of dishes was also excellent. The service was attentive. We had reserved the table for a family celebration. The table was beautifully decorated and set. We went home satisfied and full.

We were there with a large group of guests from Lymington and thoroughly enjoyed the evening in the Great Hall. Everything was perfect, from the champagne reception in the beer garden to the buffet and drinks. Many thanks to the team.

Very tasty. The best spaetzle you'll ever find. The salad with the homemade yogurt sauce is simply amazing. My son loves it. Highly recommended. Everything on the menu is truly delicious.

Service was good and friendly, unfortunately the food was not. Sauce (probably) mixed from the package, the meat of the schnitzel was of poor quality and difficult to cut. Far too expensive for that. There will be no repeat.

I really enjoyed the food and the dishes are served on original dishes that are eye-catching. Everything is clean, fresh and carefully prepared. The staff is hard-working and attentive. everyone respect you!!!! The little Easter baskets filled with bread were a hit on Mother's Day evening given to me by one of my sons. be blessed!!

We were guests here on May 1st, the food and drinks were excellent, but our waitress named Elena was particularly special. A very special star in this restaurant.

We were very surprised...expected something completely different, but we were pleasantly surprised. The service is unbeatable, it's very rare to find something this nice. Very surprised by the food...sufficient and very tasty. We'll definitely come back and if we have visitors we'll take them with us...we had a very nice evening...Thank you very much.

Very inflexible and arrogant! Requested a small portion because of stomach surgery. The request was ignored and the food was served as normal, with the explanation that small portions weren't possible. At no point was the guest considered – quite the opposite! I am very disappointed by the lack of flexibility and (in)humanity.

Tasty food with generous portions. The menu is a bit misleading – some side dishes and side salads have to be ordered separately; this puts the initially seemingly low price into perspective. But I'm already looking forward to my next meal there...

Incredibly bad service. No ability to deal with constructive criticism. Universal reason for all problems: lack of staff. I'll accept it if the restaurant is full. But not when you're almost alone in the restaurant and then have to listen to the cook complain loudly about an extra request. My wife just asked if she could have fried mushrooms on the salad. Meaning: “They should eat what’s on the menu!” Like many other reviewers here, the complaint to the boss came to nothing. There wasn't even an apology. It's always someone else's fault. Were there last time...

We had made reservations as a family for a birthday dinner. 45 minutes later we only had something to drink on the table because we weren't asked what we would like to drink until half an hour later. 7:15 p.m. reserved, 7:50 p.m. got something to drink. The food order was taken at 7:50 p.m., a long time later the first plates arrived, without cutlery!!! At 8:55 p.m. everyone finally had dinner. Never again, worst service we have ever had. The boss apologized that it was difficult to find skilled staff (waiters), but you don't need any training for good behavior. After getting up, my sister went to the toilet and heard the waitress say: you've finally gotten up, I can't see you anymore. On August 5th, 2024 we visited the Etablissement Krone, we ordered a table for 7:15 p.m. arrived on time, we sat and waited a full 40 minutes for the conditions to bring the menu to the table, at 7:50 p.m. the time had come and the drinks were ordered replied, we waited another 20 minutes until we finally got the food. During this we observed where new guests came and were served directly and their orders were brought forward. When I asked if we ordered something out of the ordinary (2 schnitzels with 3 of them fries, a salad and 3 schnitzels with fried potatoes) that would be out of the ordinary, the waitress said " I'll ask in the kitchen" After another 15 minutes, 3 schnitzels with fries arrived, one supposedly with bacon, which didn't contain any bacon, we waited another 15 minutes until the others at the table got their food, and the other one's food was cold no longer fresh!!! Cutlery was in short supply, we had to ask for more cutlery!!!! We were 5 adults, 1 child was brought 2 cutlery, the rest we had to (almost ask for it). When I asked for the landlord to complain about the service we were offered, he was told he would be there soon, but he was more busy chatting with other guests at the bar in the restaurant after 45 minutes and finally he was there. and asked why he was called!!!! When I told him that the service today had nothing to do with customer orientation and he was already blaming his staff, he wouldn't find any staff etc.! However, this did not pass the constructive criticism as he was told that other guests who arrived well after us were given priority and that we had to wait forever for the service to eat and drink. But dear Mr. Owner of Krone, please be aware that at the end of the day it is the guests who ensure that a restaurant runs because if no one comes, they have no reason to run this restaurant and as someone who, according to his own statement, has 16 years of experience Take criticism seriously because any criticism like today's can only help you to improve instead of threatening to never visit us again!!!!
