Delicious, varied food from the buffet, very friendly but unobtrusive staff, cozy, bright guest room.

We were there again on Monday around 1 p.m. We weren't disappointed: The food was very good, the buffet plentiful and varied. The staff is friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. We will continue to eat there. August 28, 2020: Even during the coronavirus pandemic, we were treated well as usual. The food was delicious and fresh. Everything was great, as mentioned above. One of the waiters is a nice, funny guy, a real pleasure to have. September 24, 2025: The Drachen has been renovated and expanded in the meantime. The food is still as good and plentiful as usual, thanks to the all-you-can-eat buffet.

We managed to get room for 20 people that same day. From the friendly phone call to the end of the evening, it was a thoroughly enjoyable restaurant visit. Some waiters might be a bit grumpy, but the chef was all the more fun, reliable, and very concerned about his guests' well-being! Our birthday boy even received a gift; the whole group got a free shot. The buffet was incredibly plentiful, with a great selection, and incredibly delicious! The price of €28 per person for the buffet, including one drink, is very fair for what it offers. We felt completely at home and can definitely recommend the Drachenhaus for any occasion, big or small. We'll be back! :)

The restaurant has been completely renovated and expanded! One unique feature I've never seen before in any other restaurant is: The chef himself gives new visitors a complete tour of the entire buffet. We absolutely love visiting this restaurant!

We were there on Sunday, August 24th, and were absolutely thrilled! The food was incredibly delicious, the decor was lovely, and everything was spotlessly clean. What's especially great is that the chef personally visits the guests – it immediately creates a warm feeling. At the end, we even got a fortune cookie and, upon request, a liqueur. The buffet price even included a drink, so it's truly excellent value for money. The selection is huge: appetizers, main courses, dessert, and you can even have your meal grilled – there's something for everyone. The staff is super friendly, and there's even a parking space right outside. We'll definitely be back!

I've known this place for many years and am somewhat impressed. The entire interior is tiled, reminiscent of a slaughterhouse. The buffet is very, very extensive and always stocked with fresh produce. The staff, mostly young people, are very polite. As a sales representative, I know many Chinese restaurants and have to complain that the rice served here tastes "strange" and is very lumpy. The price is at the very top end; €28 per person (buffet) is pretty steep. The VAT reduction to 7% hasn't yet made it to MOS. Nevertheless, I can recommend the restaurant.

We came here for dinner and were satisfied. The buffet selection is truly fantastic; there's something for everyone. From fish to meat to vegetarian, there's something for everyone. The selection at the teppanyaki grill is also good, with many types of fresh seafood and meat, along with fresh vegetables. The chef cooked the food just right; nothing was overcooked or too firm; highly recommended. The server (and probably the owner too) was super friendly, almost overly so, but he loved what he was doing; it wasn't fake. So, we had a lovely evening and would come back anytime.

Today, as a family of seven, we went to the Drachenhaus Mosbach for the first time, and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was excellent, very clean and efficient, the staff very friendly, and the waiter very funny. It was our son's birthday and he couldn't be happier. I highly recommend it! Finally, there's something like this in Mosbach where you can go as a family without having to drive to Heilbronn or anywhere else. So treat yourself, it's worth it!

A wonderful restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, modern design, and a small outdoor area. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and you immediately feel at home. The food is excellent. There's a large buffet selection of salads, soups, sushi, meat, and fish for roasting. Fresh vegetables and many side dishes are always plentiful. The dessert is delicious. We'd love to come back. I recommend eating here to everyone. It's really worth it.

The rooms are also perfectly air-conditioned, which, along with the excellent food, is a top priority in this hot summer weather. Very good value for money. Thank you for the long tradition of the Drachenhaus in Mosbach! We've celebrated birthdays here many times and have eaten there time and again. The food is really good, and the roast duck has substantial meat portions. The service is always friendly and cheerful—what more could you want from a classic Chinese restaurant?

We enjoyed the delicious lunch buffet with the grill. The food was always freshly replenished, the service was attentive, and empty plates were regularly cleared, so there was always room on the table for the next course. We'd love to come back.

The quality and selection of the food has declined significantly. However, the price for the buffet seems to rise every month. Dinner buffet currently €28 in the evening. Were there for 3 hours and during this time there was no service to ask if you wanted any more drinks. It's a shame, it used to be really tasty and cozy.

I was really surprised, from the outside you can't even see how great it is inside. We went to check out the high ice suit for our son on Saturday afternoon. And wow, I was so positively surprised. From the outside, as I said, it's not very inviting. And then you come in and wow. And the food is amazing. And the staff were so accommodating and we all felt very comfortable. A restaurant easy to reach. Very tasty food and a large selection.. buffet style all you can eat at lunchtime.. very friendly staff. The facility is a bit cool but clean. Lots of background noise because everything is tiled, including some on the walls. Still nice overall. Can definitely be recommended.

great selection at the buffet. There really is something for everyone. The children were happy with fries, croquettes, chicken nuggets and ketchup. So even the little ones are taken care of. The large selection of ice cream and the chocolate fountain became their highlight. Just a little more fresh fruit could be offered. The pudding and tiramisu are also highly recommended. The music was a bit too loud for our taste and the tables were very close together. The staff was very friendly. A little expensive, but all you can eat🤷🏽‍♀️

I was surprised at how good the food is there.

Kangaroo was a bit tough. Dolphin takes some getting used to. Shark solid. Ambiance is very nice but Titanic music plays all the time. Therefore only 4 stars.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating, but also refreshingly cheerful and occasionally chatty, but never intrusive or inappropriate. The ambience is clean, modern, bright and clear. There are many seating options. We were there on a Tuesday evening and it was busy but not crowded. I rate the wheelchair ramp at the entrance very positively. I can't say whether there is a disabled toilet, the "normal" toilet is too narrow for wheelchairs. There is a changing table. The food from the buffet was really delicious and had a colorful, large selection. There was also enough vegetarian food. I love the sesame balls! Here too, the staff were on their toes and always kept things tidy. Thanks for the lychee cocktail! A clear recommendation from me!

Very great quality of the food. Ambience very modern and appealing. Extremely friendly service. Tasty presentation of the food, after all, the eye eats with it. The salad is really super fresh and not wilted The chairs are comfortable but rather functional. After the restaurant was renovated, it became much better and had a lot more selection.

Buffet costs €27.90 if you want to order a la carte. They just look at you strangely and ask you why... do you have allergies... etc. It's always up to you to decide whether you want to choose from the buffet.

After the renovation work, we didn't dare to come to the party with guests right away because some of the new reviews were very negative. Conclusion: The ambience no longer seems so cozy, but friendly. Buffet has been restructured, there are many new dishes. Therefore - I'll be back. Very tasty, but also very popular, which sometimes visibly overwhelms the service.

Food was OK, but the waiting times weren't good, the buffet wasn't set up well. To get the meat you have to wait 45 minutes because you have to queue for the fish. Well, it tastes good somewhere else too

Great buffet and great service. The choclate fountain is a dream. Nice Sushi. Fried pudding was soo good. Got yelled at by a cute waitress for wanting a lollipop instead of a fortune cookie. Told her "Iam 44 years old, i know what iam doing." Then i ate the fortune cookie. Would get yelled at again 10/10. So cute.

We were in the converted restaurant for the first time today. It is very disappointing. It looks like a hospital cafeteria and the walls are tiled like in the pathology department. Unfortunately it is very uncomfortable and cold. It's no longer possible to go out for a leisurely meal.

We have often eaten at the Drachenhaus in recent years and spent many cozy hours there with friends and family and we were always (!) very satisfied. Yesterday we were there again and I was so shocked... Coziness of a canteen, floodlights like in the operating room and chairs + tables like in the Ikea children's paradise. It was a Thursday evening, we had a buffet - a lot of things were cold/lukewarm/dried out/hard. The only thing that really tasted good was the food from the grill. The service staff were all very nice and tried very hard and also got good tips from us, it's not their fault! But we won't be coming back, unfortunately. I will miss the old dragon house very much.. :-(

After conversion (renovation) it was great again. The renovation was designed to be very bright, giving the whole thing a canteen feel, which is a shame and doesn't quite fit with the concept. The buffet has enough variety. The quality of the food also suffered somewhat. Maybe a new chef. As always, the staff is very friendly and ensures a good atmosphere.

The three of us had dinner there on September 28th, 2024 (birthday), despite reservations we couldn't get a seat on the grounds that we hadn't reserved where we wanted to go, we were shown a table at the back of the stairs, we felt like we were in Shower cubicle (because the wall was tiled), on this Saturday they stood in two rows at the buffet and you didn't get a chance to eat in peace, there was through traffic to the back hall. For food, well... the atmosphere is terrible (some student cafeterias are nicer). We won't be coming back anymore.

We've been eating in the restaurant for a long time and are unfortunately a bit disappointed. Before the renovation, the restaurant was more comfortable and the quality of the food at the buffet was significantly better. Very crowded and loud on weekends.

As for the assortment of food, unfortunately, it disappointed me a little. Compared to other similar establishments, the choice of dishes here is not as wide as expected. Would like to see more variety The atmosphere in the restaurant reminded me of a canteen: a lot of noisy conversations and running around. This creates a feeling of turmoil, which is not exactly conducive to an enjoyable dinner. Perhaps if the atmosphere were a little calmer it would have added to the enjoyment of the visit. However, it is worth noting that the service in the restaurant was at the highest level. The waiters were attentive, quick to respond to requests and always with a smile. It certainly created a pleasant mood, despite the noise and not much choice of food.

We went to the evening buffet after the renovation and are very disappointed!!! Atmosphere like in a snack hall and very loud, so that it was difficult to have a conversation at the table, even with the person sitting next to you. The price for the evening buffet was outrageously high compared to lunchtime, €17.90 at lunchtime and a whopping €27.90 per person in the evening!! ‼️‼️The plates and bowls were smaller and during our 3.5 hours the service was at the table once to see if we wanted to order anything else.

What happened here? We always loved going to the dragon house. Now the restaurant has been renovated and unfortunately, unfortunately we are VERY disappointed. Atmosphere suddenly like in a canteen or train station. Also the color combination is questionable...white/brown walls, but blue, red chairs?! Buffet now new location, but set up very clumsily, which means there are now long queues. The food has also significantly lost quality. The real hit was shrimp that tasted like mold. Staff but very friendly and helpful. New prices and a drink is now included in the buffet price.

The ambience is terrible. Like in a subway stop. It's a real shame. The food and service is great.

The ambience is kept very bright and fresh in white. I was there for the lunch buffet and I have to say I was very pleased. The price (at this point €17.50) includes a free drink (for me it was a very good 0.4 mango spritzer with plenty of juice). A colorful and extensive offering, a really great and tasty sushi offering, sometimes a little different than the competitors. The redesign has brought more than just a positive change. The quality and offering has improved many times over. Service was absolutely friendly and prompt, despite many occupied tables. It was busy and the buffet was always refilled quickly. 5 stars from me so far. I think we'll try the buffet in the evening soon.

The visit to the “Dragon” was an absolute highlight! The stylish ambience and authentic furnishings create a welcoming atmosphere. The service was outstanding – friendly, attentive and competent. The food was fresh, tasted excellent and beautifully presented. The crispy duck is particularly recommended. The selection of drinks is varied and of high quality. We moved to Dallau in September and were here for the first time today. Finally service staff who understand you and can also speak German so you can communicate with each other. The food from the buffet was very good. There are also a lot of things made from meat and/or vegetables...so far we have visited Chinese places that mostly had fish and little selection of vegetables or meat. Just positive We will come back.

A young lady in service was unfriendly and didn't want to work. When we were clearing up we weren't even asked if we wanted something more to drink. Food very tasteless. Sauces too watery. We won't be coming back again. Given the prices, I also want and expect service.
