This place was very nice. The staff was friendly, we placed our order quite quickly and the food and drinks arrived fast. The interior was really beautiful. The prices were expensive but it was in the center of Metzingen where all the clothing brands were. My family ate dinner and from their feedback they liked the food. I only ate dessert but it was also very delicious. I would recommend going there if you are in the center of Metzingen.

Me and my family really liked the ambience and concept. However, the food would be considered OK if it were a snack. Wiener Schnitzel, Kaiserschmarren etc. are all frozen products. I have that at home too!

Great restaurant in the beautiful Alphaus style with lots of rustic wood. The menus are fine and rich, rounded off by stylish traditional costumes and attentive, super-friendly service.

We were there for lunch - (Outletcity visit). The place is very cozy, complete with rustic but tasteful wooden furnishings. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the menu (Swabian, Bavarian) offers something for everyone. We ordered white sausages with pretzels and were very satisfied. We'll be back!

A golden rule for any seasoned traveler is to avoid restaurants right in the heart of tourist hotspots. You're usually much better off venturing a little further—sometimes even a side or parallel street offers significantly better value, often at half the price, with a noticeable improvement in quality. With this in mind, I didn't have high expectations for this restaurant. Surprisingly, it turned out to be decent, though the prices were on the higher side compared to what was offered. My pizza, however, was delicious and far too large for one person. In the end, dining here, right in the middle of Outletcity, wasn't a bad choice (perhaps a bit of a spontaneous decision), but there are certainly better options outside the outlet area if you're willing to explore a bit more.

We spent the break shopping in Outlet City there. The atmosphere is wonderful and we really liked it. The food was really tasty and overall very inexpensive. We are thrilled and it was very good.

Great atmosphere, but unfortunately that's about it! The food is absolutely underground. Visually it's really well presented. But unfortunately in this place it's all about the looks. Frozen schnitzel from the deep fryer, potato salad from the bucket and spaetzle from the package. And that for the price. An absolute disgrace! We could have eaten at McDonald's, at least I knew in advance that I wasn't eating anything high-quality. When we asked the boss about the poor quality of the food, he just replied arrogantly, what do we expect for the price? You can't get a pan-fried schnitzel for 20 euros. Once and never again!

We were totally hungry after a day of shopping at the outlet. A very nice restaurant, you feel like you're in an alpine hut in Bergen - great ambience. The food came suspiciously quickly, which clearly suggests that it was ready-made. The roast pork with mashed potatoes was good, but more of a senior portion. The schnitzel with spaetzle was an impertinence: small, thin (estimated at most 100g of meat), made in the deep fryer and quite tasteless. The breading was hard and fell off the meat. The spaetzle also convenience. The best thing was the sauce. All in all, this is not cooking! This beautiful restaurant had better expected. We won't be coming back.

Beautiful ambience. However, unfortunately there wasn't much good to come out of the food when main courses were served after 5 minutes. Unfortunately, optics aren't always everything. Unfortunately, €26 for a ready-made schnitzel with ready-made spaetzle that was only heated briefly is simply not justified…. While passing through, spontaneously stopped at the outlet and looked for a little something to eat. From the first impression to the end it was just perfect! Ordering was made via an online site, simple and uncomplicated. The service is incredibly friendly. Food came on a turned off wooden board. Everything is given to the eye and ambience! All I can say about the food itself is: fantastic! If we are in the area again we will definitely come back!

The atmosphere was typically Bavarian. The snack board and the carpaccio made from grass-fed beef were incredibly delicious. We can definitely recommend it and would be happy to come back again.

Service was impeccable and the ambience was really nice. The potato salad doesn't taste bad, but it tastes like it came from the supermarket. I don't know if that's the case, but it tasted that way. The schnitzel was probably from the deep fryer. Totally greasy. The meat itself was dry and a bit hard. It tasted like frozen schnitzel from the supermarket when I put it in the deep fryer. The sauce was very good. The portion was simply too small. For that price you get 2 fresh schnitzels in a good restaurant. Here only 1 medium-sized schnitzel. For just under €18 or €21 (with spaetzle) I don't expect any convinience products.

We were there on a Wednesday around 6:30 p.m., half the outdoor area was empty, we were informed that in a certain area only online ordering via a QR code was possible and payment only via GooglePay, ApplePay or credit card. After us came a group of "older" ladies who couldn't handle it, but after some back and forth they were able to order "normally". If you then want another drink, you have to order and pay online again. This is disadvantageous in a group or as a family because everything takes too long. The food arrived quicker than the whole process took. Unfortunately, we were treated to three different music sources at our place.

The ambience here is really worth the 5 stars. Really well done and the food was delicious. Afterwards (or before of course) you can go shopping straight away. The warehouse is very central.

We were here with the team of colleagues after the team event. We sat outside in the beautiful weather. Since Corona, QR codes have found their way onto menus, but paying by credit card was a bit irritating at first. Not everyone always has their credit card with them. Payment is also possible via Klarna. But the drinks and food actually come very quickly. An additional tip can be given directly upon payment. I can't say anything about the interior. Basically 5 stars 🌟 1 star deducted for the service due to the payment method, but the overall rating remains at 5. Great place in outletcity that I didn't know before.

We came as a small group and got a nice place outside. I only give one star because of the ordering options and the payment method. You can't order food without a smartphone! Absolute discrimination in my opinion. You order online using a shopping cart and can only pay with a credit card or instant bank transfer. No EC card and no PayPal possible! In our group of 8 people, only two could order and had to order for the rest. It's ok within a family. But we didn't know each other before and so it wasn't a nice situation. You will then be asked how much tip you would like to give. My first reaction was simply 0 euros. What service should we tip for? Ok, the food runners deserve it. The staff was very nice and the food came very quickly, but that's not how I want to go out to eat. Will avoid the restaurant in the future.

Freundlicher Empfang, Bestellung kann elektronische über Smartphone erfolgen. Getränke waren schön kühl und Bedienung sehr freundlich. Ambiente gefällt mir auch sehr gut. Bestellung kam super schnell. Essen war sehr gut. Stern Abzug, da essen leider nicht besonders warm war als es serviert wurde.

The restaurant and beer garden are very tastefully decorated. However, if you want to sit outside, you have to order and pay yourself using the QR code on your cell phone. That was really too stupid for us. This has little to do with Almresi and more to do with Starship Enterprise. Inside you can still order analogue and pay in cash. While we were there we were able to watch the beer garden and four couples left. There is no alternative to ordering online; if you don't want that, you won't be served outside. The food was nicely prepared and tasty, the schnitzel obviously came from the freezer, looks like a chip shop and not like Almresi. The skills shortage may play a role, but the concept is not coherent and welcoming.

The food is simply too expensive for ready-made products (spaetzle, schnitzel) that are brought to you. For this price I simply demand fresh quality. The service is great, there were 8 of us and we didn't have a reservation and got a seat. The atmosphere is great and inviting.

We have been there several times to eat something and have tried different dishes. The portions are measly, but the prices are steep The taste is rather average. The short time between ordering and serving the food suggests that the concept is focused on convenience and that very little is really freshly prepared. So far this hasn't bothered us because the ambience is nice, we weren't expecting any culinary highlights and we just wanted to briefly recover from the stress of shopping in the outlet. Last week, however, we received by far the worst Viennese veal schnitzel we've ever had. The breading was far from crispy, let alone bubbling, as befits a real veal schnitzel. Unfortunately the breading was pale and greasy and still made up at least 50% of the volume. The schnitzel itself was very thin and was more reminiscent of carpaccio. Instead of complaining about it immediately, we were so stupid and ate it according to the motto “Hunger doesn't do it” - it's your own fault We will now take some time out, there are now other useful alternatives in the outlet.

3.5 stars. Here you pay for the very authentic and detailed ambience. It is very light-filled and cleanly designed. The toilets are clean and large. The food is a big drawback. The salad and the dressing are very tasty but unfortunately the schnitzel and everything around it was probably 100% “convenience food”. Sorry, but for the price I expect not only a perfect ambience, but also high-quality food to complete the authenticity of the restaurant. Logical: The outlet wants to give certain people a typically Bavarian "German" feeling, but anyone who has ever had authentic Bavarian or "Swabian" food knows that this remains a farce. The waitresses wear dirndls but don't have real waiter blood. The service itself was good, but it didn't have the friendliness of a real inn.

Both bathed in oil and very dry, the spaetzle were unfortunately very rubbery. At least the pancake soup was good and we were honest when the question came: “did it taste good?” Unfortunately we said no, unfortunately a lot was left behind on both plates. There was no answer to that except an astonishing look. To us it tasted extremely like frozen goods, which was a real shame for 78€, maybe we can improve this a bit.
