While passing through, spontaneously stopped at the outlet and looked for a little something to eat. From the first impression to the end it was just perfect! Ordering was made via an online site, simple and uncomplicated. The service is incredibly friendly. Food came on a turned off wooden board. Everything is given to the eye and ambience! All I can say about the food itself is: fantastic! If we are in the area again we will definitely come back!

The atmosphere was typically Bavarian. The snack board and the carpaccio made from grass-fed beef were incredibly delicious. We can definitely recommend it and would be happy to come back again.

We discovered a really great restaurant here and were greeted and served in a very friendly manner. The food was very tasty and beautifully arranged. Thank you very much, we will definitely come by when we are back in BW 😃 We had salads. On the left a salad with crispy chicken and on the right a Caesar salad with chicken strips.

Service was impeccable and the ambience was really nice. The potato salad doesn't taste bad, but it tastes like it came from the supermarket. I don't know if that's the case, but it tasted that way. The schnitzel was probably from the deep fryer. Totally greasy. The meat itself was dry and a bit hard. It tasted like frozen schnitzel from the supermarket when I put it in the deep fryer. The sauce was very good. The portion was simply too small. For that price you get 2 fresh schnitzels in a good restaurant. Here only 1 medium-sized schnitzel. For just under €18 or €21 (with spaetzle) I don't expect any convinience products.

The ambience here is really worth the 5 stars. Really well done and the food was delicious. Afterwards (or before of course) you can go shopping straight away. The warehouse is very central.

We were there on a Wednesday around 6:30 p.m., half the outdoor area was empty, we were informed that in a certain area only online ordering via a QR code was possible and payment only via GooglePay, ApplePay or credit card. After us came a group of "older" ladies who couldn't handle it, but after some back and forth they were able to order "normally". If you then want another drink, you have to order and pay online again. This is disadvantageous in a group or as a family because everything takes too long. The food arrived quicker than the whole process took. Unfortunately, we were treated to three different music sources at our place.

Since Corona, QR codes have found their way onto menus, but paying by credit card was a bit irritating at first. Not everyone always has their credit card with them. Payment is also possible via Klarna. But the drinks and food actually come very quickly. An additional tip can be given directly upon payment. I can't say anything about the interior. Basically 5 stars 🌟 1 star deducted for the service due to the payment method, but the overall rating remains at 5. Great place in outletcity that I didn't know before.

Convenient food at its best. The quality of the food is in the background here. Ambience, interior and decoration are more important. The food was barely ordered and it was on the table, unfortunately cold. The salad we ordered was wilted and not fresh. Even the beer we ordered wasn't cold… all in all, the quality of the food was disappointing. Conclusion: an original and chic restaurant on the level of a chip shop, unfortunately!

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Grandma's country house cake was a failure. A small piece, very narrowly cut for 4.90 euros!!! The cake tasted old. About 2-3 days old. Well, it used to be much better. The quality of the food is quite good but the portions are far too small for the price. The drinks are also too expensive. We came as a small group and got a nice place outside. I only give one star because of the ordering options and the payment method. You can't order food without a smartphone! Absolute discrimination in my opinion. You order online using a shopping cart and can only pay with a credit card or instant bank transfer. No EC card and no PayPal possible! In our group of 8 people, only two could order and had to order for the rest. It's ok within a family. But we didn't know each other before and so it wasn't a nice situation. You will then be asked how much tip you would like to give. My first reaction was simply 0 euros. What service should we tip for? Ok, the food runners deserve it. The staff was very nice and the food came very quickly, but that's not how I want to go out to eat. Will avoid the restaurant in the future.

Rustic ambience, built from thick wooden beams. The man at reception was very cold and impersonal... no smile and quite indifferent. The staff seems pretty reserved overall... But no matter, we weren't looking for contact... Food was normal, not a highlight...

The food was too expensive for this price and didn't suit us 100%. It's a shame ☹️ Service was okay. A little more is always possible. The ambience is very nice. The attention to detail is very nice here, but this doesn't make the price-performance ratio any better OK but the food definitely needs an upgrade

Freundlicher Empfang, Bestellung kann elektronische über Smartphone erfolgen. Getränke waren schön kühl und Bedienung sehr freundlich. Ambiente gefällt mir auch sehr gut. Bestellung kam super schnell. Essen war sehr gut. Stern Abzug, da essen leider nicht besonders warm war als es serviert wurde.

The restaurant and beer garden are very tastefully decorated. However, if you want to sit outside, you have to order and pay yourself using the QR code on your cell phone. That was really too stupid for us. This has little to do with Almresi and more to do with Starship Enterprise. Inside you can still order analogue and pay in cash. While we were there we were able to watch the beer garden and four couples left. There is no alternative to ordering online; if you don't want that, you won't be served outside. The food was nicely prepared and tasty, the schnitzel obviously came from the freezer, looks like a chip shop and not like Almresi. The skills shortage may play a role, but the concept is not coherent and welcoming.

The food is simply too expensive for ready-made products (spaetzle, schnitzel) that are brought to you. For this price I simply demand fresh quality. The service is great, there were 8 of us and we didn't have a reservation and got a seat. The atmosphere is great and inviting.

Wir kommen wieder. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend, die Zeit verging wie im fluge. Tolles Essen, guter Service.

Ambience good. The rest is terrible. 1. Anyone who says the food here is good has never eaten well. It is ready-made food that is served cold. 🤢 2. I decide AFTER my meal whether and how much I want to drink. And not beforehand with a set price. 3. The waitresses are in the wrong place, visibly annoyed with their job, the food is served before drinking and the children's portion is served 10 minutes later than everyone else has already had the food, when asked! Catastrophic condition. We are definitely NOT coming back!

We have been there several times to eat something and have tried different dishes. The portions are measly, but the prices are steep The taste is rather average. The short time between ordering and serving the food suggests that the concept is focused on convenience and that very little is really freshly prepared. So far this hasn't bothered us because the ambience is nice, we weren't expecting any culinary highlights and we just wanted to briefly recover from the stress of shopping in the outlet. Last week, however, we received by far the worst Viennese veal schnitzel we've ever had. The breading was far from crispy, let alone bubbling, as befits a real veal schnitzel. Unfortunately the breading was pale and greasy and still made up at least 50% of the volume. The schnitzel itself was very thin and was more reminiscent of carpaccio. Instead of complaining about it immediately, we were so stupid and ate it according to the motto “Hunger doesn't do it” - it's your own fault We will now take some time out, there are now other useful alternatives in the outlet.

3.5 stars. Here you pay for the very authentic and detailed ambience. It is very light-filled and cleanly designed. The toilets are clean and large. The food is a big drawback. The salad and the dressing are very tasty but unfortunately the schnitzel and everything around it was probably 100% “convenience food”. Sorry, but for the price I expect not only a perfect ambience, but also high-quality food to complete the authenticity of the restaurant. Logical: The outlet wants to give certain people a typically Bavarian "German" feeling, but anyone who has ever had authentic Bavarian or "Swabian" food knows that this remains a farce. The waitresses wear dirndls but don't have real waiter blood. The service itself was good, but it didn't have the friendliness of a real inn.

The ambience is beautiful and the service staff is incredibly friendly/accommodating, and the location is also very good. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed when it came to food and also with the selection, we once had the veal schnitzel and pork schnitzel. Both bathed in oil and very dry, the spaetzle were unfortunately very rubbery. At least the pancake soup was good and we were honest when the question came: “did it taste good?” Unfortunately we said no, unfortunately a lot was left behind on both plates. There was no answer to that except an astonishing look. To us it tasted extremely like frozen goods, which was a real shame for 78€, maybe we can improve this a bit.

Great ambience, great service, but bad food. The food was on the table less than 5 minutes after we ordered, even before the drinks. And that's exactly how it tasted. You should avoid the fried chicken salad if possible, because the chicken was not cross and was still slippery on the inside. In addition, the portions are very reasonable for the prices. Conclusion: suitable for a quick snack after shopping to get rid of the money you saved. Not suitable for a leisurely visit to a restaurant.

The service is nice and quick. The food is more of a matter of taste. My wife had potato rosti with salmon. This dish was okay. But my meal “veal goulash in mushroom cream sauce with spaetzle” was unfortunately not good. The spaetzle tasted almost like nothing and the sauce was very reminiscent of student days in the cafeteria. Therefore unfortunately 2 points deducted.

The six of us wanted to grab coffee cake! We called the waitress and were informed that we should/must order using a QR code! OK, looked at the app, a single cheesecake available, but inside the restaurant there are 3-4 different cakes to choose from! waitress told us how we should proceed in this case, she sent a colleague... Then we left 15 minutes later, no one came, and the other two ladies didn't want to or couldn't discover us, thanks for nothing 🙋🏽‍♂️

Nichts besonderes , früher waren diese Restaurants durch eine wahnsinnige Frische geprägt, heute aus meiner Sicht “Standard” Kantinenessen.

On my last visit to this restaurant I was greeted with a somewhat cold reception, which left an ambivalent impression. Nevertheless, the service was pleasant and the concept and recipes were very interesting. The quality of the dishes was undoubtedly good, and the restaurant was nicely decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, as is often the case, the prices are not moderate. Overall a satisfactory experience, but with a warning about the wallet.

The restaurant is located directly in the shopping area and is easy to reach. The ambience is really nice and the service was very nice. To eat: we ordered the Röstis with salmon and a salmon with it. Conclusion: it was really okay to good. With 2 x Röstis with salmon and a side salad, 2 x soft drinks and 2 x espressos we were over €50. Now “unfortunately” normal for the situation.

Wir waren an einem Mittwoch zum Mittagessen. Unter der Woche war nicht viel los. Haben einen sehr schönen Tisch am Fenster bekommen. Die Musik passt 100 % zu dem Motto von Almresi. Das Essen war wirklich lecker. Die cocktails und auch alles andere sehr liebevoll serviert. War ein tolles Geburtstagsmittagsessen. Wir kommen wieder.

It is now advisable to make a reservation here in order to get the most beautiful places. The service was again very friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Anyone traveling in Metzingen should definitely stop by here.

Wir waren das erste mal dort und kommen wieder. Es hat alles gepasst und war auch schön präsentiert. Der Kellner war aufmerksam und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Ich hatte ein paar Tage vorher reserviert und mir einen Platz am Fenster für 2 Personen gewünscht. Leider wurden diese Plätze nicht reserviert und ich denke nicht, dass alle Fensterplätze reserviert wurden. Da gibt es ja in der Summe einige. Auch waren wir pünktlich. Dann brauche ich auch keine Reservierung vornehmen geschweige denn einen Wunsch reinschreiben, wenn dieser ignoriert wird. Die Dame hat mein Wunsch gar nicht wahrgenommen aufgrund schlechter Deutschkenntnisse. Auch wurden wir am Ausgang( es standen 3 Mitarbeiter zusammen) nicht verabschiedet. Geht meiner Meinung nach nicht. Das Essen und der Service unserer Kellnerinnen war sehr gut.

Mitten in der City. Parkhaus (mit kostenlosen, sauberen Toiletten) ist 100 Meter entfernt. Schöne Aufmachung aber eher Kantinenlook. Unterschiedliche Stühle und Sessel. Im Sommer kann man auch draußen sitzen. Die fertigen Gerichte werden warmgehalten, sehen dementsprechend nicht sonderlich appetitlich aus (schrumpelige Champignons, eingetrockneter Schweinebraten). Der Kartoffelsalat schmeckte säuerlich umgekippt und der Käsekuchen wässrig. Viele Gerichte werden frisch zubereitet, was mit Wartezeit verbunden ist (da steht man dann irgendwie dumm rum mit seinem Teller/Tablett in der Hand und hat sich hoffentlich sonst noch nichts geholt, was dann kalt werden könnte). Hat mich optisch aber alles nicht überzeugt/angesprochen (Pizzaboden wurde gerade mal hauchdünn mit Tomatensauce bestrichen). Bis man alles fertig zusammengesucht hat und dann noch an die Kasse muss ist alles endgültig kalt. Auf unserem Tisch lagen Krümel. Während unseres Besuchs habe ich keinen Mitarbeiter mal Tische abwischen sehen.

Guten Tag, es war ein sehr leckeres Mittagessen! Auch für das Auge ! Das Brotzeitbrettl war toll hergerichtet. Die Reservierung für 3 Personen ging problemlos per Internet, auch fand ich es ganz gut. Nochmal an die Reservierung erinnert zu werden. Wir können es weiter empfehlen.

Ambiente und Service sehr gut, Essen leider nicht

Ein gemütliches Restaurant mit viel Holz und toller Deko. Wir sind im hinteren Drittel rechts gesessen. Dieser Bereich erscheint als "Stiefkind" und ist acu etwas dunkel- im Vergleich zum restlichen Restaurant. Es wäre toll, wenn dort auch so viel Liebe investiert werden würde. Service ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Essen wurde super schnell serviert und hat auch sehr lecker geschmeckt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.
