The food was incredibly delicious! The service was friendly. The atmosphere was fantastic! There's plenty of space around each table. We'd love to come back.

The place looks nice, but the food is unfortunately a complete disappointment, and the service is even more insulting when we give them feedback. I had white sausages here... they came in vegetable broth... 😳 The best part was the pretzel and mustard. The schnitzel and the side dishes are all frozen or ready-made. We won't be coming back.

Very good food, super friendly and quick staff and the ambience is unique!

Great location, and the cable car gondolas where you can eat are fun. The alpine concept is also well implemented. Service is standard (except for the dishwashing robot). The food, however, is pretty bad. Schnitzel from the deep fryer, the rest probably from a package, and my schnitzel tasted very unpleasantly of pork. The presentation was good, though. Budget around €20-30.

The ambiance was beautiful; everything was just right. The food was delicious, and we were all full. The food was visually stunning. The background music was subtle, and the service was excellent. We felt truly at home.

Fast service, good food, friendly staff!

We stopped here last Friday on our tour of OutletCity! We received a friendly welcome (one star for that). The selection is a bit different, as the name and the ambience suggests. We were expecting something hearty from the Alm! They offered me a schnitzel with potato salad or a choice of spaetzle. When I asked if I could have that with the fried potato wheels, they said no problem! But in the end, there was a separate item on the bill for more than €4. When I asked, yes, that was a separate order! But they said it was just a plate, and where was the side dish I paid for with the meal? It's become a bad practice these days to charge a fee for changing side dishes, or even to charge separately, as in this case, without any indication of it. Without the paid side dish, it borders on fraud!

We went here after shopping. We were told the kitchen would be closing in half an hour. We went anyway, and the food was truly excellent. It was delivered quickly and tasted fantastic! Nothing to complain about, friendly service.

We were there around 2 p.m. The staff was friendly and took our order quickly. Drinks and food arrived after a reasonable wait. Unfortunately, the food wasn't really hot—just warm enough to comfortably eat about half of the plate. The rest was cold. That was a shame, because the presented dish looked really appetizing. Given the location, the ambiance, the service, and the perceived quality, we had expected a reasonable price. However, the veal schnitzel, which cost just under €27, was surprisingly small. We're aware that veal schnitzel is one of the more expensive dishes—but we still felt the portion size was unjustified. The ambiance is truly perfect: Bavarian and very cozy, decorated in the style of an alpine hut. Overall, a lovely place, but the value for money, especially for the food, was disappointing.

After all the restaurants in the area were absolutely packed, we headed to this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance. The menu is rather tranquil. We had the Alm Pasta South Tyrol and the goulash. The food arrived at our table in 5 minutes. Unfortunately, it wasn't convincing for us. The pasta consisted of 50% arugula, topped with pasta and a dollop of pesto. Paying €16.90 for that...well, okay. The goulash with spaetzle was also nothing special and didn't seem particularly freshly prepared. Overall, the ingredients and preparation weren't high-quality, in our opinion. We wouldn't come again.

Unexpectedly good! For lovers of white meat - very tasty, beer is fresh. However, for those who strictly observe kosher, this may not be suitable. A great choice when shopping.

A high-quality chain restaurant. Nicely done, and the knuckle of pork is good too—you can't get any better at the Oktoberfest. I don't understand some of the reviews; it's Metzingen, and the concept fits well there.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is incredibly beautiful.👍🏼 It probably couldn't be better. The food could be better. The cheese fondue wasn't tasty at all. Kaiserschmarrn was good, but I've had better dishes at other restaurants. The meat and side dishes are okay, but not outstanding. The prices are rather high for the size of the dishes.

The staff was overwhelmed. The older staff was still a bit rude. We waited 20 minutes for a table, told that someone would be right there, but no one came. Too bad we moved on and had a delicious meal somewhere else.

Great place to eat a Snitzer at Outlet City in Metzingen, Germany.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food doesn't match the price. It's probably more aimed at the shopping mall crowd than at local restaurant patrons. For us, once and never again!

Mini schnitzel from the deep fryer, spaetzle from a packet, and tasteless sauce. For €20.90, it's quite a lot. It looks great, but the food is like something from a bad cafeteria at the price of a good restaurant. Once, never again.

Well, it's well decorated with old German wooden interior, especially the pillars. But it serves only simple food if you only look for a quick bite after whole afternoon shopping. I myself ordered veal but didn't know it's deep fried, which reminds me the Japanese style deep fried beef I had when In Tokyo. The veal itself tastes crispy outside and tender inside, served with meat sauce and berry jam, a little salty and a little sweet, some how nice.

The Almresi was a very good restaurant. We enjoyed every dish. The decor was very authentic, and we felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, the music inside was exactly the same as in the Outletcity, which made the atmosphere a bit less authentic. Nevertheless, a highly recommended restaurant!

Loved the food at Almresi Metzingen! The avocado toast was super fresh and tasty, the veg curry was packed with flavor, and the chicken salad hit the spot. Great vibes, friendly staff, and delicious food — definitely coming back!

This is by far the best restaurant in an outlet/shopping complex I've ever been to. You can eat here anytime, even if you're not shopping.

A desperate attempt to pack supposedly German tradition into a new industrial building. Well, Chinese outlet visitors will like it... The food is OK.

We visited Almresi for the first time today. The ambiance is really cute and cozy! The waitresses were friendly. Unfortunately, the food was rather average: The breaded pork schnitzel was quite good. Unfortunately, the spaetzle and the sauce were pre-made, which spoiled the overall experience. The rösti with salmon is ridiculously small for the price. The amount of salmon is fine, but two rösti are simply outrageous. There's no side salad. I would consider the entire dish too small even as an appetizer. But for €17.90, it's absolutely disappointing, and I would advise everyone against it!

What a wonderful restaurant in the heart of Metzingen. Very tastefully decorated. You can even buy beautiful alpine accessories at the entrance. Super friendly staff and excellent food. We'll be back.

Great restaurant with friendly service and good food. The value for money is good, and the portions are generous. Even with a dog, it's no problem; they even provide water for the dog.

Great ambience, well done and very tasty

We were at the restaurant on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. The Swiss Rösti with salmon I chose was disappointingly potato pancakes. The salmon was good, but there could have been a bit more of it. The accompanying horseradish sauce went very well with it. The price of €17.80 is reasonable.

For the outlet in Metzingen, good food with a great atmosphere and very good service.

We ordered schnitzel with spaetzle and the vegetarian curry. The schnitzel came from the deep fryer and the spaetzle from a packet. The curry was very good and went perfectly with the rösti. I ordered an Aperol Spritz with a little ice. Unfortunately, the glass was full of ice, and my aperitif tasted very watery. The ambiance is very nice, and the dishes are individually prepared. You probably pay extra for that here. I would have preferred regional beers on tap and Tyrolean delicacies. I can eat schnitzel anywhere. I only ordered the curry because it was the only dish without meat or wheat.

The ambience borders on Austrian but from my point of view it is more Bavarian or Alpine ;) That's why Alm is in the name, I guess:) Still very nice chairs, lamps etc with good design and tables with WOW! It's all very simple but luxurious in a way! The service is very nice because you are welcomed straight away and have enough time to choose something to eat and drink :|) But sometimes you just have to wait a bit at the entrance because there is a lot going on, but you can understand that once you've eaten there! The food comes to you beautifully prepared and warm. Well seasoned, rounds it off! There is also something for children.

A nice and cozy place with good food

We sat outside in the best weather and were able to place our order normally with the waiter. We ordered a salad plate and got the tastiest one we had ever eaten. The atmosphere is great. You have that typical holiday feeling. The service was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely come back. A big thank you to the team!

Extremely unfriendly and arrogant service! It takes away any desire to eat! We're happy to spend money on food, but with that reception, every cent is wasted! We left immediately after the unfriendly greeting. They should take a look at the restaurants abroad; it's a world of difference! Highly recommended!

We were spontaneously in Metzingen on Shrove Monday and were referred here on the recommendation of a Haribo employee. The two of us got a table straight away at around 2 p.m. The atmosphere is very pleasant, typically Austrian and rustic. The service was very friendly and the food came relatively quickly (about 15 minutes). The photo speaks for itself, it was super tasty. The portion was big enough and we were well full. At the end we shared an apple strudel, which was also very tasty. Prices are a bit high given the quality of the food, but perfectly fine. We would love to come back 🤗

Yesterday we had cheese fondue at this restaurant and it was simply delicious! The presentation was great and the taste unforgettable. The staff were very friendly and attentive - really first class service. The furnishings with lots of real wood are simply beautiful and create a cozy, authentic atmosphere. Absolutely recommended!

German thematic restaurant with matching decor and wait staff uniform. Have fondue in a gondola or enjoy a schnitzel sitting on cow hide covered bench or chairs. Suspended panaches and cow bells for light fixtures, it has a charming local ambience. Food was on par with the theme, with well loved fondue, bratwurst, pretzels, schnitzels and spatzels or potato salad. Most staff spoke English. Greeter was polite and welcoming but wait staff fell short of being pleasant - a pity. We’ve been a couple of times, attracted by the selection on the menu and its proximity to the outlet shops.

Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Is a restaurant with the charm of an alpine hut, but with modern furnishings. The staff has really nice dirndels and lederhosen. I can recommend the schnitzel with spaetzle, raisin berries and cream sauce, the cheese spaetzle and the Bailagen salad. It is busy at lunchtime, so make a reservation with more people if possible. With 4 people we still got a place. Many thanks to the whole team.

Had a reservation for today, drove an extra 30 km and in the end the shop was closed! I received a reservation confirmation by email! Very sobering! Since you have to/should make reservations everywhere these days, it wasn't that easy to find something. There is a lot of catching up to do with the Almresihompage reservation platform! It might not be possible to make a reservation on a day when the restaurant is closed! We had specifically looked for a location that had good reviews and the ambience looked appealing, but now we have a bad impression...

Ambiance of course very great. Service dressed appropriately for the Alm and also super friendly. Even though we arrived shortly before closing time. The pork schnitzel had a strong smell of pork. Okay, it's pork too, but it doesn't smell that strong otherwise. The cream sauce was a bit thin. This can definitely be done better. The salad with beetroot was good.

Was there for the first time and was absolutely not disappointed. From the ambience to the service, everything was great. The food was also more than great. I ordered the winter curry and what can I say? It was a taste bomb 👌👍 Reservations in advance would be an advantage if there is a lot going on. Won't be my last visit ☺️

The food was really delicious, I also had Glühwein and Apfel Strudel, both amazing. If you wanna try traditional German food, this is definitely the right spot . Service was also very good, helpful and quick.

Unfortunately, the food selection didn't really convince us. The menu is very small, which doesn't really bother us, but there wasn't really anything here for us. The service was okay but not very friendly either. The location is actually really nice but unfortunately you sit in many places in the passage without a room divider. We sat with our backs to the bar and the service staff were standing there the whole time. We also asked for another table but unfortunately it would have been the same. So unfortunately we didn't really feel comfortable.
