Auf der Terasse sehr gut gegessen bei perfektem Service. Bei bester Sicht auf Heilbronn ein tolles Erlebnis.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden und dann die herrliche Aussicht.

Mussten draußen lange warten bis jemand kam.

Die Aussicht auf Heilbronn ist sehr schön. Die Spargelcremesuppe und das Perlgraupenrisotto waren beide versalzen. Daher war der Preis für das Essen nicht gerechtfertigt. Sehr schade.

Ein fantastischer Ort und sehr leckeres Essen.

Wir waren hier essen , als wir bei unserer tageswanderung Rast gesucjt haben. Der ausblick sehr schön und das essen war sehr lecker.. es ist eine gehobene preisklasse. Meben an sind ein biergarten und der Wartbergturm zur besichtigung

Das Wartberg Restaurant & Café ist für viele ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel, deshalb ist es bei gutem Wetter häufig sehr stark frequentiert. Wir nutzen es gern für eine kurze Kaffeepause bei unseren ausgedehnten Spaziergängen durch die Weinberge. Die tolle Aussicht auf die Stadt und das ansprechende Kuchenangebot (laut Auskunft des Servicepersonals stammt dieses von der Bäckerei Hönnige aus Weinsberg) lassen uns immer wieder gern dort einkehren, auch wenn an gut besuchten Tagen das Servicepersonal oftmals an seine Grenzen gerät. Gut finden wir, dass auch entkoffeinierter Kaffee angeboten wird. Sehr lecker ist auch der Apfelstrudel von der Dessertkarte.

Bei einem Treffen mit 14 Personen mussten wir kürzlich 90 Minuten auf unser Essen warten. Wir hatten für 13:00 Uhr reserviert, das Essen kam aber erst um 14:20 Uhr. Rufen Sie am besten vorher an, um sich nach dem Andrang zu erkundigen. Eine Entschuldigung gab es nicht.

Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Besuch im Höhenrestaurant Wartberg. Die Aussicht über Heilbronn ist einfach traumhaft und macht das Erlebnis besonders. Das Essen war frisch und lecker, mit typisch schwäbischen Gerichten, und auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und entspannt, besonders auf der Terrasse mit Blick über die Stadt. Insgesamt ein tolles Ausflugsziel zum Essen und Genießen – ich komme gerne wieder! ✨

Krimi Dinner. War toll. Essen Service ebenso.

Das Essen dort war sehr lecker und ästhetisch angerichtet und ist zu empfehlen. Es gibt eine Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten. 🌱 Generell bietet das Restaurant unter anderem die klassische deutsche Küche, aber auch etwas ausgefallenere Gerichte. Aufgrund von Feierlichkeiten und einem vollbesetzten Restaurant mussten wir einige Zeit auf unsere Gerichte (auch Vorspeisen) warten und diese kamen zeitversetzt. Das war in Bezug auf den Service etwas schade. Die Bitte ein Gericht als take away mitzunehmen wurde zunächst abgelehnt, später aber dann doch ermöglicht.

Alles bestens, die Lage ist einen Besuch wert und das Panorama ist hervorragend.

Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Große Auswahl, darunter auch vegetarische Gerichte. Leckere Cocktails und köstliches Essen. Die fantastische Aussicht ist ein zusätzliches Plus.

Sehr schön gemacht und eher auf etwas edler. Freundliches und bemühten Personal. Die Aussicht ist bombastisch und es gibt auch einen kleinen Spielplatz. Leider kam die bestellte Sahnetorte erst auf erneute Nachfrage und schmeckte dann wie zu schnell aufgetaute TK Ware. Die Qualität war da dem Ambiente leider nicht angemessen.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Ambiente ist schön. Das Essen eher weniger.. die käsespätzle hatten nichts mit Käsespätzle zu tun. Das Risotto war total versalzen. Wiener Schnitzel war das Fleisch fatal. Preis-Leistung passt hier nicht ! Wir werden nicht mehr dort essen.

Schönes Ambiente, leckeres Essen, reelle Portionen. Unser Tisch wurde sogar freigehalten, während wir einen kleinen Spaziergang in der Umgebung gemacht haben! Nur zu empfehlen!

Köstliches, traditionelles deutsches Restaurant mit Blick auf Heilbronn vom Hügel aus und direkt neben einem historischen Turm, der zum Besteigen einlädt. Schweine- und Hirschfleisch waren hervorragend. Parkplätze sind vorhanden.

Was für ein spezieller Ort, hoch über Heilbronn, mit wunderbarem Ausblick und ebenso wunderbaren Speisen. Es stimmt (für uns) einfach alles...

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, freundliches zugewandtes Personal. Wir haben hier Geburtstag gefeiert. Alle unsere Gäste waren sehr zufrieden und voll des Lobes.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Hoch oben über Heilbronn. Super Aussicht auf die Stadt. Gut erreichbar. Essen sehr toll angerichtet und schmackhaft. Personal sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. An die Preise der Speisen muss man sich gewöhnen, aber es ist nun mal so. Immer ein Besuch wert. Es war der 2. Besuch hier. Danke.

Meine Schwiegereltern waren heute hier essen. Angeblich konnten keine Tische reserviert werden, denn sie wären gerne am Fenster gesessen. Dort war noch ein Tisch frei. Als meine Schwiegereltern diesen Tisch einnehmen wollten, hieß es dann auf einmal, man könne doch reservieren… Ohne Worte. Am Schluss wollten sie noch sechs Stück Kuchen mitnehmen, dies ginge auch nicht, weil angeblich nur Verzehr im Lokal. Nach 50 Jahren war es heute für meine Schwiegereltern das letzte Mal, dass sie zum Essen dort waren…

Also das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und es ist ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Allerdings waren wir mit dem Service heute leider nicht zufrieden. Mitarbeiterin wirkte genervt und lustlos, Geschirr war schmutzig, Getränk wurde vergessen und so lief es die meiste Zeit. Nicht ein Mal wurde gefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei. Wir teilten uns zu dritt ein Gericht für zwei Personen das es wirklich eine große Portion war und sogar noch etwas übrig geblieben ist. Für den extra leeren Teller für die dritte Person wurden 6€ berechnet? Das habe ich in meinem Leben noch nicht erlebt dass man für einen extra Teller zahlen muss, wurde uns auch nicht gesagt. Wir haben das alles auch abgesprochen aber war den Mitarbeiterinnen auch egal, und es kam nur ein „oh Entschuldigung“. Wirklich schade

Einfach toll und das Essen war phantastisch

Hervorragendes Weihnachtsessen kurz vor Weihnachten in diesem Restaurant gehabt. Einziges Manko: die Wartezeit auf das Essen war sehr lange. Da das Essen aber wirklich sehr gut war und der Service freundlich, vergebe ich dennoch 5 Sterne.

Wir hatten einen super Abend im Höhenrestaurant Wartberg! Die Aussicht ist einfach traumhaft und das Personal total freundlich und aufmerksam. Mein Zwiebelrostbraten war mit der leckeren Sauce perfekt auf den Punkt, dazu gab es einen richtig üppigen Beilagensalat und ein raffiniertes Dessert. Auch bei unseren Begleitern sah alles hervorragend aus und die Kinder waren restlos glücklich. Ein großes Lob an den Top-Koch – wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a fantastic evening at the Wartberg mountain restaurant! The view is simply breathtaking, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. My roast beef with onions was cooked to perfection with the delicious sauce, accompanied by a generous side salad and a sophisticated dessert. Everything looked wonderful for our companions as well, and the children were absolutely delighted. A huge compliment to the excellent chef – we'll definitely be back!

Speisen in hervorragender Qualität, mit Können und Liebe zubereitet, ein Genuss der von der Herrlichen Aussicht und dem sehr aufmerksamen Service Personal noch gekrönt wird. Gerne komme ich wieder. Freunde der Guten Küche kommen hier gewiß auf ihre Kosten.

Ein sehr leckeres Essen und ein freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, und das an Weihnachten, trotz hoher Auslastung, und auch nicht zum ersten Mal, sondern seit Jahren eine recht zuverlässige sehr positive Erfahrung. Immer wieder eine Freude. Dazu die schöne Lage mit Aussicht auf die ganze Stadt- was will man mehr. Vielleicht noch ein wenig mehr internes festliches Ambiente... trotzdem eine große Empfehlung.

Ambiente ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, das Essen ist sehr gut, einer der besten Rostbraten in Heilbronn...

The service was very attentive and friendly. The side salad was beautifully fresh, dressed with a touch of sweetness and a hint of tang, and there were several different types of salad. My roast beef with onions was cooked rare, just as I'd requested, and the onions were perfectly roasted. The Maultasche (a type of filled pasta) (for an extra charge) was also wonderfully flavorful. The speculoos mousse was phenomenal and highly recommended. Absolutely nothing to complain about :)

We spontaneously decided to go there with our family – two adults and children – on Sunday around 5 pm. We hadn't made a reservation, but we still got a table quickly. The service was friendly and the food was delicious! We'd gladly come back again.

A very good and beautiful restaurant; the food was excellent, but the service was a bit chaotic. The cake arrived, but the coffee didn't come until we'd almost finished the cake. It would make more sense to serve the drinks first and then the food. But that's something they can work on; only with good feedback can they make changes. The view of Heilbronn from up there is beautiful. We'd love to come back.

Good restaurant, baby friendly, nice waiters, has a parking lot and there is a cigarette machine.

This magical place is located at an altitude of 1,000 meters, I don't know. But there's a place to stroll through the forest, a barbecue area and a gazebo for a large group, a restaurant with delicious food, and a large FREE parking lot! The panorama is stunning, everything is at your fingertips. You can watch the sunrise and see it off. Beautiful 😍🔥

Nice place, but mostly for older people, I think. The food was good but not special. Prices were fine, we paid about 100 euros for 4 people. The tables in the bottom dining room are a bit too close together.

Was only on the mountain for the view, not in the restaurant

...the way the waitresses treated the guests was rude and did not reflect the style of the establishment.....couldn't even tell me what the daily specials were, so I went to check.

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch after exploring the vineyards below and the castle tower. It was a journey dedicated to my Dad!

We stopped in for two glasses of wine and a snack. We were very impressed! We've rarely seen such dedicated, friendly, and welcoming staff; a real highlight! A fine selection of local wines. The sausage salad is highly recommended; the fermented radishes in it are a dream!

We had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for our lunch. The service was so unfriendly, it made you think you were at an auction. On top of that, there was hardly any difference between the small and large portions, apart from the price.

Very nice restaurant with a wonderful view over the city of Heilbronn

First of all, a wonderful view! Top notch! The ambiance could be better, a bit sparse! But the location makes up for everything! The staff weren't particularly friendly, a bit rude, and seemed rather stressed, even though the seats weren't fully occupied!

An absolute disgrace! We sat in the restaurant with our small child for an hour and 20 minutes – and in that time, we didn't even get a glass of water, let alone any food. No service, no explanation, no apology. Simply ignorance. In the end, we left completely exasperated without a single drink or meal – without even the slightest apology from the staff. Even other guests were visibly outraged by the miserable treatment of guests. It's bad enough to make guests wait so long – but to completely ignore a family with a child and treat us as if we were nothing is the height of disrespect. This "restaurant" is a prime example of how to drive away customers: zero hospitality, zero organization, zero decency. We are angry, disappointed, and disgusted. Conclusion: Anyone who goes here has chosen their own disaster – never again!

I give Cosi 5 stars!!! We were there for dinner today and it was very busy. Cosi had everything under control and thought of everything, really great and I have a lot of respect for such a great employee! The food was excellent and so was the ambiance. We had to wait a few minutes for drinks at the end (because it was very busy). Highly recommended and we'd be happy to come back.

The restaurant has maintained its high standards for at least 30 years. That alone is worth recommending! A sophisticated restaurant, without the frills and frills that are rarely found these days. Excellent local cuisine with generous portions, and a beautiful view of the city. It's also busy at lunchtime during the week.

We held our wedding reception at the Wartberg Restaurant in Heilbronn. The restaurant's location is very beautiful, with a sweeping view of the city. The terrace was ideal for our celebration and was well-used by our guests. The buffet was very tasty and received many compliments. Unfortunately, it was cleared relatively early, even though guests still wanted to eat. The subsequent justification for this, citing hygiene requirements, is understandable, but prior consultation would have been preferable. One positive aspect is the flexibility in choosing the room: Since we had more guests than originally planned, we were given the main room instead of the Heilbronn Room. We were also able to bring our own decorations and music. The service was attentive, especially when ordering drinks. However, during the reception, a disagreement arose regarding the volume of our music. Although playing our own music was generally permitted, one waiter asked us to turn it down, while other staff members responded in the opposite direction. Additionally, the room was very warm due to the lack of air conditioning, which caused discomfort in summer temperatures. Overall, we had a successful celebration, although there are some areas where improvements are needed. The setting and the food were impressive, but there is room for improvement in the communication and facilities.

Had a great dinner here a couple months ago. Really nice view of the city, you can't beat it for views! Proper Schwäbisch restaurant as well, you won't be disappointed.

Good food, great view, beautiful surroundings in the middle of the vineyards; unfortunately, the service was a bit overwhelmed that day, and we had to wait a bit longer for our food, and then received parts of it very late, etc.

The beer garden is closed, for whatever reason, and there's no mention of it on the website. I cycled up for nothing...

Very good cuisine. High prices, but worth it

We visited the Wartberg mountain restaurant for the first time in several years. We spontaneously stopped by for dinner on a beautiful summer day. The food and drinks, along with the excellent and attentive service, were outstanding. We were able to enjoy a wonderful ambiance on the sun terrace with a view of Heilbronn. The overall package was truly perfect.

Very attentive staff, excellent food at reasonable prices. This won't be the last time I'm there.

You can enjoy yourself here. Tuesdays are probably a good day. Oh, Thursday is a day off. Whether for lunch, coffee, or dinner. In a wonderfully cozy and modern atmosphere. Whether inside or on the large covered terrace with a view over Heilbronn to the vineyards. Friendly service. We had coffee. Americano wasn't on the menu, but when I asked, they made it for me. There were also great cakes. The ice cream sundae and pizza also looked tempting. Thanks to the team.

Visit on May 2nd, 2025 for coffee and dinner. - Very nice restaurant with a terrace and sensational view over Heilbronn. The service was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The food was very good. The menu is very balanced: whether meat, fish or vegetarian - everyone should find something suitable. The weekly menu is also highly recommended. Prices are m.m. after very reasonable for the overall package of service and food. We (19 people) all felt very comfortable.

The best thing about everything is the view over Heilbronn

We've been here every year for years with grandpa and it's just really nice. Not only the view but also the loosely arranged tables in the restaurant are not too crowded, which also brings a certain level of peace and is not drowned in noise in any way... The menu and the service staff are always present and lovingly look after the little guests... Not to mention the food... simply super tasty and not overloaded that you have to roll down the hill 😅 As long as Grandpa is there we will be there every year...

We've been frequenting the Wartberg since 2003, and it was always delicious. After a break of several years, we finally made it back to the top and ate a Wartberg platter and enjoyed the view. Simply wonderful.

Home-style cooking with large portions; even for me, as a vegetarian, there was a selection of different dishes, and my omnivorous relatives were also made happy.
