We were here for the Crime & Dine event. The food was very upscale and everything was perfect. The waitresses were all very nice and polite, there is nothing to criticize!

Unfriendly staff and it takes a long time to be served. No eye contact with customers and if you want to ask something you get an unfriendly answer.

The restaurant impresses with an impressive view. The service was very good – attentive and friendly. However, the quality of the food left mixed impressions: the soup as a starter was unfortunately only lukewarm, which was disappointing. The main course (meat dish) had well-prepared meat but the Schupfnudeln were fried too crispy in places and therefore hard. The dessert, a soufflé, was excellent. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio does not reflect expectations. For the prices we all would have expected higher quality food. You get the impression that you're paying more for the view than for the food itself.

Beautiful ambience with a warm view. You can book a table here for a party or enjoy a spontaneous meal or coffee with cake. In the afternoon the selection of cakes is limited. Still, it tastes good. Staff seems a little overwhelmed and hectic. It was probably due to the many companies that celebrated their Christmas parties here.

After a long hike, we were well looked after and had various dishes (roast venison, favorite dish and the Wartbergplatte for 2 people). The food was very good, followed by the wonderful ambience. We didn't miss anything.

Great place with great view and food. We hiked in winter and there was fire. The food was also good, i found it little expensive compared to quantity. The parking lot is big behind restaurants. They also rent place for parties and wedding. The decoration of the rooms were very attractive

We were there with the family for Christmas dinner. Drinks came quite quickly, we had to wait an hour and a half for the food. And that with small children who were really hungry. An absurdity. The food was very good, the waitresses too few and just running , so hardly present. We would have liked to have ordered dessert, but it wasn't given to us because the people following the table were already at the door. A quick coffee was put on the table. We were really horrified. Great view, but food Overpriced and the customer is not 100 percent the king here. It's a shame. We won't be coming back. The points are only for the view and because the food was tasty.

A very nicely located restaurant with German cuisine. This time for Christmas I ordered roast goose with red cabbage, dumplings and chestnuts and brought it home because my husband was bedridden. Everything went well with the order, very friendly and well packaged in the Tupperware that we brought with us. Warmed it up again at home on the first holiday, everything was very tasty and a portion was enough for the two of us. Thank you so much that we had a lovely Christmas dinner. We were there with a larger group of 15 people to celebrate grandma's 90th birthday. Thanks to the long wait, we were able to celebrate our 91st birthday here too. The service was extremely unfriendly and we didn't feel welcome from the start. Despite arriving at the same time as other guests, we had to wait an incredible 2.5 hours for our food, while others had already left long after they had eaten. The price-performance ratio was absolutely not justified - far too expensive for a meal that tasted "okay" at best. Overall, a disappointing experience that we definitely cannot recommend.

The food was very tasty but I didn't think the prices were right. The plate wasn't decorated at all so it wasn't appealing at all. The temperature in the restaurant wasn't really inviting either. Getting a drink was a matter of luck, whether the waiter was available.

We were there for lunch at 3 p.m. today, my husband had schnitzel, the crust was dachy, it had nothing to do with a schnitzel and he had a hair in his plate, I wouldn't have eaten any more. I had the main dish, the only thing that was hot was the meat, Schupfnudeln Spätzle were lukewarm and Maultaschen was almost cold. I complained that Maultaschen came new which was a bit warmer but if you pay 28 euros you should get a hot meal, without words .

Sat outside in the outdoor area after a hike in October and enjoyed our cake and coffee. Very tasty and very friendly staff.

We meet once a year to celebrate the engineering qualifications we acquired in 1970. The surroundings between the vineyards are very beautiful and the view of Heilbronn is also worth seeing. I

It doesn't get any better. First of all, the ambience and the view are of course fantastic. The restaurant is absolutely top class. As soon as you enter, you can expect elegant, attentive service. A large selection of wines offers a suitable wine for everyone. The starters are a feast for the palate, but the main courses are to die for. The onion roast was simply prepared to perfection, and the meat was so tender that it could be cut like butter. The sauce that went with it was culinary art at its finest, very good and aromatic. The desserts are also excellent and round off the very good impression. The food here is worth every euro as the chef seems to love his work.

The food was great, service too. 😊 It's just a shame that when you enter the building, the smell of the toilet is the first thing you notice...

We were greeted warmly, shown to the terrace and served courteously (without having made a reservation) a rarity these days. The view from above, the beautiful weather, the delicious food... a well-kept atmosphere, what more could you want...

We were there on a quick Sunday because we wanted to go to the cinema. The service employee took note of this, quickly took the order and served drinks and food quickly. But she never came and didn't come to collect. Really annoying. Even the owner would have to look for the colleague. It took almost 10 minutes because the colleague was on a private phone call. Too bad Food was good: Maultaschen melted with potato salad and dumplings filled with chanterelles. All in all 4 stars because the food and ambience were good, service could have been good.

View over Heilbronn and good food - what more could you want

We wanted to take photos on the Wartberg and were unfortunately chased away by an employee in a very unfriendly tone. Although we wanted to have a drink afterwards.

Staff very unfriendly. We just wanted to shoot in the parking lot that belongs to the restaurant. An employee spoke to us very harshly and sent us off the pitch. My family and I were very surprised. Very “nose up” mentality.

Schönes Ambiente, jedoch hat die Bestellung 1 Stunde gedauert bis sie da war. Bedienung war sehr freundlich, jedoch mit Luft nach oben beim notieren der Bestellung ( es wurde einmal nachgefragt was es denn war bei uns??) Schnitzel mit Pommes war gut und schnell geliefert. Das vegetarische Essen war auch gut. Sauerbraten musste vermutlich erst Auftauen,daher die lange Wartezeit. Die Spätzle ( Fertigware) waren als Geschmackssache einzustufen. Käsespätzle mit 0:8:15 fertig Röstzwiebeln lieblos garniert War so 50/50 Sache eben.

The ambience is nice, the food is okay (but not appropriate for the price), the service is unfortunately bad: starters came before drinks, food wasn't cleared away, soup didn't come, a main course came way too late, etc. Overall, unfortunately not recommended.

The food is very tasty and freshly prepared, very friendly and accommodating even for small children, but the ambience, especially on the terrace, could be much nicer and the service more attentive. Otherwise, a very chic restaurant above Heilbronn! Price/performance okay for the quality.

There is now security who ensures that you park within the marked parking spaces. Unfortunately, they are so narrow that it is almost impossible to get out. The security staff's announcements are sometimes more reminiscent of bouncers at a disco than at an upscale restaurant with predominantly older guests.

Wir waren in einer großen Gruppen auf dem Wartberg essen. Das Essen hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war freundlich, zuvorkommend und sind auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen. Leider hat es relativ lange gedauert bis wir unser Essen bekommen haben.

Excellent upscale bourgeois cuisine. No artificial sauces or convenience. Great favorite dish and incredibly good roast venison. A little more expensive in price but completely justified. And the view over Heilbronn is free and incredibly beautiful.

The restaurant is located in a picturesque location. We were seated at the window where we had a wonderful view of the city. The cheesecake and cream cake were delicious with minimal added sugar.

We were thrilled with the delicious sauerbraten (the sauce was exactly my taste), our favorite dish and the roast goose. Very friendly and attentive service. We will be back.

A wonderful restaurant on the outskirts of Heilbronn. The view over the city is great and is guaranteed to invite you to take great walks even in summer. We were given a table in a separate area, which we welcomed to spend a romantic evening for two. But larger rooms are also available for celebrations or events. The facility is modern, clean and well maintained. The service is courteous and very friendly. Extra requests were also warmly welcomed and fulfilled. The food was excellent and we couldn't fault it from starter to dessert. The quality is definitely upscale compared to other restaurants in the area. Due to the time of year, the beer garden was of course closed. But we are looking forward to another visit to the Wartberg mountain restaurant when the weather is better and, above all, warmer. Recommended without reservation! We will be back.

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant mit fantastischem Blick auf die Stadt Heilbronn. Ein Besuch im Sommer auf der Terrasse werden wir uns nicht entgehen lassen. Die Speisen waren wohlschmeckend und von der Portionsgrösse stimmig. Ich hatte den ofenfrischen Gänsebraten gewählt, leider nicht ofenfrisch aber trotzdem noch lecker. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Sehr guter Service. Und diese Liebe Kellnerin muss ich wirklich loben! Sie war sehr freundlich und sehr höflich. Brachte meinem Hund ebenso etwas zu trinken. Das essen war so köstlich das ich erneut kommen werde. Allein für diese Kellnerin:)

Wir (1 Erwachsener und drei Kinder, 8-13 Jahre) waren spontan zwischen den Tagen am Abend dort essen. Vorher telefonisch nachgefragt und wir durften kommen. Bekamen schnell einen Platz und auch Speisekarten. Bis zur Bestellaufgabe mussten wir ca 15 Minuten warten. Das Essen kam dann aber recht schnell, wofür ich sehr dankbar war. Beim Bezahlen mussten wir dann wieder recht lang warten, was die Bedienung selbst anmerkte. Zum Essen: Wir hatten einmal das Kindergericht, eine Petersilienwurzelsuppe im Glas, zwei panierte Schnitzel mit Pommes und einmal die Kürbisrösti. Für meinen Sohn (12) waren zwei Schnitzel zu viel. Da, finde ich, könnte man eine halbe Portion anbieten, wenn ein Kind das bestellt. Er hat dann die Schnitzel verdrückt, weil sie soooo lecker waren, und die Pommes blieben liegen. Schade ums Essen und ums Geld. Die Suppe im Glas ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und sieht nach wenig aus, war aber sehr lecker. Die Kürbisrösti mit Gemüse (Möhren, Pastinake, Lauch?) und einer Soße (mit Merettich?) waren auch super. Ja, es ist dort ein bisschen teurer, aber für diese Qualität lohnt es sich. Es ist vielleicht etwas altbacken, wie manche hier anmerken, aber ich finde, genau das macht den Charme dieses Restaurants aus. Vor vielen Jahren waren wir hier nach der standesamtlichen Trauung zum Feiern und ich komme gerne an diesen schönen Ort zurück.

Wir waren dort zum Krimi Dinner, das Essen und die Atmosphäre waren super, genau so wie die Aussicht über das nächtliche Heilbronn (wobei diese von dem Sitzplatz abhängig ist) .

Essen super gut uns für diese Klasse sehr günstig Ambiente ist auch klasse der Service ist leider etwas verplant

Schöner Ausblick. Turm kann täglich während der Restaurantöffnungszeiten ab etwa 11 Uhr besichtigt werden.

Wie waren am WE zu einem Familienessen mit Mittagstisch und anschließend Kaffee auf dem „sogenannten“ Höhenrestaurant Wartberg. Es fing damit an, dass es zwar genügend Getränkeauswahl an alkoholischen Getränken gibt, jedoch bei Säften „sehr“ zu wünschen übriglässt. Auch wird hier leider nur Pepsi zu Preisen von Cola ausgeschenkt. Man könnte eigentlich die Marke Cola in einem solchen Höhenrestaurant für diese Preise erwarten. Bei der Essensbestellung wurde doch eine Person vom Kellner glatt vergessen. Hätte diese sich nicht gemeldet, wäre sie hungrig sitzen geblieben, doch es geht noch weiter… Nachmittags beim Kaffee vergaß man (wieder) eine Tasse Kaffee. Diese wurde reklamiert, kam dann auch umgehend mit einer Entschuldigung der Bedienung für die Person die man (wieder) vergessen hatte. Knapp eine Stunde später, brachte man nochmals eine Tasse Kaffee mit der Äußerung, die würde bei uns am Tisch wohl noch fehlen. Hallo, was ist den dass für ein durcheinander? Bei der Servierung von Torte und Kuchen, ist auch noch Luft nach oben. Es kann nicht sein, das ein Stück Apfelkuchen wie drauf geklatscht, auf dem Kuchenteller liegt und ein Stück Torte einem so serviert wird, wo die Torte seitlich eingedrückt ist. Man hat deutlich sehen können, dass hier etwas drauf gefallen sein muss. Bei den Preisen kann man wohl etwas anderes erwarten. Ein Stück Torte € 4,20, ho ho, kann ich da nur sagen! Alles in allem, war es für uns eine enttäuschende Familienfeier, wo die Mehrheit von uns sagte: Nochmals? Nein danke! Es war nicht unsere erste Feier, aber wohl letzte Feier in diesem Restaurant. Preise hoch oben angesiedelt, Qualität und Service unzureichend, um es etwas milde auszudrücken. Im übrigen sollte die Internetseite, mit einem UPDATE versehen werden, denn inzwischen stimmen die Öffnungszeiten und 7 Tage geöffnet nicht mehr mit den vorhandenen Öffnungen überein.

Wir hatten reserviert und einen schönen Platz am Fenster erhalten. Der Service war sehr ungezwungen freundlich und das Essen schmeckte lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Top Empfehlung - gehobene Küche mit unglaublich freundlichen Mitarbeitenden. Sonntag Mittag bis auf den letzten Platz belegt, trotzdem schneller und zügiger Service. Alle Speisen super frisch und lecker . Wild ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Ausblick ist sensationell. Gerne wieder !

Das Restaurant und die Küche ist super

Hervorragend schwäbisches Essen bester Qualität und Zubereitung. Aufmerksamer Service. Je nachdem wo man sitzt bekommt man einen überragenden Ausblick auf die Stadt Heilbronn

Habe nur Café getrunken. Nette Bedienung, guter Geschmack, tolle Aussicht. Auch der gleichnamige Aussichtsturm kann leicht bestiegen werden und bietet ein 360 Grad Panorama

Der Service, das Personal, die Aussicht verdienen die 5 Sterne, sowie das Essen. Man kann sich absolut nicht beschweren. Die Aussicht zur Abenddämmerung war dann der krönende Abschluss. Besser hätte man den Aufenthalt nicht beenden können! Definitiv eine Weiterempfehlung wo man gerne etwas mehr zahlt.

Sehr tolles Essen. Nette Bedienung. Wir waren zweimal sehr zufrieden dort. Mit dem Wohnmobil durften wir nach , Nachfrage über Nacht stehenbleiben.

Sehr leckeres Essen, große Portionen. Der Service und das Ambiente waren top. Den Punktabzug gab es nur wegen der Preise. Die sind doch im oberen Segment. Das kann man sich nicht oft leisten.
