Lehners Wirtshaus Heilbronn in Heilbronn

Today I had dinner here on September 18th, 2023 evening with my son and friends. And it was really bad. 1. It takes 30 minutes for service to arrive, even though it feels like 50 people work there. So for ass 2. Today there was tomato cream soup, but it tasted like paprika or chilli sin crane or something. 3. I ordered a VEGETARIAN BURGER... and after 5 minutes the waiter said it was a normal burger, as a vegetarian and a restaurateur (chef) myself, I just have to say that something like that is just embarrassing and really annoying. In my opinion, it was really bad! The service is totally overwhelmed! There are about 15 waitresses running around and no one has a plan or idea. Then I wanted to speak to the service line but no one came. I'm a restaurateur myself and I've never experienced anything like that. I worked here myself 12 years ago and it wasn't like that. The boss should think about it. Absolute disaster. Editing: The team leader came and was very insightful and nice. Nevertheless, you should look for it. And there was another round for free.

The food looked good, but the taste was more reminiscent of a hardware store snack. The waitresses were massively understaffed and had no chance of fulfilling the orders. I would rather try another place before I go here again.

The food is really good. However, the prices are just outrageous. Elsewhere you can get two schnitzels and a larger portion of spaetzle for the same price. Here it was only a half-sized schnitzel. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed and was unfriendly. Some of us didn't have the opportunity to order anything at all and got their drinks when we got our food. Waiters shout and are rude. We were there with exchange students. When they wanted to order in English, the waiter was tired of it and came to us Germans, took our order and then countered again. When I had finished eating, an unfriendly colleague of his took our French order. Nice facility but looks loud. I was there last time. I'd rather go to Drauz Besen or Ratskeller.

Large but still solid inn that has been around for years and has often offered ups and downs, currently a down :)

Everything is great but unfortunately it is almost always way too loud.

Frozen schnitzel for just under €20 - value for money is not right here at all

Great restaurant, delicious food, also great with children as there is a large play area. The beer didn't completely blow me away, but I'm really not a reference 😁

The beer, Wulle 0.33, today 11/10/24, expired on 03/20/24. Almost eight months later. Complained and the second one too. The third will then be valid until March 25, 2025. This shouldn't happen, I was horrified. Take a close look at the date here!!!

Reservierung des Tisches mit Sonderwünschen hat super geklappt. Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam schnelle Bewirtung. Leider ist manches Essen nicht so gut. Das Rindfleisch beim Tafelspitz war einfach nur sehr trocken. Die käsespätzle zu weich und der Flammkuchen kam leider kalt. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Die hausgemachten Limonaden sind wirklich sehr gut.

Uns wurde ein sehr dunkler Tisch zugeteilt, den wir aber gegen einen direkt an der Spielecke tauschen konnten.

Tisch war wie gewünscht reserviert, die Servicekräfte waren alle freundlich und schnell. Das Essen wurdec schnell an den Tisch gebracht und Sonderwünsche erfüllt. Gerne wieder

The service at Lehners Wirtshaus was generally friendly, but the team leader “Lays” was extremely rude and showed little respect in his dealings with the guests. His behavior had a negative impact on the entire mood and greatly spoiled our visit. Based on this experience, we will consider visiting the inn again in the future. It's a shame, because the rest of the service was actually great.

Apple strudel didn't taste good. Lots of dough, no apples, no raisins. Applesauce is inside with two wafer-thin, small, transparent slices, sticky between many layers of dough.

The staff was very friendly, it's nice to sit there, the food is good, portions are okay. Large map, everyone can find something there. One point deducted for the general pricing, a bit too expensive.

Food was great. The Waitress Diana gave us very good advice and was super cool.

The food is really a bit shabby for the prices. Frozen goods without much effort. Mostly just warmed up or pre-cooked with cheap ingredients. Does not legitimize the prices in any way. Usually the food is not hot at the table. Organization is usually a bit uncoordinated in the entire process. Today there was a whole line of people waiting and at the bar and all the staff who were running back and forth just turned their face around for 10 minutes and didn't react. Customer service would be - I see a need and feel responsible for it, regardless of whether it's a part of the moment or not... And don't make a face like I hate my guests. Cocktail prices are very high for little rotation and a lot of ice in the glass... you can really only go out for a drink to roll the dice on Mondays. It's a shame... There are much better stores in Heilbronx.

Delicious food. I had the Wirtshaus Schnitzel. Very good meat and the potatoes were really tasty.

Service was friendly and quick, no long waiting times despite the restaurant being well filled. Salad was good, schnitzel is unfortunately just a better frozen schnitzel and the Kaiserschmarrn tastes almost exclusively of clarified butter or something similar. Price-performance ratio is therefore not suitable. Recommended for going out for a drink in the evening, but not so much for eating.

The inn is hearty and attractive. A nice place where young and old like to meet for a lively conversation with friends. The food is adapted to the name of the inn and is served with a lot of love by really nice and courteous staff. Yes, the food is very good and you can say an all-round good concept for social evenings. Small point, yes it is a little noisy in this two-story restaurant. But it's cool to sit. I would love to come back to the lively 😎 inn

War etwas kalt, viele saßen in Jacken, deine kalte Zugluft war sehr spürbar über die ganze untere Etage. Das war das einzige was nicht so schön war, ansonsten alles top! Großes Lob an die Küche. Mega lecker!

Mega cool location Was there for dinner and a beer. All the waitresses were friendly, even though there was a lot going on. And €18 for a large Wirtshaus schnitzel with Wirtshaus fries is great, great quality and delicious.

Great location Food very good. Overall, the kitchen and staff were really on point... I was there with a group of around 30 people We were served by a young lady named Leo: attentive, friendly, quick. Top! In no time the drinks and shortly afterwards the food were on the table. Cocktails at reasonable prices on Mondays...so the hut was really full...

Käsespätzle tested really bad. They used some white sauce instead of cheese

Food was ok, but nothing more. The potato salad wasn't to my taste and my companion's cheese spaetzle had cheese in it that didn't lose anything in terms of taste - but fortunately it wasn't my dish. It was very drafty and cold every time someone went in or out - extremely natural when a group of over 20 came in at a snail's pace. You could hear the group very loudly the whole time, even though they were sitting in a completely different corner. Not worth a second visit for me. I used to be much more enthusiastic about Lehners in Pforzheim!

The food and service is always very good. There is even vegan food and a large selection of drinks. In terms of price it is a bit more expensive but worth the money. Nice restaurant in Heilbronn am Neckar. Particularly nice to sit outside in summer.

The prices are outrageously high for what you get. The Wiener Schnitzel was quite small and neither prompt nor of good quality. In general, the prices for drinks are also overpriced. Here you actually only pay for the location.

The restaurant is known for German cuisine and does it quite well. The prices are slightly higher but there is nothing wrong with that.

Lehners is ok to go for a drink, but I wouldn't recommend eating. The prices are very expensive (33 euros for a roast that isn't much). 17 euros for 2 small pieces of crusty roast with 2 small dumplings. 15 euros for 2 Maultaschen with a little potato salad. Unfortunately, the prices do not correspond to the taste or the portion size. That's why I wouldn't call it a tavern... More for people who don't want to go to real taverns because they find it too quaint.

I wanted to avoid the traffic jam and ordered a schnitzel with cream sauce. Unfortunately, the food arrived so quickly that I had to sit in traffic again. Even the very friendly service was of no use and staying longer. It was very crowded but there was still time for one or two conversations. The guest is in the foreground and not the business. Good this way! Stay like that!

the vegan schnitzel was ok. The grilled vegetables too. The potato salad tastes like it comes from the supermarket (although the one in the supermarket tastes better than this one.) You can see and taste that the food is not homemade. Quite high prices for that. Wouldn't go there again.

Nice place with good german foods available. Not asthonishing but certainly of good quality. Some difficulties on communication. Plenty of space both on the terrace and inside. Clean and nice toilets. Good location in a beautiful central location. Can recommend and would visit again.

Was there for a cocktail evening. After I ordered food at the same time as my friends, I had to wait 35-40 minutes for my fries, while the others' food came after about 15-20 minutes. When I asked again, I received this, but without mayo. Afterwards, unfortunately, exactly the same thing happened with my cocktail, which was brought to me after about 30 minutes and two requests (all other drinks were there and almost empty again). Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the taste of my drink either. I've been coming to Lehners for almost 3 years now, but unfortunately the experience disappointed me.

Food quite good but nothing special. Just home cooking... Service a bit confused, very young and partly inexperienced people who are also a bit unfriendly, which is just not possible! I think the prices are quite high. The table was dirty and the young waiter only cleaned it after being asked. Most of the tables would have liked to have been cleaned!!! The first visit is enough for me, there are plenty of other restaurants that offer very good service.

How to do everything right as a restaurant and get 5 stars, a few streets away there is the Pizzeria Romana, maybe stop by there and have a delicious meal. Feel free to check it out, I gave it 5 stars in everything, so much so that it's not constructive. SO WHO IS ASSUMING SOMETHING TO WHOM HERE? Are my reviews unobjective or simply direct and honest? Could I come by unannounced and we can take a look at what products you use and how you cook? I'm happy to be ready and curious to see whether there are still allegations! Then I'm happy to change it if you improve. The generous portions are a joke, right? Value for money is simply not right, period. How about accepting criticism and improving it. If you wanted to keep your exorbitant prices, then improve the quality and taste and fill your plate instead of maximizing profits. There were 9 of us with you and there were also petite girls there, strangely enough the portions weren't enough for everyone and the prices were really cheeky, so I'm writing on behalf of the whole group, otherwise there would be 8 more 1 star reviews, apart from that Nobody liked it. I would like to see for myself about the Maggi etc. and glutamate, I would also like to come by the kitchen. Or. It doesn't matter what you use, it just doesn't taste good and that's the most important thing, how you do it doesn't matter. The fact that 80% of my reviews are negative is true, UNFORTUNATELY I wish I could ONLY give POSTIVE reviews, then I would be able to go out for a good meal without worrying and wouldn't go out dissatisfied and with a bad feeling plus throwing money out the window like yesterday... - it's logical if you want to negatively, it's better to be positive and everyone gets something out of it - unfortunately I can't do that with you, or rather you in lehners particularly caught my eye, you shot the bird! --- Never eaten so expensive and so bad! I can't help but stay economical, because what you're putting on your plate is absolute rip-off usury. The sauces are made by Maggi or rather by the Knorr around the corner. Everything is children's portions, tastes so bad 0815 Maggi and then for such mini portions dishes between 15-35 €, that's fraud. The portion size of the schnitzel is the only thing that is just ok. If it tasted good and if you had a clever cook and high quality ingredients, I wouldn't have said anything against the fact that you hardly have anything on your plate, but it's a disgrace the quality you get.. Cantine tastes better.. This place is on my absolute black list. The only plus point, nice restaurant, nice to sit outside.
