A very nice restaurant with a beer garden just a few meters from the Neckar River and the outdoor promenade. Plenty of space inside, even for larger groups. A good selection of food and drinks.

Poor service. In my opinion, the waitress was overwhelmed, even though not all the tables were occupied. We had trouble placing an order. The food was good. Unfortunately, the espresso at the end was only lukewarm when it was served.

Super delicious food. Super kid-friendly with a large and nice play area. We were seated right next to it with the kids. The play area is also set up so that other guests aren't disturbed. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and quick. We'd be happy to return.

Actually a cool place. But cocktails to go in 300ml cups, half filled with ice, for €12... I don't know.

Unfortunately disappointing: For four very tall people, a low, narrow table right next to the outside door. A strong draft blew every time the door opened. I had a so-called baked potato. Unfortunately, a total disappointment: floury, uncut quark and a salad with no dressing. The lettuce leaves were barely chopped. Unfortunately, the wine didn't match the description on the menu in any way we could see. It was also quite loud. Overall, unfortunately, disappointing.

Located on the Neckar River, nice ambiance, excellent service! The food, roast beef (tough, gristly, and dry) with grilled vegetables (some kohlrabi, two slices of bell pepper, and a spear of green asparagus) and fried potatoes (half a potato), was borderline, and the price wasn't reasonable.

I asked a question via Instagram, and even though it was outside of opening hours, I received a response within 10 minutes. Two hours later, we were already sitting in the restaurant! Now that's what I call real service! The food was excellent, and the service was super friendly. The food, including the appetizers, arrived within 15 minutes. The only minor disappointment was the coleslaw, which tasted a bit bland, but this was more than compensated for by the excellent service. The location is also a highlight. We'd definitely come back!

We were there as a large group of 25 people. The staff was very friendly and, what's not a given these days, experienced and professional 👌👍, something I've rarely experienced in recent years. The food was excellent, and despite the large group, everyone received their orders almost simultaneously. The terrace was great, similar to a beer garden. A huge pork shank... well cooked, but obviously pre-cooked... youthful atmosphere where you can also have an aperitif... friendly and kind staff...

Everyone here really conveyed what it means to be a host: delicious food, a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, pleasant and welcoming conversations... and the feeling of not just being one of many guests... It's a shame you're not just around the corner... I'll definitely drive to Heilbronn one or two times in the future just to enjoy a really delicious meal at Lehner's. Thank you! The waiter, Ari, was a pleasant and accommodating host. The Höpfner Kräuser beer was delicious and perfect for a sunny day. And the specials exceeded my and my colleagues' expectations. We'd be happy to return :)

We went for dinner with a group. Everything was delicious, the service was prompt and very friendly... The only thing was that the temperature upstairs could have been a bit cooler, but it was later adjusted. Thank you for the friendly service!

The pork knuckle is highly recommended. However, you'd have to be really hungry to finish it 😉. The meat came off the bone easily and was juicy throughout. The crust was also fantastic. The dumplings and sauce were also delicious. Service was also excellent. If we're ever in Heilbronn again, we'll be back.

This is my second time in Heilbronn and I've eaten here twice. The value for money is good, the setting is beautiful by the river, the staff is friendly, and the food was delicious both times. 5 out of 5 I'd love to come back.

We were there on Saturday evening with 11 people and had made a reservation online. We had a nice place on the upper floor. The service was very friendly, the food came quickly. I have to admire the wait staff who have to lug the food and drinks upstairs. It was a very nice evening, even though the whole place was full.

Third time at Lehner's Wirtshaus in Heilbronn and had a fantastic experience! The traditional German plates were delicious, and the beer selection was impressive. Although it was a bit noisy, the friendly atmosphere and excellent service made up for it. The staff were attentive and seemed genuinely happy to see us enjoying our meals. The perfect spot for a casual outing with friends or colleagues, thanks to its lively bar and scenic riverside terrace. Highly recommend ed – I'll definitely be back!

I don't understand the reviews. Firstly, the conditions were not qualified, you had to address them yourself, they didn't notice you at all. On the other hand: who mixes these drinks? I've never had such a bad cocktail😅 I hope that was day dependent.

After two years, I finally found delicious and authentic German pork knuckles, and they were served very quickly.

Were there for dinner with children. A nice restaurant, clean, nice, attentive, friendly service. Food also came very quickly. Unfortunately, the food was delicious but only lukewarm when it arrived. One point deducted for that. The best part was definitely the play corner for children, our little one had so much fun. Others can take a look at that. Another point of criticism, changing table only in the women's toilet. Either one for both or neutral. It will be very difficult for a man alone with a child. ;)

The food and the homemade lemonade were excellent, the service friendly and attentive. Plus very short waiting times. We stayed here twice during a family trip. Absolutely recommended, especially for families because of the large play area.

Had lunch with a friend. I can only warmly recommend the pork knuckle. The restaurant shines with its very bright and friendly atmosphere. Good food and very friendly service were the basis for a successful stay. Another visit is definitely planned. I have a suggestion for the operator: It would make sense to appoint a building representative to correct minor deficiencies - the handle on the entrance door was a bit loose, great toilet facilities but with loose taps.

Lehner’s in Heilbronn is convincing across the board! The ambience is beautiful, whether for a relaxed meal or a social evening. Particularly noteworthy are the extremely friendly and attentive staff, who make your stay even more pleasant. Even when there was a slight delay in making the reservation and the table wasn't yet free, the problem was solved very professionally and quickly - absolutely exemplary service! The prices are a little higher, so you should take that into account when visiting. However, there is no star deduction for this because the quality and service are simply convincing. Conclusion: A great restaurant with first-class service and a feel-good atmosphere.

Very tasty food, and even though it was quite busy, the service was quick and friendly. The homemade juices (blueberry) are also delicious. 😋 Please keep up the good work. We'll definitely come back when we're back in Heilbronn.

Beautiful, bright and well thought-out restaurant with a particularly family-friendly atmosphere. The large play area is a real highlight for families, and you can generally tell that a lot of value is placed on the guests here. The service is warm, attentive and committed; you can feel that the employees enjoy what they do. Overall, the food was mixed: While the Wirtshaus-Schnitzel was really great and the children really enjoyed it, the Zurich-style Geschnetzelte was rather average and not particularly exciting. The salads were fresh and tasty, but the dessert (apple strudel with vanilla sauce) was disappointing and neither visually nor taste-convincing. Despite minor weaknesses in the food, the overall price-performance ratio is okay. An extra star for the great hospitality and customer-oriented concept!

Our visit to the Lehrers Wirtshaus was very nice. It is very large with many different nooks and crannies. For example, there is a small children's paradise under a large staircase. The seats directly next to it are perfect for families as it is usually more restless there because of the kids, but this means you can have a direct overview of the kids. The service staff who served us are very well trained, friendly, competent and have a good understanding.

We were 18 people. Food came at the same time and very quickly. TOP service, we made reservations again for Friday. Can other restaurants learn a lesson... 5 stars

The house was very fully booked. We were able to eat at a “lounge” table. Service was good. Food was good. And we were surprised at the large number of people who would like to eat here.

Just sat at the window at the entrance for 10 minutes...were placed there. Just walk into Sausalitos and at least you'll be served. Too bad...

A very nicely designed restaurant, very stylishly decorated. The food was very good and tasty. The waiters polite and attentive.

Food and service were good. What I found outstanding was the way the staff dealt with a severely disabled guest in a wheelchair. This was treated very lovingly. Although the restaurant was very busy, the staff found time to help him drink by occasionally holding a glass with a straw to his mouth. I learned that he was probably a regular guest and that he came for a drink almost every day. I think it's an exemplary achievement that people who are really unwell are included as a matter of course and are lovingly cared for. High praise, I have never experienced this in any other restaurant!

The Lehners Wirtshaus is a beautifully located restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and a great view. The price for the dishes is absolutely reasonable and within the usual range for a pub of this type. Unfortunately, the taste of the food didn't convince me. I had the lentils with spaetzle because I was looking forward to a typical Swabian dish. Unfortunately, the lentils were very blandly seasoned and did not provide the taste that you would expect from a traditional preparation. The spaetzle was also rather boring and seemed like it wasn't homemade. I would have expected it differently in a tavern with Swabian dishes. The salad with chicken wasn't really convincing either. The chicken was also rather tasteless, as if spices had been deliberately avoided. Maybe that's intentional, but for me it was rather disappointing. What should be highlighted positively, however, is the view, which is really beautiful. Especially in summer it is pleasant to sit here and enjoy the view. Overall, my visit was unfortunately just average because the food didn't live up to expectations. If you're looking for a nice location, this is the right place, but there's room for improvement in terms of taste.

By chance we decided to spend the evening with friends in this restaurant. At the beginning we were shown directly to our reserved seat, which also took into account our wish to sit on the edge. We sat in the upper part of the restaurant, but unfortunately it was very warm and stuffy there. After a while the electric side windows opened, which provided some relief - although they were closed again shortly afterwards. The service was consistently friendly, attentive and quick. For my drink I chose my favorite cocktail, the Pina Colada, but unfortunately I was disappointed. In terms of taste, it had nothing to do with a classic Pina Colada. Instead of the expected coconut-pineapple aroma, I only tasted watered down alcohol. The decoration also irritated me: instead of cream or a pineapple slice, colorful popcorn was used. This gradually softened, so that I constantly had crumbs in my mouth when I drank - it was simply unpleasant. My companion, however, was very satisfied with his “Dudler” beer. In addition, our four drinks were served individually, which I found incomprehensible - it would have been much more pleasant to receive them at the same time. For dinner I ordered the “Crispy whole pork knuckle from the oven”. Visually it looked excellent, but the taste was disappointing. The crust was so hard that it was difficult to cut with the already not particularly sharp knives - in the end I had to help with my fingers. In terms of taste, it was rather bland: crispy, fatty, but without any particular seasoning. The meat was partly juicy, partly dry, but overall it didn't convince me. I would have preferred a well-seasoned chicken thigh with crispy skin. I also didn't like the potato dumplings, which are usually one of my favorite dishes. There was also hardly any sauce on the plate, which made the dish even drier. Overall, it was a bad decision for me - but I can't say whether other dishes would have been better. Even if the restaurant is visually appealing and cozy and the service is convincing, that's not enough if neither the food nor the drinks taste good. Therefore, I would neither visit nor recommend this restaurant again.

Hello, It's always good to visit Lehners, the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately I didn't make it to my Wirtshaus Schnitzel, but it was still very good. I think we were served by the waitress Dijana. Very friendly, quick despite stress as we noticed today. Nevertheless, there is always a smile on your face and a good saying. You can tell she's having a lot of fun. The ambience was also very good, unfortunately just a little too loud.

We had a completely delicious meal, schnitzel and salad, with nice service! Nice restaurant with lots of windows, nice view of the Neckar. Gladly again and recommended 👍🏼

Unfortunately nothing worked today. We made a reservation, but got a very bad, loud “cat table”. Starter and one of two main courses came late, but at the same time. The second main course for us came 15 minutes after the first. So the first one was quite cold and the second one (burger) was at most lukewarm. We complained, it meant new people in the kitchen. Service is nice, but the processes are a perceived disaster and the quality of the food is subjectively not at the level of the price.

Highly recommended restaurant! I was really excited! The food tasted excellent, the portions were generous and more than enough. The service was friendly and attentive, you immediately felt at home. The price-performance ratio is great - here you get great quality at fair prices. The restaurant was also busy during the week (we were there on a Monday!). Reservations are definitely recommended. I can recommend this restaurant without hesitation and would be happy to come back!

The only thing that could be criticized 😉 is that it is incredibly warm up in the gallery, but you can't change that, you have to take it into account when choosing your clothing 😃

The food was good, the atmosphere was great and our waitress Diyane was simply fantastic! Super attentive and hard-working, always with a smile on his face, coupled with a great sense of humor that made our evening more enjoyable than just guessing riddles 🤩 Conclusion: One of the best evenings ever 🔝

I was here for dinner today and it was really great the schnitzel was perfect the meat was tender and the breading was nice and crispy the side dishes were also very tasty the service was very friendly and attentive the price is absolutely fair for the quality the atmosphere in the restaurant is Also very pleasant, you immediately feel at home there. Our visit to Lehners was a complete success. The food was excellently prepared and the drinks were perfectly matched. We were particularly impressed by the attentive and extremely friendly service. A place we would love to return to.

I'm a regular customer... Great service and delicious food BUT Lehners... I've already told two waiters/resses within 6 months in 2024... your Cola, Fanta, Sprite has little to no carbon dioxide!!! That's why I mostly drink beer...that's safe... Even changing the drink last time didn't help. Especially in long drinks and co. This is noticeable… and even more so when viewed purely. It's 2025... Today there's a bit more carbon dioxide in it again... I'm not the only one who can notice that... PLEASE URGENTLY CHECK and pull the simple comparison to an original Cola, Fanta etc. out of the bottle or change the supplier... I'll do that for that Lehners no longer advertise.

The place and location is great, as well as the helpful and professional staff. We really enjoyed the dinner which was very tasty. We wanted to try everything, so that resulted in us having a lot of food left. Table to table and a lot of decibels, which we enjoyed, but definitely not for someone who likes a quiet and private place.

When we were there it was very crowded and a bit noisy. But that didn't bother us much given the cozy atmosphere. The waitresses were very friendly, attentive and quick. The cheese spaetzle was a bit weak but the side salad was tasty.

Very nice shop, with sometimes great staff and good cocktails at good prices. Short version: Great for drinking cocktails, I would go somewhere else for dinner. The food is a bit overpriced for what you get. The food comes to the table very quickly, it looks very tasty, but it is a bit tasteless and therefore disappointing. I can't explain why that is, probably some spices are saved. But every dish lacks that certain something. So I would rather eat somewhere else before going for cocktails. I can't recommend the steaks there at all. Neither I nor my friends received these at the desired level of doneness. For the prices quoted, this should be a given! I find the upselling strategies that the service has to use a bit annoying. I don't want to be asked twice if I would like cheese on my tarte flambée for an extra charge, which is not mentioned. If I wanted that, I would have ordered it, because it is also on the menu. A little restraint would be nice here.

Unfortunately not worth a clear recommendation. The fried potatoes were still raw and the Maultaschen were oversalted. Unfortunately, food and drinks are far too expensive overall compared to similar restaurants; you mainly pay for the view and the ambience. The staff seems to be a bit understaffed, because unfortunately requests regarding allergens were not taken into account even after double requests - but I think that was really because there was just too much going on. Fortunately, we were then brought a new dish that took the allergens into account.

The food also came very quickly considering there was so much going on. However, the prices are, sorry, almost outrageous. Yes, everyone knows that everything has become more expensive. But the quality shouldn't suffer because of that, I just expect more given the prices. I had cheese spaetzle, which unfortunately doesn't have a salad on the menu. I don't know that, salad is always served with cheese spaetzle. But okay, I just ordered a small salad, it doesn't matter. However, it tasted very bland. A bit of something green, a few radishes, two slices of radish, a few half tomatoes - everything nicely presented, but not for the price. Unfortunately, the cheese spaetzle was far too dry. The cheese was not at all melt-in-the-mouth, as described on the menu, rather the opposite. Unfortunately, the taste fell by the wayside here too. I was able to try one or two plates and nothing really blew me away, neither the taste nor the portion sizes. Conclusion - unfortunately only mediocre. I'm happy to pay for good food and good service, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio here isn't right at the moment. Maybe I just had a bad day, who knows...

Today I had dinner here on September 18th, 2023 evening with my son and friends. And it was really bad. 1. It takes 30 minutes for service to arrive, even though it feels like 50 people work there. So for ass 2. Today there was tomato cream soup, but it tasted like paprika or chilli sin crane or something. 3. I ordered a VEGETARIAN BURGER... and after 5 minutes the waiter said it was a normal burger, as a vegetarian and a restaurateur (chef) myself, I just have to say that something like that is just embarrassing and really annoying. In my opinion, it was really bad! The service is totally overwhelmed! There are about 15 waitresses running around and no one has a plan or idea. Then I wanted to speak to the service line but no one came. I'm a restaurateur myself and I've never experienced anything like that. I worked here myself 12 years ago and it wasn't like that. The boss should think about it. Absolute disaster. Editing: The team leader came and was very insightful and nice. Nevertheless, you should look for it. And there was another round for free.
