Lehners Wirtshaus Heilbronn in Heilbronn

We were 18 people. Food came at the same time and very quickly. TOP service, we made reservations again for Friday. Can other restaurants learn a lesson... 5 stars

Our visit to the Lehrers Wirtshaus was very nice. It is very large with many different nooks and crannies. For example, there is a small children's paradise under a large staircase. The seats directly next to it are perfect for families as it is usually more restless there because of the kids, but this means you can have a direct overview of the kids. The service staff who served us are very well trained, friendly, competent and have a good understanding.

Always good food, but the ribs are getting smaller every time I visit. However the meat was beautifully tender.

The house was very fully booked. We were able to eat at a “lounge” table. Service was good. Food was good. And we were surprised at the large number of people who would like to eat here.

Just sat at the window at the entrance for 10 minutes...were placed there. Just walk into Sausalitos and at least you'll be served. Too bad...

Very friendly staff, I still got a table even though I didn't make a reservation and the place was pretty full. Ordered the food and didn't have to wait long. It was really tasty, great atmosphere. Everything was consistent. I can only recommend 👍🏻

A very nicely designed restaurant, very stylishly decorated. The food was very good and tasty. The waiters polite and attentive.

Food and service were good. What I found outstanding was the way the staff dealt with a severely disabled guest in a wheelchair. This was treated very lovingly. Although the restaurant was very busy, the staff found time to help him drink by occasionally holding a glass with a straw to his mouth. I learned that he was probably a regular guest and that he came for a drink almost every day. I think it's an exemplary achievement that people who are really unwell are included as a matter of course and are lovingly cared for. High praise, I have never experienced this in any other restaurant!

The Lehners Wirtshaus is a beautifully located restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and a great view. The price for the dishes is absolutely reasonable and within the usual range for a pub of this type. Unfortunately, the taste of the food didn't convince me. I had the lentils with spaetzle because I was looking forward to a typical Swabian dish. Unfortunately, the lentils were very blandly seasoned and did not provide the taste that you would expect from a traditional preparation. The spaetzle was also rather boring and seemed like it wasn't homemade. I would have expected it differently in a tavern with Swabian dishes. The salad with chicken wasn't really convincing either. The chicken was also rather tasteless, as if spices had been deliberately avoided. Maybe that's intentional, but for me it was rather disappointing. What should be highlighted positively, however, is the view, which is really beautiful. Especially in summer it is pleasant to sit here and enjoy the view. Overall, my visit was unfortunately just average because the food didn't live up to expectations. If you're looking for a nice location, this is the right place, but there's room for improvement in terms of taste.

My guests and I were very satisfied. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty. Everyone was fed within 80 minutes. I can only recommend the inn.

By chance we decided to spend the evening with friends in this restaurant. At the beginning we were shown directly to our reserved seat, which also took into account our wish to sit on the edge. We sat in the upper part of the restaurant, but unfortunately it was very warm and stuffy there. After a while the electric side windows opened, which provided some relief - although they were closed again shortly afterwards. The service was consistently friendly, attentive and quick. For my drink I chose my favorite cocktail, the Pina Colada, but unfortunately I was disappointed. In terms of taste, it had nothing to do with a classic Pina Colada. Instead of the expected coconut-pineapple aroma, I only tasted watered down alcohol. The decoration also irritated me: instead of cream or a pineapple slice, colorful popcorn was used. This gradually softened, so that I constantly had crumbs in my mouth when I drank - it was simply unpleasant. My companion, however, was very satisfied with his “Dudler” beer. In addition, our four drinks were served individually, which I found incomprehensible - it would have been much more pleasant to receive them at the same time. For dinner I ordered the “Crispy whole pork knuckle from the oven”. Visually it looked excellent, but the taste was disappointing. The crust was so hard that it was difficult to cut with the already not particularly sharp knives - in the end I had to help with my fingers. In terms of taste, it was rather bland: crispy, fatty, but without any particular seasoning. The meat was partly juicy, partly dry, but overall it didn't convince me. I would have preferred a well-seasoned chicken thigh with crispy skin. I also didn't like the potato dumplings, which are usually one of my favorite dishes. There was also hardly any sauce on the plate, which made the dish even drier. Overall, it was a bad decision for me - but I can't say whether other dishes would have been better. Even if the restaurant is visually appealing and cozy and the service is convincing, that's not enough if neither the food nor the drinks taste good. Therefore, I would neither visit nor recommend this restaurant again.

Hello, It's always good to visit Lehners, the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately I didn't make it to my Wirtshaus Schnitzel, but it was still very good. I think we were served by the waitress Dijana. Very friendly, quick despite stress as we noticed today. Nevertheless, there is always a smile on your face and a good saying. You can tell she's having a lot of fun. The ambience was also very good, unfortunately just a little too loud.

Great restaurant, but not for bargain eaters. Very tasty, very fast service, food is at the table 10 minutes after ordering and tastes very good. Service attentive and friendly. Ambience modern, chic, very nicely done with lighting. Happy to come back!

Unfortunately nothing worked today. We made a reservation, but got a very bad, loud “cat table”. Starter and one of two main courses came late, but at the same time. The second main course for us came 15 minutes after the first. So the first one was quite cold and the second one (burger) was at most lukewarm. We complained, it meant new people in the kitchen. Service is nice, but the processes are a perceived disaster and the quality of the food is subjectively not at the level of the price.

We had a completely delicious meal, schnitzel and salad, with nice service! Nice restaurant with lots of windows, nice view of the Neckar. Gladly again and recommended 👍🏼

Highly recommended restaurant! I was really excited! The food tasted excellent, the portions were generous and more than enough. The service was friendly and attentive, you immediately felt at home. The price-performance ratio is great - here you get great quality at fair prices. The restaurant was also busy during the week (we were there on a Monday!). Reservations are definitely recommended. I can recommend this restaurant without hesitation and would be happy to come back!

Fast and friendly service, the portions are large and there is quite a selection. In terms of price, it is already at the upper limit in relation to the quality. The furnishings are very comfortable. As expected, it gets very loud when the restaurant is full.

It's been a little over a month since I finally gave Muse a review. There were three of us, later four of us in the gallery. The food was good, the atmosphere was great and our waitress Diyane was simply fantastic! Super attentive and hard-working, always with a smile on his face, coupled with a great sense of humor that made our evening more enjoyable than just guessing riddles 🤩 Conclusion: One of the best evenings ever 🔝

I was here for dinner today and it was really great the schnitzel was perfect the meat was tender and the breading was nice and crispy the side dishes were also very tasty the service was very friendly and attentive the price is absolutely fair for the quality the atmosphere in the restaurant is Also very pleasant, you immediately feel at home there. Charming service, delicious food

Our visit to Lehners was a complete success. The food was excellently prepared and the drinks were perfectly matched. We were particularly impressed by the attentive and extremely friendly service. A place we would love to return to.

I'm a regular customer... Great service and delicious food BUT Lehners... I've already told two waiters/resses within 6 months in 2024... your Cola, Fanta, Sprite has little to no carbon dioxide!!! That's why I mostly drink beer...that's safe... Even changing the drink last time didn't help. Especially in long drinks and co. This is noticeable… and even more so when viewed purely. It's 2025... Today there's a bit more carbon dioxide in it again... I'm not the only one who can notice that... PLEASE URGENTLY CHECK and pull the simple comparison to an original Cola, Fanta etc. out of the bottle or change the supplier... I'll do that for that Lehners no longer advertise.

The place and location is great, as well as the helpful and professional staff. We really enjoyed the dinner which was very tasty. We wanted to try everything, so that resulted in us having a lot of food left. Table to table and a lot of decibels, which we enjoyed, but definitely not for someone who likes a quiet and private place.

When we were there it was very crowded and a bit noisy. But that didn't bother us much given the cozy atmosphere. The waitresses were very friendly, attentive and quick. The cheese spaetzle was a bit weak but the side salad was tasty.

Very nice shop, with sometimes great staff and good cocktails at good prices. Short version: Great for drinking cocktails, I would go somewhere else for dinner. The food is a bit overpriced for what you get. The food comes to the table very quickly, it looks very tasty, but it is a bit tasteless and therefore disappointing. I can't explain why that is, probably some spices are saved. But every dish lacks that certain something. So I would rather eat somewhere else before going for cocktails. I can't recommend the steaks there at all. Neither I nor my friends received these at the desired level of doneness. For the prices quoted, this should be a given! I find the upselling strategies that the service has to use a bit annoying. I don't want to be asked twice if I would like cheese on my tarte flambée for an extra charge, which is not mentioned. If I wanted that, I would have ordered it, because it is also on the menu. A little restraint would be nice here.

Unfortunately not worth a clear recommendation. The fried potatoes were still raw and the Maultaschen were oversalted. Unfortunately, food and drinks are far too expensive overall compared to similar restaurants; you mainly pay for the view and the ambience. The staff seems to be a bit understaffed, because unfortunately requests regarding allergens were not taken into account even after double requests - but I think that was really because there was just too much going on. Fortunately, we were then brought a new dish that took the allergens into account.

I can give my recommendation for this mid-priced location. Friendly and attentive waiters, a simple but good selection in the menue, and a clean and cozy environment. It's not fancy, and if this is what you are looking for in this moment, you are making a good choice.

We were there in a larger group. The waitresses were really very nice and accommodating. Drinks were picked up and brought quickly. The food also came very quickly considering there was so much going on. However, the prices are, sorry, almost outrageous. Yes, everyone knows that everything has become more expensive. But the quality shouldn't suffer because of that, I just expect more given the prices. I had cheese spaetzle, which unfortunately doesn't have a salad on the menu. I don't know that, salad is always served with cheese spaetzle. But okay, I just ordered a small salad, it doesn't matter. However, it tasted very bland. A bit of something green, a few radishes, two slices of radish, a few half tomatoes - everything nicely presented, but not for the price. Unfortunately, the cheese spaetzle was far too dry. The cheese was not at all melt-in-the-mouth, as described on the menu, rather the opposite. Unfortunately, the taste fell by the wayside here too. I was able to try one or two plates and nothing really blew me away, neither the taste nor the portion sizes. Conclusion - unfortunately only mediocre. I'm happy to pay for good food and good service, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio here isn't right at the moment. Maybe I just had a bad day, who knows...

Today I had dinner here on September 18th, 2023 evening with my son and friends. And it was really bad. 1. It takes 30 minutes for service to arrive, even though it feels like 50 people work there. So for ass 2. Today there was tomato cream soup, but it tasted like paprika or chilli sin crane or something. 3. I ordered a VEGETARIAN BURGER... and after 5 minutes the waiter said it was a normal burger, as a vegetarian and a restaurateur (chef) myself, I just have to say that something like that is just embarrassing and really annoying. In my opinion, it was really bad! The service is totally overwhelmed! There are about 15 waitresses running around and no one has a plan or idea. Then I wanted to speak to the service line but no one came. I'm a restaurateur myself and I've never experienced anything like that. I worked here myself 12 years ago and it wasn't like that. The boss should think about it. Absolute disaster. Editing: The team leader came and was very insightful and nice. Nevertheless, you should look for it. And there was another round for free.

The food looked good, but the taste was more reminiscent of a hardware store snack. The waitresses were massively understaffed and had no chance of fulfilling the orders. I would rather try another place before I go here again.

The food is really good. However, the prices are just outrageous. Elsewhere you can get two schnitzels and a larger portion of spaetzle for the same price. Here it was only a half-sized schnitzel. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed and was unfriendly. Some of us didn't have the opportunity to order anything at all and got their drinks when we got our food. Waiters shout and are rude. We were there with exchange students. When they wanted to order in English, the waiter was tired of it and came to us Germans, took our order and then countered again. When I had finished eating, an unfriendly colleague of his took our French order. Nice facility but looks loud. I was there last time. I'd rather go to Drauz Besen or Ratskeller.

The beer, Wulle 0.33, today 11/10/24, expired on 03/20/24. Almost eight months later. Complained and the second one too. The third will then be valid until March 25, 2025. This shouldn't happen, I was horrified. Take a close look at the date here!!!

Reservierung des Tisches mit Sonderwünschen hat super geklappt. Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam schnelle Bewirtung. Leider ist manches Essen nicht so gut. Das Rindfleisch beim Tafelspitz war einfach nur sehr trocken. Die käsespätzle zu weich und der Flammkuchen kam leider kalt. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Die hausgemachten Limonaden sind wirklich sehr gut.

Uns wurde ein sehr dunkler Tisch zugeteilt, den wir aber gegen einen direkt an der Spielecke tauschen konnten.

Tisch war wie gewünscht reserviert, die Servicekräfte waren alle freundlich und schnell. Das Essen wurdec schnell an den Tisch gebracht und Sonderwünsche erfüllt. Gerne wieder

The service at Lehners Wirtshaus was generally friendly, but the team leader “Lays” was extremely rude and showed little respect in his dealings with the guests. His behavior had a negative impact on the entire mood and greatly spoiled our visit. Based on this experience, we will consider visiting the inn again in the future. It's a shame, because the rest of the service was actually great.

Great service and we ate very well. The knuckle was sensational, extremely crispy and would have been enough for two people.

Very good place to go even for larger groups and a good selection of food. The service was super nice and friendly. Even when I was looking for my lost wallet, the employees were very courteous and helpful. :)

Apple strudel didn't taste good. Lots of dough, no apples, no raisins. Applesauce is inside with two wafer-thin, small, transparent slices, sticky between many layers of dough.

The food is really a bit shabby for the prices. Frozen goods without much effort. Mostly just warmed up or pre-cooked with cheap ingredients. Does not legitimize the prices in any way. Usually the food is not hot at the table. Organization is usually a bit uncoordinated in the entire process. Today there was a whole line of people waiting and at the bar and all the staff who were running back and forth just turned their face around for 10 minutes and didn't react. Customer service would be - I see a need and feel responsible for it, regardless of whether it's a part of the moment or not... And don't make a face like I hate my guests. Cocktail prices are very high for little rotation and a lot of ice in the glass... you can really only go out for a drink to roll the dice on Mondays. It's a shame... There are much better stores in Heilbronx.

Delicious food. I had the Wirtshaus Schnitzel. Very good meat and the potatoes were really tasty.

Service was friendly and quick, no long waiting times despite the restaurant being well filled. Salad was good, schnitzel is unfortunately just a better frozen schnitzel and the Kaiserschmarrn tastes almost exclusively of clarified butter or something similar. Price-performance ratio is therefore not suitable. Recommended for going out for a drink in the evening, but not so much for eating.

The inn is hearty and attractive. A nice place where young and old like to meet for a lively conversation with friends. The food is adapted to the name of the inn and is served with a lot of love by really nice and courteous staff. Yes, the food is very good and you can say an all-round good concept for social evenings. Small point, yes it is a little noisy in this two-story restaurant. But it's cool to sit. I would love to come back to the lively 😎 inn

War etwas kalt, viele saßen in Jacken, deine kalte Zugluft war sehr spürbar über die ganze untere Etage. Das war das einzige was nicht so schön war, ansonsten alles top! Großes Lob an die Küche. Mega lecker!

Mega cool location Was there for dinner and a beer. All the waitresses were friendly, even though there was a lot going on. And €18 for a large Wirtshaus schnitzel with Wirtshaus fries is great, great quality and delicious.

Great location Food very good. Overall, the kitchen and staff were really on point... I was there with a group of around 30 people We were served by a young lady named Leo: attentive, friendly, quick. Top! In no time the drinks and shortly afterwards the food were on the table. Cocktails at reasonable prices on Mondays...so the hut was really full...

Käsespätzle tested really bad. They used some white sauce instead of cheese

Food was ok, but nothing more. The potato salad wasn't to my taste and my companion's cheese spaetzle had cheese in it that didn't lose anything in terms of taste - but fortunately it wasn't my dish. It was very drafty and cold every time someone went in or out - extremely natural when a group of over 20 came in at a snail's pace. You could hear the group very loudly the whole time, even though they were sitting in a completely different corner. Not worth a second visit for me. I used to be much more enthusiastic about Lehners in Pforzheim!

The food and service is always very good. There is even vegan food and a large selection of drinks. In terms of price it is a bit more expensive but worth the money. Nice restaurant in Heilbronn am Neckar. Particularly nice to sit outside in summer.

Food was okay even if no culinary highlights are to be expected. The ambience is nice but the place is very big.

Cult in Heilbronn. Especially the legendary cocktail dice roll on Monday! 😁 It's always worth stopping here, especially since the great ambience is tempting!

Den Tisch den wir bestellt haben war sehr ungünstig gelegen nicht passend für den Anlass, waren sehr enttäuscht, außerdem müssten wir lange auf die Bedienung warten, die unfreundlich und sehr gestresst wirkte.
