Wir bekamen zu fünft kurzfristig, einen schönen Tisch am Fenster. Die Preise auf der regulären Karte sind recht gehoben, das Ambiente passt dazu nicht so ganz. Die Tageskarte ist moderat. Das Puten Geschnetzeltes auf Reis war etwas lieblos und geschmacksneutral. Außerdem wenig Fleisch. Ganz anders war der hervorragende langsam gegarte tafelspitz. Ein hervorragendes Fleisch, sehr reichliche Portion. Es verging auf der Zunge und war äußerst schmackhaft. Auch die dazu gereichte sämige Meerrettichsauce war toll. Auch die Preiselbeeren harmonieren. Die Kartoffeln waren allerdings eine Zumutung. Sie waren offensichtlich mindestens ein eher zwei Tage alt und schmeckten ganz überwiegend scheußlich. Ich habe sie liegen lassen müssen. Der etwas unwirsche Kellner fragte nicht nach, ich wies ihn aber darauf hin. Statt einer Entschuldigigung, kam nur „das ist ein Natur Produkt“. Angenehm für Autofahrer ist, dass man frisch gezapftes Bier auch im 0,1 l Glas bekommt, in Köln ja immer so….

Wir hätten das Candle Light Dinner 4 Gänge Menü für 119€ gebucht und sind stark begeistert. Wir hätten bei jeden Gericht eine Geschmacksexplosion vor allem beim Nachtisch 🙊. Service sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Gerne wieder einen Besuch wert.

Bedienung sehr freundlich und kompetent, tolles Ambiente und leckeres Essen. Wir hatten das 4-Gänge-Menü. Portionen waren erwartungsgemäß eher klein, aber es war mal etwas Anderes und definitiv absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir waren absolut geflasht von unserem Besuch. Das Essen hat uns fasziniert. Gehobene Küche, dementsprechend zahlt man auch, aber es ist ein besonderes Erlebnis. Junge, nette und vor allem geschulte Bedienung. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit einem Gutschein dort, mit dem auch alle Getränke eingeschlossen waren, lässt einen den Abend genießen. Wir kommen sicherlich gerne wieder. Danke für den schönen Abend.

Der Service war ausgezeichnet, die Weinempfehlungen hatten sehr gut zu den Gängen gepasst. Die Teller waren ansprechend angerichtet und es hat uns allen gut geschmeckt. Die Schokolade ist gut in den Gerichten integriert ohne zu aufdringlich oder im Vordergrund zu stehen.

Wir kommen nun schon seit vielen Jahren als Stammkunden ins Restaurant Schoko nach Rheinstetten-Forchheim und sind jedes Mal aufs Neue absolut begeistert. Es ist eines dieser seltenen Restaurants, in denen das Gesamtpaket aus Atmosphäre, Service und Küche einfach perfekt harmoniert. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der hervorragende und herzliche Service von Frau Wernert und ihrem Team. Man fühlt sich hier nicht nur als Gast, sondern wirklich willkommen. Die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit sind beispiellos und tragen maßgeblich zu der tollen Atmosphäre bei, die wir als Familie so sehr schätzen. Auch kulinarisch war es wieder ein absolutes Highlight: • Das Rinderfilet (Teuflisches Intermezzo) war auf den Punkt zubereitet und geschmacklich eine Sensation. • Die Kalbsmedaillons waren butterzart und von hervorragender Qualität. Wer die Website verfolgt, weiß, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gekocht wird – und das schmeckt man bei jedem Bissen. Fazit: Wir waren als Familie mehr als zufrieden. Hatten das Schoko Menü classic gebucht und waren begeistert. Eine wirklich schöne gemütliche Atmosphäre im Restaurant und sehr nette Kellnerinnen. Das Essen war super lecker, vor allem die Suppe und das Hähnchen sowie die süßen Speisen. Nur der zweite Gang mit dem Kürbis hat uns nicht so gut gefallen. Sonst alles perfekt, kommen gerne wieder ! Es gibt auch ein Bonus Programm war echt nett ist. Sehr zu empfehlen. 😊👍🍽️

Ein rundum gelungener Abend im Schoko Restaurant! Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Atmosphäre schön gemütlich. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den tollen Service von der lieben Dilara super aufmerksam, herzlich und immer auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Auch die Grüße aus der Küche waren sehr schmackhaft und haben den Abend perfekt abgerundet. Jeder Besuch hier ist ein Erlebnis! Grandiose Speisen und stets überaus freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service erscheinen hier geradezu selbstverständlich. Wir kommen hier wirklich sehr gerne hin und können es aus ganzem Herzen weiter empfehlen, wenn man ein tolles Abendessen genießen möchte. Diese Qualität und der Service haben natürlich auch ihren Preis. ;-)

Wir waren an meinem Geburtstag das erste Mal mit meinem Besuch im Schoko: top Service, bestes Essen und Getränke. Rinderbäckchen mit feiner Schokoladensosse: ein Traum. Ich bin froh endlich mal den Weg dorthin gefunden zu haben. Wir kommen wieder!!

Das Candle Light Dinner Deluxe für 2 Personen für 150€ war okay, wir würden es allerdings nicht weiter empfehlen. Der 2. Gang mit dem Kürbis und das Dessert mit der Schokocreme und den großen Butterstreusel haben nicht überzeugt. Auch das Ambiente mit Batterie betriebenen LED Teelichtern und dem Trockengesteck ließ kein wahres „Candle Light Feeling“ aufkommen, obwohl in der Beschreibung von Kerzen und Blumendeko die Rede ist (Interpretationssache?!). Positiv ist der exzellente Service und dass im Preis die Getränke enthalten sind, sodass man über den Abend so viel trinken kann wie man möchte und den Endpreis bereits kennt.

Das Essen und der Service waren wirklich hervorragend!

Obwohl wir die ersten Gäste waren, mussten wir eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten. Sehr abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte - leider überteuert. Genial schönes Ambiente

Seit langem waren wir mal wieder dort und es hat sich etwas getan. Aber zunächst von Anfang an. Parkplätze sind im näheren Umfeld an der Straße mit etwas Glück sehr nahe zu finden. Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist einfach gemütlich, mit vielen kleinen Erkern und privaten Nischen sitzt man dem Nachbartisch nicht umgehend auf dem Schoß. Der gestern erfahrene Service von allen Mitarbeitern war wirklich große Klasse! So habe ich das Restaurant nicht mehr in Erinnerung - auch bei der Karte hat sich etwas getan. Ein Überschaubares Angebot was der Qualität und auch Diversität jedoch keinen Abbruch tut. Zudem die Ergänzung ob Gourmet- oder Genussteller, kleiner aber feiner Unterschied im Preis und somit auch in der Größe. Die kleinere Größe bietet sich bei mehreren Gängen oder kleinem Hunger durchaus an. Das Essen war wie zu erwarten auch sehr gut und wurde durch einen Gruß aus der Küche und den nochmal zu erwähnenden Service voll abgerundet. Feldsalat und Hirschgulasch sind hier besonders hervorzuheben! Wir kommen wieder!

Das "Schoko" wird seinem hohen Anspruch nicht gerecht, es fehlt einfach überall das i-Tüpfelchen. Essen schmeckt prima und fein, der Service ist schnell und das Ambiente ist nett, nichts herausragendes. Aber ein schales Hoepfner Bier vom Fass wird nicht besser, wenn man nach der Reklamation erneut ein abgestandenes Bier kommentarlos hingestellt bekommt, das Rotkraut bei der Gans lauwarm ist und die Garderobe nicht vor Küchengerüchen geschützt ist - das riecht noch tagelang. Wie schon andere bemerkt haben: Preis - Leistung stimmen im Schoko nicht. Bei einem Essen für Euro 60.- bis 70.- gesamt pro Person erwarte ich mehr. Zudem ist die Wahl zwischen Menüteller (laut Bedienung eigentlich Seniorenteller) und Genussteller Augenwischerei. Nachtrag : Waren noch zweimal in KA Gans essen, an die Qualität und den guten Geschmack vom "Schoko" kamen beide Lokale nicht ran.

Ich hab auf Grund eines Videos auf Instagram das weiße Schokoladen Risotto probiert, wow! Noch nie sowas gehabt. Hammer. Service war auch top. Das Licht mir etwas gelblich, sonst schönes Ambiente.

Friendly and pleasant atmosphere; everyone was very nice and accommodating. The food is okay, but lacks a bit of refinement and is generally too salty. It would be better to use a few more different herbs rather than too much salt.

Wow, nicht nur ist das Ambiente wunderschön und geräumig, sondern auch der Service sehr fein und gut geschult. Die Speisen waren top. Das Rumpsteak sehr zart und perfekt Medium, die Kruste leicht kakaoig und die auch perfekt schokoladig aber auch salzig. Die Ochsenbäckle waren butterzart und das Püree cremig. Das Risotto war das leckerste Gericht das ich dieses Jahr hatte. Diese weiße Schokoladennote lässt sich gar nicht in Worte fassen. Auch jedes Gemüse war auf den Punkt und die Portionen wirklich groß. Auch Preis Leistung passt.

Sehr sehr gutes Essen, wahnsinnig zuvorkommendes und freundliches Personal. Wenn man was nicht so ganz ideales finden möchte, könnte man sagen es ist etwas eng gestellt mit Tischen und Stühlen. Aber das ist nicht wirklich Kritik. Ein tolles Restaurant 👍👍

Okay, my review wasn't accepted, so here's my opinion: I thought the liquid chocolate that was in everything was fantastic. I love pasta with shrimp and white chocolate coating, it's so wonderfully sweet. Admittedly, it's very, very expensive, but I treated myself to it once in a lifetime and never, ever again. I love waiters who actually say something and are really direct. The best thing was the gazpacho; I don't like gazpacho with such an intense tomato flavor. This was really good.

Super friendly service, fantastic food, and wonderful hospitality. We'd happily return. It couldn't be better. When will we get a Michelin star?!?

A very nice restaurant with a varied, seasonal menu. The chocolate creations are particularly outstanding and leave you wanting more. The ambiance is appealing and cozy, and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended! The kitchen team does a fantastic job – the dishes are exquisitely prepared and a delight to taste.

That was a highlight. We had the candlelight dinner (a gift from Jochen Schweizer). It was fantastic. The service was also really good. They always made sure we had something to drink, and the individual dishes were explained.

We had lunch at Schoko...and what can I say, it was outstanding. The service was excellent, the atmosphere cozy, and the food impeccable. We'd love to come back.

Wow, wow, wow. A lovely evening at Restaurant Schoko. It's a truly wonderful atmosphere. Such great service. Delicious food—with or without chocolate. A special treat from the kitchen. Truly special in every way. But still not pretentious. Highly recommended. Even the bill was a special treat. And a great idea: Currywurst and fries for the €7.90 lunch menu. We'll give it a try.

So disappointed. We saved the food. I think it would have been better off in the trash.

We were there for our anniversary and booked the candlelight dinner, which included the interactive game. It was truly beautiful. The ambiance was absolutely romantic, the food was fantastic, and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a 6-course candlelight dinner...what made the evening perfect was the attentive service, delicious food, and drinks that complemented each course...everything had a hint of chocolate, not too heavy, making it a dream combination 😍👏🏼...I can highly recommend it! Reservations are recommended.

A very nice restaurant with friendly staff and a cozy outdoor area. The food isn't cheap, but it tastes excellent. The unusual chocolate creations are particularly great. You just have to be brave enough 😊 Perfect for a lovely evening with loved ones. In the lovely atmosphere, we couldn't resist a delicious dessert to finish off the meal.

Highly recommended! I was there in 2011, and it's still a special experience to enjoy a chocolate menu there!

The price does not match the quality. We ordered the deluxe menu, and each dish was worse than the last. The soup was watery, the meat was chewy, and the worst by far was the cauliflower panna cotta. The wine pairing was also disappointing, especially in this region of Germany. At one point, I’m pretty sure we were served an old white wine. The veggie menu, complained about the consistency of the tofu steak and was completely ignored by the staff. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I had a wonderful lunch at Schoko. The service was extremely attentive and immediately made us feel at home. I was delighted by the fresh ingredients and the tasteful preparation. The restaurant's ambiance was inviting and stylish, ideal for a relaxed lunch break. Overall, I highly recommend Schoko and am already looking forward to my next visit!

A very good seasonal menu with something for everyone. We sat outside, which was very pleasant given the beautiful weather...the main course, one lamb and one pike-perch with asparagus, was very tasty. The service and friendliness were excellent. We felt very comfortable.

We had dinner with friends at the Schoko restaurant in the evening. The atmosphere was pleasant. The food was good. Excellent service. However, the prices were quite high. A 0.75 L Peterstaler water cost €6.90. Espresso with a scoop of ice cream cost €7. There was a lovely outdoor area.

Hello, we can happily recommend this restaurant. It has a very cozy atmosphere and excellent food. The same goes for the friendly and attentive service. The waiters should be aware that there may be a long wait.

Lamb with asparagus was very tasty.

We went to the restaurant for dinner. Our children gave us a voucher for a 6-course chocolate menu. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and you immediately feel at home. The staff was very friendly. All dishes were enhanced/enriched with chocolate, and we were surprised at how well they blended. The menu also offers many dishes without chocolate. Conclusion: Highly recommended.

Nine of us dined here for a midweek special occasion. Everyone was extremely satisfied. The rhubarb risotto and gnocchi were particularly noteworthy. The service was extremely attentive, yet relaxed. The ambiance was stylish. A definite recommendation.

If you want to be pampered and enjoy good food, this is the place for you. We've rarely eaten so well. During our four-course meal, we discovered that chocolate doesn't always have to taste sweet. The service knows how to establish a good rapport with guests and maintain this rapport until their departure. A great place to enjoy yourself, but also for a gift certificate.

We were invited to a birthday party. I had asparagus cream soup as a starter and a steak with asparagus and pepper hollandaise as my main course. The soup wasn't too thin or too thick, but the seasoning was just right. The steak was cooked to medium rare. The asparagus wasn't that great (too hard) and the hollandais was too peppery. Therefore a star deduction. Otherwise, I can recommend the restaurant as I have eaten better here.

Not recommended! We have reservations and are seated at a set table for four. I ask if that's okay (they made a mistake in the table...) We are given a drink menu: "...we should hurry up, it's about to start..." Note: we arrived on time before the reservation time. ... Waited way too long for the main course the usual excuses, kitchen overloaded, "...but it'll be there soon...sauce is being made right now..." What sauce! The hot chocolate, for example? Most of the guests had already left the restaurant!!! Polenta is already cooled to the skin, lukewarm. It's not possible, I don't accept it! Made chocolate polenta a few days later. Served fresh, it's hot and creamy, skinless! Clearing up went very quickly when we were finished. ... Dessert: 5 minutes after

We celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant and it was just perfect! The service was attentive and very friendly without being intrusive. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious - you can tell that the cooking here is done with quality and love. What was particularly nice was that our table was decorated especially for us - a really loving gesture that made the evening even more special. The ambience is also great: stylish, cozy and just a place to feel good. We'll definitely be back!

A very pleasant experience. We had seen an advertisement and were offered a set menu. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was well-portioned and well-balanced. One drawback is the parking situation in what is essentially a residential area.

Exceptional, high quality food; very friendly and agile service, clean and lovingly arranged ambience... The prices are absolutely reasonable - but that doesn't take into account the number of temptations; It's huge, which of course further ennobles the restaurant in such a case. The toilets are also clean and attractively decorated - Schoko is definitely one of the top 3 restaurants I have visited in my life.

Children undesirable We were invited to our grandma's birthday and had our 1.5 year old son with us. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but family friendly. Right from the start we were told sternly that our child was not allowed to touch the table lamp because it cost €300 - he had only touched it briefly. We were then informed that a particular chair was only “for ambience” and could not be used for sitting. It was also made clear to us that our child should not run around or move freely. Of course, we understand that there are rules in a restaurant that we like to follow, but the way these were communicated was anything but hospitable. While the waitress greeted us in a friendly manner from the front, her expression immediately fell as soon as she turned around. Here's a little tip for the next little visitors: Instead of saying how much the lamp costs, point out that it is heavy and that you can get injured and place the lamp in the middle of the table - then the whole thing only seems half as unsympathetic 😉

Restaurant Schoko: A culinary highlight with an extensive vegan offering I was impressed by Restaurant Schoko from start to finish. The staff is exceptionally courteous, friendly and competent. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. Of particular note, the restaurant offers a full vegan menu that is just as creative and tasty as the regular menu. The evening began with a delicious amuse-bouche: toast with delicious herring salad. The vegan version, a beetroot carpaccio with horseradish, was a complete success and showed the attention to detail that prevails in the kitchen. The starters continued the high standard. The miso soup with vegetables was simply tasty and the cauliflower panna cotta with fresh salad was a poem. The vegan starters also impressed with their sophisticated flavors and fresh ingredients. As a main course, a slice of roast beef was served on creamy pea puree, glazed carrots and a chocolate port wine jus. The meat was cooked to perfection, the mushy peas were delicious and the chocolate sauce was heavenly. The vegan main courses were also a feast for the senses and showed that vegan cuisine can be anything but boring. The dessert, a chocolate cake with a liquid center and homemade coconut ice cream, was the culmination of a perfect evening. Here too there was a delicious vegan alternative that was in no way inferior to the original. Conclusion: The Schoko restaurant is an absolute must for every foodie, whether vegan or not. The combination of excellent service, creative cuisine, high-quality ingredients and an extensive vegan menu is unbeatable. I will definitely come back!

Had the 6 course chocolate menu deluxe "Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right here. The courses were poorly seasoned. The roast beef was too cooked and not enough jus. But the cauliflower panna cotta was the worst course.

Everything was TOP and super satisfied. We redeemed the voucher on a Friday evening for one of the delicious chocolate menus. The dishes were well selected and there was nothing to complain about. Everything was so well coordinated. Heartfelt recommendation. We felt very, very comfortable. There was a chocolate rosé wine and a chocolate sparkling wine as an aperitif. We're still raving about it now! The red wine refined with chocolate for dessert was also a highlight! The ambience was also great and beautifully decorated. There are nice sayings on the toilet that made you smile. We'll be back!

In this restaurant you simply become a “repeat offender”. Last but not least, this is due to the extremely friendly and attentive staff, a cuisine that is diverse, creative and extremely tasty. The wait for the starter or main course was shortened yesterday with an amuse bouche and increased our anticipation of the subsequent, extremely successful wild cream soup and the pumpkin curry soup - the latter refined with dark chocolate. The rump steak with a chocolate crust was also a poem and perfectly prepared, as was the pike perch fillet fried on bacon with mild cream sauerkraut and homemade Schupfnudeln. The whole thing was rounded off with a cinnamon parfait and a sorbet. Also worth mentioning is the tasteful and stylish furnishings, the really beautifully set tables and the feel-good atmosphere in general. A visit to Schoko is always a visit where all the senses are stimulated. And since chocolate is known to make you happy, a visit to the Schoko restaurant is always associated with special moments of happiness, but also with special taste experiences. We would love to come back to be pampered again!!!

I had dinner there yesterday with my daughter, so it wasn't just suitable for a romantic evening. Very friendly staff and if you would like to embark on a culinary adventure, this is exactly the right place for you. Were extremely excited. If I had to give it 10 stars I would definitely give it.
