Great food. Eight of us were there. Everyone loved it. Finally, there are great vegetarian dishes. The value for money is good. The interior is also very cozy. I wouldn't have expected it, given the name 'Clubhouse.'

The Sportfreunde Forchheim clubhouse is a real insider tip for everyone who values ​​good food and a pleasant atmosphere. As soon as you enter, you can feel the warm hospitality - the staff is attentive, friendly and makes you feel right at home. From a culinary point of view, the clubhouse impresses with a varied menu that offers regional classics as well as creative dishes. The fish soup is particularly recommended – aromatic, homemade and perfectly seasoned. The burger with sparerib meat and the crispy sweet potato fries were also a real highlight. The quality of the ingredients is noticeably high, which is also reflected in the presentation of the dishes. Although the prices are slightly higher, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right - the taste and freshness justify the extra charge. The location near the New Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center is ideal – whether by car or the tram (stop “Forchheim Hallenbad”) – accessibility is easy. Parking spaces are also available nearby. Conclusion: If you are looking for a cozy restaurant with delicious food and friendly service, the Sportfreunde Forchheim clubhouse is the perfect place for you. A visit is definitely worth it – not just for club members!

Before we went into the clubhouse, we asked ourselves if this was a good idea because it wasn't very inviting from the outside. And yes, it was the best idea we had! Every restaurateur who wants to know how hospitality and very good cuisine works can see how it's done here. Excellent cuisine and equally good service. Don't change the exterior, otherwise you won't get any more space 😊

We were in Karlsruhe for the trade fair and were looking for a restaurant within walking distance. Service attentive and uncomplicated. Very nice. The kitchen is super delicious 😋 and worth every cent. All around 10 out of 10 points.

Nach einem Messetag auf der benachbarten Messe Karlsruhe waren wir hier bereits zum zweiten mal zum Essen. Wir wurden wirklich herzlich empfangen. Der Gastraum ist einladend, gepflegt und vermittelt eine angenehme und entspannte Atmosphäre. Die Speisenkarte ist vielfältig und regional geprägt. Die Qualität der Speisen wird bestätigt durch eine hohe Gästezahl, bereits kurz nach Öffnung. Besonders empfehlenswert ist die Wildbolognese vom heimischen Wild. Die Preise sind absolut angemessen und wir haben unseren Besuch sehr genossen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Star cuisine, tough service, great taste experience

First of all, the name says it all, i.e. you get a clubhouse like in the 80s or 90s in terms of equipment. Some people will only be enthusiastic to a limited extent, I liked it, I like the robust charm. However, the kitchen is anything but retro; the owner and her helpers can cook really well. Everyone will find something from home-baked bread to their own pasta to exceptional loaf dishes. The dishes are prepared and served lovingly and with outstanding quality. We were totally thrilled and visited the clubhouse several times during a short stay.

We (4 people) were in the clubhouse for the first time; we, like others, probably came across it through the program “My Local, Your Local”. The first impression was disappointing, which was mainly due to the sticky and stunted table despite having a reservation (5 p.m.). The menu completes the picture of the table, as it is also glued together. Despite fewer guests (at the beginning), the service only did its job moderately well. The reason for this is that the additional food was not presented; by chance we could have picked up some of it at the neighboring table. When the restaurant filled up (13 occupied tables), two of three service staff were overwhelmed, listless and ignorant. Only one service staff member (light blue top/blond) deserves praise. Empty glasses were ignored until the end and even after asking again for the dessert menu there was no way to order it. After 20 minutes a service employee came, but we only ordered the bill from her. Summarized in grades: food very good & service poor.

This place is top notch, the best bread I’ve had in a restaurant ever. Great range of food options and the atmosphere was lovely, very spacious and laid back, no crap music and the staff were super friendly and seemed to really enjoy trying out their English (sorry we didn’t speak any German)

A real insider tip, You can tell that cooking is done with love. There were spare ribs with salad and homemade sauce. Buttery soft, the meat fell off the bone and was very tender. The dip is very pleasant. The salad dressing with seeds and herbs is a culinary delight. The clubhouse is clean and loving decorated. Reservation would be recommended!

TOP! Four of us had dinner there yesterday! It was very busy on a Saturday evening - luckily I had a reservation. It was a great evening! Food, service and also the rooms were great. The rump steak was great. It's been a long time since I've had such a good and tender steak. Salads were also very well prepared and tasty. The service girls are on point and very friendly. We got the tip to go there and it was more than worth it. We'll definitely be back!

Clubhouse Sportfreunde in Fohrheim I was totally surprised by the extremely friendly, fast and attentive service. Very busy during the week for a football clubhouse. Very nice menu. Actually, dishes that you really want in the country. I ate a cordon bleu with fried potatoes and drank a nice glass of wine. I was actually totally amazed that you can still find restaurants that really enjoy gastronomy.

Spontaneously went to the “Clubhouse” today and got a spot straight away without a reservation. Food was excellent and high quality. The service was friendly and courteous. Can only warmly recommend the restaurant! As is well known, prices can be argued, but every cent is in good hands here 🫃🏻

Gestern waren wir leider im Clubhausd FV zum Essen, wohlgemerkt zum ersten und letzten Mal. Die Preise sind mehr als nur überteuert für das was dort geboten wird. Wirklich frech was hier verlangt wurde, erst Recht für eine SPORT-Gaststätte. Eine als "Hänchenbrust mit GEMÜSEpfanne" angepriesenes Gericht enthielt nur billigeste Zucchini, mit einem kleinen Stückchen Fleisch, beides total überwürzt und versalzen. Bei den Pastagerichten schmeckte man eigentlich nur eines: Knoblauch....in Massen, ohne Sinn und Verstand eingesetzt. Das Dressing der Salate hätte auch direkt aus dem Supermarkt sein können. Auch bei den anderen Gerichten wurde SEHR großzügig mit Salz umgegangen, man schmeckte oftmals gar nichts anderes heraus. Getränke kamen meistens in dicken Bierhumpen aus Steingut....kann man mögen, muss man aber nicht, gerade die ältern am Tisch hatten hier wirklich ein Problem wegen dem unnötigen Gewicht, oder der extrem dicken Wandung. Ambiente erinnerte an eine Flüster-Kneipe aus den 40´er Jahren, mit Tischen ohne Gedecke, ohne Tischdecken, und uralter Einrichtung. Eben eine typische Sport-Kneipe die sparen muss, was aber nicht mit den verlangten Preisen konform geht. Essen wurde recht lieblos und unprofessionell Serviert, es war aber sehr viel los, also war das annehmbar, und die jungen Damen waren durchaus bemüht, aber eindeutig nicht vom Fach. Fazit: Nicht wieder, nicht empfehlenswert !

We went there spontaneously for dinner today and were really impressed. The team was in a good mood, there was a good atmosphere among each other and there was always a quick saying. The staff were very accommodating and the service was perfect. We felt very comfortable there. The food was very tasty and the dishes were well thought out and combined. We decided on the recommendations of the house. We had the saddle of lamb, which tasted really great and was very tender, and the spaghetti with chanterelles. This dish also tasted very good and the pasta was cooked to perfection, the small mini tomatoes burst in your mouth when you eat them and made the dish taste better again rounded. We'll definitely come back again tomorrow. 😊

The food at the Sportfreundehaus Forchheim was very good. The quality of the cordon bleu and salad was excellent, although the portions could have been a bit larger for the prices. The area right next to the sports field can be a bit noisy at times, but that's part of the charm of the place. It's nice to watch the children play football while eating and enjoy the sporty atmosphere. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made the stay even more pleasant. Overall, a recommended place for good food and a pleasant atmosphere. All in all a very family environment.

We were lucky enough to discover this restaurant on our way through (: the spinach dumplings with salad were super tasty. Everything was uncomplicated on site and, despite the house being full, we quickly got our order to take away. Many thanks to the team and all the best.

Es ist vom Tisch Essensniveau eindeutig besser als ein Sportlerheim welches man kennt, jedoch sind dementsprechend auch die Preise die wie wir fanden gute 15% drüber sind. Schnitzel mit Salat knapp 22€ Euro in Camembertsalat 18€ oder Burger und Pommes 19€ das war es portionstechnisch nicht wert! Auch wenn es geschmeckt hat. Bedienung ist gut aber nicht die schnellste der Laden war zu 70% gefüllt. Punktabzug eindeutig für das Ambiente im Zusammenspiel mit dem Preis! Man kam gut essen im Ort aber für das Lokal einfach etwas zu teuer.

On a Saturday evening we were turned away at 8:35 p.m. with the explanation that it was vacation tomorrow, the kitchen was already closed because it was quiet and they had already frozen everything. The restaurant was busy, just as an indication. We were sent as pedestrians (the young lady knew that) into the pouring rain to try our luck 10 minutes away. A bottomless impudence, a lot of fun for the guests who are served the thawed food after their vacation. Gastronomy is different!

The food was good but unfortunately way too salty. We ate wild garlic spaetzle, grilled focaccia and gambis... if there hadn't been so much salt on it, it would have been really tasty. The staff was super friendly, but the food took a long time.

I picked up food there, so I can't say anything about the food. The side dish portions were very small. There was almost no sauce and the chocolate cake was almost tiny for just under €10. But the big, delicious salad and the cordon bleu were positive. I would give 3 stars for value for money.

After a long break we were once again in the Sportfreunde Forchheim clubhouse. Very busy for a Tuesday but surprisingly good acoustics. You could have a stress-free conversation with the other person. Menu plus weekly menu offers a good selection. Food was great! Fresh, great quality, great quantity 😁👍 and super tasty. Beef tartare sensational, rump steak with onions great, wild boar bolo inspiring. “Small salads” with great dressing. And the young girls in service were super nice, hard-working and stress-free! Price wise it's not a bargain but absolutely justified!

Cozy clubhouse of the Sportfreunde Forchheim. Pleasant atmosphere, despite the restaurant being full, it was still possible to have a good conversation. Despite the restaurant being full, the food came to the table quickly. You can immediately see that people cook with love here and use good ingredients from regional traders. The toilets are clean and don't have a backyard feel. A little overpriced for a soccer clubhouse, but you don't have to go. The menu including prices can be accessed online in advance. If there are any changes to the composition of the dish as it appears on the menu, 2.50 euros will be charged. That's over 10%, which should be free as a courtesy.

Tolles Restaurant mit gutem Essen und sehr nettem Personal. Bestellen seit 3 Jahren hier unser Weihnachtsessen und freuen uns immer sehr darauf. Gut zu erreichen mit der Bahn und genügend Parkplätze sind auch da.

Das hat schon nichts mehr mit Clubhaus zu tun, das ist schon ein Restaurant mit gehobener Gastronomie. Nichts do trotz kann man dort auch als Fußballer sehr gemütlich sitzen. Kathi und ihr Team einfach Bombe.

Mein Mann und ich waren gestern Mittag bei euch Essen und es war einfach nur lecker! Mein Mann hatte ein Rumpsteak,dass perfekt war und ich hatte das Tatar, dass auch sehr lecker war!! Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 😍 Das war unser zweiter Besuch bei euch und das erste Mal, waren wir auch schon total begeistert!!!

Sehr guter Service und leckeres Essen, wie immer wenn wir dort waren. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend.

Immer wieder lecker - heute hatten wir dreimal Pasta - mal mit Hühnchen, Rucola und Pesto, mal mediterran mit Pfifferlingen und einen Kinderteller mit Tomatensauce. Tja, wenn man sich nach dem Essen noch ein Stück hausgemachte Focaccia erbettelt um die Teller auszuwischen - Knigge hin oder her - dann sind die Themen Qualität und Geschmack geklärt! Es ist so schön zu wissen, dass das Clubhaus dieses Niveau schon lange hält und gefühlt immer besser wird anstatt es schleifen zu lassen. Besonders mag ich die Wochenkarte - der Jahreszeit entsprechende Küche und immer eine Überraschung, dazu noch das stets supernette Team - wir lassen euch ein Dankeschön da und bis zum nächsten Mal!!!

Schönes Vereinslokal mit super Küche. Wir hatten spät angerufen und nach einem warmen Essen gefragt, sie hatten extra die Küche aufgehalten um uns zu bedienen. Das Essen selbst war super lecker und die Portionen sind üppig.

Da es in der Gegend nicht viele Alternativen gab haben wir uns für die Sportgaststätte entschieden. Wir kamen von der Rückseite des Gebäudes. Da dies sehr unscheinbar wirkte hatten wir schon überlegt ob wir da wirklich richtig sind. Ich kann nur sagen, wir hätten etwas verpasst, wenn wir weiter gegangen wären. Die Küche ist hervorragend und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und sehr höflich. Wir haben Tatar, Garnelen, Burger und Steak gegessen. Es war alles wirklich sehr lecker. FAZIT: Leider hat nicht jedes Sportheim eine so ausgezeichnete Küche wie dieses!! Wenn wir wieder in der Karlsruhe Messe sind, kommen wir definitiv wieder!

Super toll. Essen ging sehr schnell und war sehr lecker. Vorspeisensalat super knackig und frisch mit tollem, würzigem Dressing. Burger toll angerichtet und sehr lecker. Schön war das es eine Alternative gab, wenn man keine scharfen Jalapenos mochte. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und begeistert und können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen. Auch war der Service sehr freundlich aber nicht aufdringlich. Lob an die tollen Mitarbeiter 🫶🏻

Neben den leckeren anderen Gerichten, ist das handbreit/hohe, saftige Rumpsteak tatsächlich herausgestochen. Super gut! Preis-leistung👍 Guter Service mit freundlichen Lächeln. Entspannte Atmosphäre. Hier wird mehr auf das essen u den Service Wert gelegt, als auf eine hippe Innenarchitektur. Trotzdem sitzt man gemütlich, das Restaurant ist sauber u gepflegt. Parkplätze vor dem Haus.
