We wanted to try it many times and finally did it. Very pleasant atmosphere. Airier than other restaurants. Nice service and the taste is simply delicious.

Urgemütlich ein paar Minuten ausserhalb von Oberstdorf gelegen, aber ein paar Minuten (zu Fuß), die den Weg lohnen. Dringende Empfehlung: Reservierung. Es war ein Samstag abend, dann gibts immer Kässpatzen, deswegen geht man da zu diesem Zeitpunkt hin. Und ich war mal wieder nicht enttäuscht. Service schnell, aufmerksam, super freundlich, da fühlt man sich wohl, bei der Einrichtung auch. Und die Kässpatzen sind wie immer sehr fein gewesen, es war ein prima leckerer, entspannter Abend. Dazu noch Bier aus der Brauerei Weiler, das findet man in der Gegend eher selten, auch das ist es wert, hier hinzugehen, Paulaner und co find man überall :)

Had a delicious dinner here with colleagues on Monday night. We wanted to go to a traditional German restaurant and this was perfect. We sat outside in a park just across the road from the restaurant. It was a beautiful warm day and the park set a gorgeous atmosphere for dinner. The food we had was great, everyone was very happy and there was plenty to drink too (beers and apfelwein). I really enjoyed my meal which was a bit like a pork terrine. Really delicious. There was a big bowl of roasted potatoes in the middle of the table with the food which were so crispy and fluffy! We were able to book on the day but the tables did fill up, so make sure you book ahead. To note: The outdoor seating is in a park, so you may be sat on a bit of a slope.

Very nice restaurant and ambience

The food tasted excellent, was lovingly prepared and was served fresh and hot. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, we were greeted very friendly and given a comfortable table. The service was quick and attentive, always with a smile and a kind word.

Unfortunately I have to change my 5 star rating today. I had the stuffed chicken breast fillet, which I have previously rated 5 stars. Unfortunately this time it was a maximum of 2 stars, the few vegetables were burnt and half the plate was full of a gravy that didn't go well with it at all. (see pictures) It really wasn't recommended. Very nice German restaurant. The waitresses were all very attentive, nice and relaxed. It just took a while to pay. The food was really very good and tasty (schnitzel and stuffed chicken breast fillet). First there is some bread with dip. We had quark with fermented pepper and a reddish cream with onions and tomatoes... Changing from fries to fried potatoes costs 1.50 euros extra, but this was not pointed out. Although not exactly cheap, but it's worth it.

Super lecker , Mittagstisch ist auch zu empfehlen.

Beautiful sheltered terrace with a view of the lake. Delicious egg tarts, good coffee and very nice and friendly service. Our dog was also welcome and even got a bowl of water.

Café Feldheim is truly a special place. The friendly service creates a pleasant atmosphere that makes your visit a real pleasure. The cucumber salad was a real treat, fresh and delicious. But the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the duck with red cabbage. The combination of tender meat and spicy red cabbage was simply perfect. This restaurant is definitely worth recommending!

German warmth in its most beautiful form. Service is absolutely top notch and humorously great. The food is lovingly prepared and the beer is freshly tapped. English is also served here. You feel like you're at home. Definitely reserve in advance!
