As always. Everything OK ....and totally saturated The only problem is the parking situation. There are no parking spaces directly at the restaurant

The food was great, the atmosphere was really cozy, the service was very nice, it was worth a visit, the only criticism was that you can't pay with a card but everything else was great 5 out of 5 stars

Unfortunately I can't agree with the good reviews. The waiter was not at all friendly and when asked he seemed quite annoyed. The sauce for the meat was far too little. Unfortunately the food didn't taste fresh either. The fried potatoes were hardly seasoned at all and the spaetzle was much too soft. What I also don't like is that there is no side salad with the meal, you have to buy it yourself. I'm giving away one star for the extremely friendly waitress who was really nice, unfortunately she only came at the end to clear away. We won't be coming back.

Lekker eten voor goede prijs , lokaal duits eten zoals je het graag hebt. Mooie schnitzel en een heerlijk bier en weizen . Alles netjes . Gewoon goed eten zonder franjes.

On weekends you have to plan a waiting time of around 1 hour. Service can sometimes bring the drinks incorrectly. With this hectic pace, the food doesn't necessarily taste good, especially if the cooks don't wear protective hoods in the heat.

Went to the beer garden for the first time today. It was very nice and the food was delicious as always.

The food is great...the service is great...the price is right...the portions are so big that you can still have something to take home. I can only recommend “Zum alten Fritz”. Reservations should be made on weekends/public holidays and during the holiday season.

Regarding the schnitzel, the clear conclusion: quantity instead of quality. I know some places where the meat tastes better. But side dishes were good. We were probably unlucky with the service, as purely from observation the rest of the service seemed to be good. The only thing that wasn't was the older man who served us. Was impatient, difficult to understand and touched my sister's shoulder several times in a "collegial" way during the conversation. And then there was the payment. Credit cards are not accepted. Okay, there is. However, I cannot understand why foreign EC cards are not accepted and I had never experienced this before, especially since domestic EC cards would supposedly have been accepted.

Great location to eat huge schnitzels and cordon bleu. The prices are really cheap for the size. The different sauces taste very good. Large covered beer garden in a backyard. Toilets also clean.

The conditions were friendly and the food came to the table quickly. The food was good, the schnitzel is great, I would say one of the best in the area 👍🏻, the sauces you can tell that they are homemade. What is important to me is that the schnitzels are not fried in the deep fryer and that will NOT happen with the OLD FRITZ. I didn't fully understand the map, it's a bit too confusing for me.

Reservations and the wait staff deserve the 5 stars. We are more than just disappointed with the kitchen, we ordered 4 meals (there was hair in one meal and the other meal was completely forgotten). The service was very friendly and apologized several times. We then gave up the food that wasn't brought, we got the food with our hair completely new and we weren't charged for 2 drinks.

Price-performance ratio is right, large portions, friendly service, large groups welcome, beer garden top.

First of all, the service is great. Very attentive, always smiling and very friendly despite the really humid heat. The food is good and very sufficient. The outside area is very nice, bring a seat cushion or long pants. You take the basket weave pattern home with you😅. The kitchen was quick despite the large group. We'd love to come back.🌺🌞

Food was delicious and came quite quickly. Service very nice and attentive. It's definitely worth it. We were in the beer garden with 3 children, I find it stupid that unfortunately there was smoking at almost all the tables. I think there should be a general regulation for all beer gardens. (Separate smoking area)

We had dinner with 5 people. When we arrived we were quickly given our reserved seats. The drink order was taken quickly and served promptly. We all ate schnitzel in different variations, the quality of the meat was very good. I had a cordon bleu stuffed with spring onions, bacon and fresh mushrooms. I thought it would be something different and was excited. However, when I opened the good piece, I had to take a closer look to locate the filling that was hidden in the back corner of the Cordon Bleu. This was honestly disappointing and not at all what I expected. At the end we got a schnapps on the house. You can argue about the ambience, a wild mess of different pictures, mirrors and lamps from the 70s.

On a warm summer evening in May 2024, when the sun bathed the small town of Ketsch (BW) in a golden light, we enjoyed an unforgettable schnitzel experience. There was a welcoming atmosphere in the cozy atmosphere grouped around small tables. We were served five schnitzel plates with various toppings, filled to the brim with juicy meat and hearty sauces. There were also crispy fries, Swabian spaetzle and mushroom cream sauce. Every bite was a real treat - without a doubt one of the best kebabs we've ever tasted in Ketsch and the surrounding area. The perfect combination of fresh ingredients and masterful preparation made each piece a feast for the palate. The dish was completely convincing both visually and in terms of taste – and at a reasonable price. Our culinary experience was rounded off by the fantastic service. The service was extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating. We felt completely at home and will definitely visit this restaurant again! Conclusion: A perfect summer evening with delicious schnitzel and warm service. “Bon Appétit” and see you soon!

The old Fritz is my absolute favorite restaurant to eat schnitzel and is actually unbeatably good for me in terms of price/performance! We have certainly been here dozens of times in the last few years. As of September 2022, the Schnitzel XL (550 grams) only costs €19.99 despite inflation and is of top quality, which I think is really great! The taste is simply unbelievably good, and the fries are always deliciously seasoned and crispy. I still eat the rest the next day. Highly recommended for families, as there are also good portions for children and seniors, and the steaks are also very tender and tasty. The staff used to be friendlier, there were probably some changes here, but since the food is so good, I still give it 5 stars. I hope old Fritz stays with us for a long time!

A visit that is worth it, food very plentiful and very good, we could have drunk more if the service had been a little more attentive, toilets are old, they need to be cleaned more often!!

The food was good, but when several people order food, everything doesn't come together but separately when the others have already finished. Our starter comes last and the main course comes last. Especially waiting for sauce, it arrived where my plate was ready... wine spritzer tasted more like water and pepperoni got without bread.

The restaurant of course has an indoor area and a spacious beer garden. The service was friendly and included an information sheet with the menu informing you of a slight price increase. The drinks were brought to our table quickly. Many of the dishes were available in different sizes: S, L and XL rice categories. That was delicious and, in my opinion, completely sufficient even in S. I will definitely come back.

Even the smaller schnitzels are huge. On average you pay around 20 euros per portion. It's better to make a reservation on the weekend as it's pretty full.

We were here on a Saturday evening and got the last table despite having a reservation. The food was absolutely excellent and came quite quickly despite the restaurant being full. For starters we had the garlic pepperoni and then a schnitzel with fries and a pancake with cauliflower and ham. All three dishes tasted very tasty and the portions were generous. I had the schnitzel in the “small” size (L instead of XL) and had to have half of it packed up. We will come back.

Alles Super vom Essen bis zum Personal und immer sehr freundlich.Es gibt tatsächlich nichts zu meckern.Man sollte auch immer telefonisch einen Tisch reservieren.Was mir aber aufgefallen ist....die Webseite ist von 2018 und die sollte man immer auf dem laufenden halten da sich ja die Preise für Speisen und Getränke öfters ändern.Ansonsten freue ich mich jetzt schon auf das nächste Essen bei freundlichen Menschen...
