Bootshaus-Ketsch in Ketsch

We have been to the new boathouse in Ketsch several times now. The ambience is nice and the terrace with the beautiful view is just great. The food was very tasty and always freshly prepared. Emphasis is placed on regional products, which you can also taste. The menu even includes “home cooking” that you don’t often find in restaurants anymore. The selection of delicious wines (black Riesling is my favorite) as well as the cappuccino are a must :-).The service was extremely friendly and the family atmosphere makes you immediately feel at home as a guest. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Very tasty fresh ingredients, most of it is homemade, no frozen goods. Attentive service. Price list looks expensive but the quality matches the price. Definitely recommended.

Soooo time for a review again. It is the boathouse in Ketsch and, in my opinion, an insider tip and definitely worth a visit, or several. The furnishings are rustic but cozy. Staff very friendly and also happy to have fun. I had the Wiener Schnitzel myself and to be honest it was the best thing I've eaten so far. The pork loin from the daily menu with pumpkin and rosemary sauce was also great. A real tip for dessert is the Trileçe!!!. Really awesome. What many people may not like is that you have to pay/order the side dishes extra with the meat, but I am of the opinion that everyone can order whatever they like with their dish. My conclusion: we will definitely be back and a big greeting to the boss who knew us from Quadrato and gave us a warm welcome.

I confess that the last time I ate here was decades ago and I was extremely excited to see what it would be like. First of all, the service: absolutely exemplary. Both waiters were extremely friendly and considerate. You felt very well taken care of and advised. The “main waiter” also beautifully presented the extra dishes of the day, which were a great addition to the menu. Our absolute thanks go to both men. The food was very good. My husband had the burger with all the extras and I had the daily extra with chanterelles in spaetzle. The food would actually have earned 5 stars if the side dishes hadn't flopped. While the salad was very good, the dumplings that were mistakenly served first were hard and cold. They then corrected and served the spaetzle that I had actually ordered. These were good in themselves, but in my opinion the fresh spring onions mixed in have no place in spaetzle. Due to their strong taste, they are more irritating than rounding off. The meat, however, was excellent. A hint of pink at the core (gorgeous) and on point on the outside. (Not hard fried like you often get). The chanterelles were also fabulous. They had their very own chanterelle flavor, which was underlined by the creamy sauce. All in all, I would have liked to give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the side dishes. Conclusion: The boathouse is absolutely worth a visit.

Great family-run restaurant in Ketsch. At the boathouse I tried a rib-eye steak and pork medallions - both cooked to perfection and of excellent quality. The steak was juicy and tender, the medallions wonderfully aromatic. The service was very friendly and attentive. All side dishes and sauces were homemade. Highly recommended.

Today we ate at the boathouse in Ketsch for the first time. It tasted excellent and the quality of the food was excellent. Here, local wineries and butchers supply the restaurant. The owner was very friendly and recommendable, which helped us choose the dishes. The dessert was also super delicious. Great location that I can only recommend ❤️

Sehr guter Fisch und Nachtisch, Steak ok, Pommes und Salatportion zu klein. Kein schönes Ambiente, wirkt kalt. Im Vorraum/Eingang riecht es unangenehm von den Toiletten im Keller hoch. Chef sehr freundlich. Preis/Leistung passt leider nicht.

Sehr schöne Terrasse, auf der man bei schönem Wetter gemütlich sitzen und leckere Speisen und Getränke genießen kann. Liegt sehr günstig, sowohl für Radfahrer, als auch für Autofahrer sind Abstellplätze vorhanden. Es lohnt sich hier vorbei zu schauen 😃

Went there for the first time as a recommendation, the food was very well prepared and very tasty. We really enjoyed the wines. The staff and the boss were very accommodating and extremely friendly. The highlight of the dessert was simply the homemade Albanian cake with three different types of milk. We will be back !

Today I went to the Bootshaus Essen with my family for the first time since the Muzaqi family took over. The menu is attractive, the service is very friendly and attentive and the food was really tasty and attractively prepared. Not only did my husband and I feel very comfortable, our children also ate deliciously and felt welcome at all times. I wish the Muzaqi family and their team much success in the boathouse and look forward to many more delicious evenings there.

Wir waren schön öfter im neuen Bootshaus, das Ambiente ist ansprechend, die Terrasse mit dem wunderschönen Ausblick ist nur zu empfehlen. Das Essen ist immer ausgesprochen lecker und frisch zubereitet. Es wird auf regionale Produkte Wert gelegt. Eine Auswahl an "Hausmannskost" gibt es auch, war man nicht mehr oft findet. Preis-Leistung stimmen. Die Auswahl an Weinen sowie der leckere Cappuccino :-)) sind ein Muss. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und durch eine familiäre Atmosphäre fühlt man sich als Gast sofort wohl. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

1. Visit to the new operator of the restaurant. Visually nothing has changed. We sat nicely on the terrace, the food was good and the waiter was also very friendly. What wasn't good was the restaurateur himself. There were 2 situations in which he sent guests away or the guests left themselves. He complained afterwards, which disturbed the other guests while they were eating. Apparently there were staff problems, like everywhere else at the moment, but he still can't lose his nerve and disturb the other guests. That shouldn't really be the case, he should have been more confident here. So 7 guests left or were sent away and the atmosphere was disturbed for the other guests.

Neuer Wirt im Bootshaus mit Deutscher Küche leicht Italienisch angehaucht. Rumpsteak Medium mit Pfefferkorn Soße mit Spätzle und Salat. sehr gut .Fleisch vom Heimischen Metzger Soße und Spätzle Hausgemacht Salat Frisch knackig . Unterhaltsamer Wirt zu normalen Preisen .Räumlichkeit nett eingerichtet. Gebäude ist halt 60 Jahre Baustil was aber nicht an der Gemütlichkeit zehrt .Wir kommen gerne wieder

> New tenants since April 2024 < We celebrated our wedding in the boathouse last Friday. It was a last-minute decision and both we and all our guests were thrilled. The food with starters, different main menus and dessert was great, service was super nice and accommodating, we all felt very comfortable. We actually wanted to part ways after coffee and cake, but we liked it so much that we spontaneously ordered little things as finger food towards the evening. Everything was great too, especially the homemade antipasti and dips were sensationally delicious. In terms of drinks, all wishes were also perfectly implemented, from the champagne reception to the evening cocktails. The boathouse team made our wedding celebration a very special highlight. Thank you very much ❤️

We had dinner there today for the first time since the change in ownership and it was really, really tasty!!! My husband and son's schnitzels were crispy and you can simply taste the good quality of the meat. My rump steak was to my liking. As I requested, “medium rare”. Absolutely delicate and of the best quality here too. Also the grilled vegetables and the cognac pepper sauce...hhhhhmmmm - delicious!!! We were all full, but still treated ourselves to dessert. That was also excellent! The prices are absolutely reasonable for the extremely good quality. We are thrilled and thank you for the very nice service! Our two golden retrievers were also warmly welcomed and were immediately given a bowl of water without asking. We all felt very comfortable and the atmosphere also contributed to that. On the terrace you have a beautiful view over the lush, green meadows. The optimal location on the Rhine, Kraichbach, Hohwiese and Anglersee also invites you to take a digestive walk afterwards. We would love to come back and can absolutely recommend the Bootshaus Ketsch! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We were just guests here and we are thrilled 🤩🤩. My trout was a dream. The best I've eaten so far.🥰Before that there was a small salad, here too everything was perfect and the salad dressing 🥰 . My husband had a super delicious mushroom ragout. The service was first class, friendly, courteous, caring, fast service. Everything in the restaurant is fresh and clean, and great attention is paid to everything here. We felt very comfortable, we would definitely be regular guests here, but unfortunately we are just passing through. But we will be back 👍 . All in all, the restaurant deserves a real star ⭐️

The restaurant has been redesigned very well and the tenants are very nice, it is inexpensive and definitely worth the money, everything is homemade and therefore suitable for almost everyone. I ate a burger, it tasted incredibly good and had a lot of flavor, and it came with fries. The homemade lemonades taste really good too! The atmosphere is inviting and you feel comfortable. The parking lot is not the largest but still enough. There is also a separate entrance for strollers/disabled people, where you can also see the clubhouse.

A stroke of luck....came back spontaneously after years, unaware of the new operator since April 3, 2024. Cozy property, in addition to the beautiful location, warm and familiar atmosphere with loving personal contact. The menu is extensive and the service is quick and flexible. Good wine selection, draft beer, the food is handmade, lovingly presented and very tasty. A big plus for flexible food accommodation. Conclusion: Returning home to friends with big hearts and understanding of hospitality, food, people and situations. Ich hatte eine wundervolle Erfahrung, das Essen war sehr lecker, die Ambiente mit dem Altrhein war sehr schön und angenehm, der Service war gut und die Kellnerin war sehr höflich. Ich würde dieses Restaurant wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Und ich würde gerne hierher zurückkommen!

7,80 Euro für eine Suppe und 16,80 Euro für das günstigste Fleischgericht (wohlgemerkt ohne Salat!) - dafür hätten für meine Bedürfnisse die Portionen größer sein müssen. Der Service war soweit nett und die Räumlichkeiten haben Wohnzimmeratmosphäre.

Tolles Essen Hat mir gut gefallen

Das Essen war top. Wir waren zu einem Geburtstag da und hatten eine kleine Karte aber es war für jeden etwas dabei. Der Salat hatte ein tolles Dressing Man hätte sich reinlegen können 😁 Service zu Beginn etwas schleppend und teilweise etwas gestresst, so dass man das Gefühl hatte man wäre als Gast so bisschen der Bittsteller. Da ist noch Luft nach oben. Innen ist alles etwas altmodisch mit Teppichen auf dem Boden. Für Allergiker ganz übel.

Wir sind von der Chefin superfreundlich bedient worden und haben sehr lecker gegessen, hervorragendes frisch paniertes Schnitzel mit butterzarten Spätzle, ein sehr leckerer Wurstsalat. Das Bootshaus kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Gehobenes Ambiente, sehr gutes frisches schmackhaftes Essen zu fairen Preisen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Essen war geschmacklich gut, aber die Panade bei meinem Cordon Blue hat sich vollständig vom Fleisch gelöst bzw. war an der Unterseite total matschig, deshalb kein Genuss. Und mit 18,80€ (ohne Salat) zu teuer.

War nach langer Zeit wieder mal im Bootshaus essen, und es war sehr lecker. Ich hatte das einen kleinen Feldsalat und das Steinpilzrisotto, welches schon lecker geduftet hat. Das Risotto war gut von der Konsistenz, sehr heiß serviert, was das Aroma der Steinpilze hervorgehoben hat. Anschließend hatte ich 2 Kugeln Vanilleeis mit steirischem Kürbiskernöl und karamellisierten Kürbiskernen (leider kein Foto gemacht) was absolut MEGA geschmeckt hat. Konnte mir diese Verbindung zwischen Eis und Kürbiskernöl nicht vorstellen, aber es hat sooooo genial geschmeckt!!!! Unbedingt ausprobieren! Meine Freundin hatte das Zanderfilet.

Wir waren hier zu dritt zum Essen. Das Essen war superlecker und was ich noch in keinem Lokal erlebt habe: Die Chefin hatte angeboten die bestellte Forelle "Müllerin" zu filetieren und hat dies auch zur Zufriedenheit getan (es blieb keine einzige Gräte drin). Der Service ist perfekt - wir waren alle 3 rundum zufrieden und haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Wir waren im Sommer auf der Terrasse und hatten einen wunderbaren Mittag mit tollen Essen. Pro: - Essen war hervorragend - Freundliche und hilfsbereite Chefin - Gute Lage - Viele Parkmöglichkeiten - Super Ambiente Contra - Langsamer Service! (nach Rücksprache mit der Dame jedoch äußerst kooperativ und sehr professionell) - Handpapier auf dem Klo war leer.

Haben hier erstmals Essen bestellt und abgeholt. Wunschuhrzeit wurde perfekt eingehalten, die Speisen direkt aus der Küche in unsere Thermotasche verpackt. Das essen war auch nach 15 minütiger Fahrt noch schön warm und cross. Extra Wünsche für Kinder waren kein Problem. Mein Wildragout war äußerst zart, an Soße nicht gespart und aromatisch, die Spätzle frisch und 'cremig'. Alles in allem sehr lecker, gerne wieder!

Sehr leckeres Essen und tolle Bedienung. Obwohl wegen Corona wieder einmal geschlossen wurden die AHA Regeln vorbildlich eingehalten.
