Anyone looking for very good Bavarian cuisine is in good hands here. Cozy atmosphere, very nice service and very good food. I can only recommend :)

The new tenants opened three weeks ago - this period is important to evaluate: I was on site for two days - unfortunately with mixed impressions. On the first visit they said it was only open in the afternoon. Went there again in the afternoon: “Not anymore today – sorry.” On the third attempt the door was locked. When someone came out and I just wanted to have a drink, it was refused - "not possible yet". Only when you eat something, that's what it said. For me as a guest it was a strange experience, especially given the high temperatures around Easter. The next day I happened to meet the very friendly waiter again, with whom I had briefly spoken in Hungarian - he recommended the liver, and it was actually excellent. Unfortunately, the positive impression was later spoiled: the tenant turned off the lights outside without warning - and so I realized that it was the same gentleman from the previous day. What the waiter told me particularly made me think: He left after a few weeks because he was supposedly deducted €600 from the minimum wage - for a 16m² room that he shared with his wife, who also worked in the company. I am specifically passing this information on as hearsay. If this statement turns out to be false, I will delete this post immediately. But until then, I see it as my duty to take such information seriously and draw attention to grievances. If that is true, in my opinion it is exploitation - and not acceptable to me personally.

Super delicious Franconian cuisine with huge portions and very friendly service.

I was there yesterday, but the inn is closed. No notice on the door, website or Google that it is closed. I experienced the same thing once after Easter. Is the inn closed forever????

En general una experiencia bien, pero repetidamente pedí un Schweinshaxe (hombro de cerdo) y recibí un Schweinshaxe Dame (hombro de cerdo, tamaño de la señora). Siendo un hombre de 100 kg no creo que me vea particularmente afeminado así que me decepcionó recibir la talla de dama a pesar de pedir la porción completa e incluso repetir el pedido. No recibí disculpas por su error. El Kaiserschmarrn (desierto) era bastante promedio en comparación con otros lugares donde lo he tenido. Mi novia, que no come carne roja, se las arregló con una ensalada ya que el pollo se había agotado.

A quaint and cozy restaurant in downtown Passau with very friendly service. The food is good, but there is room for improvement in terms of taste and presentation. If the sauce itself (which is very limited) for boiled beef has little flavor and you think you can add flavor with grated horseradish, then unfortunately that doesn't work. Even the extremely lovingly decorated pancake is only moderately impressive due to its presentation. You can do this privately, but as a restaurant the presentation of the food should also appear professional. I still had a good evening in the restaurant, but a significant improvement in quality is possible.

As usual, very tasty Bavarian cuisine. Today we ate good farmer's goose with friends. Everything was super tender and cooked to perfection. The sauce alone was a dream, without the usual chemicals! Together with the great and, as always, very friendly service, we had the perfect day.
