I can hardly add anything to this restaurant that someone else hasn't already mentioned. After 16 years (every two years), we happily return every day of the trade fair. There's hardly anything we haven't tried there, and each one is better than the last. Lovely people, a great atmosphere (both old and new), and damn good food.

Completely satisfied. We'll be back.

The staff was simply friendly, attentive, and well-trained. The ambiance was very traditional and cozy. We were looking forward to the ribs. The pictures and descriptions were fantastic. Let's start with the fried potatoes we ordered. They looked like they had previously been served as potato salad with bacon and then thrown into the pan. 6, sit down! The ribs. A thoroughly grilled outrage, neither juicy nor of an acceptable taste. Grade 6-!!! There should have been a sauce to go with them. Curry ketchup... cheap and off-topic. The garnish of carrots and greens seems to have been reused several times. The food at the other tables at least looked good.

The Wirtshaus zum Bayern Stadl is a true highlight in Bad Nenndorf. As soon as you enter the rustic, cozy restaurant, you feel like you're in a little piece of Bavaria. The menu is varied, traditional, and absolutely delicious – we were particularly impressed by the schnitzel with homemade potato salad. The portions are more than generous, the value for money is excellent, and the service was friendly, attentive, and prompt. The beautiful beer garden invites you to linger, and its relaxed atmosphere almost steals your time – you simply won't want to leave.

The service was friendly, the food quality and portion sizes were good, and the price was reasonable. The clientele during our visit were more experienced diners. Unfortunately, not a good experience Our visit to the Bayernstadl in Bad Nenndorf was not recommended overall. Good and attentive service makes or breaks the pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the waitresses seemed annoyed and stressed, giving the impression that we were rather unwelcome guests. The food was also disappointing. Of the four dishes we ordered, only one tasted good. The goulash in particular was disappointing – neither balanced nor particularly appealing. Overall, the restaurant did not meet our expectations. We see no reason to return.

The meat was very good and the service friendly. Unfortunately, the beans with bacon were disappointing, as they lacked flavor, and the tomato salad was more like an onion salad with tomatoes. Another positive is that the portions are comfortably large, even for people who eat a lot. When the place is full, it feels like the Hofbräuhaus in Munich, but without the liter glasses. When the place is empty, it's more like the pub around the corner.

The service is great. But, Käsespetzle should taste like Spätzle with cheese, not the other way around. It would be more economical and flavorful to use less Hollandaise sauce and processed cheese and a little bit of old, spicy hard cheese. Even if the price goes up a bit, this dish will be a hit. Old habits aren't always better. So, less cheese, more Spätzle. It's also more digestible. Advice from health and hygiene specialists.

I wouldn't recommend a visit. Unfortunately, we were particularly negative about the service. It was "moderately" busy at best, but the waitresses seemed overwhelmed, took a long time, and were, above all, very unfriendly! I've never experienced such rude service before. The food was average quality, but the prices were comparatively high! The ambiance is ordinary, and the restaurant looks a bit dated. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it!

Unfortunately, our expectations weren't met: bread dumplings were more or less made of breadcrumbs, ribs and smoked pork were grilled to death; service was top-notch! I recommend a visit to the Hirschgarten in Munich or the Waldwirtschaft Grosshesselohe.

A traditional inn on the outskirts of Bad Nenndorf. The menu offers limited food, but what's on it is good. The wine selection is minimal.

Busy but not loud. The food was okay for us, but there were plenty of options on the menu. Typical Bavarian! The service was very friendly and cheerful.

The food was very good, although one of the waitresses made a really stupid comment when we were smoking a cigarette outside, asking if she could carry on eating. (We had already waited 45 minutes after ordering.) After we said yes and sat back at our table, we waited another 45 minutes. I thought that was cheeky... and for me it had something to do with power games. After all, 2 out of 6 guests at the table were having a quick smoke and 4 were still sitting there. The food was very good, the atmosphere was old German, a nice beer garden right on the main street.

We went there for dinner two days in a row. And we were thrilled. The food is incredibly delicious, and there's something for everyone. And it's definitely filling. The waitresses, who were different every day, were super attentive and friendly.

We spontaneously dropped in last night without a reservation and were absolutely thrilled. I generally recommend reserving a table. We found a seat at the bar and felt very comfortable in the relaxed atmosphere with the attentive staff. My goat cheese salad with walnuts was perfectly seasoned with an onion, oil, and vinegar marinade. All the ingredients were freshly cut on the salad plate. My partner was served a hearty meat dish with fried potatoes and herb butter, along with fresh coleslaw. We found the portions much too large. One plate was easily enough for two people. For us, anyway. After this visit, it became clear to us why all the tables were reserved. So, we'll definitely be back. Clearly recommended🥰

Very abundant and delicious food. We ordered the dishes pictured, and they were all delicious! It's asparagus season, and they're definitely worth trying. As you can see, they're huge and came with mayonnaise. The price was good for the amount you get. The atmosphere was very local and authentic.

This was our first time here and unfortunately it started at the entrance... there's a sign saying please wait here, the service will come and get you, so far so good... so we were standing there and then a young woman came and asked what she could do for us... huh???? I then quoted the text on the sign again... what is this... well, we were sent to a table (yes, sent) and not brought... so we ordered something to eat and drink... The sausage salad I ordered was so-so, the bread was quite dry and not a good choice, I've eaten much better sausage salads prepared with love. This salad gets a solid 5 from me for presentation (school grade). My companion had half a schnitzel Provence and said that the fried potatoes were cooked in a pan that had previously had a fish in it... and that the goat cheese on the schnitzel wasn't goat cheese but Harzer cheese... So once tested that was it.....

None. Further recommendations: I travel a lot in Germany and have never had such bad Bavarian food anywhere. I ordered cheese spaetzle without looking at the menu, and the cheese spaetzle came with hollandaise sauce. The roast pork was inedible, the side salad was a disaster, and the gravy was terrible.

Typical, traditional, quintessentially German inn. The food was consistently solid (perhaps a bit meat-heavy. The goulash soup was as it should be, the fried chicken seemed homemade and the currywurst with fries was very solid. Service was helpful and attentive. It was also child-friendly (dishes for the little ones, child seat and changing table). Rustic atmosphere. We would come back.

I've always enjoyed going there, even though the food is mostly convenience. Unfortunately, the service staff seem to have been replaced, which makes me no longer want to go there. After being treated extremely harshly and rudely yesterday, I will visit other restaurants in the future where you feel more welcome. Update: It wasn't about the additional sauces that we had a right to pay for. It was about the way you treated us when we allowed ourselves to move the table and bench half a meter. We were actually always impressed by the food and the friendliness of the service staff. But since there is a lady in service who is rude and gives off a bad mood, we definitely won't be coming back.

Stopped in today to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was again soooo delicious and the portions were generous. The staff very friendly and prompt. Completely satisfied. Only the way to the car was very difficult, my stomach was somehow too heavy. We'll definitely be back!

Rustic, light pub atmosphere, not very Bavarian cozy. Service friendly and attentive. But the food: a lot of convenience, little love for Bavaria. Any real Bavarian would turn away. I can do it better at home. Unseasoned and sometimes sticky dumplings, the roast pork was okay, the venison goulash was bland. Too bad 😢

From 4 stars down to 1 The food was OK, but things apparently escalated in the women's restroom. Someone seems to have exploded on the toilet, so the little one didn't want to eat anything else after the visit, and she didn't go to the bathroom either. With all the consequences for us afterwards. Staff walk through the guests with wet gloves and mops in their hands, loudly complaining about the mess.... Keep calm, clean up, get angry if you like, but as a paying customer, I don't want to hear about any of that. Lowest-than-average and completely lacking in class. I spoke to the waitress, no reaction, no apology, nothing. Wait time to pay: 15 minutes. Not exactly service-oriented either. At the front of the dining room, jokes are being made about the restroom escapade. More of a pub vibe, unfortunately not for us. We definitely won't be back. Another addendum to the reply: Unfortunately, that's not the case at all, and it makes a return visit completely unlikely. We pointed this out to the employee, as she only arrived afterwards. So please don't mix up the order. I thought the route leads through the dining room. No reason to come in from the restroom wearing gloves, take the wiper in the dining room, and loudly complain (just as loudly) about what a mess this is. I truly believe this was very unpleasant for you. Unfortunately, it was for us too. No chance to avoid it. All the best.

Went to rehab for three weeks and went there to drink beer with a colleague. Very friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. The food looked very good, but we didn't try it ourselves. Definitely highly recommended and therefore full star rating.

We went there on Saturday evening, w/o reservation. Ladies there were very helpful, after seating us in bar area, their found as a table. Food was very good, selection of beers on tap as well - mostly Paulaners. Service was top notch. Highly recommend.

We stopped here on our way back to the UK. Amazing place with a lovely atmosphere. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was brilliant, portions were huge! Menus are available in English as well which is an additional plus. Definitely worth visiting!

We were there on a Friday evening. Luckily we were able to make a reservation at short notice. The restaurant was full to capacity, but we were still served quickly and friendly. The portion sizes were, as expected in a Bavarian restaurant, very large. The food tasted very good, not overly seasoned. I had fried potatoes as a side dish, which were a little too greasy for my taste, but that's the only criticism. The dishes were beautifully presented despite the busyness. Overall, we can only recommend this restaurant.

We have eaten the menu up and down and eat lunch regularly. I'm sensitive to additives and can't go to every restaurant but I've never had any problems here. Everything tastes very good, especially the daily specials, as if cooked by mother. The restaurant is super cozy and the service is incredibly friendly and attentive. You get the feeling that the Bayernstadl team enjoys their job and there is a good atmosphere among each other. We feel really comfortable here and always welcome. And the prices are absolutely reasonable. Full marks

Super fast. The speed made you feel like you were in a fast food restaurant. We were there at 5:30 p.m., ordered, food and drinks were at the table 5 minutes later. The meat was great, but the sauerkraut was a bit too overcooked and didn't have enough flavor for me. We paid the bill at 6 p.m.
