It used to be a good place in town. Unfortunately, for the past few months, the waiter has been incredibly unfriendly. Today we left before eating. Dining out like this is no fun at all…we won't be coming back anytime soon…

The restaurant's ambiance is as rustic as the owner herself. 😉 The generous portions are absolutely worth the price, and we've always been very satisfied with the taste. Reservations are always recommended for groups larger than two people. If you're not looking for anything fancy, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back! 👍

The food was plentiful and good. Prices are relatively reasonable. Unfortunately, like at other Greek restaurants, they don't serve ouzo. What a shame.

The staff was always attentive, the food was okay, the bifteki didn't taste like bifteki, more like a meatball, the gyros were too thickly sliced ​​and poorly seasoned, and the appetizers were poorly prepared. The ambiance was also not very good.

We went to a Greek restaurant last week. After looking at the menu, we ordered drinks and appetizers – they arrived quickly and were delicious. After that, however, we had to wait almost an hour for the main course, which was unfortunately a bit too long. As a result, I was already quite full from the appetizer and couldn't finish my main course. The rest was easily packed up, which I liked. Perhaps it was just an exception, but it was still a shame because it didn't allow us to fully enjoy the evening. Overall, though, it's a solid restaurant that we'll probably give another chance.

A lovely Greek restaurant. The ambiance is a bit rustic Greek, but very cozy. The service is excellent, and you don't have to wait long from ordering to being seated. The gyro plate was very good; the meat was beautifully roasted on a spit, delicious, and juicy. You can put together your own salad at a lovely and extensive salad bar. The dishes I saw from the other guests all looked very good, too. A little treat: they have Mythos on tap 😋😋 If you're looking for a good restaurant in Bad Nenndorf, this is the place to be.

Everything was delicious. Everyone was very, very nice.

We were there early Sunday evening, and as a customer/guest, we were not greeted as "supplicants." After such unfriendliness, I would have preferred to leave, but my companions were hungry and wanted to stay. I limited myself to a side salad, which was charged at €6.50, which I would have gladly paid if the salad bar had offered a selection of fresh ingredients. One companion's food was already cold by the time it was served, but the other's was piping hot, which I personally consider the better option. Our server, a man in his mid-30s, was the only one who was friendly toward the guests. The rest of the staff wandered through the so-called restaurant in a very grumpy manner, with a "customer is annoying" look on their faces. The icing on the cake was the boss. A couple at the next table wanted to pay with a voucher. The boss then loudly shouted at them, telling them that if they bought a voucher they should tell the recipient that they had to point out the voucher before asking for the bill. The customer was so intimidated that she apologized and said how delicious the food was and that they would be back soon. The bill came to €46.20. The customer handed over the €50 and immediately left the restaurant with her companion. We will definitely not be visiting this restaurant again. As customers we are not used to being treated so unfriendly. In our opinion the food itself has nothing to do with good Greek cuisine.

The food here is incredibly delicious! We visited for the first time, lured by the appealing pictures on Google Maps. A traditionally decorated Greek restaurant, perhaps a little dated in places, but totally cozy. We started with a super delicious salad, put together ourselves from the extensive salad buffet. The feta is fantastic! It was served with tzatziki and freshly toasted bread. For the main course, we had the bifteki plate, gyros, and a small bifteki = incredibly delicious, everything perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. It was accompanied by crispy fries, delicious tomato rice, and a spicy sauce. We received very friendly and attentive service. The value for money is good. I highly recommend a visit here!

No payment by cash. When asked why, the answer was confusing, it's been like this for two years. Comments here in the reviews show it hasn't been possible for over a year. A sign at the entrance would have been nice! Restrooms weren't clean enough; doors had to be forced shut to close them. Salads from the salad bar are only available with set meals, which isn't clearly explained, so those without set meals were charged €6.50 per mini salad. Leftover food had to be packed up yourself with a fork pulled from the pile of cutlery at our table. At least, after being initially surprised that you had to pay in cash and complaining about the salad prices, they gave us a small discount. Conclusion: The food was great, but everything else couldn't make up for it. The overall package wasn't right.

All in all, a top Greek restaurant and highly recommended...

We visited the restaurant again with several people after a while and were warmly welcomed. However, that was the only positive thing about visiting the restaurant. The table we were allowed to sit at outside was already broken in several places and some of the water glasses served were dirty. Not much can be said about the service, as we only saw the waiter once to order and then never saw him again. The food itself fluctuated between two extremes: either it was tasteless and full of fat, leaving puddles of fat on the plate, or it was incredibly salty, dry and tough. Most of the salad from the buffet was already significantly dried out and had a somewhat soapy taste in places, so that it couldn't save the food either. Overall, despite the friendly welcome, neither the ambience nor the food convinced us, which is why we will prefer to visit other locations in the future.

We eat there regularly and bring a few things home. Very good value for money. There's a self-service salad bar on site. The dishes taste very good, are prepared quickly, and are always very filling. I definitely recommend it!

Cute little place in traditional Greek style. Very friendly and courteous staff. Unfortunately, I think I had a very small piece of meat in my eggplant and I'm a vegetarian... wasn't particularly dramatic for me, but definitely shouldn't be. Otherwise the food was really delicious.

We were at this Greek place for the first time,, wanted to try it out,,,, for a good Greek, the restaurant was very empty,, which we didn't know at all,, service was nice,,, food came relatively quickly,,, fries were bad, the other thing was fine,, you could get salad from the buffet beforehand,, it was also very fresh,,,,, there was no ouzo,,,, which we didn't know at all,, then had to ask the boss if there was no ouzo and I explained to her where we come from and there are 3 of them, one you can hardly sit down, the 2nd comes during the meal and the 3rd comes with the bill, and then we also have honey balls which are very tasty.. we won't be coming back to this restaurant,,, even the location was simply and tastelessly decorated, we wouldn't have expected this from this spa town,, very disappointing, but all the best anyway,,

Went there for the first time to celebrate my mother's birthday. We were greeted very warmly. The kids were welcome there. The food was very rich and extremely tasty. After dinner, our daughter was given something sweet to take on the way home. The restaurant is a bit rustic, but that's what adds to its charm. As always, the owner was a bit grumpy and the lady seemed hectic at times. The fact that you don't get shouted at when you walk straight to the counter can be described as friendly with such owners. You should be able to deal with it. Facilities are very old and rather cramped. Guests with walkers prefer to leave it alone. After all, the toilet is anything but barrier-free. The omelette was also significantly better. There was a lack of egg and mushrooms here. The whole thing seemed quite gray and carelessly prepared - at least for collection. Prices are even acceptable if one observes the general rise in prices to the point of usury over many months. Waiting times when ordering take-away are still not shortened by requesting a drink or ouzo on the house. Why? Are guests away from home less important? Attentive owners do not notice such glaring weaknesses! The competitor next door apparently couldn't hold on due to poor quality and service. It's not for nothing that it's closed "due to technical difficulties". Whoever believes it? In any case, actually a big advantage for Socrates. So finally make something of it, be polite and don't rest on your laurels... But who of the staff reads or cares about the opinions of the guests?!

The young waiter has such dirty fingernails that you lose your food. The innkeeper should notice something like that. The food was okay and was served after 15 minutes. However, requests for changes (e.g. no rice) will not be taken into account. Mayonnaise or tzatziki are only brought upon further request/demand or have been forgotten. Only cash payment is possible. The lady of the house seemed unfriendly. Unfortunately we cannot make any recommendations 😕

You can eat there quickly. Food is prepared quickly. Lots of disgusting flies on the outside seat. Not nice.

Best Greek food I've eaten in a long time

After about 20 minutes our drinks were picked up and delivered after another 15 minutes. The starters came again 30 minutes later. However, only a part and the rest 10 minutes later. The last bit of the starter came with the main course. For the steak I picked up the steak knife myself, it was quicker. The food was very tasty and there was nothing wrong with it. Very hot and tasty. The leftovers were supposed to be taken away, and after a while we were given a Styrofoam box and were allowed to pack the food ourselves. Sanitary facilities were clean. Conclusion: food great, service very nice, waiting time crazy and service nice but uncoordinated.

The food is delicious, the implementation of it "Order by number with different requests" didn't work well. I don't know that you have to ask for the ouzo to go with the ouzo plate. Update: Change request: liver away and Bifteki on the plate +€6.50... No, I don't think that's fair to the information "surcharge for this"

We have been coming for years and are largely very satisfied. Yesterday, however, we were thrilled 🤩 As a “meat-free eater”, the choice is manageable (but you no longer always want to eat salad, pasta or bread). I recommend the appetizer platter (large), attractive and varied (I swapped meat parts 😀) The outside area has also been spruced up.👍 The service is friendly and accommodating. As always, very tasty, reasonably priced, great quality meat and the portion is sufficient. Hygiene measures were observed. We always enjoy coming here, even if it's only possible to take away at the moment.

Very nice family environment. Nice decor, very nice service. However, the restaurant is very small and therefore fills up quickly. It's easy to stand/sit in each other's way. Drinks were brought and quickly taken away after they were finished - but without asking if you wanted anything else and there was no or hesitant response to gestures (perhaps because it was very full). Food was perfect. Not too little, not greasy, tasty and very lovingly prepared. I would still recommend this restaurant and eat there again soon.

Well, first of all, when we arrived the housekeeper was a bit unfriendly! She asked if we wanted something to eat? The tone could not exactly be defined as a warm welcome! Then we got the food and discovered with regret that the meat was totally over salted! After asking before paying, is everything OK? Did it taste good? We told the waitress... but there was no response! Not even a small sorry, I'm sorry! I found this frightening... Even the salad in the bar was sometimes not fresh but rather canned... That was the first and last time Sorry!

We were passing through and hunger brought us to this restaurant. The shop urgently needs renovation! Nothing inviting, totally uncomfortable and old. The toilet is a disaster! Food is mediocre, there are much better Greeks. You have to get your own salad. If I have gyros on my plate, it goes without saying that there will be tzatziki with it. When I asked, I was told I would have to order a whole portion (4.50 for a blob) .It doesn't work at all! The reorder was then forgotten. Since the portions were a bit large for us, we asked for the meat to be packed. A box was very carelessly placed on the table and I had to pack my own food. I've never experienced anything like that in a restaurant! A place where large dogs are allowed and still lie right next to me and stink is an absolute no go for us!! Unfortunately not recommended at all!

No card payment possible Restaurants that do not accept card payments are not suitable for today's times and should be avoided. Conclusion: You have to wait a long time for the ordered food, not less than 1 hour, service is very bad, then you have to wait at least 30 minutes for the requested invoice, payment is only possible in cash, no card payments are accepted, probably to avoid taxes , you shouldn't go to a place like this again, total disappointment.

Very warm hosts. Super friendly and child friendly. After eating, the kids got ice cream and a lollipop. Greek ambience a la tavern. Rustic but fitting. Portions were large as usual and the food was tasty. The souvlaki was juicy, the Giros wasn't too dry. Starter plate also recommended.

We were there for the first time. The food was totally over salted (all the dishes we ordered). The meat (suflaki) was tough and dry. Mineral water was sparkling tap water. Toilets are getting old and unfortunately not clean either. Ambiance, tables are very close to the neighboring table, old furniture. Conclusion, the first and last time I was there.

Das Essen war wieder sehr gut und reichlich. Die Bedienung freundlich. Allerdings sind die Toiletten in einem schlechtem Zustand. Zwar sauber aber absolut renovierungwürdig.
